Got me in quick to look at a small oil leak and did a quick inspection. Pointed out a few things I knew needed attention. Didn't have parts available for the small oil leak repair at time oilfilter adapter gasket/housing. 13 year old car was quoted for $9k in repairs after the inspection part. If anyone is wondering the labour rate was quoted at $170.00hr which is a huge deciding factor on any work. Remote fob reprogram was told would be of been charged 1hr labour/$170.. for lthe ess than 10min job i said i take it elsewhwere.

Kelvin was a great person with his personality and was great sales person to deal I have no h to invite other person to go deal with him.
Places to avoid. The staff Kyle was nice but the sales manager was pushy as hell. Keep asking for a deposit even before completing the inspection report. IN addition they have two different inspection report. One is a checklist that says everything is great and dandy, the other a not so bright picture for themselves internally. Always ask for the detailed one. Would not recommend at all.
3 Seperate Phone calls to the service department over two days (just bought a second hand GMC and wanted a proper dealership to work on it), gave up each time after 6 - 7 min on hold... Was gonna try again today until I seen the complaints on here about the service department... Moving on to another dealership, thanks for the tips.
I recently had issues with an engine I-Con popping up and engine going into limp mode. I was 120 kms out of Edmonton on my way to GP and had to have my truck towed. Unit is a new 2017 GMC 17000 kms. It took the service department two days to run a diagnostic test and another week 4 days to get parts NOT INCLUDING THE WEEKEND. Finally received my truck back and 60 kms out of GP it happened again. VERY DISAPPOINTED with Capital GMC and their service department. I don't think they know what their doing in that shop and I kept getting the " we're working on it". I am done with them and wont be dealing with Capital in the future. AND IN ADDITION TO MY DISAPPOINTMENT! GMC roadside assistance wouldn't tow my truck back to Edmonton where I live, rather they said the closest dealership was Drayton Valley which was only 20 minutes closer, and I would have to pay for a hotel and my own ride. So I called AMA. They towed my truck to Edmonton no cost. Get AMA, Not the extra cost of GMC road side.

Well first, a little back story, a few weeks ago my wife and I had our third child. And we had planned to go to the new museum the RAM in Edmonton, so I started the vehicle so it would be warm for the new baby, but when I came out the heater was not working!! I called a couple places to see about getting it booked and having something to drive while it was in the shop. I also gave Tony and the team at Capital GMC Buick a call. I was Expecting the same answer as every other dealership that over the weekend things are very busy and there was nothing they could do for me at such short notice.
But I was so thrilled that not only did Adam the New car manager take the time to get me booked into service, but got me a vehicle that would fit the whole family as a loaner.
After driving the loaner vehicle for that weekend my wife and I fell in love. We told Tony and Adam help us work out a deal so that you guys could take our old vehicle and will take this new one, not only did they give us a great deal and amazing service but they made us feel like it was not hard to get all these things done ASAP.

I have given a 5 star rating because I feel that my concerns were dealt with, and in the end, I believe I received a fair deal. It took a bit of work, but Abe and Josh came through for me. It was my first new vehicle purchase, so I wanted everything to be just right! I had asked to keep the factory window sticker for a souvenir and for reference - was told 'no problem', but when I took delivery of the truck, I learned that the detailer had ripped it up. However, Abe had promised a new one to me - hoping he keeps the promise ! Aaron in parts is a true professional. Helped me greatly with accessories I wanted to purchase.
Naomi working the phone was just so helpful and made my experience with the dealership a whole lot easier. Special thanks to her for doing an excellent job. The staff here during my visit were overall very professional and courteous while assisting me.

This Dealer out of the 3 I went to for buying a truck had the least pressure and the best deal. My Sales rep had encouraged me to think about this purchase before making it, which was different than the other 2. It was way easier to relax while seaching as well. I've recently had to go to two different dealerships for both my wife's and my own vehicle issues. My wife's vehicle was taken care of by a GO Auto group dealership and mine was by Capital GMC Buick. The stark contrast I have seen in COVID-related preventative measures from the two dealerships is staggering. The GO Auto dealership had all their clerks cramped behind the counters where majority of them not wearing masks standing shoulder to shoulder. They then had the shuttle drive me home in a vehicle with three other customers in the car. I was unaware of the situation until everyone was already in the vehicle otherwise I would've taken a taxi home. Capital GMC Buick on the other had all their staff wear masks when greeting customers and they sent me home in an Uber where I was the only passenger in the vehicle. I would like to commend them for taking these preventative measures in keeping their staff and customers safe. If all businesses operate responsibly and carefully like Capital GMC Buick, we would not need more restrictive measures from the government.

No one told me the head gaskets on the used car were leaking until I got there. It's about a 45 minute drive from home, and they knew where I lived. Could definitely have had the courtesy to tell me the $6,000 car I wanted needed $3,000 to $4,000 worth of work done to it before I actually went and waited to talk to someone. Was rather annoyed at that.

Minus one star for sale experience since as soon as I made a deal with the sales manager. Price was lowered for cars with similar models. Felt like I did not get the best deal.

Worst customer service I have ever experienced! Came from British Columbia to do an out of province inspection on our new truck- was told it would it would be ready at lunch and they had no service cars came back for a 20 minute drive - guess what... not ready. Was told it was going up on the hoist atbthat moment and would be ready in an hour. Called a few hours later as I had heard nothing--lady at the front desk said the service department was too busy to answer the phone so best bet was to come in and see if it's done. On my way driving here and the guy from service calls me and tells me they were "too busy" to get to it today. Absolutely unreal- funny part is we are looking to buy a new Chrysler vechile in Boxing Day and they sure as hell won't be getting my business! Never would set foot in this dealership ever again!

Not happy with their tone of talking and their body language with me.. may be i am a brown guy. Won't come back. Paid more price 790$(excluding 50$ for lug nuts) than quoted price 756$ for installation and balance... will add photos if you need for verification..
