Justice Davis did an awesome job. He was polite, personable and through. Took the time to walk me through a few extra features I had questions on and set me up with an upgrade I ve been wanting. Thank you!

I had to change my mind on my first review from this company. I decided within three days of installation to have the Co2 and smoke detectors removed. It was going to be about $1374 additional for that. I had already submitted the loan application and it was approved. Enerbank paid the full amount to Safe Haven. After the monitors were removed, they would not refund the money to either me or Enerbank to pay back the $1374. They keep telling me Enerbank has to do a loan modification. Enerbank can't do a loan modification when the money's already been paid. So each company is pointing fingers at the other. All I know is that I had $1374 worth of equipment returned to Safe Haven, and they won't refund the money. Don't fall for their sales pitch that it's all free except a $99 installation fee. They tell you that you have to have Co2 and smoke detection services to get an insurance discount and that's totally false.

Technician Anthony was very professional efficient and compassionate about making sure every need was met and I was satisfied. Gave me information on what equipment would be best where and why, along with finding the best deal for me. Along with the sales team, these guys don't have a scripted pitch, which I'm used to hearing no matter what it might be for. They really do care what they're doing and looking out for the customer. Highly recommend!

Billy Green was very helpful, he explained everything real well also a nice guy very friendly.

I wish zero stars was an option for times like this. We recently purchased our house to allow our college age kids to live in. They are new to the real world and the "regional manager, pacific NW" Michael Melgar attempted to gain access to the house as well as my social security number under completely false pretenses. He stated to my son that he was requested by our mortgage company to install a security system, and the cost of install and service was being paid by our mortgage company. When asked what mortgage company was paying he could not name the company. My son said that we weren't interested but if it is free, send the information to us so.we could review and schedule an appointment if it was legitimate. I'm sure you can guess we didn't get an email. He also said he needed to verify the owner of the house by using our social security number. I was stunned at this brazen attempt to steal our identity. He was very convincing to a college age kid, and it would have worked if I didn't own the house. After multiple attempts to reject the service, this individual continued to push and push to install. At one point said " you can cancel at any time with no penalty". But I thought the mortgage company was paying? After about an hour and still not able to gain access to my house or personal information, he left and we still have not received any information . Be very aware and do not let this man in your house and most definitely don't give him your social security number

Jeff Roger was great and very efficient with his work would recommend him and the company.

Cameron D. was great! He really took the time to explain everything and make sure we were comfortable with the system! He was very knowledgeable and was able to answer all of my questions! His service was outstanding and I would recommend him to anyone who is looking for an amazing installation tech!

Lee took his time to explain everything to me and made me feel nothing but comfortable with the whole experience. John went above and beyond with not just the installation, but with anything needed. He even provided his personal cell phone number and ANSWERS the phone. What a terrific guy he is!!!! Justice Davis was awesome! He didn't try to sell me stuff i didn't need,but provided the product and training for my system that me and my family desired and needed! He took his time, was on time and made getting my alarm system easy. He showed us everything and before he left he made sure we knew how to use all of our features.

Paul was my technician. He was friendly, patient and attentive to my questions. He is very knowledgeable and made my service a breeze!

Bait & switch. Salesman knocks on my door, tells me as part of the new homeowner program my equipment is going to be comped. With free equipment I figure I'll give it a shot. Then the salesman tells me it's going to be $300 to activate my equipment. Fine, they have to make money somewhere. Then the installer comes out, turns out he's also a salesman. He tells me only my first 5 pieces of equipment are comped, and one of those 5 pieces is a WiFi connected outlet I didn't even want but is mandatory. Then he tries to sell me $700+ of additional equipment! That included a router that cost over $200. I ask him why I need a $200+ router, he tells me the video equipment doesn't work on Google Fiber equipment. I'm not paying $200+ for a router, I pull out an old router to link the video equipment to. Once he leaves I connect the video equipment to my Google Fiber routers and it's been working just fine for the past 6 months. Also, the smart thermostat they provide is significantly lower quality than a Nest or other smart thermostat.
That said, the installation work does look good and when I had a sensor fail they came out the next day to replace it.
However, given the opportunity, I would not go with Safe Haven/ADT again. Their monthly rate for monitoring the system is also higher than the rate of another local company.

AVOID! AVOID!
Not only is the sales pitch very pushy and a constant up-sell with confusing terms and charges, but the back end is a nightmare.
I moved and called to have my service transferred. Well, if you move, they require that you sign up for a NEW 3 year contract, or you have to pay the entire cancellation, so I signed up for a new contract. This is bad enough, then yesterday I get a letter from a DEBT COLLECTOR telling me I'll be sued if I don't cough up $1,500, payable to Safe Haven. This is a bottomless nightmare, when I called Safe Haven the answer was "whoops, yeah that's been happening, we will send them a letter and tell them to stop pursuing you."
Great, now I'm crossing my fingers that my credit score isn't forever damaged by this nightmare of a company. AVOID AT ALL COSTS!!!!!!

It was a pleasure to have Carlos Zepeda and his partner Nicholas, very friendly and professional, educated us on the devices they were installing and services provided by ADT.

On 7/23/19 ADT Safe Haven Security came to my home in Hampton, VA (and 1st time homeowner) for new install home Security alarm system. ADT tech Tim Hilton was friendly, curtious, kind and knowledgeable in his home alarm system Perfessionaism! Tim walked me through the whole alarm system for complete understanding and was patient with my Q&A for better knowledge of the system in my home! I was very impressed of the experience in home alarm systems, and would highly recommend this setup in home to any friends or family! I am forever grateful and thankful to have "peace of mind" whether I'm home or away from my home thanks to ADT & Tim!

Anthony was great with communicating what options I had, how the process would be and how the entire setup is controlled. Then he excuected it to a T. I have complete confidence that I can effectively use my system and if anything unexpected arises he has assured me that I can contact him via his personal phone number. Highly recommend!!!

Terrible, terrible experience. Within 4 months of service, I had to make several phone calls because my panel would sporadically announce "panel tamper" and the alarm would also go off by itself. After contacting Safe Haven, they charged me $25 for a technician to come to my house even though it was a result of my system not being set up correctly. Once the technician visited, he noticed that the panel had not been fully attached by the original technician which resulted in a sensor continually being triggered. Safe Haven continuously refused to waive the tech visit fee even though it was due to their poor installation. Luckily, ADT came through like a champ and credited me for the visit. In summary, at all costs, avoid Safe Haven...everyone makes mistakes but you have to take responsibility for them when you make them.

Regarding Ruben, if I was asked to recommend him to a higher level in his profession, based on my observation of his work performance I would not hesitate to recommend him.
I conclude by saying he is a very efficient worker.

He work is tidey and that is a plus to his work ethics.

Jeff roher is great he always gos out of his way for us.

Do not recommended, first off they came and install the security system and drill a whole right through a pvc pipe and had water all over my kitchen. I had a very hard time being reimbursed for the damages. Then when i tried to cancel the services they told me i had to pay 75 percents of the total contract of 3 years and that was over 1100$. That was 5 months ago i still haven't had my new system installed yet. But still forced to pay every month. This was a bad investment and a terrible experience

Had Paul setting up new equipment today and he was very polite, knowledgeable, and not too pushy for me to need to buy anything extra. I dont Have much to base this review on other than him, since i just Got it hooked up. But he has great customer service skills!

We had Peter Berexa come out to our new house to install our ADT alarm system and he was great. Very polite and well versed in his product knowledge. He answered all my questions fully. I was very happy with my package and with the service I received.

Installation was great nice staff. But the charges after the fact were a lot higher than I was originally led to believe. Not the best experience I ve had with professionals.

Overall very satisfied with the install and service! The install tech was savvy and quick, and offered reasonable suggestions. I work in the security industry so I had a pretty good idea about what I wanted to begin with.

2 big critiques.
1. The initial sales person used a pressure tactic I hate, stating that "this deal was only good for 48 hrs". True or not, that tactic is only to force people to buy without doing proper comparison shopping. I was already going to get the service or I would have turned it away there.
2. The tech who came to install my system installed the panel before doing the assessment of any additional costs that might come up. Again, I wanted it already and was going to go forward. But that seems like another "foot in the door" kind of tactic to pressure you in to purchasing things you didn't have on the table at first..

Osvaldo Armendariz was very knowledgeable and explained everything throughly.

Rude technician. System messed up after only 3 days of having it. And they took the money out of my account on July 30th for the first bill, I got the bill in the mail on the 31 of July and it said that it wasn't due until August the 14th. They are a rip off. Go somewhere else so you don't have to pay an overdraft fee when they won't refund your money for 20-30 days after they receive cancelation notice.

Do not waist your time with the deceptive practices of an authorized dealer like Safe Haven Security.

No gas, phone or insurance allowance reimbursement. A lot of wear and tear on your vehicle. If you have an accident there is no insurance in place to protect you or your vehicle.

Don't deceive employees saying that Safe Haven Security is the largest dealer for ADT in the world; simply not true.

The techs are great. Tim Champagne and Joel Smith are very friendly and helpful.

Out Technician, Wes Elginus was terrific!!!! Best ever because he explained security system in layman s terms, patient, orderly, efficiently! Very impressive!!!

Philip Fernandez was my tech. He was super nice and easy to work with. Very knowledgeable and explained things very well. Made me very comfortable in my new knowledge of how my new security system works.

My rep Felipe Jimenez and tech Timothee Champagne gave all around great service. They answered any and all questions I had, and provided so much insight that I felt extremely comfortable with the service they were providing. Tim gave great recommendations and not to the point where you felt like he was just trying to make a sale; it was as if he genuinely cared about your safety. He gave me all the info I would need to control the panel and all the little quirks I would need to know to make it mine and allow me to be comfortable with it. He took his time and explained everything thoroughly and made sure I was setup for success before he left. I would definitely recommend ADT/ Safe Haven if you re looking into getting home security. It really is crazy how much more comfortable you become just knowing it s there.

Ben was very thorough and he made the experience very smooth. He's personable and I wouldn't hesitate to recommend him as well as ADT and Safe Haven to friends and family.

Had my house set up as a smart home by Safe Haven. The install went very smoothly thanks to Dameon Scherf, the technician. He was very professional, knew the product inside and out, answered questions I had and could not have done a better job. Would highly recommend Safe Haven Security and especially Dameon. You won't go wrong.

Worst experience I ve had with a security/alarm company. I recently moved into a new house about 3 months ago. I was told by the company I would receive a 10% discount after 1 month. I called after about two months thinking it would easily be time to add this discount. I was told they don t sell the contract to ADT until 13 months and that s when I would see this discount or could call back to inquire. So that was initially a lie by the sales girl that told me all this. That isn t as big a deal as the initial conversation and the system working w my 1 year old home and the window and door sensors it currently has. I was told AFTER they put the alarm board on my wall and drilled holes that it wouldn t work. So basically my windows aren t even on the system. They also installed two cameras which run out of space after about half the month and only work when the alarm goes off, which is pretty much useless any other time. Not sure why they don t just overlap the space and delete them, nevertheless the cameras are useless after it records and runs out of space.

I was told by the tech that it would be close to 3800.00 dollars to install their window sensors. This system also doesn t have smoke detection. So after paying 65.00 a month I have three doors, no smoke detection and a pretty much nonexistent customer service. I had the power go completely out yesterday on the board. I called customer service and was told it would be 25.00 dollars to come and fix their board which only has a 90 day warranty. How convenient. The customer service rep basically just said you can pay this fee or you can call back when you want to pay it. I really had no choice. I ve contacted the rep and her boss, or at least have tried multiple times and so far haven t gotten any return calls. I was told that the recorded conversation where I agreed to everything didn t have the part about the 10% off discount I was told about initially, again very convenient they didn t record that part since that would have voided the 3 year contract.

I will never have any dealings with safe haven secueity again unless they make this right. I m hoping this 2 star rating will at least get me a phone call. My suggestion is to go with another company.

I decided not to continue with the system for personal reasons, however the system itself was fantastic. But the best part of my experience was in the team. Justin R. was absolutely great with the information ensure that what I was trying was what I wanted and I couldn't have been happier. Additionally, the install was by Paul, my understanding is he is the branch manager. He was a pleasure to have installing and gave me how the system works and how to best take advantage of my houses layout and functionality. Thank you all so much!!!!

Bill came out to my home at the expected time and proceeded to explain everything that he was going to do. Midway through the install, we started talking about more protection such as cameras, keyless entry and other numerous items. Since I live alone, I chose to get the extra items for my own peace of mind. I m so happy that he discussed everything with me. I will recommend him and ADT to everyone. Thank y all so much!!

Ben Jukich was wonderful! He took the time to walk us through every product that he recommended and let us take the time needed to decide what would work best for us. He was friendly, fun, kind, and knowledgeable as he talked with us during the set up and walked us through the system. ADT is lucky to have Ben as Technician to represent their company, products, and services.

Ruben assessed my home carefully and made sure my home had every thing necessary to keep it safe and secure. Overall, the process was easy and he went through every step so that I could know how to arm/disarm the system properly!

I had three phenomenal technician come to our home. Tony Picola, Andrew Lisano and Tomas. Each tech was professional and understanding of what I needed from my security system. I am very difficult and stuck in my ways but each gentleman took the time to explain and help me understand how to get what I need from my system. I changed my mind and went back a forth, even having them come back second day to complete the additonal work I requested. I appreciate these gentleman coming into my home. No pushy sales and I have a full house. They were very patience even when my 4 young children needed my complete attention. Thank you for sending these gentlemen into my home. I feel safe and secure but above all I was provided exceptional service which is a rarity these day.

I came to Safe Haven Security ADT through a realtor deal after purchasing my home. The initial evaluation was done by phone with an specialist who explained to me all the plans and benefits available to me. We agreed on a date and time for installation and everything went smoothly. Ryan Young and Harold Mansfield were my technicians, they arrived on time and were very knowledgeable. I appreciate the way ADT handles business, in a way that you re still dealing with people (very nice people in my case) while getting all your security needs met. I highly recommend Safe Haven Security ADT.

Guys please please please do your research before signing a contract with ANY Company, not just Safe Haven. I usually never leave reviews in general, but this experience just left a terrible feeling in my gut and I felt I should at least inform other brand new homeowners who are looking into getting a security system.

My SO and I just recently bought a home, and with all the good things that come with being a homeowner, there are also cons - and of course that con is being visited by solicitors. A man showed up at our house around 7-8pm yelling outside our house (assuming he wanted to see if anyone was home) as we have no doorbell in our home. Wondering what the fuss was, we went outside and were greeted by probably one of the nicest salesman I've ever met. He informed us that he was sent to us by our closing company - which neither of us recalled (so we were already a tad bit skeptical), but he was nice so we listened. He told us he was with an authorized ADT dealer and was very upfront about everything - which I'm grateful for because all the other negative reviews stated people were not aware of the 3-day cancellation timeline or the 3-year contract. He informed us about both and did not pressure us to get any equipments that he did not seem necessary.

After about talking for an hour outside, he ended up coming into our home (another red flag, please DO NOT let any strangers come into your home) and made us feel like he was a friend and we thought "you know what? we do need a security system" and we started the process of him taking our credit card info and social security number (also another red flag as most companies only require the last 4 digits of your social and not the full SSN to run a credit check). We were approved right away and he let us know that we would have 3 days to change our mind - again very upfront and he left us with all his contact information (he came out on a Friday, and please also note that Safe Haven counts Saturday as a business day). As soon as he left, we did not feel at ease and so we did some research and found out other people ran into the same situation and that they were having issues with the technological equipments they received and automatically we knew we had to cancel right away before a technician came out. There was no point signing a 3-year contract for equipment that will not provide us the security we should be granted as consumers. We let him know the next day we wanted to cancel the appointment with the technician and to further ensure the appointment was cancelled, we made sure to contact Safe Haven directly that following Monday. Luckily, everyone we dealt with (from the man that came to our house with the title 'Relocation Manager', to the customer service that helped us out on the phone) were really friendly which I know not everyone had the same experience. We were able to cancel the appointment before signing any contracts that would have locked us in so we did indeed get very very lucky. Again, I wanted to post this review to inform other homeowners and thought they at least deserved 2 stars as the people that we dealt with were helpful, but we did not appreciate someone coming out after work hours and then pushing their way into our home just tell sell us something that would have eventually failed down the line.
