Purchased a 2016 Ford Expedition with Sound Ford. Honestly, one of the best car buying experiences. As with any car dealership, it's a business and if you are serious about buying a car, truck or suv. I highly recommend sound ford.

As for the buying experience, once we negotiated a fair deal. The paperwork process from start to finish was 42 minutes.

As for customer service, the car wasn't ready when I went to pick it up. I live 60 miles from sound ford. They apologized and asked if I would like it delivered to my house the next day. Not only did they deliver it to my house. The Ford Specialist spend about 30 minutes with my wife and I going through all the setting and explaining the vehicle.

First Class service all around. Highly Recommended!! Great job to Becca, Ken, Mike and Bill.

We bought a new Ford Explorer at Sound Ford. They had the vehicle we wanted on their website and the price was right. So we drove down to take a look and made a purchase. The sales staff was very easy to deal with and we didn't spend all day there to do the deal. I would recommend this dealer to friends and family. We have had the Explorer now for a little while and it is a great vehicle.

I have heard the shady reputation that Sound Ford has but I am not one to pass judgment before I have my own experiences and let me tell you they lived up to that shady reputation very well. Lie one they told me was that they had the exact truck I wanted just in a different color so I could test drive it until they found me one with the color I wanted. I get to sound ford and guess what, ohhhhh they don't have the truck the salesman was mistaken ( I would of let this one go people make mistakes). Lie two the truck I wanted was a Bickford Ford but all the way in Snohomish, I live in Tacoma. Sound Ford told me they could get me the truck that was at Bickford Ford. I was there for about 3 hours going over numbers on my trade, financing, and cost of the truck. Finally we came to an agreement on everything and they pulled my very good credit and had me sign papers for the truck, I was so excited to get my truck it was the week of my birthday and it was a birthday present to myself. Now this is it gets good and lie number two comes in so after all the time I spend there the following day I get a call from the Asian sales manager there the SHADEY ONE telling me that they can not get the truck anymore that Bickford Ford SOLD THE TRUCK. So I called Bickford Ford about the truck they told me that they had received a phone call from sound ford about doing a dealer trade with the truck but sound ford did not have anything they wanted to trade them and they don't know why they sold me a truck that was in there inventory and never belonged to them. So I try and call the SHADY ASIAN SALES MANANGER back twice and leave messages and guess what now its 4 days later and no call back guess I will just go in there myself and express if front of everyone my experiences and what he has to say about it, see you soon sound ford;)

Excellent place to buy a car! The customer service I received was exceptional. They took the time to answer all of my questions and ultimately sold me a new car at a price that was within my budget. Thanks Sound Ford!

This was the worst experience I have ever had. The way I was treated after trying to purchase a vehicle at this dealership by the owner and the other staff members was totally unprofessional. If you have to buy a car and you have less than perfect credit or no credit find another dealership. Do not go to Sound Ford in Renton, WA. They are scam artist and if you feel like you have been scammed by them then please make sure you do something about it. I had to contact the Attorney Generals Office and file a complaint also the BBB, and also had to contact my Attorney before they would cooperate with me. Do not do business with SOUND FORD RENTON WASHINGTON. THEY ARE HORRIBLE I CANT BELIEVE A CLASS ACTION LAWSUIT HASN'T BEEN FILED YET FOR TRYING TO RIP PEOPLE OFF.

I WAS INSULTED BECAUSE THE ATTITUDE I WAS GETTING WAS THE CUSTOMER IS TO PAY FOR THEIR MISTAKE. MORE THAN 2 WEEKS LATER I AM STILL TRYING TO HAVE SOUND FORD MAKE IT RIGHT. I HAVE PURCHASED 4 VEHICLES FROM SOUND FORD SINCE 1999, ALL OF THEM FROM THEIR ADVERTISED PRICE. EACH ONE WAS DECEPTIVE IN THEIR AD, WHICH MENT THEY DID NOT SELL ME THE VEHICLE WITH WHAT WAS ADVERTISED. IN THE PAST SOUND FORD SOMEHOW MADE IT RIGHT! SOUND FORD SEEMS TO CONTINUES THIS PRACTICE AND THEN CLAIM SOMEONE ELSE IS REPONSIBLE FOR THE ERROR. THE SAME DAY I PURCHASED MY TRUCK IT WAS PULLED FROM THEIR AD. BUT ONE WEEK LATER THE NEW SOUND FORD ADVERTISEMENT LISTED MY VIN NUMBER ON AD. THE PROBLEM IS THEY ARE ADVERTISING A TRUCK FOR SALE THAT IS NOT AVAILABLE. I WAS TOLD BY GM ADAM LARSON THAT HE DOES NOT HAVE TIME FOR ME. I WAS OFFERED MORE MONEY TO GIVE A 100% REVIEW BY (QUAN?) THEN THEY STARTED PLAYING GAMES WITH ME SAYING I WOULD NOT RECEIVE MONEY UNTIL REVIEW IS COMPLETE ON THE GOOGLE REVIEW AND FORDS SURVEY. TODAY I TALKED TO ADAM LARSON AND HE TOLD ME THE MORE I TALK THE MORE I WILL GET NOTHING. ADAM DID SAY THAT (QUAN?) SHOULD HAVE NOT BRIBED ME AND THAT ANY EXTRA MONEY WILL NOT HAPPEN. I have been to this dealership more then 3 times to collect the difference only to be played with and insulted. If you or anyone else has the same problem you should contact the Washington State Attorney General's office, and the Better Business Bureau.

We went in looking to trade our car for something new. It has been 7 years since our last purchase and we were expecting a normal car buying experience. This time around, our salesman Jerry was fantastic. He gave us a no pressure approach to the experience. We were able to test drive any car on the lot and and given comparisons between the different options and models, as well as what was on the lot as opposed to what we could order.

Once we were set on the vehicle we wanted Dave came out and worked the numbers for us. Again there was no pressure to buy and he worked well negotiating.

We walked away with a new Ford Fusion and liked the service so much, we went back a few days later and picked up a Ford Escape.

All in all a great experience that I would recommend to anyone looking for a great deal.

We started our buying experience with Rakesh, and a bit of a problem. At least, it was from my perspective, because I didn't know any better. We were a year into a lease for a car I wasn't happy with, and my wife wanted something bigger for our family.

Rakesh sat us down and talked out the problem with us. He helped us understand the residual value left over on the lease, and how that would affect the overall loan should we decide to buy our Edge. We told him exactly what we wanted, and Rakesh searched the regional inventory and was able to find our exact Edge right away. The best part was that we were able to take a demo Edge out for the weekend while the car we bought was brought to the dealership!

I was also very impressed with the amount of time it took, from start to finish, to complete our purchase. I've been at dealerships for FIVE HOURS when buying a new car. Rakesh had us over to Nabu at finance within a hour of our choosing the car we wanted, and we were finished with our purchase, and back home with the demo Edge, within another hour. Rakesh even offered to give us a significant discount on all-weather floor mats and cargo deck liner; a MUST during the rainy season in King County!

All in all, a very good buying experience. The best part? Now I don't have to worry about returning a leased vehicle!

A couple weeks back I purchased a new Ford Fusion from Sound Ford, and James Adams was my point of contact for the test drive and purchase. I appreciated his open, honest, and very low pressure approach to our interactions, and he has followed a couple of times to make sure I am happy with how everything is going with my new car.

James was very knowledgeable about the car, and was very helpful in showing me how to operate some of the on-board electronics that were new to me.

He also helped me locate some good pricing on floor mats and splash guards that are nice accessories to protect my investment.

If you're looking to purchase a car, I would recommend talking with James Adams.

We were greeded by Amber and she introduced us to her sales manager Dave. He was very polite and professional. He let us know how Sound Ford does business different and let us know we had no worries of high pressure commissioned sales people and we both had a sigh of relief. First experience buying a new car. I asked over ten dealerships for quotes on the car I wanted, and Sound came back with a slightly different options on the car, but the price was unbeatable. Purchase process was very straight forward, and after raising the point that the monthly cost was right at the top end of my budget, the finance guy found a different creditor and now my monthly payments are easily within my price range. Good experience overall. If anything could be improved it'd be communication between sales floor and management. I placed a hold on the car but there seemed to be some confusion on the fact among staff.

I brought my truck in for some recall service work. I was told that it would be 1 to 2 hours so I went and got some lunch. When I returned about 1 1/2 hours later I was told that it would be at least 2 more hours. They hadn't even started on it yet. I told Anthony that I didn't have that much time as I had a meeting to attend. He returned the keys with no explanation or apology. Very rude and disrespectful of others time.

I did receive a call from the Manager and he was very apologetic and corrected the problem in a timely manner. I want to thank him publically for resolving the issue. Thank you very much!

This dealership and it's staff were extremely friendly. Ben, our sales person, was very knowledgeable about the different vehicles. I hadn't made up my mind on what vehicle to purchase but he helped narrow it down for me and made sure I got all the features that were necessary. I never felt strong armed towards at all during the entire sales process. The finance manager was also great. He fought to get me the best interest rate possible which actually helped lower my payment from what I was originally quoted. Overall, whether you are buying new or used, I would recommend Sound Ford and Ben to anyone.

Sales manager and salesman (Mike Berry) were exceptionally professional and knowledgeable. Unlike most car dealerships, there was no gaming or b.s. The selection of vehicles in which I was interested--Ford F-150s--was substantial and covered most, if not all of the F-150s variations Ford makes. The salesman was willing to negotiate price and options and did so in a highly professional manner.

Sound's facility is clean and attractive. The sale closing was very well organized and efficient. It was completed in less than 15 minutes.

I was looking for a basic used Transit van and found a well priced one online. I communicated via email with a salesperson about this vehicle and he said it was available. Two days later i had time to travel there and planned to buy it. I called before I left Seattle to make sure it was still there. I was told that the salesman was off, but they would check and let me know via text. I received the text that the vehicle was available and they made an appointment time for me to come in. We left in a rain storm on a very busy day at our business, in order to purchase this one before year end. On arrival, the Sales Manager knew we had an appointment and first we were given the sales talk on how folks come from everywhere to buy cars there, etc. We told him which specific van we were interested in again, and the advertised price. It was a long time until he came back and said it was not available and claimed that it had been sold the night before, and offered to show us other vans at $4-5K more. I could not believe that an hour earlier I had verified that it was there. After reading online reviews from past employees and others, it confirmed that this dealership advertises vehicles at lower prices to get folks in and then the vehicle does not not exist when we arrive. There was no offer to find a vehicle similar at other dealerships even though I asked. I really felt like the treatment I received was planned and no one seemed to care. We left after wasting time there including travel time. The next day the salesman called and I explained the bait and switch tactic to him. I asked him to look for other vehicles or check on the "sale" the night before, but he never called back, as he claimed he would. After reviewing online reviews afterwords, I see there are many others who have had the exact same experience- well priced vehicles advertised and then suddenly they are not available, and offers to look at more expensive vehicles on arrival. They need to stop this and be honest with customers and treat us with respect. We do our research and are ready to buy, and do not need to be treated like this. It has been 12 days now and I have still not heard back, and have purchased a similar vehicle elsewhere for about $1300 more. I would not recommend this dealership.

Be aware of the service department. I had an oil change on July 25, 2017, and returned on August 1 for a power steering flush as it was recommended during the oil change.

Since then, my Ford Taurus has leaked oil every time the engine was turned on. There was also smoke coming out of the hood along with a nasty smell.

Being a female who knows next to nothing about automobiles, I was a bit concerned but did nothing because the car still run. Until yesterday, 10/8, a beep and indicator light came on while I was driving. It told me that the engine oil pressure was low. This kept repeating numerous times.

I checked the oil level and discovered that there was no oil at all. I ran to Autozone, purchased 5 quarts of 5W20. After I poured 4 quarts in, the dipstick barely showed the oil level at maximum.

I turned the engine on, looked underneath the car, and saw oil dripping down as if a faucet has been turned on. Needless to say, I was panic.

First thing on Monday morning, 10/9, I drove to a local auto repair shop. The mechanic took a look and told me that the slug (or nut or whatever that keeps the oil in) was not tightly secured. Therefore, all he did was, of course, tightened it and the problem is solved.

I would be a fool to take my car back to Soundford in Renton for service again, not to mention purchase another car there.

If this was a careless mistake, I would question the mechanic's competence. I would not want him to work on my car again ever.

If this was a deliberate attempt to get me return for a repair, it apparently has backfired.

Walked around the lot looking at trucks for 30 minutes before someone came out to help. Other customers were helped within minutes, but since they saw I was a kid in my mid twenties they didn't want to help. When asking the salesman about the F150 Raptor, he implied that I wouldn't be able to afford it and refused to let me test drive it without a credit check. I was offended and had every intention buying my truck here, but bought it from Scarrfs Ford in Auburn the same night. That salesman missed out on a $70k sale and didn't realize I would be able to buy it

It was horrible! First the guy who was driving with us in the car was so busy on his cell phone he didn't show us any feature on any of the cars. I Gus's the college football was more important. Then when I took home the car I was buying I notice soda pop spilt all over the back seat so I took it back and complained to the general manager and he agreed that the car needed to be detailed so I made a spot to drop off my car. During the day I got a phone call asking me when I was going to come back in and buy a car. I said I already bought the car and it is with you guys right now getting detailed. He said oh what did you buy? I told him and hung up. You have got to be kidding. This was the same guy who was looking on the computer to find me the type of car I wanted. OMG then I went to pick up the car and it had not been done. Are you kidding they had my car all day. So I asked to talk to the manager on duty. He came out are tried to say the car looked good and I said really. It's dirty and slid my hand across the door and showed all the back dirt on my hand. His response was we really don't have to do anything to a used car. I thought OK I am not going to go off on this stupid ass. I said what can you do to make this right.he said we can rewash it. OMG I was beyond pissed. I agreed to come back just so I could get out of there. I bought a dirty car from this disorganized dealer. I would never ever send or recommend this dealer ship in renton at all. I would go back to the Bellevue Ford when we bought are first used car and it was clean and we got a manual so we could understand our new used car. Sound Ford in Rent is the worst and now I have to pay to get it detailed. Bad customer service. Never again!!!

I didn't actually buy a car from this dealership but nonetheless I had a great experience dealing with them. I ran out of gas right outside their lot. While I was away getting gas my battery died because I accidentally left the lights on. I went over to the dealership and ended up talking to a young man named Vu. I believe he goes by Tony. I explained my situation and he said to hold on while he finished his task and he would look for a portable jump box. Which he did. He then came out to the car and gave me the jump start I needed to my friend and I back on the road. If that's how they treat their non customers I can only imagine the great service they give folks who buy a car. Thanks again Vu!

Poor customer service, they have lost my business ...

Poor customer service, they have lost my business indefinitely. I have regularly gone to Sound Ford for oil changes. I have always gotten The Works package, which includes a multipoint inspection. My battery died the other day, and there was no indication from Sound Ford on my most recent inspection (less than 3 months ago) that the battery health was depreciated and would need to be looked at. Most auto service places give you a Cold Crank amperage rating of the battery at time of inspection, and this place doesn t do that. I bought a replacement battery from the store and called Sound a Ford to ask if they would switch out the batteries for free (a simple 10 minute task), and they told me they wouldn t be able to get my car in for an appointment for 5 days. Additionally, they would charge for this service when it was definitely their fault that this happened. Ridiculous.

This was however the 1st time I leased a car and the process was quick and the terms were explained to me thoroughly. Kwok was my sales person was extremely professional and took his time to ensure the car I chose was what I wanted. All in all another great experience with Sound Ford. The General Manager, Adam even came and thanked me personally for purchasing a car from them - now that is great service!

I had a great sales and support experience for my 2016 F-150 and chose them after dealing with a half dozen dealerships in the Seattle area. I lived far away and could not make it down to the dealership until I found the truck I wanted, but the Internet Sales team did not have a problem with that at all. They found the truck I wanted and negotiated quickly to come to a mutually beneficial agreement.
The two team members that I dealt with were stellar, owner and Internet Sales Manager.

I am a devoted Ford owner! For over 30 years I have gone to Sound Ford for my service and sales needs. Yes occasionally you will get the one person that is less than adequate for assistance, that being said just ask for another person or the supervisor of that department, simple as that!
I have been very pleased with the service that I get. The service and sales departments have always gone the extra mile for me. Bottom line when the service is great the sales will be greater.

I contacted this dealer while shopping for a new Ford Focus. The salesman that I encountered was very rude, disrepectful and was not able to answer my questions about 2 cars I was interested in. In January I took my 2012 Ford Explorer to this dealership, it needed some repairs to the interior, due to some animal damaged. After over two weeks on the service department, I had my insurance towed the truck out there, because nothing was done to the car, and they ordered the wrong parts, it's a ford suv on the service department of a ford dealership, and they still ordered the wrong parts. I do not know how the sales department is, since I did not got my ford there, but stay away from the service department, very rude and unprofessional people, from the person that answers the phone to the service department manager, he name is Randy.
