Our heat went out a cold day in the middle of January. Service One sent out Cliff the same day. Cliff worked quickly. When the problem was resolved he made sure I was aware of anything that may have caused the issue in the first place. He seemed very knowledgeable. His information and work is greatly appreciated.

Furnace wasnt keeping up with the cold weather. They were friendly and came out the same day. Tech was knowledgeable and fixed the issue in less than an hour

The technician came out. He told me all costs would be out of pocket even though I have a warranty. I was quite upset so I called the office and was told that's not correct. He doesn't know what he's talking about. So your technicians should not give out information if they don't know what they are talking about. He was polite , did his job.

Fred was very professional and friendly, also provided great suggestions on how to use my refrigerator.

I schedule a maintenance check for my A/C with Service One. They actually called the day before the scheduled visit to see if Ryan could come a day early.
Ryan called a few minutes before he arrived, was friendly and gave me a run down of his work before he left. I recommend Service One!

The communication with Service One has been great. The process to set up an appointment was easy. They text me a day before to remind me and text me again the day of the appointment when they were on their way so I didn t have to sit around guessing when they were coming. The tech that was sent was professional and answered all of my questions. You can t ask for better service than this.

The Service One tech called Sunday night at 6 pm to inform he had several clients before us since we had no heat.

He arrived at 8:10 to replace batteries on thermostat is why there was no heat.

Thought might be batteries but didn t want to break it so tech showed me how to access them in future.

We have the home warranty with service one and literally every time you call they find a reason to not cover something. Our refrigerator is covered but not the ice maker....that is part of the refrigerator...not in their eyes. Do not use this service!!!!! Fraud to just get money from you....to be fair they did do some repairs however 50% of the time if you call them it isn t covered. Trying to list ever repair isn t a way to prove this isn t a scam. Logically, if you say an appliance is covered it should be the entire appliance. Picking and choosing which part is covered just makes the warranty a insurance fraud to cover the least likely thinks that need repair.

Joaquin was very skilled and knowledgeable, going above and beyond what others might have done, to check every possible option to get my machine up and running at peak performance. He spent additional time to explain to me what the issues were, possible causes, and tips to prevent such issues from occurring again. He even went so far as to make other helpful suggestions to keep my other appliances running smoothly. ServiceOne has multiple subscription options allowing one to select coverage on as many or as few items as you wish. The pricing is fair and the service is always great. Their customer service throughout each department is amazing! I have been a customer for many years and highly recommend them. 5 stars! Thanks again Joaquin! We appreciate you!

They get a job fixing my issues and were very polite

Called ServiceOne at 8am to take a look at a furnace where the burners were not lighting. Person on phone took my call, verified my furnace warranty status and told me what I should expect for charges. The HVAC service tech, Larry M, called me before he arrived, at the time the person I initially talked to said. When Larry arrived, he brought everything he needed to my basement in one trip. After describing the symptoms to him, he knew immediately what he needed to check. He explained everything he was doing. He was very thorough. He cleaned the air intake, the burners, the interior of the furnace, and verified everything was operating as necessary. I would not hesitate to call ServiceOne again. When I do, I will definitely ask if they can schedule Larry to take the call.

Alan did a great job of checking out my furnace for upcoming winter. All was in working order and he showed me how to change the humidifier filter so I could save some money. He also helped me program my new thermostat for both winter and summer. Very helpful and friendly.

Cliff Greer did an AWESOME job when he repaired our air conditioner! He is polite and very professional. Service One responded quickly and understood our problem. Cliff worked quickly, restoring our air conditioner.

Always booked 1-2 weeks out which is a problem if you have a washer full of water or no AC or heat or a broken fridge full of food. You have to wait on hold for 15-30 minutes just to talk to anyone. No 24/7 service for appliances.

I just had the drum on my dryer replaced by Gary Y and Joaquin and they were AMAZING they were hilarious and seemed like best friends and they did their job with a honest smile. Cracking jokes and teasing each other while working made my experience with them just perfect. If I'm ever EVER going to need serviceone again I'm going to personally request these 2 from now on. Thorough and timely repair of our furnace! There were more problems than we anticipated and we are so glad that our furnace is happy now!! The service man took the time to write down how often to replace filters and the best kinds to get, and was very knowledgeable about the maintenance requirements. We can already tell a difference in our air flow and quality. Thank you, Alan!

Our AC was not running properly. It was blowing out warm air. I called once in the beginning of April, they fixed the problem but then noticed a couple weeks after they left it wasn't running properly again - still blowing out warm air. The servicemen were very nice and informative. First time they were out there was 2 guys (Mike and Ala), Mike was training and doing all the work so he could learn. Second time Alan came out to fix the AC again. He noticed there was a wire that wasn't connected right which is why the air was warm. He apologized that it was missed and said he let Mike know so he didnt miss it. Definitely will have service one back out! Great service for sure!

Service One has come out and addressed many of our appliance repair needs with good results. Today was the first drain clearing call we have called them out on. Called this morning and they showed up before end of day. The service tech showed up took care of it and cleaned up after himself. Quick and thorough can t ask for much more.

Contacted Service One about A/C not working & they got me in the same day!! Thank goodness because it was a sauna in my house. The technician that came out was ALAN D he was professional & friendly! Explained everything he did on the service call, answered all my questions & gave me some helpful tips regarding my A/C unit. He even took time out to pay attention to my pets.

Alan is absolutely the best technician if you need something done to your heating or air-conditioning. He is the most thorough technician we have ever had. He checks every single thing out, he explains everything to you to your satisfaction, he cleans up after himself and I cannot say enough nice things about him. This is not the first time he's come out to work on our heating and air and he is who I would request every time. ServiceOne squeezed us in at the last minute and unless you've ever had your air conditioning go out in the summer when it's hot and humid you have no idea how grateful you are to see someone that knows what they're doing walking to your door and take care of the problem for you. Alicia is the first line of defense for ServiceOne she is absolutely incredible every time you call to request something done for your home. She will do everything she can move heaven and Earth to help you. I cannot say enough good things about Alicia or Allen. if you need a home warranty or even if you just need repairs without home warranty service one is the place to call. we have had them for over 20 years and would never ever use anyone else. You are always going to get knowledgeable service people, extremely nice office personnel and you were going to get the best price in Omaha.

Alan was very thorough. He was prompt and courteous. He advised us if any areas if concern and how to best handle them if they need attention!

Most recent service was done by Travis. He was prompt, worked quickly snd knew exactly what to do! He kept me advised of his arrival time!!!

My kitchen drain was working, but working slowly. I called Service One and they sent out Chris Merritt. Chris worked very diligently and I was really surprised at the difference in performance. He did a great job.

Israel came the same day and got my AC back up and running before it got too hot outside. Definitely recommend him and service one!

MIKE L. came and took 5 mins to thoroughly examine and diagnose our peoblem that previous techs had difficulty diagnosing. Presented optional solutions and offered what he thought was best if it was his own house.
Great service, ...very impressed!!

Israel was very friendly, professional, and quick to get the job done before the end of the day.

Cliff G. has been to our house to work on our furnace before and was nice to see a familiar face and to have them remember their customer(s) as well. He did a great job finding the problem quickly. And when he didn't have the part on hand he went to get it, came back and installed it all within an hours time, to be honest probably faster I wasn't watching the clock tick by just occasional glances.

Israel arrived on time after notifying that he was on his way. He was professional and identified himself upon arrival. Israel completed the preventive maint., then briefed me on what he did, and answered
questions I had. I asked for recommendations for a humidifier, he quoted my options and also the specials Service One is currently running. Israel is a valuable asset to have at Service One.

They were able to respond to our need for service and provide a temporary solution along with a clear explanation of what the issue was and what the recommended long term correction should be.

Bill G. was very professional. He went above and beyond with the repairs we requested. We would highly recommend him and Service One!

Amazing poor customer service. The "repair or replace" claim is false. Any repair you call about requires several weeks and at least two visits to your home: the initial visit to assess the problem, a few weeks pass while parts are ordered, and then another visit to your home to do the actual repair. The repairs they do are terrible. Each individual problem we have had required 4-5 service calls because it was never repaired right the first time. The replace claim is false because a "buy out" is offered when Service One no longer wants to service an appliance, and the amount offered for a "buy out" is well below the replacement cost of the appliance. We have given Service One multiple chances to address grievances, and the situation has not improved. Stay Away!

Quick Addendum: Spoke with customer service yesterday, and they lied to me about attempting to contact me. I reviewed phone records, and their claims of attempted contact were false. Remarkable that anyone will do business with them.

Have had Service One for 15 years. Overall good experience and worth having them for our needs. They have always been honest and fair.

Service on my refrigerator was done quickly & efficiently. He was also able to come a day earlier than what was scheduled!

I've been with Service One for more than 10 years and would not choose any other home warranty provider.

I called in with a possible blown circuit breaker because of the smell and asked for a same-day emergency appointment. Service One gave me an open appointment for sometime that day, but the call center must have been working hard behind the scenes to get someone out quickly. Just over a half hour later, Brian Ross was at my house expertly diagnosing the problem. Brian isolated and replaced the burned breaker and replaced the affected adjacent breakers as well. Brian was very courteous and highly professional. Thanks, Brian, for taking care of my house like it was yours and ensuring my safety by thoroughly evaluating and repairing the problem. If I could give this review 10 stars, I would!

Josh came out to inspect my furnace after I smelled something coming from it. Even though he couldn t smell it right away he checked over everything and then figured out that it was a small natural gas leak. He then had me call the gas company so they could find exactly where the leak was because it wasn t in the furnace. Had to call a serviceone plumber out to fix the pipes where the leak was. After the leak was repaired and the gas company came back out to turn the gas back on the water heater wouldn t light so I had to call serviceone back again to come inspect the water heater. They said it wasn t going to be until Monday before someone could come fix it. Josh had followed up with me later in the day to see if the leak had been repaired and I told him what had happened and he had to stop by to pick something up he forgot so he looked at my water heater and was able to fix it today.

Our heat pump went out, Pete came out and found the problem in under 5 minutes and was done in about 30 minutes. He took the time to explain what was wrong and was very courteous. I've used Service One since 2001 and have only used one other company since, I learned in a hurry (and my wallet) why I stick with Service One.. Thanks for the great job Pete!

Tech was very courteous. He thoroughly examined and cleaned my A/C and furnace. He offered advice and recommendation letter relating to my filters, which would allow the system run more efficiently. I appreciate That he took the time to review this with me!

Wow. Dan came over to our house this evening to fix our furnace. He was so kind and personable! What a great asset you have to your company. He fixed our problem and much more!! Service one is always prompt and responsive. Highly suggest their services.

We have used service one on a few things in are house now and every time they have came out to fix something they have been all the above.

I'm not sure why I pay this company. Every time I call for something to be serviced, they say it's not covered or condemned. I'm so frustrated. For all the money I've paid over the time I've had ServiceOne, I could certainly afford to have someone else fix things. Almost wish I just had my money back.

Alan was tremendous in his responsiveness, professionalism and willingness to educate me on what he had done, as well as what I could do to troubleshoot any future issues.

It's terrible that I have to give ServiceOne even one star at all. Their "repair or replace" claim is a scam, their home warranty is a scam. We had a water heater go out on us two years ago. ServiceOne made three different trips out to our home to make band-aid repairs that failed shortly after completion. We ended up just replacing the water heater unit out of pocket after giving up on hope that ServiceOne would replace they unit as they claimed. We dropped ServiceOne like a bad habit.

The reason I'm writing this review now is because we are in the process of selling our home and our realtor uses ServiceOne for the home warranty until closing. The problem is that we were supposed to get regular maintenance done on the AC unit, so we had ServiceOne come out and do that. The technician said that the coils were more than 25% and he couldn't do anything with the unit. Not only could the technician not do anything with with unit, but he also said that he would not be able to do the things that we had them come out do in the first place. Now we are in the process of fighting with ServiceOne AGAIN to do what they claimed to do. I'm so fed up with ServiceOne and hopefully a class action law suit will be filed against the company for false claims.

After this nightmare is over I will be done with ServiceOne forever!

Please do not take this decision lightly, it will cost you a lot of money in the long run. They charge a monthly premium of over 400 dollars per year, service call fees, and then more fees on top of that for "items that are not covered under the warranty". This is a shameful organization.

My suggestion is to start a home maintenance account, and save for your own "repairs and replacements" by a reputable service provider.

Got me scheduled in even though they were packed with appointments even came two days earlier than Burton had scheduled. Got in quickly diagnosed the problem. Had defected parts replaced within minutes. Very professional! Will be my go to service from now on! Also the account manager Iris is an amazing person! Awesome customer service!

Alan D. was an extremely knowledgeable and performed a very thorough inspection of my older furnace. He pointed out to me areas of the furnace that needed to be monitored more carefully in the future, installed the replacement safety values found during a recent emergency repair, rerouted wiring bundles for easier access in the future, and gave me background information on my brand, type, and capabilities of my furnace. Even though I have been with ServiceOne for over ten years, his was the first inspection I can recall where the fan motor and cage were pulled out and the heat condenser inspected for rust from inside the bottom of the furnace. Great work, exceptional technician!

Called at night, came out next morning. Fixed problem in 5 minutes. Also, found a problem with humidifier I didn't even know I had and fixed that too! Very professional.

Reported that our AC went out at 930pm on a Thursday and the technician was able to fix the issue the next day. Initially we were told that no one could get to us until Saturday, but jobs must have gone quickly and they called us back at 430pm and said our technician was requesting additional jobs and would be to our home this evening. Quick response and service.

Appointment was originally scheduled for Tuesday the 27th at 8 AM, received a call Thursday morning the 24th that they were on their way. I told the technician I wasn t prepared for them as this was early but to head on over. I scrambled to prepare. He showed up, I walked him to the leak, he said he d have to check the truck. I then got a call from the office saying that the technician informed them that my house was deemed unworkable due to my lack of prep even though everything was accessible. I was told to clean everything and then call back, despite the fact they came much earlier than they promised. I don t find it fair that they can change my appointment without telling me beforehand and then complain that things weren t ready

Prior review -Alan was a friendly and informative technician. He shared information without being condescending like some other techs I ve met.

Bill G., our service (plumbing) technician, went far above and beyond to resolve all on-going issues under our kitchen sink. He quickly and professionally installed our new faucet, but then also resolved a persistent leak that prior technicians had failed to resolve, either through unwillingness or inability. Bill, as a fellow old home owner himself, was particularly in tune and knowledgeable about the issues that we faced in our home. Even more importantly, Bill was professional, friendly and knowledgeable, engaging with me throughout the process, keeping me in the loop as to what he was doing, and making the time spent while he worked more enjoyable. Having had a variety of plumbing issues in our nearly 100 year old home, and having had a variety of technicians assist us, I would give Bill our highest recommendation and, at least for now, Bill has kept these wavering ServiceOne contract customers with the company.

Ryan was an excellent service technician. Fixed the problem with my furnace, answered all questions I had and offered advice on how to prevent future issues.

Mike Livingston has helped me out on two different plumbing projects and is quick and efficient. His advice and expertise on the second project enabled me to get a better quality product, which should last much longer than the material I had initially selected. We have been Service One customers for around 20 years, and always been pleased with their work and advice!

Service man Alan D showed up on time and did an excellent job. He explained what he had done in terms that were easy to understand and gave helpful tips to prolong the life of our furnace. Will definitely use Service One again thanks to techs like him.

Absolutely disgusted by this company!! They called me a liar about having a service plan with them, ONLY to find out THEY were wrong, no apology, no trying to fix the problem. The part needed came in for the stove yesterday, however, they claim they can't come out to fix it until NEXT Friday!! of course, they already got paid! Not convenient, nor do they want to fix/admit THEIR mistakes! .......... It won't let me respond to your comment SERVICE ONE. I DID call that # 4 different times. The 1st two times I was told OVER and OVER we DIDN'T pay for a plan. The 3rd time was after we spoke with the realtor who emailed us the paperwork saying we had paid for it, I was then told again by your company that we did not have a plan, I said this is ridiculous and they need to find out what's going on because we know we have a plan. I was then transfer to your accounting department where the girl could quickly pull up that we do in fact have a plan that we paid almost $500 for. So FINALLY got that established, after being told countless times I was wrong! And then they called my father's phone(as he was on the lan with me as well) even though I had given them my direct number to call me back on. They told him it would be 2 days before the part came in. I then called back and explainrd to them they need to put me as the only number to call as my dad has the beginning of Alzheimer's, and I didn't want him being bothered with this. 3 days later, no phone call to me but again a call to my father stating the part would actually take a week to come in. I am so thoroughly disappointed that we spent almost $500 on this worthless plan and then spent another $80 to have a part put in after being called a liar. I will NEVER use this company AGAIN and I wouldn't recommend to my worst enemy. Absolute terrible customer service!

Since we bought an older home, I thought it might be a good idea to sign up for a Service One program to cover possible future problems. Turns out that it was the best decision I could have made. This company has come to our rescue on more than one occasion over the past 20 plus years. I would recommend them to anyone, especially those purchasing an older home.

Had a part go bad and my furnace quite working overnight. Jesse was very knowledgeable, professional and did a great job assessing and fixing the issue. Highly recommend.
