I scheduled a service call with ServiceOne, and things couldn't have gone any better! I received the reminder call the day before, just as promised. Also I did receive a call 20 minutes prior to the service call from Gary, Just as promised.
Gary arrived, introduced himself, then proceeded to the laundry room in the basement. It took him just minutes to find the problem. This fellow is an expert in his job! He did things to my dryer above and beyond what I had expected.
Your company has quite an asset in this individual.

Cliff G was on time. He replaced the furnace filter and he checked the furnace. His office gave him the wrong humidifier filter so someone will have to visit a second time to replace the humidifier filter. I am happy with the service.

Cliff was a great help. He figured out what was wrong in no time at all and was friendly and professional. When you have a furnace go out with family in town and a baby in the house the weekend of Christmas you worry how much it will cost and if it will be able to be fixed and Cliff and ServiceOne were here in no time to get us back up and running. I would recommend them to everyone for any issues you have! Thank you!

I have owned homes for more than thirty-years, and have had many different Heating/Air Conditioning companies. For the last six it has been Service One. Their "Gold" service plan is beyond belief. I just had Alan D. out at my house. He was there for more than three-hours, cleaned my system and completed more than $600 of repairs. My cost: $25.00. He was courteous, professional and thorough! Thank You-Service One, job well done.

He was great. Didn't leave a mess and not only fixed our washer but made the hot water flowing into the washer increase so that we no longer had to settle for a trickle. Makes doing laundry much less of a chore! Thanks Bob!

Service One was Awesome, they were prompt & efficient. They checked on the warranty, as this furnace was only 5 1/2 years old, and determined that the fan & the mount were under warranty. They ordered the parts & all we Paid for was the labor.The fan was making a terrible screaming sound, it sounded like bearings were out on the motor. When the repair man came he found that the mount holding the furnace fan had broken and the fan was sitting on its side. He ordered a new mount and a new fan and install it. We will definitely be calling Service One again

We are ServiceOne customers, but due to exclusions, our dishwasher was not covered by ServiceOne. Joaquin R. came to our home to install a new motor for our dishwasher. He took the time to discuss our options and let us know the risk involved regarding having an appliance that was not yet covered by ServiceOne worked on. Essentially, rather than simply do the job and take our money, Joaquin let us know that it would be more cost effective and less risky to purchase a new dishwasher. Thank you, Joaquin, for taking the time to explain and looking out for the best for your customers!

We have been a customer for 4 years in February since we purchased our home. Over the years, our basement pipes have burst every winter and this past winter our basement flooded so badly that we no longer have a finished basement. Each year the pipe burst is fixed but the infrastructure supporting it is a recommendation on how to prevent it in the future. Obviously none of those recommendations have worked. In addition to the pipes, our furnace/ac has gone out at least twice a year. This year, it went out during the hottest week of the year. We were told it would be 2 days before a tech could get there. The tech was unable to fix it after a 2 day wait. We were told a part would be ordered with no expectation of follow up. This was a Thursday and I followed up the following Tuesday. I was told it would be another 3 days. When the tech showed up with the part he said the previous tech had completely disconnected everything in the furnace previously. As a result he was working on the furnace for nearly 3 hours for 1 part. I was then informed my thermostat had also fried and that s why it needed to be replaced with a basic model (my thermostat is nearly 200 dollars). The basic model is also batter powered, which turned on, but there was still no power to the blower. At this point I had been without AC for nearly 2 weeks. I have a 2 month old baby who could not stay in my home during this time. To her credit, the girl in the parts department was extremely apologetic and offered to give us portable ac units. The ac units would have been ok save the fact that the hose connecting the hot air put out my the engine is connected with duct tape and melts off, causing 4 times as much hot air to be put out than cold air. I closed my bedroom door the first night to cool the room down and upon entering it was nearly 100 degrees in the room. In all this time I was promised multiple call backs from supervisors and reps alike when researching parts. There were 2 more visits from a senior tech before things were finally resolved. I had to escalate 3 times to get a tech out faster. My family was displaced and as a result I was left to care for all of our animals by myself, which caused a lapse in cleaning (dog hair from a Newfoundland is no easy task) and I was informed this loose dog hair on the main floor would need to be swept before a service tech would return to service my basement furnace. We also have an elderly cat who doesn t see well and sometimes misses her litter and we were also informed that all cat poop must be cleaned before a tech would return. Again, I own that I should have cleaned, but when I ended up taking 5 separate days off work to deal with techs, it became a bit tedious to deal with all the going on, especially in a 90 degree house. My ac/heat was out from 9/17 until 10/8. It went from needing air to needing heat it went on so long. I own the fact that I was quite frustrated in dealing with the customer service reps, but as someone with nearly 10 years in customer service call center environments some reps and 1 supervisor were overly rude and unhelpful. Jason, our final service tech was helpful and communicative, he was the best part of the whole experience.

Austin was a real professional: on time, friendly, respectful of my home and very knowledgeable. He pinpointed the problem with my refrigerator immediately, had the part in his truck, got it up and running in no time..After cleaning up and giving me a couple of pointers on how to proceed from that point on he was out the door and on his way about a half hour later. Very impressive. Good job Austin and Thank You.

I had my first experience with Service One this last week and was VERY impressed!!!
Brian A. found the problem with my washing machine and was able to order a new part which was delivered and installed within 3 days! He also explained to me how to clean out the washing machine filter and ran several test loads when diagnosing the problem as well as when the new part was installed just to make sure the machine was working properly.

I also had a plumbing problem with a sink and a toilet and Corey was not only able to fix these problems, but "snaked " my other drains ( just in case ) and recommended products to prevent the trouble I was having from occurring again.

Both technicians were very friendly, very thorough, and very helpful!!! I would highly recommend them and Service One to anyone. I am SO glad I have this coverage!!

I am incredibly impressed and thankful that Allen was able to get here and troubleshoot my AC unit. During a 95 degree day, the unit failed and the interior temperature of my home rose to 90. Allen arrived and got right to work diagnosing the issues. He found several and also found small but important things that only a trained PRO would notice. He worked in the heat to fix several damaged parts and got the AC unit working again. I highly recommend Service One and Allen!

I signed up for a plan with Service One about two months ago. I scheduled the annual check of our AC unit right away because we have had some issues and the system hasn't been running well, still operational, but not great. The earliest they could schedule me was July 18, 2019, though I was wanting to get the AC checked as soon as possible. Took half a day off and when I called to confirm the appointment I was told that they had cancelled the appointment. If I hadn't called I would have been sitting at home waiting for half a day.

I love the service when the technicians come out. These are great people who do great work, but I am incredibly frustrated that I had to wait nearly two months for an appointment, took time off of work, and only discovered I wasn't going to get the service requested when I called.

Tony was very courteous and friendly. He took the time to explain to me how air conditioning cools the house by removing heat and humidity from the house. My house was very humid and uncomfortable because I had been keeping the temperature at 80 degrees to save energy, never realizing that this was keeping the unit from working properly. The change has been remarkable once I've lowered the temperature to 75 or 76 degrees. This is my first experience with ServiceOne, and I am very pleased with Tony's service and with the scheduling staff. Thank you.

They do a great job when they come out. However, getting a technician out is a pain. We have the gold plan with plumbing added and so far both times we had to get someone out it s been days out. Just recently I called this morning (Tuesday as soon as they opened) for an AC tech to come out and the soonest someone could come out is Friday with an open timeframe appointment. Kind of a pain when you pay a monthly fee. Unfortunately we have a vacation coming up that s going to have to get pushed a day because they techs are four days out. I know it s a busy time of year, but four days? I wasn t expecting today, or even tomorrow. Four days??

We had our air go out Saturday while getting a new roof out on. It was over 100 heat Index. We thought our house was hit from heat and no roof for hours. But as the night went on it got to 100 degrees inside. I called at 6am and had a repairman here by 930am. Great great service. In less than 20 mins our central air was working again. Repairman was so nice and very courteous. He was very knowledgeable and efficient. I'm so grateful he was able to help us at our time in need. Thank you so much.

This seems to have solved the problem. Joaquin did a thorough job of diagnosing and fixing the problem. Mike L. from ServiceOne did a fantastic job repairing two toilets in less than 25 minutes. The first one I attempted to fix over the weekend, but had difficulty reconnecting the hard supply line to the bottom of the tank. He replaced the hard line with a braided one and ensured the system was leak free. With the other toilet, the flush valve gasket on the Mansfield cylinder was sticking, which created suction and made it very difficult to flush. Mike showed me how to replace the gasket without taking the tank apart; this was in case one of the other toilets in the house started becoming difficult to flush.

I am a home seller and I contacted ServiceOne for the yearly service of my HVAC system to place in the paperwork for the homebuyer. The intake person was friendly and efficient in setting the earliest available service appointment which was less than a week out. On the day of the call, Ryan from ServiceOne notified me via text (which I missed) and promptly followed up with a phone call to notify that he was on his way. He was timely and professional. In addition he was quite comfortable working around dogs, which set my Doberman at ease as service required exiting and reentering the house. After service was completed, I was grateful that he took time to explain the ratings of the evaluation on the service review and what he had done. From the initial phone intake, to the communication prior to service contact, all the way through service delivery and recap of work done, my experience with ServiceOne was positive and I wouldn t hesitate to use then in the future.

Jesse S did a great job. He could have gave up on temporarily making our geothermal unit work until parts could be ordered, but didn't. Spent several hours switching out a blower motor with a temporary and identified a few other things that went wrong and will be repaired. I am not a huge fan of extended warranties. Probability (aka profit) dictates that a high percentage of customers will never need to collect on the warranty, but it appears in this case, Service One was worth the cost. It does offer peace of mind. Regardless of warranty thoughts, Service One, the company, has been very good to work with on two calls for warranty items.

I have been a customer for a very long time, and have my share of good calls and poor calls. But, I have never been, literally, left in the cold on an emergency call for furnace out.
Other than the tech arrived in a relatively short time, this would rate a zero!
Service call placed about 1:30pm on Saturday. Tech responded within 10-15 minutes and arrived shortly after. I will admit the space around the furnace was filthy and floor was damp...
After about 10 minutes unscrewing a few screws he says he has 2 bad news. Not sure the order, but, he saw a "roach" or bug on the floor and that the furnace was "out of maintenance" and would cost about $400 dollars to swap out the blower motor. Wow!
The tech is packing up to leave and says he will not do the repair because of the "roach"! as well as the reason the furnace is "out of maintenance" because it hasn't been serviced in 5 years. What??? were did this come from? I am on auto-payment, so for 5 years and north of $2000 I can't service without additional parts and labor? Give me a break!!! At this point I ask if he has the part to fix the furnace, which he affirms, but he is still leaving. He keeps apologizing and says he is following policy. I have had it with this tech, there is no use talking to him. I requested that he put things back together and he does. and leaves.
At this point, I am completely upset and while I call Burton HVAC, my brother cleans up all around the furnace. Beside some dead waterbugs there aren't any live bugs we can see....
So, the call to Burton was $190 with a price tag of $800+ to replace the blower motor! The furnace sales guy comes over and it's going to cost $5500 for a new furnace... Wow !!!

Sunday morning, and 4 inches of snow, I place another emergency service call about 8:30am and explain the situation to the dispatcher. I get a call back from the Tech about 10 minutes later, and after explaining there "should" be some case notes, he is on the way.

Well, long story short, 2 hours later and one new blower motor, the furnace is running great! ONE part!!! I ask about the charge and the Tech asks if I am a customer and he charges me for the trip, $26.75... I watched the entire repair, there was nothing complicated, just some elbow grease to pull things apart.... and reassembly was quick.

The first Tech cost me time, lots of frustration and $190!
I told the second Tech he should be in the picture on the back of the van!

Service One' Larry M has done a fantastic job for our furnace. Was punctual, curtious and very respectful. Despite the snow and slush outside, he made sure to wipe his feet every time he came in, cleaned up after he finished working and did it all with a smile. Even though he needed parts and could have just come in the next day, he called to request the pieces and came back within a couple of hours and resolved the problem.

We had a company come out and install a central ai...

We had a company come out and install a central air unit, and furnace in 2016. I called the installing company and told them that the air didn't seem to cool down the rooms at the back end of the house. The installer did some wrapping of some duct work, and said this is the biggest home unit they have, and so we got, what we got, for cooling in those far away rooms. I figured that the same must apply to the heat, so I haven't said much to the Service One techs when they come to service the furnace yearly. This time, the Service One tech asked me how the heat was working. I advised him that it could be better. He advised me that the furnace is a 2 stage and is currently set up in single stage. He fixed the furnace to where it is now using both stages. It has much more air pumping through it, and a lot more heat. Before it was luck warm air coming out of the vents. We would have to use the fireplace to take the chill off in the house, and use heaters in the bathrooms before showers. Now it seems to keep up, and even shuts down when it gets up to temperature. Before it run almost constantly all winter. This Service One tech did an awesome job of checking the furnace and pointing out a potential problem. Wish we would have gotten this tech back in 2017 on the first anual check of the furnace, and we wouldn't have had to suffer the inconvenience of a sub par unit, which is now an awesome unit, now that it runs up to its potential. I forget the techs name, but the company should look it up and make sure he gets this message about how happy we are with his service call.

Within an hour of my call that my furnace was not working Alan arrived to assess the situation. Was very courteous and professional and he explained the problem. Since my furnace is an older model, they will need to order the part so I will need to wait to hear from their parts division as to how long it will take to get the part and get it back in operation. All of the Service One agents I have dealt with for various repairs have been super to work with and I highly recommend Service One.
