Eugene Davis was a true professional! He made the installation process simple and efficient. Less than 24 hours from my first contact with ADT I was up and running! Many thanks for a job well done. Highly recommended!! I have to add this. After eugene finished the initial installation we realized we forgot about something else we needed. He completely understood, came right back a few days later, and again seamlessly got us all hooked up. Truly thankful for this guy! Thanks again!!

UPDATE 5 months later. After being with this scam of a company for 5 months. After the first 3 months I started having issues to the account. When I had personal things stolen from my front porch and have no video record of it. When I called to complain they told me to go with the insurance company they aren't liable. So getting this straight I spend almost $80 to NOT monitor and report and they wont do anything about it. When trying to call them about the ADT Money Back Guarantee. I find out they are just using the ADT name to get people to think they are part of the company and will not honor the ADT guarantee. That you are only to see if the items work for 3 DAYS to determine if it s worth it. Which we all know a brand new item and system is going to work at least a month until you starting having problems. Issues I have had SO FAR are stuff stolen from my porch, people at my door and not getting notified and when going to see who pushed the button says retry or troubleshoot. Getting an error message all the time using the app, sensor going off everyday and getting a call about glass alarm break sometimes twice a day. Then when calling to have a techs (which now cost $25) to have some one tell me its the Wi-Fi everything works fine on ADT end. Now the going back and forth of and being on the phone for hours getting nowhere. After they get you signed up they could care less since you are stuck in a contract for 3 years. By the way DO NOT call the actual ADT company they can not help you and tell you that its not their company. If I would have know that Safe Haven ADT was different then the actual ADT company I wouldn t have signed up with them. The ADT actually will help you shoot even the lady from the actual company said what a pain it was to get in touch with the company. Getting things stolen from my front porch was the last straw then to be told I understand your frustration. I just want out of this contract so I can go with someone I trust to watch over my belongings.

I recently had a security system installed at my home. Trevor Birkhofer was the technician that did the installation. He was thorough, patient, and efficient. He offered a number of alternatives to the existing system and was willing and able to adapt to whatever changes needed to be made. What's more, he communicated his arrival time and gave me a real estimation of the installation time and the subsequent training. A true professional.

There was a miscommunication issue between corporate and the authorized dealer and eventhough I was frustrated and not with the best attitude Stuart McCullough managed to stay calm and communicated with his supervisor to get my system installed and give me a sense of satisfaction. I appreciate his professionalism

Bill Dillard was the security engineer that installed my security system. He was very thorough throughout the whole process. Any questions I had, he answered not only in words but with demonstration whenever possible. His presentation of the plans offered was detailed to make sure you understood what it covered and to make sure you weren't getting anything you didn't need. An overall great experience!

Terrible company. They do not stand behind their products. They will send techs with little to no experience that are unable to keep your system up and running. Our alarm and cameras have been broken most of the time we have had it. When you have a tech come out be prepared for him to be there at your house for HOURS. And it may not get fixed then. If you want to waste your time and money this is definitely the way to go. They will blame your house and your wifi for all the problems. The only people at the company that are confident in what they do is the cancelation department. I pay $80 a month for my useless broken system and they want over $1500 to get rid of them. I honestly hate this company. I will let anyone who will listen know how bad they are. Useless junk.

Melissa Roszhart has done a wonderful job in helping me with all the technology Safe Haven has offered. She was so patience with me since I m technologically challenged. She was do kind. Did not make me feel like an idiot. Did not make me feel like I was bothering her. On a scale of. 1 to 10. She is a 20 +love working with her.

We just had ADT installed over the weekend, including an electronic front door lock to lock with the alarm.com app, and a front driveway camera. Today while I was at home alone with a 6 year old child, a man with a warrant and prior felonies (as we came to find out) tried to break into my home, and broke into my garage and was attempting to steal one of our vehicles when the sheriff intercepted him, and he was arrested and taken to jail! Thanks to ADT, my front door was secured and I was able to check this on the app, and we were able to save footage and hand it over to the sheriff for prosecution! I was also able to watch the camera from my phone while on the call with the 911 dispatcher so I could tell her what the person looked like and where they were. I am so glad we had the system installed! Things could have been so much worse.

My intent with writing this review is to help others who are debating whether or not to buy security from Safe Haven to know what they are getting into. I really wish me and my wife would've read the 1 star reviews before signing our contract. Usually I find one star reviews to be untrustworthy due to the anger/passion that's potentially clouding the writers' judgement, but in this case, I agree with most of the things said by the other 1 star reviewers. If I list all of the problems with Safe Haven, this review would be too long to keep anyone's interest so I'll give the biggest fault or two with the whole business, and what I wish I would've known before buying 3 years of this. 1. Safe Haven sells ADT security and yet, in my experience, ADT doesn't even know they exist. So, if you think you get that 3 or 6 month trial period within which you can still cancel if your system has 3 or more problems, (the one that ADT offers), think again. They have different contracts, but it feels like that is pretty well hidden. We were passed back and forth from ADT to Safe Haven and no one seemed to know what was going on. 2. SafeHaven has a contract clause where you can also get out of it if their system malfunctions a certain number of times and they can't fix the problem. But what does this mean in practicality? That they'll never let you out of their contract. They will replace your old system before letting you go. We literally had our system not go off when it should have, 10 or 20 times, and even worse, had it go off when it wasn't supposed to TWICE, waking us up in the middle of the night thinking their was someone in our house. It literally did the opposite of what it was supposed to, and now we literally don't use it anymore because it makes us feel LESS SAFE. And yet we can't get out of the contract for 3 years. We'll likely pay the 75% and get out now VS in 3 years because of how much we have disliked the system. 3. I could go on with other complaints, but I think those are by far the most serious, and upsetting, and reasons I would heavily encourage everyone to stay away from Safe Haven. Maybe ADT itself is good, but buying it through Safe Haven is a mistake. Plus they only have 1 brick and mortar office and its in Missouri. So if you have any problems, you'll likely get passed around on the phone until you're so frustrated you give up. Oh, and they wouldn't even tell me where their in person office was over the phone... they would only email it to me. Not a huge deal, but thing after thing added up to make this whole experience feel like a scam. I hope that this helps at least one person to decide to stay away from this company. I'm not even sure if all the positive reviews on here are real... If you look on Yelp and on the BBB you definitely get a different story. I expect to get a response starting with this: "Thank you for providing your feedback and letting us know about this issue, __________. We set a high standard for ourselves and are truly sorry to hear that standard was not met in your interaction with us...." And then for nothing to be done about our issues. At this point I've given up on getting our money back, but I hope someone else reads this and saves their money.

Christopher Grantham went above and beyond to ensure we were not only confident but satisfied with our home security purchase. He was able to convince my wife who was initially apprehensive and uncertain, after she grilled him relentlessly. He even was able to maintain a patient and professional throughout her interrogation. We are very happy with our purchase and even happier that Christopher was our salesman. He even went as far as providing us with his personal number if we had any questions. Sure enough we ended up reaching out shortly after our install, and within 30 seconds after texting him, Chris gave us a call and was able to thoroughly answer our questions. My wife and I are beyond satisfied with our experience and purchase, all thanks to Chris!

Scott Trudell was incredible. At the time of our appointment I had 4 contractors in my house for various tasks. Scott was extremely patient and when I was available we created a custom solution to my exact needs. He provided me everything I needed to know, readily answered questions, gave me many options, worked to keep our solution within our budget, stayed late to make sure everything was done without compromises and we were fully informed at how the system operated. Scott is a A++++ installer and educator. You would be fortunate to have him install your security system.

My review is not about a recent service but rather a recent sales experience with relocation manager Basil Pappas in Jacksonville, FL. I was gracious enough to open my door to listen to him but instead of a sales pitch, I heard rude and insulting passive aggressive comments. After declining the service he was selling and telling him I could not afford it, I said "sorry" and he said "don't be sorry to me, be sorry to your family when something happens to them" and looked at the direction of my child. He clearly mentioned he was not commission based so I do not understand why he was getting so angry or aggressive when I declined several times. There was another insulting comment he made about living on the Southside and how it wasn't safe. If I just bought a home on the Southside, what kind of sales tactics are you using if you're going to insult me on my own property in my home and where I live. If I see him or his car in my neighborhood again, I will call the police and put a complaint with the city.

DO NOT GET A SECURITY SYSTEM THROUGH SAFE HAVEN! We have had the system in our house for only a few of days and we already have sensors falling off of doors and when we went to try and cancel they are claiming a totally different policy from what the sales associate was telling us. I feel like they have been trying to take advantage of us throughout this entire process!

Jeff Roher has given exceptional service. He was very patient in teaching my children and I the very important steps on how to use the new alarm system. We are and will feel safer now. Stay away from this company!!!!! Customer service is horrible. It took 2 days to get in touch with anyone from the company since my purchase on Friday. The contract states thar you have 3 business days to cancel your conteact without penalty. The sales man tried to tell me Saturday and Sunday count as business days and if I canceled my contract I would have to pay 2,000!! When I finally spoke to a customer service rep. she gave me the wrong fax number twice. I spoke with ADT and they told me I should have received a 100 gift card and equipment they tried to sell me should have been free with the promotional offer. I am currently going through this. This is the most dishonest company I have ever dealt with!!!

Had the best from an awesome sales rep Myles to the best field agent Alex! Alex was so helpful to me and explained everything to my son! If I could recommend those two for everyone please request them! I did not feel pressured or rushed. Alex knew this was my first home, so he went over and above with his customer service. Great Job!

The sales person Rodney was very professional. He went through all of our options so we were able to pick the package that was best for us. Jessica, who can and installed our system, was very knowledgeable , patient, and polite. She pointed out how we could better secure our house and install new smoke detectors that call the fire department directly. Both should get raises.

Tech convinced us to install saying we could cancel anytime. Turns out we are locked into a 3 yr contract with a 75% remaining contract value cancellation fee. Talk about a scam. Be sure to bust out your magnifying glass when they show up with pages of paperwork. Avoid at all costs.
