The purchase of my car seemed to be a great experience. Mike Halliday was the sales person. We met with him he seemed pleasant and seemed to really care about the customer. Unfortunately after you buy the car he completely changes. I called to ask about some fees and he said why are you buggin about 75.00 . I just wanted a simple breakdown on additional fees clearly he doesn t care about customers Rosa the finance manger is amazing she is kind and genuine. She is a true gem and asset to this dealership. It s sad that the salesman Mike Halliday ruined the whole experience and at this point I wouldn t recommend this place to anyone. All because I wanted to know what I was being charged for. Then mike proceeded to tell me that if I don t like talk to his manager and hung up on me. This is not the way you treat a customer who just bought a brand new car. I guess this dealership does anything for a sale then not even an hour after you buy the car they treat you like dirt. This salesman was completely disrespectful and I m offended by the treatment I was given. I gave it 2 stars becasue of Rosa and that s it. DONT USE THIS DEALERSHIP GO SOMEWHERE ELSE. this salesman ruined the entire positive experiment we had in the beginning
I figured that make a review regarding the service department at Kia of Smithtown. I purchased my vehicle from Smithtown Kia a few years ago and have no complaints on the actual vehicle itself; from sales to receiving the keys, Kia is an outstanding product with wonderful warrantees and assurances of customer satisfaction on the car. My issue boils down to the guest experience and lack of accommodations, hence the review of SMITHTOWN KIA itself. Following the first free year of check ups, its as if repairs on my vehicle have increased, which is understandable to upkeep a multi-component good. I went from being a quick hour in the shop in repairs to having the simplest of tasks end up in a big expense and doubling, even tripling my time in the shop. It s unacceptable that an original purpose of my recent visit being an inspection and it resulting in a 4 hour expedition to meet various criteria to complete inspection. Whoever is supervising the inventory in the service department, from rental cars to parts, needs to be reevaluated. Today, the expected service for an inspection went from about an hour to 3-4 hours maybe, and when I asked if there are rental vehicles available as I have to go back to work, I was informed that SMITHTOWN KIA HAD NO VEHICLES AVAILABLE TO BE DRIVEN. I m not sure if this is COVID procedure, however, if the dealership feels comfortable selling preowned vehicles, they have every capability of having a rental vehicle available. In addition, I had to get a new tire in order to pass inspection, however, the service department failed to have the equipment on site: my tire is not rare as there are countless other Kia models with low-profile tires that exist on the shop, thus there should be adequate supplies to keep things moving. I was told by another customer waiting that he too was waiting for a tire and that the transport of the tire was disrupted by a car accident, ruining not just my day. Lastly, though these issues may not seem like a big deal, I was flabbergasted by the fact that I was being swayed by both the service clerk and cashier to complete a perfect service review in hopes of being raffled into a chance to win a Yeti cooler. Awesome, so basically I was asked to be silenced on the poor service and allow poor experience to continue and in return, I d receive a Yeti cooler. I was not compensated for the fact that my entire day was basically ripped from me, and I will complete an honest survey following the posting of this review as I do not care for a Yeti cooler. As a customer of Smithtown Kia, I demand better service. In addition, the integrity of customer surveys have now been jeopardized as well. How can I trust that Kia will be capable of listening to the surveys if they are attempting to skew the results? I don t want a yeti cooler, I want my hours at my job taken back that were robbed from poor service in the service department, nor should I be blinded to terrible policies and corrupt assessment of this department, or at least some type of acknowledgement and mediation to the situation at the time, but I guarantee that this is a whole new issue that the head of service may not be aware of due to the skewed results of the survey.
I had a salesman that knew nothing about the kia soul i bought.. He thought my back window washer was a back up camera.. And kia advertised you receive a big screen tv with a purchase, and i didnt receive anything.. Will be the last time i biy from them and i wont recommend anyone to them.. Worst.
After signing a lease agreement with Smithtown Kia there were problems with Kia Finance. They were looking to collect 1500 in early termination fees. Even though the lease was paid in full and I entered a new lease with Kia Finace. Without Lenny ( GM ) and Greg's ( Floor manager) intervention this may have been long battle for me with Kia Finance!!!. Lenny personally got involved with Kia Corporate and solved the problem.

Our sales person Anthony was very nice, but the wait for financing was very very long. When we finally met with a finance person ( Gerard) he was extremely rude and has no personality to be dealing with people. If possible if you but a Kia from them avoid Gerard for financing. How Kia can keep someone with Gerard's attidtude in their employ is beyond me.
Excellent experience. Will definitely be a returning customer. Gerard Rennie is the most pleasant salesperson I have ever worked with. Professional, never pressuring or demanding, and very accommodating. This is my third Kia lease, my first with Smithtown. I will definitely be returning to them in three years when I need to do my lease return. We walked out with exactly what we wanted and some..... There was no comparison between the dealer we used previously and Smithtown - far exceeded my expectations, where the old dealer truly disappointed. From the moment we first walked into the showroom we never felt pressured. We were greeted by a very pleasant receptionist (sorry I forgot her name) and then saw the Sales Manager Charlie who was also very pleasant and set us up with Gerard. Everything was explained to us from the operation and features of the vehicle to the lease information, servicing of the vehicle, etc. Gerard - you will be getting my recommendation to everyone I know. My vehicle was serviced in the time it said it would be but the person checking out my paperwork talked to a customer for 20 min about kayaks and food then took someone else that walked in after me.
I went in to have my car serviced and walked out wanting the 2018 model. After thinking about it I decided to trade mine in and get the 2018 Sportage. Everyone @ Smithtown Kia was helpful, friendly and easy to work with. I wanted to specifically mention Cordell, Adam, Ken and Rosa. They were patient, friendly and fantastic to deal with. This is my 4th Kia and I wouldn't go to another dealer.
Reply to owner. When brakes are SCREECHING and all and all NOT stopping the car, they ARE NOT FINE. I honestly just don't think anyone bothered looking at them....
Bought a VW Jetta from them March 2017. Some small things wrong with the car like the windshield wiper fluid pump that they gave me a hard time about but eventually fixed. Big issue wrong with the car that was never fixed. the brakes.
I EXPLICITLY asked about the brakes prior to buying the car and was told that a brake check is part of the inspection and that they were good to go. However to me they always felt weak but I moved from an Audi to a VW so when I was told they were fine, I assumed it was an adjustment thing on my end. Any time I brought it in for other small things I asked them to take a look and I was still told they were fine. After the small things that I could diagnose myself were fixed I started bringing it to VW, and same thing... they also told me the brakes were fine. A year later the brakes started making a HORRID noise and were evidently not fine. I brought it to my trusted, non dealership mechanic and was told it looks like the brakes were in such bad shape that he'd guess they hadn't been looked at in years. fixed it. $1k later and it works almost like new. HOWEVER, there is still that 15% that still needs to be fixed.
Long story short. They really will lie through their teeth just to sell a car.
Ps: Also had to put $250 towards a new battery about 1 month after buying the car.
Pss. The mechanic who fixed the windshield wiper pump also insisted that they worked fine to try and avoid fixing it. Then had the audacity to ask me if I knew how to use them.... DO I KNOW HOW TO USE MY WINDSHIELD WIPERS!?!?!? What an unbelievably idiotic and insulting questions. Not only do I have it on video, but everyone and their grandmother could see that the fluid was barely making it 1/4 of the way up the windshield....

There was no funny business and the number that I was quoted was what I left the dealership paying. They were professional, informative and most importantly honest. I purchased a new 2019 sorento from them in mid-september. Car was only washed and not detailed. Even being washed, there were still dirt and grime on the car's grill, fog lights and under carriage. There were oil marks on the interior dashboard and seats. Discarded wrapping in the front glove compartment. BEWARE of the finance people. I waited three hours to sign paperwork. While I was waiting for them to sign the paperwork, I heard them stalling by having salesmen go in and talk about personal stuff. I have a credit score over 800 and was told the lowest rate they can give me was 5.4%! I ask for KIA's 0% finance option and was denied. Instead, I was told to go and get a loan somewhere else to pay off the high rate. The finance people do not have your best interest and will make buying a car from them very regrettable. Don't be afraid to walk away.

This was my first time buying a new car in about 10 years, and it was simple and painless. My wife and I had done research and decided we wanted to get a Kia Niro plug in hybrid. I called Smithtown Kia and easily made an appointment with Michael Halliday for the next day. Upon arrival, Michael, showed us all of the major features of the 2 models we were considering and took us out for a test drive. Purchasing paperwork was clearly explained and I didn't feel pressured at any step of the process. Overall, very happy with the quality of the service and the car we bought.

And when that deal was falling through, Rosa Walker, also very polite and informative, prevented us from making any rash decisions that would hurt us in the end. I walked into the dealership the salesman John Roy the salesman was excellent with me and did not pressure me to buy. He worked a great deal and how i wanted to get my purchase done. Driving out from Queens to Smithtown is a long trip. Gerard took great care of me in matching my loan offer and got me a better deal. The trade in was fair and reasonable. Thank you for making my experience a pleasant one and I will be shopping in the future.
We live out of state but have family that live in NY. We ended up purchasing a brand new vehicle here because it was convenient while we were visiting. They promised that the new Kia would have oil changes for free at this dealership and in our home state. Once we bought it and the first oil change rolled around, they would not honor their agreement. I spoke with Lenny Cafarelli on the phone (11/1/17). He said he would figure something out and get back in touch with me by the next day (11/2/17). I have called 5 times/ left messages and he is always out of the office or with a client. Today is 11/15/17 and I still have not heard anything. We will never purchase through this dealership again nor will any of my family because of the poor service.
EDIT 1/9/2018. Shortly after this review was written the general manager got in contact with me. They sent a check to cover the first years worth of oil changes. That was appreciated however, the amount of effort that I had to put in to get to that point was absurd, especially to get what was already promised. The GM was easy to deal with and got my issue taken care of promptly. I still would not recommend this dealership.

Service dept is a ripoff. Wants to charge 500 dollars to repair ac fan motor. Parts 55 dollars. Time to do job less than half an hour. Lied and said whole dash board had to be removed. Actual three screws to acess panel under glove box. 3 screws hold motor in place one electrical snap connector,
I came to get a car I didn't know the Kia car, but between here and they treated me as well as I was family. They treated me the best and most importantly they had someone who was Latino and spoke Spanish.
Smithtown Kia called today to congratulate me on my 1 year anniversary for the car I bought from them. I am currently getting my car towed for its millionth time. Don't trust these guys.

There was absolutely no pressure at all when purchasing a vehicle from Smithtown Kia. Rick was helpful every step of the way. Even though I had order my car, Rick and Greg kept looking to get me a car sooner from another dealer, as the car I ordered was going to take a while to get built. After they had found another car, the buying process was the easiest that I have ever dealt with. Jeff was able to get me through the paperwork without the "pushy salesperson" attitude. The insurance agent Greg T. took care of all the insurance paperwork and phone calls. He was also able to save me quite a bit of money from switching my auto and homeowners.
Leased my second Kia, and the end to end experience was fantastic. My sales person Tim Alicea was never pushy, positive attitude, knew his product, and was patient.
The manager I spoke with, Greg Carrion was very helpful and supportive too.

I ended up getting a Cadenza with the Technology package. Had no idea that model existed, less than a week driving the car, it is by far one of the nicest cars I have owned, both inside and out.
Had an excellent experience with the salesman Ray. Walked in with an idea of what I was looking for and he was able to find me the perfect car. Very patient and negotiated a great deal. Highly recommend him. Overall the full staff was very friendly.
If my car was priced @ roughly $10,600 & I put 3k down, my loan should not still be almost 14k. It's absolutely absurd to me that I went to pay my car in full for my first payment & they're telling me it's 3k over what they priced me @. I get the taxation & fees for the DMV, but it still doesn't make sense. To make matters worse, the bank they secured my loan with isn't even on long Island, it's in Jersey. I would have to drive nearly two hours to speak with a banker to pay off my loan & I was trying to avoid making a minimum payment each month & pay off my car right away (like I told Mike when he sold me the car), also I dealt with Gerard for the financial aspect, did he just forget to tell the bank that I put 3k down on the car? With what I already accepted as minor damage to the car (rust marks here & there & a dent the side of the door from a scratch, had to pay for a missing headrest, & to have them spray giant scratches on the front bumper that is still noticeable cause all the repair guy did was take a can of spray paint to it, if that's not noticeable, making me wait four hours for that), you'd think they'd go above & beyond to take care of me. I feel like I got ripped off from this place. I hope someone calls me back to explain this problem.
Update: Should have made it very clear that the warranty you were applying to my loan was 3500 extra. Especially when you did not allow me a test drive with the car. A warranty I didn't even need if I just going to pay my off myself, meaning I could pay for my repairs myself, if need be after driving it off the lot. It was like 45 minutes before closing that I secured this car & everyone was rushing around to begin with. The secretary was incredibly rude to me on the phone just now & insists that Mike called back last night & if he did, he should have left a message. Yes, Gerard, I DO feel like I was roped in & duped out of an extra 3500. It was a mistake doing this deal.
Update #2: Being arrogant & condescending to me in your business voice & just resending me copies of paperwork is not rectifying the situation, just so you know. Just because I'm some 20 something doesn't mean I was aware then just forgot. You don't know better than your customers always & I felt like I was pushed into an extra bill I didn't want nor deserve. Not to mention, two months in the car has no windshield wiper fluid (when you were inspecting the car, you couldn't spare windshield wiper fluid, that dealership could afford it, Gerard even mentioned as much when he said the dealership could afford to paint my entire bumper most likely instead of spray canning it, which the latter was done, shocker) & 20k miles under due for a brake pad change (I had this car before, the brake pads shouldn't be required to replace this early). Maybe offer a better deal with your used nonKia cars in the future, you charged me full resale value for something that wasn't entirely complete & wouldn't come down on the price. Still pissed.
Deanna, the client care representative, was awesome and saved me time from coming into the dealership. However, dealing with the sales rep Michael was horrendous and because of that experience I would say to avoid Smithtown Kia at ALL costs. Tried to sell me a Telluride well above MSRP and gave me a completely low ball offer. I went to another dealership the day before and they gave me sticker price pricing on a more expensive model, yet Smithtowns offer on a cheaper model was way more expensive. Horrible experience. What a shame.

Steven Pollina was my salesmen. He made buying a car less stressful and more enjoyable than any of my other purchases prior. This dealership gives what all other dealerships should offer, free lifetime oil changes, free lifetime inspections, free loaner car with service, free car washes with service and free courtesy pickup and drop off service. Plus the warranty can be adjusted to match the powertrain warranty 10 years or 100,000 miles. Bumper to bumper. Which I chose to do and I'm very satisfied with the deal that I received. I would definitely recommend this dealership to my friends and family. You definitely will not find service like this with any other local dealerships. I know, because every dealership I went to couldn't offer this lifetime service that Smithtown Kia is offering. Great sales pitch, andI purchased a 2020 Sportage from them. I'm very happy with this suv.
Eh Gerard was ok. Knew the cars but a lot of sketch towards the end of our agreement. They said they ran my credit score and actually didnt. Went for the new Forte S for 0 down sign and drive but they hit us with ridiculous tax and bank fees. He wanted us to make a deal so he could present it to his manager. I understand its a business but Nardy Honda blew me away with how easy and professional they were. Especially after the financial manager nat nardy honda showed me my REAL credit score. Not a good look for a dealer. The kia cars I test drove were decent compared to the hondas. No comparison.

How amazing is that?! Our seller was Tim Alicea who was a very kind and a easy going person to work with. There was no pressure when it came down to negotiating to the final price. We felt extremely welcome! Tim made it an overall positive, easy, experience and we highly recommend meeting with him for your next car! Typical car dealer, don't trust them. They told me to bring my current leased car (Kia optima) because they told me they could give me the lease termination fees. Drive an hour out of my way only for them to tell me after I got there, that they can't do that. Played with the price of the car like s puppy with a new ball. Probably won't go back.

Buying my car at Smithtown Kia was the most effortless car buying experience I have ever had. Johnny Hammel was responsive but not phony and proactive but not pushy. It is really nice to work with a genuine individual when buying a car for a change. The managers I worked with were also great during the process and did not freak out too much when I told them I had to check out Toyota to do my due diligence.
I literally came into the KIA dealership to cross it off my list and then take a look at Honda / Toyota and these guys made me into a believer. I love my car and am really happy with the deal / service and sales experience at Smithtown KIA.

He will answer any question you have and will even go out of his way to make your experience the best it can be at Smithtown Kia. Wow! Expected to pickup a nice new Kia today. But, no. Let's start from the beginning. 2 days ago, on Monday, my wife and I came to Kia looking for a three row SUV. We told the salesman our credits not good and we heard a lease is easier to get with bad credit. He brought out a a beautiful Sorento. He was great as a Salesman. He went in the back and came back to his desk with how much per month it will be. We signed the paperwork gave a down payment and he told us to get the insurance and pick up the vehicle on Wednesday (today). We arrived today and are told by Finance department that our credit was too low. Of course our credit is low that's what we told the salesman on Monday. I would figure my credit should have been checked Monday. Now everything is set and I'm being told that I can't afford the vehicle I'm looking at? I've never heard of such practices at a car dealership. I've never defaulted on a loan and my last loan was more than what I would be paying for this vehicle per month. Unbelievable! Monday's experience was great, today was awful. Take the extra distance and go to Generation Kia in Bohemia. Well worth the trip, and they work with people with low credit. Response to owner: Lease, not loan. And it should have been checked Monday. We were open about our credit and it felt like we just got pulled in. We were beginning to think it wasn't a typical car dealership, but it is. What a way to treat a disabled person.
Bought a 2013 kia optima from ali usman. everything went smooth until they forgot to send my registration paper work to Albany. I went three months without a reg and got two parking tickets. They never return phone calls and do absolutely nothing to help. Be warned stay away
I had a great experience. After a stressful car shopping time and time again this was one of the more easy dealerships to deal with. Mike sit at the front desk as soon as you walk in knowledgeable will work with you. Can be aggressive but he will come down as price and work with meeting all your needs. Tony was the manager when I went definitely helped with adjust the price.
Well let me start off by saying that this dealership leaves alot to be desired. Walked in on a Saturday to find a Forte to be leased at a decent price. I'm not a fan of their business model of going back and forth with the man behind the curtain. But we got the price that was acceptable with some money down. I made certain to ask the salesman what were the additional fees to which his response was I don't know. Five days later when we went to pick up the car we had to wait close to an hour to speak with one of their finance managers . Well to our surprise the monthly lease price didn't change but the added fees and taxes were well into the 3400 dollar range. I should have walked out but for various reasons didn't. I've contacted their finance guy and emailed their GM regarding an additional cost . As of this review I have yet to be contacted.
I am editing this review . Since I've posted this I have been in touch with Lenny Cafarelli and we have come to a resolution.
I normally hate the car buying/leasing process, but had a good experience at this dealership. My husband and I walked in on a Sunday to test drive two cars. We worked with Jonathan who was friendly and polite. We came back on Monday evening to finalize everything and the staff even stayed past closing time so that we could leave with our new car that evening. Thank you Smithtown Kia for everything!
Adam Hernandez was knowledgeable and courteous. He listened to our needs and wants and stayed within our budget when speaking about different vehicles. He also was understanding to what we considered the ideal vehicle. We are extremely pleased with the entire Smithtown Kia staff and will gladly recommend this dealer to friends and family searching for a new car.
Great experience from the start. We originally were looking at a Telluride but decided to save some money and get a used vehicle instead. Sam was great on the test drive and showing us the Telluride and Paul was very helpful with the numbers. Scott helped get us into a used Jeep. Jeff in finance was super honest & I would recommend them to all my friends & family!
BUYER BEWARE!!! THEY ARE MARKING UP TELLURIDES ABOVE MSRP WITHOUT TELLING YOU. They are then using the Kia rebates which they have to use to get it close to or slightly below MSRP, they will not tell you this until you fill out the paperwork. This means you are paying the taxes on the above MSRP price!!!! We put a $1000 deposit down on a telluride and we were told the car was in and to come get it this week. We arranged the sale of our own car when we got that message and got a babysitter. When we tried to get it Thursday they couldn t do it which was totally fine. We then made arrangements again to come in Friday after sending in the paperwork beforehand thursday and getting a sitter again with my wife being car-less and we were then told it wouldn t be ready until Monday. We almost walked out several times but we were stuck as we knew what car we wanted and needed to get into a car after arranging the sale of our own. We did our research and the Telluride is an amazing vehicle and decided that s what we wanted, Ray took a long time with my wife showing her the car and we were impressed by their lifetime service offer but our treatment was horrible. The market for tellurides is extremely hot so I understand them not wanting to wiggle off of MSRP but selling for above MSRP and using the rebates they have to use by KMF to get it back down to MSRP without telling the customer is immoral, especially since you are paying taxes on their marked up price. Mike the manager was not willing to do ANYTHING for us after our bad experience and finding out what they did with the marked up price and rebate, and also giving us the run around about when we could pick up the car after telling us to come in this week and moving our life around for it. Any other dealership would be throwing at least something in to make the customer happy after that type of experience. We were stuck and we were tired of the whole process so we begrudgingly took the vehicle as we know how quick they sell and not having a car of our own for our three kids. Again it is a great car and the market is extremely hot for them but it doesn t warrant deception and poor treatment. Was absolutely shocked that nothing more was done after our whole experience. I am hoping that at least their lifetime service offer is better but I m not optimistic. I would go elsewhere if you can find the telluride you want, plenty of dealerships are offering the KMF rebates on the tellurides without the deception of marking up the vehicle above MSRP. If we didn t arrange the sale of our car we wouldn t have done the deal.
This was my second time coming to this Kia dealership and I was coming due to my car being totalled so I was not in the best of moods to be car shopping. I came in knowing what I was looking for and Gerard worked for a couple of days with me to try and find it. Unfortunately what i was after wasn't available on the East Coast (he looked far) but he was able to get me in a similar vehicle just a different color. I also worked with Rosa in Finance and as I do ask a lot of questions she worked well with me and I feel I got a great deal when I left.
Overall a good experience but hopefully it will be a while before I to go back.

First of all, I want to thank all the staff working at the Smithtown Kia. They ar every helpful. Al dealers want to sell a car and make business, but at Smithtown Kia, you feel yourself as being a member of a large family. I especially thank Jorge Steven Mejia. He was very friendly, frank, honest, determined, and helpful. He tried very hard to get my credit approval. I really appreciate him and the others who helped me during my service.
I am beyond satisfied with this dealership. I was looking for a vehicle within my budget, and paying cash. Most dealers that I have called or visited raise their online pricing by 1-3k if they know you are paying cash. This dealership was absolutely amazing, I worked with Ray Nassar, and it was the easiest process. I was walked through everything. I tried not to show it but I was terrified to go to a dealer because you always hear bad stories of some dealerships. This was my first time so I didn t want to be scammed or pushed into something I wasn t comfortable with, but that was not the case AT ALL. They also do not charge Dealer fees I ended up with a 2017 Kia Forte S, right out of its lease and under miles. It has so many great features. I looked at the car on a Tuesday, thought it over that night and by Wednesday I had a new car!! I will absolutely come back to this dealer when it s time to upgrade (Which won t be for a bit, being I got an awesome, reliable car!!)
The only qualm I have to say is my car had on the window sticker that it had cloth mats, and it didn t. The dealer does sell them but they are kind of expensive and I feel like I should have been given new mats with the purchase of my vehicle, however this is not Rays fault by any means I was just disappointed in that aspect.
Ray is an excellent seller of car, professional, honest, friendly, he made this experience was wonderful and simple, we just had to go to sign, he did everything for us. I am happy to have a Kia, my previous car was a Mercedes Benz 2016 and I thought that with Kia I would lose status but it is not, this car has more than what the Mercedes Benz had. It is a very safe and modern car. The dealer has offered lifetime oil change service and inspection, what else can you ask for! I'm in love with my car and we got 0% interest on the loan. Ray worked with us to get the best interest. We recommend Ray Nassar as a salesman and Kia Smithtown as the number 1 dealer in America.
Is there a 10 star rate?! Because if there is that would be my selection. As a first time car buyer my experience with Kia & salesman Adam Hernandez was amazing. I walked in undecided but Adam was patient, kind and a great help. He did everything that best matched my needs. I walked out happy & satisfied. I have nothing but great things to say about my experience I'm glad with my decision & love my new car!

Lenny and Gerard provided exceptional service including delivering my new Kia directly to my home in Carle Place and showing me how everything in the car worked. Just spent over an hour waiting with no help from anybody. The salesmen who weren't helping someone were all huddled around on their phones with a casual glance at the waiting area while ignoring us. Very unprofessional, don't waste your time here.
We made appointment last night at smithtown Kia 545pm my saleswomen call twice during the day to make sure we will be there we arrive around 5:50 almost drive 2 hours our they told us our saleswomen she will be with us ten more min ,50 minutes go by she still not with us but she finally came and talk to us said it will be another hour you would wonder why the mgr would step in and surjest I can give another sale person to help you instead he never apogoglize never text or call us P.S we were in the market for 2 lease cars 2 sportage it was my worst buying a car expierance Thank You for calling us back what a wasted time

Jorge the salesman was great. He treated my wife and daughter with kindness and respect. They came in to look at a used car and he went out of his way to assist them. When i came later that day we took it for a test drive. He helped in getting me the best possible price. Once I bought the car I was helped by John to get my insurance setup and he was professional and helpful. In the finance department was Gerald. He too was courteous and kind. He helped secure a great rate and was open to meeting my particular needs. We worked out a plan that suited us the best. The whole team went above and beyond just to sell a used car. I will be looking to purchase here again in the near future. Highly recommend them.

First of all, I went to 5 different dealerships looking at different cars. While I never had a bad experience, my experience at Kia surpassed all of the other ones. My salesman, Anthony Davis, was amazing. He spoke to me like i was an actual human being with thoughts and feelings. He didn't try to push me or upsell me. We drove 3 cars, and I never felt rushed. He asked me what I liked and didn't like, and actually listened to me when I spoke! Now, my car can sell itself because its amazing, but without Anthony, I'm not sure I would feel as confident in my purchase as I do. I never felt swindled, conned, lied to, etc. When it came time to hand me off to Gerald Ragan, the financial manager, I still felt comfortable. He worked with me to meet my budget needs, even though my credit could use a little help. He sat with me and worked the numbers over and over until we were able to come to a point where I was happy (and not broke.) I have to say, he went above and beyond the call of duty, and remained patient and kind throughout. I wanted to hug him, but it probably would have been weird. I have bought 4 cars in my lifetime, and this was hands down the best experience i have ever had. I will buy another Kia just based on my time in the dealership (but also because I am loving my new car.) In summary, go to Smithtown Kia and buy a new car. They are great people and the cars are pretty awesome as well.
I recently visited Smithtown KIA. From start to finish, through the entire process I was impressed by the dealership. (Victor & Rosa) Victor Mulvey was excellent! He was professional, courteous, and most importantly I felt he was genuine. When questioned, Victor gave me the truth on how financing, deals, leasing vs. buying..etc. I haven t purchased a car in over a decade and I appreciated not being treated poorly because of my lack of knowledge. Rosa offered several options to me and kept trying until the right fit was agreed upon. A great buying experience all around.

Very happy that I bought my KIA Sportage here. The salesman, Gerard Rennie, was extremely helpful in making sure I got all the options I wanted at a price I could afford. And the service department is always courteous and clean. I have my car serviced and the inspection done here, and am never disappointed. The car is always clean.
Dealer ship is expensive and sellers don't exactly know what they're talking about. Asked my guy what the different drive types (sports, normal, casual), and he said it's all about preference of handling. My brothers told me that it changes when the engine shifts gears. Nice enough though, and we're willing to at least work with me to get me a car. Young and limited credit with no co-signers.

The car was delivered cleaner than expected and price was fair. Highly recommended!! The Finance rep, Rosa, was excellent as well. Very professional.

This was by far the best car buying experience I have had yet. Gerard took the time to explain everything to me and made me feel like a valued customer. He was polite, professional and knowledgeable. I worked with Mike Halliday and floor manager Greg to lease a 2016 Kia Soul EV+. It was a great experience. Mike was more knowledgeable about the EV product than many other sales people. He was very responsive in following up with my questions, on the phone or via email. At 6'7", I needed a bit more time to decide on the Soul, due to me "fitting" in the car. They were very willing to let me spend time with the car, drive it a little further than your typical test drive. Everyone in the dealership was very pleasant and friendly. It was a great buying experience, and I am very excited about my Soul EV.
Absolutely the nicest and most helpful staff I have EVER had the pleasure of dealing with and I have dealt with MANY. Michael Halliday, Rosa, and Gerard Reagan could not have been any nicer or more helpful.They all did a fantastic job without me feeling ANY PRESSURE that I had to make a purchase right then and now.
