Terrible service. When I was deployed and had my 65 year old mother helping out taking care of my house and my toddler, the dryer broke and she requested help from ServiceOne, who I have a home warranty with. She said it was like pulling teeth to get any help or service out of them so I decided to send her to Nebraska Appliance Repair. This isn't the first time I've been less than satisfied with ServiceOne's customer relations or promptness of service, but it will be the last time.

We replaced our AC unit, humidifier and thermostat that were all original to our 20+ year old home. From the initial evaluation thru install, all of the Service One representatives were professional, knowledgeable and punctual. Our evaluation was done by a season veteran in HVAC who properly matched our new equipment with our existing mechanical system, without trying to up-sell us. The installation team walked us thru everything they needed to do, explained in detail the periodic maintenance procedures, showed us how to operate the new thermostat and thoroughly cleaned up their work area when done. It was all a great experience. We have had a Service One home warranty for many years .... wouldn t own a home without it!!
I found that Cliff did a professional job, our air condition might be leaking so he suggested that we replace the old one that we have, so that we would not put any additional money into this repair since a new air condition is need at this time.
Larry M was here this morning as scheduled and completed the annual A/C service check. He was very professional, courteous and thorough. I have always been happy with the service we receive from ServiceOne.

We had our annual furnace inspection before the cold season starts and Chris R was our technician and he was terrific! He was very knowledgeable on the equipment and on ServiceOne's repair policies. He was friendly and easy to talk to. If I could request him every time, I would! We've had ServiceOne for three years and we don't have any complainants so far.
Alan is THE best! He serviced my parents furnace about a month ago and I happened to be over when he did. I decided then to have Service One become our go to repair company. We ll be having Alan back in the spring to do our A/C maintenance as well!
I love Service One. The staff is always friendly on the phone and in person. They are professional and are really patient with little munchkins watching them work. The policy has paid for itself twice at least. It's a must have for every homeowner.
We've had the Service One home warranty for several years and their service is definitely Five Stars! We've called them for furnace, A/C, electrical, water heater, garage door opener, and appliance repair. Their customer service and repair personnel have always been knowledgeable, prompt and courteous. We highly recommend Service One.
Joaquin was very knowledgeable about our appliances and helped us understand how to make them last longer rather than the common mistakes people make that can lessen the life of the appliances. He was also very friendly to my overly welcoming 2 year old son who wanted to help in any way he thought he could. I would highly recommend Joaquin with his knowledge and great customer service!

Chris and his helper arrived the afternoon of the day I called. They diagnosed the problem and were able to remedy it in a half hour. They were courteous oh, it took time to protect the items I had in the affected area. It was a real pleasure.
They won't let me cancel my contract. They hang up on you. They talk over you. I had no problems till recently. I will not resign my contract when it ends. They really need to work on the customer service department.
This is the most unresponsive and unprofessional repair company I have ever dealt with. We have been with them a little over a month. We noticed some water below our dishwasher. We placed a call. The service tech came out looked at it for 5 minutes, said I need to replace a part. He stated that he did not have the part, that he would be out early next week. Collected his $80, and left. A week came and went called the office the following Wednesday, they stated that they still did not have the part. Now is has been 11 days, my wife called this morning, once again they stated that they did not have the part. The person who answered the phone was also rude. 11+ days to get a dishwasher fixed is unexpectable. I would look at other home warranty services if this is indicative of the level of service provided.
Service One have great knowledgeable and very kind people. Chris came out right on time. He went straight to the toilet and fixed the problem. I would definitely recommend Service One to anyone.
l made an emergency call to ServiceOne about four hours after a furnace inspection was made at my home. My furnace was new, but my humidifier was still the old one from the original furnace. It looked OK at the time of the inspection, when the humidifier sprang a leak and my laundry room was all wet. I called ServiceOne who sent Alan D. to fix the issue. Despite being on multiple emergency calls that evening, Alan was like a skilled surgeon: very patient, while dealing with the problem with real skill and precision, fixing the problem in very little time. He also took the time to explain what went wrong and why, showed me a few important tips on continued maintenance of the this older humidifier and how to control this issue if it were to happen again. This is what I call 'total service'. He was very friendly, courteous and very helpful. He should be a doctor, and I gladly give him 5 stars!

Jesse was very detailed and did a great job of explaining everything to me. He asked a lot of questions before starting in which I appreciated. I felt like he understood what was going on and gave a good recommendation.
Technician Cliff G., did an excellent job on the service call. He was prompt, knowledgeable and provided great service. He diagnosed and solved the problem within 15-20 mins.
Service One is useless. I have needed to make many calls to cancel my service. Apparently there is only one person in the entire company with the ability to cancel your service and she doesn't answer calls. After finally getting my service canceled, I was charged afterwards anyway. When trying to contact the person to find out what the problem is, I find that this person also doesn't answer her phone. I will never do business with them again.
I had an excellent experience with Service One today. Alan was on time, was able to diagnose the problem efficiently, and ordered and set everything up for my A/C to be fixed!
Arrive on time and was very professional when performing his furnace checkup. Explained what was happening at the time he completed a task. When the job was complete he went over everything he did and what the furnace setting were and what new part he installed. We have been very satisfied with Service One and their Technictions for a number of years
I felt compelled today to write a review for Service One because my dad made an appointment today in advance and he took off work specifically for the appointment. The day of never called or came so my dad called them and a women answered who clearly didn't care and said his appointment was rescheduled and my dad said he wasnt informed. I just think this was really unprofessional and clearly you guys don't care about your customers.

I have used ServiceOne to do work at my house and they did a great job. I was impressed with their knowledge, the product and the craftsmanship. I have used many contractors over the years and there are many bad ones. ServiceOne is a company I know I can trust and if something isn't the way I like it, they'll make it right. Cliff G and the Sevice One staff were amazing. AC went out on Sunday, called Monday morning and was initially given Wednesday as a service date. Lady assured me she would try to find something earlier for me. Pull in driveway from work and guess who is waiting for me? Mr. Cliff G. who was fantastic and taught me a great deal about maintenance of an AC as well as the industry in general. He had it up and running within 20 minutes.

Jason, as all HVAC techs we've had to our home, was very friendly & professional. He did a great job explaining to us what he did and how our current furnace was running. He also let us know how we can save money by getting a more efficient heating & air conditioning system. He presented it in a way where he wasn't trying to upsell us, he was just letting us know.

Poor poor poor. I have literally never had such a bad experience and felt so left out to dry by a company and service that is so far from cheap. Was told a boiler backflow device was covered (I was actually surprised by this.) Scheduled an appointment only to get a call days later informing the backflow service devise itself was being serviced it would take 2 weeks Fine. 2 weeks pass no call. I call and it's still not ready and no idea when it will be ready. So I explain on the phone that I pay them for a service and they can't provide me with said service. So, as their customer in this situation, what should I do? They suggest I call someone else since this service is not covered anyway. So I'm told its covered, wait weeks for it to be fixed, no idea when it will be fixed, and now it's not covered. I ask to speak to someone to cancel my service. Maybe try and get my money back since, at the time, I had only had the service for a very short time. No answer. Call after call no answer and no return call. Honestly, I just feel scammed, taken advantage of, and with absolutely no care from the company whatsoever. This is the first year I decided to give Service One and try and I will never do it again. Shame.
Chris M came out to my house to work on a backed up main sewer line. He quickly diagnosed the problem, explained what my options were for fixing it, and had the problem taken care of in under 2 hours. Additionally he answered my questions about what I could do to prevent this from happening in the future and provided me with possible solutions.

I can not say enough good things about Serviceone. My water heater quit working and as a new homeowner I was frantic about the cost of replacement as well as finding the time to get it put in while finding time to sleep during the day as I am a night RN. Set up the appointment for the service call and it did not take any time at all for Mike L , the technician, to tell me what was wrong. And since the technician was ahead of schedule for the day The new water heater was put in by 11am( Thanks to Marty A and delivering said water heater) and it now up to code. What would have cost $1400 was replaced and running for less than $350. Thanks ServiceOne! saved! Thanks
Service One is so great, we can't recommend them enough! We've only had to call them out twice for appliance fixes and they came out within a day or two of making the appointment and diagnosed the problem immediately. For my husband and I, it is absolutely worth the annual fee and $80/visit. Gary Y was a very cheerful, pleasant technician who went above and beyond to get us the parts for our oven same day.
Service One does a great job! They take care of my personal home and my rental. It is nice knowing I have coverage on all my appliance, washer, dryer, furnace and a/c and so much more! Easy one call for all. Love them!!!
Our electric water heater stopped working. Our local plumbing company refused to schedule a same day appointment even though they had just replaced our water heater elements three weeks prior. I had a contract with Service One so I called them to ask if they could have a plumber come out to fix our water heater on the same day. They sent someone late on a Friday night. He tried but didn't get it fixed. The next day, they sent an electrician who said it was not an electrical problem. Then, on the same day, the plumber came back again and discovered the problem was that the local plumber had not actually replaced both elements even though we were billed for the replacement of both elements. (To make it worse, I was shown 2 corroded elements by the local plumber who claimed they were taken out of my water heater... needless to say, we received a full refund of our charges from the local plumbing company.) I HIGHLY recommend Service One over everyone else. We will always call them first.
Chris R was excellent!! Finally a service pro who explained my air conditioning system, showed me what he found and how he fixed the problems!! Never did he make me feel like I would never understand . I will definitely request him again!! Service One...I have really bad experiences with your service in the past couple of months but Chris R redeemed you!!

Had a fantastic experience working with Joaquin R with ServiceOne. Joaquin found time late in the evening 5:30pm to come and repair our clothes dryer. It was easy to tell Joaquin takes great pride in his work and operates with very high integrity. He went above and beyond with his repair, even replacing a few parts that were close to the end of there useful life

Joaquin, our service tech, was extremely helpful in explaining what he wasd going to do for our repair. He even suggested things that we'd need to do to assist in prolonging the life of our appliance. He took the time to point out a few things that I should be looking for to prevent premature malfunctions in the future. Here epitomizes the true professional.
UPDATED: This is the second time in a couple of years that Joaquin had come out to service one of my appliances (entirely different issue) and my assessment of my last with him stands pat for this incident. Heck, if he were running for office he would get my vote; he really delivers!
Service Pro Mike L. came out to address plumbing issues and a garbage disposal that wasn't working. He was courteous and thorough. He explained everything he did and gave me some tips on how to avoid problems in the future. ServiceOne has competitive pricing for their services, and if you have a home contract like I do, you don't have to worry when appliances go kaput. Highly recommended.
I called ServiceOne yesterday to have our bathtub diverter and our drain pull to the bathroom sink fixed since they were no longer working properly. Upon my call I was able to get someone out the very next day! The Service Pro assigned to our service call was Lorin L. Lorin worked very fast and efficiently; both of our faucet fixtures are now working great! Lorin was also extremely knowledgeable and cordial throughout the entirety of the service call. I couldn't be happier with the service received!
The service one rep Jon Camp was phenomenal. He hit customer service at all time high. I had a lot of questions. He answered all my questions, explained every answer in detail. He took the time to make sure every component was checked throughly. Next time I need any type of service I would like to see if he is available first!!! I have 2 daughters that have asthma. I have had 2 unsuccessful service one calls. Morgan was the 3rd tech to come fix my furnace. She did what the other two men failed, which is fix my furnace. That lady deserves a raise for her professionalism and knowledge of her feild.Big props to Morgan.
Just an FYI, their policy is not repair or replace. If you have equipment that needs repaired but the parts are no longer manufactured, ServiceOne will just 'buy out' your equipment/appliance. The buy out price is only as much as the parts and labor if they could repair it. So if you're hoping to have an appliance that is no longer manufactured covered by ServiceOne, theres a good chance you'll be stuck paying for the majority of a new appliance anyways. The extra star is for friendly staff.
