Rock Auto rocks. Great website, fast easy ordering, and they easily corrected their one mistake out of numerous orders. I just wish they carried more parts - they don't have EVERYTHING I need.

Wrong items sent. Offered me 50% refund. They ship wrong items and blame the supplier so I am to get burned for the mistake. Just lost a long time customer.

Low prices? But will you get the part is the question. And what they do when you dont is not what I would call customer service.

Rock Auto is a great place to buy your parts, they get the parts out the door very quickly. The only problem I have is that they use the USPS for some of their shipping. That is always the slowest part of the process. USPS sucks, you would swear they are still using horses to deliver the mail!
Please Rock Auto, use UPS or Fed-X!

I would give them 0 stars if I could! I received a damaged part in shipment, replacement was also clearly damaged in shipping (not packed adequately). Customer service which only communicates via email is refusing to provide a return shipping label to send back the second damaged replacement part, now they claim that it was "from manufacturing, slight deformation" which can be read in the screenshot attached. No one to answer phones and IF they decide to return your voicemail, they will just tell you to use their website forms or email. COMPLETE DEAD END, THEY WILL TAKE YOU IN CIRCLES.

Needed parts are available at very competitive prices, definitely will shop at rock auto first.

Sent a bent a/c condensor. Only received a credit no refund.

I did my research and discovered this company has horrible customer service and consistently shipping wrong parts. Before I discovered this I emailed them and got a response later on that did not even answer my question just referred me to their website, weird. I informed him I took my business elsewhere.

I wouldn t recommend, just read reviews. If you see the same things consistently mentioned in reviews, it s probably true!

Rock Auto has all the name brand parts you will need for far less than your local stores, and if you're trying to save even more they have discount parts by other makers too. All you have to do is plan ahead to do the repair in a few days when the parts arrive! I've never had a problem unless I ordered wrong, but the return policy is easy.

There price on a Jeep neutral safety switch saved me $200 over all my local auto parts stores.

This place has a good price for parts if you can find them. The website is not easy to navigate. The worst part about this company is the shipping. They are never on time. They use DHL which everyone knows is slower than Sam Hamilton, the 1st pony express rider. When I finally get a hold of them, which is hard to do, they say they are not responsible for the shipping. I have ordered several times for next day delivery and it takes 3 to 4 days. I will just pay more on Amazon and have it in two days. I can't do business with a company like this anymore, I need my vehicles on the road faster.

Last week I ordered a part and paid for overnight shipping. 4 days later I have not received the part. There is no way to contact the company. Their "returns and problems" will not allow me to file a complaint because the part is still listed as "shipping". Earlier in the year I ordered disk brake rebuild kits for my truck. They took 8 weeks to arrive. Do NOT deal with this company if you need a part in a timely manner.

Ordered a serpentine belt which stated "Continental" as the manufacturer. Upon arrival, though the part number was the same, the belt was a Good Year Gatorback, not what I ordered. If I wanted the Good Year I would of ordered the Good Year. I have to pay for return shipping as the part number is correct, though the invoice says Continental. No way to get a hold of someone, no phone, no email, no chat, screw Rock Auto, will never use a company that has no Customer Services contact.

They had exactly what I needed cheaper than what I could find at the local wrecker, and shipped in less than a week, including border crossing. Buy from here again? Believe it. Awesome quality and service.

I have made over ten purchases in the past eight months. Every time I do a price check, it is close to 50% less from RockAuto. (Even when shipping is added, I am saving a considerable amount). I still do price checks, but rarely do I order from another place. I am shocked at how quickly the parts arrive. I can order on Tuesday or Wednesday and have the parts for the weekend. (The parts are coming from warehouses in the US and I live in southern Alberta Canada). Also, they state the price in Canadian dollars.
My last order had a defect, and I needed to return it. It was so easy! Rock Auto emailed me the shipping label, I called the carrier. That s it. I was notified when they received the part and then again when refund was processed. From first call to refund was less than a week.

after being told that I was the 3rd person in line for about 5 minutes finally got someone live....I was having problems locating a price on injector o-rings for my jaguar(was frustrated to say the least) I then get a jerk who tells me that they are not there to give pricing over the phone...THERE ARE THOUSANDS OF WEBSITES THAT NEED MY BUSINESS...ROCK AUTO CAN KISS MY ASS

I've been through 4 power steering pumps from Rockauto. Almost all of them failed within the warranty period (despite being installed by a dealer). This latest power steering pump (an ACDelco unit) failed before it was even installed in the car. I live in Ireland so between shipping costs and customs duty it was easiest to simply replace the pumps each time. Between mechanics' bills, shipping costs and customs duty I have spent well over USD2000 on power steering over the last 3 years.

In this last episode I offered to buy a new pump for $140 if Rockauto would be willing to cover the cost of shipping it as a show of good faith. They refused. I can;t believe their blinkered vision.

so they sent the wrong part in a box marked with the correct part number.
(Carb rebuilding kit for a 2V and i needed a 4V kit) kit was super discounted so i was not out much was willing to reorder another kit just did not want to pay shipping again .called on phone and the person on the other end was SUPER RUDE!!!!!!! . i tried to explain i lived in a campground and had limited internet , he was of no help at all and told mt they where an internet retailer and i needed to submit a request and wait for an answer . i tried to explain we really did not even have a printer .......no help at all.
if you buy from them your taking a chance of loosing your money with a wrong part and no help from them and just a nasty guy on the phone.
Only out around 5 bucks ....thank god.

When I received my 1st truck part I was very pleased with the promptness of my order and your reasonable price. I checked 5 places here in Ms. and you had them all beat here in my area. The part arrived 2 days earlier than expected. Hopefully this will be the correct fix I need to get me back on the road again. Thank you RockAuto. Their prices can't be beat. Most of my orders are received very fast.
But last order was next day air and I received in in three days, and either the part (master cylinder) they sent was wrong or it is missing some some plugs. I called to inquire and their only answer is "if you are not happy with the part, send it back" . They do not try to help you figure it out. Their customer service is very poor, to saythe least.

PARTS COME ALWAYS BEFORE THERE SUPPOSE TO , AND THEY ALWAYS BEEN THE RIGHT ONES. CANT SAY THAT ABOUT THE LOCAL STORES.

I was well satisfied with the Bosch spark plugs and, as usual, Rock Auto was on top of their game. I have never been disappointed using this company.

Was robbed $125 for a defective part leading to an expensive breakdown on the expressway. Ordered headlights and we're also poorly packed and broken. When returned the part they later requested the original box, or not get nothing. If I wanted the part back I would be charged. DO NOT PURCHASE FROM HERE. PARTS HAVE A HIGH PROBABILITY OF BEING DEFECTIVE. THUS THE LOW PRICES

Have used Rock Auto for parts on numerous cars. Haven't been let down once with their service, support, or product quality. This company truly break the rule that "you get what you pay for." I always feel I get more than what I paid for. Outstanding communication, fast ship times, and prices no one on the block is able to touch.

Ordered a exhaust resonator for 2006 Malibu. Arrived very fast. When it was time to replace the unit, I discovered it was about 3 inches too short. And NO, I did not cut too much off the original resonator. I cut it right up against the old muffler body. Very strange but the new resonator appeared to have been cut off with a torch. I had to go to Advance auto parts to buy an adapter fitting to get the proper length, then had to weld it on to the resonator. I'm not sure if I will take the chance with Rock Auto in the future. Disappointed.
Not sure if I will order from Rock Auto again.

I have always worked on car as long as I can remember, going to the parts store has always been a hassle. With Rock Auto fast shipping has led to a easy and painless experience. I've ordered parts from others an the seem to be more expensive and with the "free shipping" that seems takes longer to get to my home. I've ordered parts from one company and had to wait a week and a half to arrive, where with Rock Auto I've ordered parts on a monday and they arrive on Wednesday. Rock Auto seems to have everything that I need to get my car or trucks running right. Keep up the good work Rock Auto!!

to start, i have been a customer for some time,and have always been very happy with the parts and fast service. today i am not happy .some vary expensive parts that were ordered,but did not fit , i was told i could not return for the correct ones. it appears that they are great at selling parts but come up short on customer service.

I've had several amazing experiences ordering from Rock Auto, out of hundreds of parts ordered only one time did a part show up broken ( truthfully it happened during shipping... I blame Fed Ex ) they had a new part shipped to me before the remaining parts on the order were delivered. Everything shows up when it's supposed to our earlier than expected, and the collectible magnets are really cool.

I loved that I could pick the price and that there was a wide variety of parts and even some that mechanics have told me that only my manufacturer sales. They shipped my item quickly and efficiently and I had no problems at all. Don't let the low price fool you these are durable parts to.

This is my first experience with Rock Auto and I have been pleasantly surprised. I was able to identify and purchase the proper air and diesel filter for my old Kubota tractor and the price was better than I could get from local suppliers, even when shipping was added.

very disatisfied with their service. You cannot get a real person online to discuss any ongoing problems or questions. We ordered a set of 4 disc brakes and rotors for front and rear and only recieived the fronts. We were told when we finally reached a live person that the order was correct even though the listing online was for both units. Either the pricing was incorrect or the person did not know what they were talking about. I was already to order the rear brakes when I decided not to because I don't know what I would have received. I went to an auto parts store, bought the rear brakes at a cost of only $20 more but with more peace of mind.

Years ago, I was really glad to find Rockauto. I live in Canada where car parts are two to three times more expensive than in the States. Many of the preventative maintenance parts that I have installed would never have been done, due to the high cost here.

Ordered parts ,waited until you said it was available and a shipping label was generated for USPS. Received tool to install part. Weeks later find notice that the part is not in stock and I should try to order another comparable part. Note that I wasn t informed of the part being unavailable but had to search to find out why it hadn t arrived. Do you offer a negative star rating

Tried to place my first order order tonight. . Your state tax calculations are off for my area . You are charging 9.5% vs my mailing area tax is 7%. Not happy. Plus I noticed you ship related parts from different locations which run up the cost.

Good luck getting the right item or getting your money back if they make a listing mistake on their website. Purchased a 35$ item and did receive the 25$ brand and their argument is: The part fit, is so then its not ours problem.

The part arrived in a short time and fit and is working well.

I have never had the wrong part and I have ordered over 20 parts in the last year. The part pictures are great and delivery is fast.

I use Rock Auto unless I absolutely need the part today. I take care of three cars in my household. I can get OEM or at least Major name brands at prices I paid when I worked in dealerships. It does not make financial sense to shop anywhere else. They Rock!

First time customer, paid a little extra for genuine a/c delco parts, parts arrived loose in a box so I couldn't tell where the came from, Chinese parts passed off as oem, and one wrong part and want me to pay return shipping, hope these crooks are out of business soon, turning it over to bbb, do not buy from these people !!!!!

I absolutely hate Rock Auto and would NOT recommend it to anyone! I ordered a part 1-month ago and they sent it to the wrong address TWICE. So, I get a refund and re-order the part and about a week and a half later I get the part finally , and it's BROKEN. I will not be using this website ever again and I wouldn't suggest you do either!

Used to love rockauto and ordered all the time. Have big collection of there magnets. But last time I ordered will be my last !! I was never so frustrated with the return process... this is absolutely ridiculous!! I received somebody else order!! Had to answer million questions. I was exp
ecting to receive two parts but received only one and it was not even my order... I request a replacement and they're expecting me to return two, TWO items and I just simply don't have it... because only one part was received. So I send back one! What's now?...

Years ago RockAuto was the bast way to get parts. Customer service was always nice and returns were easy. Now the CS is rude and condescending while they are constantly trying to nickle and dime you on returning items even under warranty.

I've used Rock-Auto in the past, and now needed parts for my 97' Ford F350 XL Crew-Cab 4x4 460.
Ordering what I need is always easy, their prices just can't be beat, and the shipping is faster than other places I've used.
You'll find only good people at Rock-Auto, and whenever you've got a question about a part, or if there's a problem ..... you always get a real person to talk too, and they know their stuff.
The next time I need parts, Rock-Auto is my go to place !

My experiences with them have been phenominal... They have never let me down and I have been ordering pretty regular for about 4 or 5 years now... I will recommend them to everyone I know...

First off, they BADLY fake their reviews. Check around on the internet, there's only one place where the reviews are good. Secondly, if you have problems with your order, they will do nothing but give you excuses about why any issues with your order are your fault, not theirs. Be prepared for solutions that fail to solve anything and nothing but excuses and blame shifting. And if you have anything bad to say about them on Facebook, they will immediately block you and delete your comments. Very poor company, awful customer service, they will ship the wrong products in the wrong box and then blame it on their suppliers. So many issues, I could write a novel about them. They're always trying to control the narrative about their company rather than just doing a good job and letting real people say good things about them. Absolutely will never give them another shot. I had 5 issues in 20 orders. This wasn't a one-off problem on my end, this was repeated issues.

i was satisfied with rockauto until today sent a part back that did not my 2001 ford focus 9.02 it cost me to send it back got my credit for 10.70 for part no refund for the shipping when i purchased the product so basically ive spent 9.02 plus the original shipping for a part they have this is really bad business i called today and discussed this ask for a store credit for the shipping i paid for originally nope we cant do that

They get one star from me, trying to reach a live person to get help in placing an order or help finding the right part is virtually impossible, you would think that they wanted to make money and have more customer service reps to take more calls so they could make more money from selling their parts.. Bummer today I was looking for a list of front end parts to replace all the front end parts on my Classic but no real people to talk to.. What a loss, JEG'S got me taken care of with a full parts list and price to match and I didn't have to look threw millions of pages trying to get the parts I needed..

Ordered my first part from them was incorrect. The website didn't cover my problem with the part. (Mechanically it works but will not properly clip into its designated spot correctly.) and I cannot get a human on the phone. I don't want a full refund but would have settled on a partial one to cover the cost of some plastic adhesive to make it work. Less trouble for me and maybe them too. To bad they don't have actual customer service.

I should have looked at the reviews before ordering when regarding their unreasonable return policy and non-existent customer service. The parts were for a restoration, so not used right away...you guessed it...it was out of the time frame. I got some email answers, but when I sent the last response stating the above they said my ticket was closed!! Buyer beware!! Good reason to buy local and not order from the web...support someone close to you...not these morons!! Their prices may be slightly lower, but the shipping is exorbitant and return policy ridiculous!!

Easy to find parts. Parts were correct, cheaper than anywhere else and delivered as stated. If you have a day or 2 on your jobs Rockauto will definitely save you money.

I've been meaning to use Rock Auto for years, well I finally did it and I'm elated. I needed 2 sway bar links on my 2010 Dodge Caliber. They said 6 days for shipping and they came in 5 days. Even with shipping I saved 40.00 and I received the exact part I ordered.......

Bought the lower grade struts (not the cheapest brand) and though the fit was great the parts were junk. The second I turned wheels from side to side the bearing plates were making noise and 1 even rattled slightly over bumps. Called them and they said either I pay for another set, when new one's arrive send old one's back or send back the bad one's; Problem is 1) this is my daily driver(so car can't be sitting there with no struts) 2) couldn't afford to buy another set. Needed car the following week to make a 5 hour trip to my son's wedding so I had 4 days to order an install struts. Not gonna happen due to my work schedule. Can't put old struts on due to one was broke hence the strut replacement. I mentioned all this to lady on phone and was informed basically sorry but only 2 options. I was not happy. In fact I was going to be driving through the city they're in and could drop parts off. Still told either buy another set or send back. So screw Rock Auto and they're junk ass parts Parts Geek is better!!!

The first time I went to tork the rotors the threads started to strip out.

I have been ordering parts from RockAuto for several years. I have not had a problem yet. The orders have always arrived ahead of the scheduled time, or on the scheduled date. The parts have always been the correct parts, and the cost was lower than all parts places around me. Good deals!!

My local mechanic got a quote from a NAPA retailer for a A/C compressor for a BMW 128i (my car) - the quote was 1095$, the BMW dealer quoted 2400$ - Since my car is a cabriolet the A/C is really optional - we rarely have temps going above 80F in Canada. I decided to have the repair done anyway. Found out about Rockauto their prices and solid reputation. Ordered the parts (a compressor, condenser, o rings, expansion fittings, dessicator) for 700$ less - inclusive of taxes than my local mechanic's quote. He agreed to install the Rockauto parts with no issue. Will order again from Rockauto - shipping to Canada includes prepaid duty. Amazing

My experience was very bad. I use rockauto when evet i can . But this time they left me with bad vibes. They were disrespectful to my wife when she eas trying to get information on a part that was ordered .The whole experience felt like a scam . They even got the part wrong when trying to confirm the order. Then when i requested a refund. That i didnt want there parts or sevice any longer they flat out refused and hung up . I tried tracking what was ordered and could not track the parts .So now i sit here out of alot of money and still with a broke done vehicle which i still need to buy a part for through someone else and dish out more money on something i already paid for. Never again will i ever shop here again.

Horrendous Customer Service

Ordered a parallel flow a/c condenser. The part I received was an older serpentine style, that wasn't even powder coated.

Customer service advised me to go to the site for a return label. The cost of the return label plus original shipping exceeded the part's price. Meaning I would owe them money to return a part.

When I indicated this they closed the ticket on me.

Returning a part as indicated would cost me more that keeping the wrong part. This mistake was rock auto's or the manufacturer's I as the consumer shouldn't have to pay out of pocket to fix it.

Do not try and return items. They might rip you off too...

Rock Auto does have a great selection and luckily they offer two-day shipping (which I needed) but hopefully they send you the correct items, otherwise you loose.

I ordered a Right-Hand head gasket and a few other seals and gaskets to go along with a repair. I was SENT a Right-Hand package with a LEFT-Hand head gasket inside. Because of THEIR mistake I had to go to a local auto parts store and purchase an entire head gasket SET (they did not offer just the head gasket). So when I went to return the other seals and gaskets they told me I was S.O.L. for shipping costs (which were high for two-day shipping).

Even tried to call and have them remedy the situation which they understood but said it was my loss not theirs. That's a pretty bad business policy in my eyes. They made the mistake which made the other parts not necessary, not my incorrect ordering.
