My family and I have been coming here for many years. If it is one thing that never fails it is that the berries are very sweet, juicy and will definitely ruin a white shirt! I've lived in carlsbad almost my whole life and it is exciting to see that they have a pumpkin patch and corn maze.

The Haunted corn maze was very expensive for what you got. Many of the actors were busy on their phones and talking to one another to even notice you walking through. If you want to be scared go somewhere else. Sad since my husband looked forward to this and we drove all the way from Chula Vista.

Such a fun experience for a group of friends and family of all ages! These were honestly the best strawberries I have ever had and I never want to buy store bought strawberries again. Make sure to wear boots or shoes you don't mind getting dirty because it is a bit muddy, which is to be expected. I do think they are a little pricey. They charge based on the size of bucket and I do understand that you can get a lot of strawberries no matter the size of the bucket; however with a large group, such as my group of 12 when we went, it got to be very expensive. Maybe if they had a large group discount or some special would be greatly appreciated and definitely draw more visitors. Regardless, it was a great experience and fantastic tasting strawberries.

Amazing place to go pick your own strawberries! They have two bucket sizes, a large bucket for $20 including 2 entrance tickets, and a small bucket for $10 including 1 entrance ticket, you're given 30 minutes to go pick strawberries, which is enough time to fill your bucket full of perfect strawberries!

I had so much fun. It was so fresh and sweet. If you wanna eat there, bring water bottle to wash. I brought some salt and sugar. It tasted good with either salt or sugar hahah. There is small bucket for $10 and bigger bucket is $20. They accept credit, debit or cash.

Loved this place. Unfortunately the management has amnesia. Our school has been coming there for events for YEARS and every year its a huge hassle making arrangements. We email or call months in advance and on the day of they always act as if they had no idea we would be there and that we are an inconvenience. This last time they changed the prices the week before we got there and then refused to honor the price they gave us in writing months before. We have a very clean respectful group of young families and have never had any issues and yet we always are made to feel unwelcome when we come out. I just don't understand it. If we had a rowdy group that destroyed the plants or left a huge mess I could understand but we bring in business to you guys every year and cart off our own trash. Its sad because it was our most popular family connect event but honestly no one wants to organize it anymore.

Perfect for families wanting to occupy kids for 1-2 hours. Strawberries are sometimes hard to find (especially if you go at the end of the season when there's not much left), strawberries are neither organic nor cheap but showing your kids how nature does it is priceless.

We had so much fun here. It s a great spot to photo op. Sure, you re paying a little more than what you d pay at the grocery store. But you re not coming here only for strawberries. You re coming to pick strawberries with your family and capture the memories in the picturesque farm. Worth a stop if you re in the area.

Huge fields and great strawberries. (I'd have given it 5 stars, except the fields are located right next to the freeway, not in some bucolic location). The grandkids loved it. Yes, it's $20 for a large bucket with admission for 2 adults. You're in Carlsbad; if you can't afford it, don't come, but don't give the place 1 star and ruin it for everyone else who're relying upon your review to make their own decision. Kids 5 and under are admitted free and the attendant looked at our 4 grandkids aged 1 to 7 and said, without us asking, "they're fine, no ticket required". Of course, you can't count on that, and it could be an extra $5 for another admission for an older child or $10 with their own small bucket. Eat some strawberries in the field and you're sure to get your money's worth. That's what all kids do anyhow, and I'm sure that the owners are pricing that into their admission strategy.

I was there today 5/22/16 prices are as follows. Small bucket is about $10(includes 1 adult ticket) Large bucket $20(includes 2 adult tickets). Didnt seem all that unreasonable the strawberries are delicious. If your that much of a tightwad go buy them after they have been frozen 1-2 times in the store to keep them "FRESH". Or for $4.75 at the stand you can buy a plastic basket of fresh pre-picked strawberries they are great.

Loved bringing my 6 year old daughter here. She had so much fun. All the staff were super friendly and professional. The guidelines for Covid were being followed well. They have places where you could take pictures with the "Carlsbad Strawberry fields" sign in the background. They also have porta potties in good condition; there's a hand washing g station right outside. We found a lot of nice, red, ripe strawberries; it was at the end of the season though so a few of the strawberries were over ripe. Also, make sure to bring proper shoes and clothes that you don't mind getting muddy. We came around 3pm and the sun was hot. I would recommend bringing a hat since you are picking strawberries for awhile.

We had a great time here with our 3 year old. We went early on a Monday and there were only a few other groups there. It was not as muddy or messy as other reviews had warned, but I was glad to not wear nice shoes. We thought the price was definitely worth the experience. The girl working there told us to head to the top left of the U-Pick fields because people usually pick from the closest spots, we found a ton of delicious strawberries. Nothing you pick will be as big as what they sell at the stand, but they are still yummy and it was fun. Spent about an hour there.

Best strawberries I've ever had. We went towards the end of May. It was $20 for a bucket (probably half gallon bucket). If you're looking for a good deal on strawberries, go to the grocery store. This is about the experience. You can eat all you want while you're picking so go hungry if you love strawberries. Very fun and charming, staff were nice. Just a simple, fun activity to do as a couple or family.

First time coming here, came during the pandemic and it was a nice change to sitting at home watching Netflix. People were required to wear masks. Tons of people but the fields are big so you were never within 6 feet of anyone. Enough for everybody! Currently it s $10 for a small bucket. And if you don t want it, it s $5 admission. You get to eat as many strawberries as you like while picking. The secret to picking is picking the unripe one because they ripen up very fast after picking. Within a day it got all mushy!

The Strawberry fields were amazing! The prices were reasonable, and on the day we went it was not too busy. The strawberries were so delicious and it was a great experience for the kids. The bucket was way to big for our family which you don't realize because your all having so much fun! Have the kids take their time! Our kids rushed though and this great experience was over very quickly.

I use to come here all the time to pick strawberries after I went to the flower fields now they are charging $10 per person to even enter the strawberry field. $10 for one person and for one bucket. That is pure ridiculous. I use to pay $10 for one small bucket and me and 2 of my parents would pick strawberries until we filled the bucket. I brought my aunt to the fields & it was four of us and they wanted $40 out of us. I'm sorry but I didn't want to pick damn strawberries for $40!!!!! I just wanted to take pictures of my family and have my aunt pick strawberries. That's not worth $40. This place is horrible now. Not worth going.

Turn and run the other way! The rules are ridiculous. We went with three children. We did not need 3 $10.00 buckets. That would have been far too many strawberries. We purchased the $20.00 for our 3 kids (one was under 5 years of age). They would not let us enter the berry picking area without purchasing another $20.00 bucket for my husband and I. We had to stay behind the roped off area monitoring our children from a distance. Felt like a law suit waiting to happen. What could they possibly be thinking? It's not like a family would get more strawberries... the bucket size stays the same. This is the last time we'll go. Next year our 5 year old will not get in for free, so to have all three kids pick we would need 2-$20.00. How could we possibly eat that many. This business is truly an example of "penny wise, pound foolish". It would not cost them anything to allow a family to use the same bucket. It might save them the possibility of an injury due to lack of proper supervising. Instead, we left dissatisfied and knowing we'll never return. Apparently, based on the other reviews, others feel the same way. What a shame to take a strong business and run it a muck because of silly rules and greed.

Expensive, you pay 10 times then what you get in super market ! You charge for fun ? That's exploitation right here. People, let's teach them lesson, business like these make tuns of money and don't pay tax ?! They have started to ripping of, let's avoid going or start sharing about another good competitor and let this place realize it's mistake and take corrective actions. They should promote community activity and be socially responsible and give back but they just want to take away and with all GREED. This is unacceptable.

I've been coming here for almost 15 years as a family tradition on Mother's Day. Now they charge admission. Won't be coming here anymore. $20 for a bucket allows only two people on the fields. Any additional person is five dollars each, sucks to be you family of four.

Overpriced. There are many other places to take the little ones that offer just as much fun. $5 entry fee $10 maze $20 for half an hour in the jumpers (insane price) We went on a Wednesday and there was no food being sold. Maybe it s better on a weekend but I wouldn t waste my time or money to come back.
