I bought an F150 from Sound Ford about 2 weeks ago and I have to say that the car buying was first rate. I tried to buy the truck from another dealer first and experience was not plesant.
Jay Siverson, and the rest of the team, was helpful and kind. I never felt pressured and they gave me a fair price for my trade-in.

Sound Ford was a great experience while buying my new 2018 F150 XLT. I was surprised by the service we received and the patience they had with me while I looked at dozens of trucks. They knew my budget and they did a great job showing me trucks with the specs I needed within my range. In the end I feel like I got more truck for the money than you will get anywhere else! Thanks to Bill and James for their amazing help and willing to work hard to find me exactly what I needed for the right price. Because of Bill and James I would recommend Sound Ford. Came it last week to see the inventory. Meet a nice gentleman named Alex. He was a great young man who was very eager to help.

I had an 8:30 appointment to get my car serviced. I arrived on time and was met by a women with an overwhelmed attitude. She supposedly checked me in. My car was parked in front of the office and I assumed all was well. As I sat in the customer lounge for 2 1/2 hours I discovered my keys inside my pocket and my car still left where I parked earlier that morning. I checked with that same service women and she told me my car was ready for pick up. Hmmm
.. I still had my keys and how is my car ready? She still had that overwhelmed look. Evidently she lied to me and I caught her lie and I was not happy. I decided after buying 3 cars from Sound and referring 3 other family members , they are just tired of my business. I end up leaving without my car serviced and contacting another dealership who happily secured my car with a smile.

All excellent: Briana, the internet contact, Cesar, who showed me all around the car and there from beginning to end, ...Bill handled the actual buying and is brilliant too, very smart, very friendly and straight forward. Finally did the finance docs with Joseph and he was exceptional too.
All of the other staff were top as well.

Just bought a Ford Explorer from Sound Ford. Had an excellent experience with them. The sales person I dealt with was very upfront and honest, I felt no pressure and was able to test drive many models and really take my time to make the best decision for my family and budget. I will definitely buy from them in the future.

If you guys can't honor the price listed online, please don't waste people' time. Call in to buy the a f150 for the full asking price in cash, then they raised the price from 54,5k to 58k. LOL THE REASON FOR THAT IS because I'm paying by cash instead of financing. What a scam. Cash buyer please advoid this place. Don't waste your valuable time here.

Do yourself a favor and buy a vehicle from a dealership who actually cares about your business.
I called and emailed days in advance and set an appointment to view one specific vehicle on their lot. I advised them I'm making a 3 hour drive to their location to purchase this specific vehicle. After making this drive we arrive to be told someone had loaned the car to another customer and they had no specific date that the car would be back. They knew I was coming days in advance. I got no phone call at all I had to drive three hours and look them in the face to be told the car is magically not there. You knew for days I was coming and you don't have the decency to check you had the car and notify me it wasnt there. They basically stood there and told me they had no way to make it right and expected me to drop my money on whatever they had that was available. Despicable. Dishonest. There are NO excuses as to why I could not be notified at all up to the time of my appointment. Thankfully Evergreen Ford in Issaquah had the same vehicle exactly what we wanted and they knew exactly where it was and had it ready for us by the time we got there. Kelly Bader was amazing and took great care of us. Could not recommend Evergreen Ford enough for their integrity and for saving us another 6 hour round trip to come back and search for this vehicle. Shame on you Sound Ford you really need to figure out how to do business.

I called about a 2 year old "new" car and asked for how much they would sell it. They would not give me a price but asked me to make an offer. I priced the car on both NADA and KBB and made an offer in the middle of those two price ranges. They did not accept my 1st offer and asked me to make another, so I requested a price from them. They then priced the car not only higher than it was listed on their website but also $10,000 - $14,000 (about 25-35%) more than NADA or KBB. If you are looking for a fair deal and reasonable people, do not call them.

Their service department is really efficient. They have got my oil change done in less then 30 minutes. Good job team Sound Ford

My wife and I purchased a 2018 Fusion from sound this evening and could not be any happier with the experience. Kwok, one of the sales managers, worked diligently to ensure we left the dealership pleased. We knew what we wanted, and what we wanted to pay and they worked to get us there. Joe in finance was also great. He was patient, friendly, and knowledgeable. When it came time for the worst part of buying a car(paperwork) Joe made it very quick and painless. I highly recommend giving Sound Ford an opportunity to earn your business.

I am a middle aged woman that bought a 2015 mustang. I had a great experience from beginning to end with Sound Ford in Renton. I initially found the car in the color I wanted on their website and sent a message to the dealership of my interest. I was called by Dane within 5 minutes to talk about arranging an appointment to come to the dealership the next day to drive the car. No pressure, just helpful. Okay....I am a single woman going to a car dealership with lots of apprehension about a hard sell. This was NOT my experience. I found Dane to be cordial and informational.....not at all like a stereotypical car salesman. I didn't feel any ageism or sexism from any of the staff, most importantly, Dane. The financing was seamless even though my credit is not perfection. I went by today at lunch to ask for help with troubleshooting the use of Sirius radio with the media system in the car with my Samsung Galaxy phone. Everyone was helpful, from management to Dane. We scheduled my first service appointment and they will call me to coordinate the date and time. I am comfortable when I come in to ask a question and everyone is kind, funny and respectful. What more can a girl ask for? I would highly recommend Sound Ford in Renton. Ask for Dane.....he is the best! :-)

I got a car that I wanted. No pressure to buy something I didn't want. Fast...procedure..with some wait, but thats normal and better for the buyer to get a better interest rate. I told them the truck I wanted and the car payment and I received both. I will be referring my friends and family.

Went to sound ford to look at a 2016 ford focus st. Mike was extremely helpful and understanding of my situation. He was able to give me a great deal on the car and I couldn't be happier. I purchased a used vehicle from Sound Ford after looking for some time for the right car, color and mileage combination. I found the team to be helpful, informative and courteous. The vehicle needed some bodywork which they agreed to do as part of the price I had negotiated. I took a test drive with product specialist Jay and he was professional and informative throughout my dealings with the dealership and made sure that ever question was addressed. When I came to pick up the vehicle, Jay was there again to help with some other question I had with the service and parts division. The bodywork was completed to an excellent standard and the car detailed as we had agreed. Would highly recommend Jay and the team.

Absolutely ridiculous service. Drove 45 minutes to look at a truck they said they had an hour prior only to find it was gone. They then offered a truck $7000 more. Pathetic sales bait and all they give was a sorry . I m now sitting in traffic going home which will take me another hour and a half.

I searched cars on TrueCars and received guaranteed pricing with Sound Ford. We went in and the car we wanted, Thomas Nabu said was sold. We asked if there was another one and as he was finding out, which was no, we found the other car listed on the certificate. They did not give the guaranteed price and tried to say there was only a $1000 rebate when we had already gone to look at another dealer and they said the rebate was $2500. So basically, the dealer does not honor the pricing and bates you to come in. Do not trust TrueCars and the advertised price by the dealer. It is basically a trap.
We did purchase the car because by daughter wanted, but will I go back to this dealer again? NO!!

Have purchased 8 vehicles from Sound Ford over the last 16 years, and referred many friends and family. You just can't go wrong here!!! Just got my new Fusion Hybrid 3 days ago, and averaging 47 MPG, over the last 200 miles! just love it! Thank you Sound Ford!

This review is specifically for the recent visit to have some planned maintenance performed, but is representative of our experience at Sound Ford. We purchased a new 2012 Escape from SF. The sales process went well, and we've no complaints. Several months later, we moved from a large suburban house to a high-rise downtown apartment. I no longer have a place to work on cars, so I'm now reliant on others. Except for a couple of oil changes, I've had all my work done by the SF shop. In my many visits, there have been only two minor glitches, and both were fixed quickly and enthusiastically. SF REALLY wants the customers to be satisfied. They have some economic incentives, but I feel that they genuinely want me to be happy. I like that!

The service writer Randy has been especially helpful, during our Escape's five years. In my most recent visit, I requested that complete brake jobs be performed on both axles, along with other preventative maintenance. Randy approached me in the waiting room to say that the rear brakes still had 40% life remaining, and recommended against replacement. That saved me some significant dollars. With no place to work on my cars, I have no way to determine my actual maintenance needs.

BTW, at the 5-year point in our Escape's life, it was time to have the braking system flushed and the fluid replaced. That's not on any maintenance schedule that I've seen, but is cheap insurance, based on my experience with other vehicles.

While I would like to have work done at a closer facility (we live in downtown Seattle), and would like to use an independent shop, I've seen no reason to change from SF, where I've had good experiences. Their shop rates are reasonable for this area. They also are able to track service bulletins, and see my status reports when I upload them through SYNC.

Lucas was one of the product specialists I worked with. Talented individual. He cared for me. He provided me a lot of useful information so I could decided wisely on which car to buy based on my budget and needs. If you ever stop by this dealership and need to talk to a well-rounded individual, ask for LUCAS.

Chris Hooten-Smith was a great guy, he was very helpful with buying my very first car. He helped me understand all the details from the car warranty to the rebates. He was funny and made this an easy process, I went into this thinking it would be a much bigger hassle. He even brought us fresh warm cookies while going through different rebates and set up the Bluetooth in my car! I will be referring all my friends!

Their customer serving team is so amazing, especially team member James Adams helps me a lot and follow up so very informing about the Mustang, and Eric Kallberg and Joe Seppen helps a lot on my financing.

We recently purchased a 2012 Ford Explorer XLT. Ben was our salesman and made the whole process very pleasant. We will definitely go back to Ben for our next car purchase and also will let our friends and family know how great our experience was.

I went to this dealership a few days ago. I was aware that they had some Titanium Ford Focus in stock. John Potts immediately noticed my mom and I looking around, mostly at the pretty car colors and such and led us through to the focus section.

Ended up walking away with what I wanted in a very timely manner! Friendly staff and very knowledgeable about what they re selling!

This was a great vehicle but their finance people pushed hard to sell a 100.000 mile Maintenance plan. When we hit 92K miles we took it for a maintenance and they said because we didn't drive 100K in their allotted time the contract was expired. Keep in mind they don't tell you any of that when you buy it, buyer beware, 100K plan isn't really 100K, misleading!

I have been using Sound Ford Service since 2011 and have had such a great experience! Travis, Andy & team have always taken great care of my Fiesta. They are thorough, quick and friendly every time I come in whether its for an oil change, break replacement, etc. Thank you all for everything!

Sound Ford helped make things right after a bad first impression. I went in for a service and felt like I'd been a little taken advantage of. However Travis saw this review and was genuinely interested in helping make it right. I had not received a quote on the services I was receiving and felt as though I'd been sneakily sold extra services I didn't need.

After telling him about my experience he agreed that something had gone wrong for me and he assured me that this was not the normal process for them. This was exactly what I wanted to hear, everyone has off-days and seeing a company work to stand by their products is worth as much as the actual product.

We came to an agreement that we both felt was fair and I came out okay in the end. Travis and the service department are willing to work for you so you feel like you got above average service and your car was taken care of. Would definitely be willing to go back.

Arrived at the dealer late on a Friday night, looking for a used car that I had seen on the internet. I didn't see it on the lot so I went in . Was approached by Raj, who was extremely helpful. He found the car and come to find out it was brand new not used. The price was too good to be true, kept waiting for the catch. I ended up trading in my car and driving the 2015 Ford Flex home that night. Raj and Sound Ford made an amazing, no pressure buying experience! I love my new car! Would recommend Sound Ford for your next purchase.

Had a happy experience at Sound Ford (I leased my car from them mid-June). Tracy & AJ were very helpful and stuck by the terms discussed via email & phone conversations.

Service was outstanding! Went in looking around for a first car and the salesman Alex Tachiyama was a great help! He clearly knows what he's selling and made it very easy to understand to someone who knows little to nothing about car details. Recommended 10/10!

I came here because I know that Sound Ford has the best service department, which sounds strange, but that's the most important long-term relationship when you buy a vehicle. All the "front of the house" staff was welcoming and friendly. Eric was an awesome, no-pressure sales guy who was more interested in educating us and finding the right fit for our situation than trying to quickly sell the first car we drove. Great experience all the way around!

There does not seem to be a voicemail box, as I left the phone ringing for 2-3 minutes. I can revise this review, but at the moment my experience has been fairly negative.

Our buying experience at Sound Ford in Renton was outstanding. I was very impressed by the entire Sound Ford team there. They were extremely knowledgeable and very professional. I located my car listed on the Sound Ford website and after exchanging a few phone calls with the professionals at Sound Ford, my family and I made the trek from Bremerton to Renton, about a 1 and 1/2 hour drive and met Johnny Helland. He welcomed us to Sound Ford and immediately introduced us to Alex Tachiyama who showed us the car in great detail, answering all our questions. Buying the car was the easiest part since the advertised internet price was exactly what we paid. My sincere gratitude is extended to Nabu Thomas who patiently walked us through the paperwork, he was extremely courteous and was able to ensure we had everything completed correctly and to our satisfaction. After our paperwork was completed we were greeted by James Adams. He was responsible for making sure our car was detailed and had a full tank of gas, an awesome task on such short notice. I also want you know how dedicated Marilyn Malnack has been. She is currently working to ensure everything about our car is perfect. I'm looking forward to getting to know more about my car and learning how all it's electronic gadgets actually work.

So this is an update review last time my experience wasn't Great but Paul today change the experience and he was professional polite respectful and really helpful Sound Ford needs more people like Paul!!

I was looking for a very specific type of car, and I found one listed on CARFAX- a 2011 Honda Fit. I called ahead and asked about the car, and they told me they still had it and to come down and test drive it. I drove 45 minutes to get there in traffic, not a long way, but still a chunk of time, and when I got there they told me they sold the car and no longer had it. I was upset and ready to leave, but they saw me going and latched on like piranhas to try and get a sale. They asked me about my price range and assured me they could find me the car I was looking for, but I knew they didn t have anything in my price range and make that I wanted (I was looking for the Asian makers- Honda, Toyota, Hyundai, Nissan, etc). I should have just said no thank you and left, but they insisted that they had something for me. They ended up showing me a Toyota Corolla that was $2K over my price point and honestly wasn t in that great condition (there were problems with the braking and scratches on the outside). When I returned from the test drive, they talked to me about financing, and gave me a long lecture about how I couldn t afford the monthly payments for the car (no kidding- you showed me one over my price point!). Later that week, I saw a newer Corolla in much better condition, with 40K less miles, for the same price, so they re up selling at least this car, if not other ones. And on top of it all, THEY WON T STOP CALLING ME. They call me on a daily basis, and if I let it go to voicemail they ll call back without leaving a voicemail. I ve asked them to stop calling me several times, and they still do. Yesterday I asked to speak to the manager and told them to stop calling, and they called again. Worst dealership experience ever. Never again!

The employees were 1st class! They walked to me through the entire buying process and I felt the information they provided was honest and fair. I will certainly recommend Sound ford to all my friends and associates.

Terrible Bait and Switch.

Would not give me my key back on my trade in, I had to ask 3 different times and then walked into the managers office myself to get it.

Called ahead (from 3 hours away) to confirm rebate eligibility and price and was LIED too. No way around it. I had every intention of buying the truck but the horrible experience made me walk away after 3 hours in the store. I was so disappointed with the people I paid a little more for the vehicle somewhere else and was ok with wasting 9 hours of my day.

My wife, the most optimistic person in the world, had a piece of her die that day as her eyes were opened to the worst salesman tactics ever.

Shame on you Sound Ford, I will be filing a formal complaint with the Better Business Bureau.

The managers Eric and Brian team up on you to change the advertised website ad. They then tell you to shop somewhere else when you show them a screen shot of the ad. Sad bait and switch tactics. Don t shop here.

I had a great experience working with Cesar and Mike to purchase a newer used Subaru Outback they had available. They were courteous, professional, and provided great service all around!

Worst experience I've ever had. Joe was an uncomfortably pushy salesman, we tried multiple times to leave and every time we tried he would keep trying to get us to sign, we ended up spending at least two hours there when all we wanted to do was look at one particular vehicle. We asked several times if we could sit and talk amongst ourselves without Joe sitting there and each time he would stand about 10-15 feet away just staring at us while we discussed our options and budget. When we tried to leave, he chased us down and stood next to our car STILL trying to convince us to sign. We felt SO uncomfortable. Within the next two weeks we got several phone calls and texts from Joe asking if we want to sign (we never said we wanted to sign in the first place, we were only there to look). Worst car dealership experience i've ever had, would never recommend this dealership to anyone unless you love feeling uncomfortable pressure!
