This dealership sold and maintained a Toyota Sequoia with known frame rust issues and failed to mitigate the rust or replace the frame per the warranty enhancement program. A $40k plus car should not rust away after a decade!

We leased our first Scion back in 2011 and came back again this year because of the people at Smithtown Scion and their excellent service. I can't say enough great things about Smithtown Toyota. My salesperson, Meg, was THE BEST. She is so down-to-earth and made me feel comfortable with my entire purchasing process. I wanted a very specific color and features in my car, and she did not even bat an eye that it would be difficult to obtain, even though they had to get the car from out of state. I thought it would be a week or so to get my car, but it came in 2 DAYS! They even installed full heated-seats for me within a day. The finance guy Sean also was very transparent about how and what I was paying for, and was not pushy into getting additional coverage or whatnot for the car. It was a seamless experience and I totally love the car!!

I bought a used car from here and had a rather poor experience. Staff seemed friendly at first but then when trying to make a sale they became more and more pushy. They tried to get over on my wife and morw than once I had to step in. Then after we agreed on a price before we even had insurance and a loan secured for the new vehicle they already had the plates off of my trade in. I found that very pushy and preemptive. Then I noticed there was chipped paint on the car and they agreed to have it fixed and told me their guy will call us... still haven't gotten a call months later.
Smithtown Toyota has an excellent service department and an excellent sales team. I only purchase my vehicles and have them serviced at Smithtown Toyota.

Walked in on a Thursday night just wanting to test drive the Prius because my girlfriend wanted something that is fuel efficient and could get her the clean pass. Louis was very straightforward and gave me a great price and we left on a good note. I cannot recommend Smithtown Toyota and our salesman Ben more enthusiastically. Our ultimate deal, for two cars, was not simple and changed as we went, however Ben was in total control and was able to handle all our questions, concerns and decision. I was shopping around for a Rav 4 hybrid for my cousin ..after two weeks of search I received different offers from different dealers . Last Saturday received a offer from Smithtown toyota with a $2700 discount on 2017 model ( 2018 is due in august ) . Sunday we were there . The sales man Mr Chris was a gentle man ..we were welcomed in a nice way . . He did his best to gave us the best price in the town .. after checking different trims and colors ,we did final a silver Rav 4 XLE with convenience package ($1950) for around $30200 . But in the mean time we asked the sales man to show us the 2018 CHR ... From the first moment the car shows up in front of us we were in love .we forget everything about Rav 4 .and within next 20 minutes we chose a Blizzard Pearl CHR XLE premium for a very good price of $24750 . Which was a good deal with that trim and color option .. over all the staff was nice ,except the finance guy who was trying to push remote start and alarm for Eight hundreds dollars . Toyota did not have any incentives or zero percent on this particular car .we finance this car .No coffee was offered .nothing special treatment was given . Over all nice place to get a good bargain specially the sales man was well informed about the product he was selling .Because When Huntington Toyota call us the first question their manager ask was are you interested in the car with a sunroof , she had no idea Rav hybrid comes standard with a sunroof .another Atlantic Toyota called and asked ,are you looking for front wheel or all wheel drive ,they had no idea Rav hybrid comes only with all wheel drive ,then she asked some more stupid questions like you need a four cylinder or six cylinder Rav ,she was unaware of that Rav hybrid comes only with four cylinder ..But sales man with Smithtown Toyota had a good command on Rav hybrid information ...Bottom line a good and best place to get a good deal . I will recommend all my friends whenever they need to buy a new car to Smithtown Toyota specially Mr Chris . ( hope Chris next time you will find some change for a Starbucks drink for your guests ) just kidding ... . Going tomorrow to pickup CHR Asif Niazi

My wife brought her car in for a service, first time using smithtown toyota b3cause we just moved out here. She expected to be their for 2-3hrs. she was their for 45 MINUTES. been using another dealership for 11 years always 2-3 hrs. I spoke to Jillian and she was amazing! Very attentive/nice and willing to hear me out on what I wanted. We had come to an agreed price for the amount due at signing and my monthly rate. But.. after everything was set and done and I was called to be informed that my credit was great (above 700) and the loan was approved. Keith (finance manager) tells me last minute (when I m already in his office) that my rate was going up and I had to include a couple hundred more for the down payment. When I asked why? He said that it was because I got accepted as a tier 2 and the extra money was for the plates. We negotiated the price before hand. My credit was great thus I know it was tier 1. The original down payment already included the plates according to what they told me earlier on and what was typed up on the buyers contract but of course he insisted otherwise. I also had my friend on the phone while I spoke to Keith who worked at a dealership in the past and he informed me it was just fluff. I believe this was unethical. If we had already came to an agreed price, at least tell me before hand that you intended on raising my rate (could ve told me over the phone as well) and not had me in your office to tell me last minute. I decided to go with the purchase because it wasn t much more money but the issue here is the principle. It was unethical, dishonest behavior on his behalf and deceitful.
Last week, my wife and I leased a Highlander from Smithtown Toyota. I met with Paul, Keith, and Trish and each person displayed professionalism and special attention to us. We were in the dealership with 2 children under the age of 3 and they helped to make this transaction occur as quickly and smoothly as possible. Paul ensures that my vehicle was delivered to The Smithtown location prior to my arrival and Trish took both of us for separate test drives. A woman in the insurance dept also provided my 2 year old with markers and paper to keep her occupied while we filled out our paperwork.
Overall, I would highly recommend Smithtown Toyota to anyone looking to be treated like part of their family. At no point did I feel strong armed into a deal. I could tell they were actively trying to get me the best deal possible within my budget. Their receptionist, Chelsea, also ensured that we were directed to the correct people upon entering the building and all throughout the process.

Just bought my 1st car, 2018 Corolla LE, Trish was very helpful and friendly and worked with me on a great deal, whilst Diego the Financial Manager there was clear with me on the numbers. I would definitely recommend this location if you're looking to get a Toyota. Fyi, Atlantic Toyota consists of very dishonest sales persons, do not go there!!
Bad experience. There was a miscommunication that had me waiting for two hours. They showed no desire to rectify the problem. I felt like I was at the DMV. This is not how you should run a business. So I got my keys back and went to Jiffy Lube in Centereach. GREAT SERVICE there!

They only want to sell. I bought a Highlander in this place and something was missing from the back bumper Crown Vessels. They said, that they going to send it to me but never got it. Very inresponsables people. I still not have my Crown Vessels. The owner of this dealer wrote me and told me that he will fix the problem. I still going to say, they are very inresponsable people. Incredible......people if you think to buy a car do not going to this dealer.

It's hard to write a good review about this place. Every time i bring in my car they tell me i need XYZ done to the car even when i have recently done it myself. They even lie and say the mechanic checked and recommend that it be done. Only until i tell them that i recently replaced the item they back track and say oh...well the computer says based on mileage it needs to be done. That is a VERY big difference. It's the same thing every time and i honesty don't know why i keep coming back. Maybe after writing this i wont.

Today I had my (free) 12,000 mile check up & inspection. I waited for my car in a large room (that wasn't crowded - yay!) with plenty of chairs that looked comfortable & faced the tv. I preferred to sit on the side at a table (for all my stuff) with high back chairs & a foot rest. Some people helped themselves to the coffee & bagels or the snack machines & watched News12 while I read my book. It was mellow. I used the ladies room & yes, it was clean. After just over an hour, my baby & I were heading home! Great experience & no cost to me!

We had a fantastic experience at Smithtown Toyota we have always been loyal Toyota customers and love our new Prius prime! Erica was our first contact there and she was very understanding of our situation as there were a few people involved was not exactly traditional ans she made sure it all was perfectly ok and ran smoothly. On too of that Trish is a fantastic salesperson very professional and personable she got things moving quickly for us and we really clicked so Toyota is very lucky to have her as were we! She helped us learn and navigate all the features and ins and outs of the car since it really does have alot going on in there! Really everyone at this location was very helpful and made an effort to work with us to ensure we had the best deal possible. They were very dedicated towards making sure we drove away happy and when I needed help with an insurance issue afterwards Trish helped me right away so really cannot be more greatful since this vehicle will be used for a new business in the near future. Also a special shoutout to Milton the Allstate on site rep he is an overall wonderful person we really appreciated his guidance and professionalism. Hands down the best Toyota dealership around!! You could tell that salesman Lou Bilous really wanted to find the best car for me. He spent time showing me both new and used cars and never pressured me. Sales manager Guy Albergo worked magic to locate the exact color car with the options I wanted. Financing was quick and smooth and before I knew it, I was driving home in my new car. I'll never go to a different dealership again!
I brought in my toyota because my power steering fluid was leaking. They went through my steering wheel to fix it and broke my horn in the process. I went back the next day to tell them what happened and they didn t take responsibility and told me how Things happen to older cars ... even though it was working perfect when i got there and didn t work on the ride home from the shop.

We picked up our band new 2018 Toyota Highlander yesterday and can't say enough about our salesman, Lou Bilous, and the dealership as a whole. Lou spent as much time as we needed explaining every feature of the car, syncing both our phones to the Bluetooth connection, waited while all our phone contacts were downloaded, made sure we were comfortable and happy before we drove off. I'm very happy with my experience at Smithtown Toyota. I leased a Highlander in April with the help of sales rep Sean. He was friendly and informative. He setup the bluetooth connection between my phone and the car and showed me different functions of the Highlander. Stephanie assisted me with adding the vehicle to my insurance policy. I drove out of the parking lot with everything taken care of. I recommend them if you're shopping for a car!
This dealership made purchasing a car for my daughter a horrible experience. The dealership would not honor internet prices on 2019 Toyota RAV4 XLE. Sales manager Guy insisted that all discounted vehicles & disclaimers were done by a 3rd party & would be taken down on 1/2/19. They were being changed on the 1/2/19 due to the fact the deals were over on that day and changing anyway! I have everything copied from thier Website with the pricing they were offering. Their internet ads are deceiving and dishonest. I will be filing formal complaints with different agencies concerning these matters. I have never been treated by a dealership like this in my life. When I tried to call Guy, he actually informed me he was done helping me and he hung up on me. That tells me everything I need to know. I will never be going back there, I will stick with Toyota in Riverhead or Oakdale.
Trish, at Smithtown Toyota, was a lot of help with getting my dream car while understanding my financial situation. She was patient, and tried her best to find the right deal that would make me happy. She continue to follow up with me after I left the dealership and that was very helpful. She's bubbly and has a good sense of humor. I'd definitely recommend her to family and friends.
Smithtown Toyota has been around for a long time. 3 years ago I considered them before leasing my Highlander. The show room was over crowded, messy and disorganized. Sales staff were very limited on the knowledge of the vehicle and said they were an authorized dealer for Costco. After obtaining their price I went to Sunrise Toyota who is an authorized Costco dealer. The show room was spectacular. Sales staff were knowledgeable and attentive. I contracted with them and received a monthly price $50.00 lower than Smithtown. I took advantage of their free 2 year service on the vehicle and was extremely impressed with their clean, modern and spacious facility. Services were quickly and neatly performed including free car wash. So here we are 3 years later ready to lease a new Platinum Highlander again. So I visited Smithtown show room that still looked the same. This time not one sales person offered to help. All were busy talking on the phone, filing their nails or on their personal devices. I asked the lady at the door for a brochure. She tried to get one, but said there are none left. At least she made an earnest effort to help a customer. I still can not figure why anyone would want to go to Smithtown Toyota. Obviously I will continue with Sunrise Toyota as a satisfied customer.

I just got Toyota Prius prime. It was my second Prius from Smithtown Toyota. First was 2010 prius ll. Accidently I used same sales guy both times. Tim was a pleasure to deal with. Very helpful. Always prompt with email replying and returning phone calls. I made 218000 miles on old Prius before deer total my car. After first drive I was happy that I had to put my old Prius to rest....

Stop shady business practices. The dealership presented me with a deal under which I was receiving $2,700 for my trade-in which was very attractive so I agreed. In reality, the dealership overstated the price of the vehicle I was interested in by $1,200 which means that I was only receiving $1,500 for my trade-in. That became apparent when I came to take delivery of the vehicle and was presented the contract showing a $1,200 lower vehicle price and a $1,500 trade-in value. When I asked for an explanation, I was told the sales representative was not in the dealership; I was also told that attempts had been made to contact him via phone and text, unsuccessfully. Today, I received a call from the sales representative who claimed he was not aware of the price difference and, in any case, did not have anything to do with "numbers"; he only gave me what the manager gave him... . I believe that the staff at Smithtown Toyota deliberately misled me by overstating both what they were offering for my trade-in and the price of the vehicle I was interested in. I suspect that Smithton Toyota knowingly engages in this type of misleading business practice as they more often than not do not get noticed or challenged by the customer: the fact that the sales person was nowhere to be found, allegedly would not return phone calls or texts from the dealership, the fact that the finance manager was able to present me an alternate document with the exact terms of the offer I had accepted (including the higher vehicle price), all show that this type of behavior is known by all involved and is tolerated, if not encouraged, by the management at Smithtown Toyota.
This is the second time I purchased. a vehicle at Smithtown Toyota with the same sales person Sean Dietz which I will always deal with him because of his friendliness and dedication to get you the best deal possible and the transaction was completed in a professional manner. I traded my 2013 Toyota Corolla for a brand new Toyota Camry SE. I will always recommend this dealership because of the way they treat you and they will try to get you exactly what you need.
Customer service was pleasant and on time but very overpriced. Should have went somewhere else to do my brakes would have cost me half the price. I won't be returning here due to high price tag on service. I only changed pads and resurfaced rotors, it cost me three times more then what I could have bought new rotors and pads myself. They probably get pads for dirt cheap seeing they buy in bulk so I paid more then $300 in labor for just over an hour worth of work.
