I will never order from he again I ordered a front kit with upper and lower control arms for both sides the site said that this kit will work. It took me more than 30 day to even work on my truck due to my job has me on the road for 3 months. So little to say I'm stuck with the wrong parts.

Brutal customer service. Great for cheap parts when their system works. If anything goes wrong you will spend hours on the phone multiple times with terrible staff. Consistent promises to return calls or provide solutions but no follow through. Beware if anything goes wrong.
Terrible customer service. Ordered a clutch from them, didnt fit, returned it. The pilot bearing (a $2 part) was missing. I trued to return the pilot bearing to get my refund but they said it never got to them. They wont give me a refund because of a missing $2 part from an order over $100. They wont even give me a partial refund... thats theft unless if I want to pay them $20 to have them ship back the part that doesnt fit. I used to love ordering from these guys... Im going back to O'Reillys
Rock Auto prices are incomparable. I've looked at every Auto store and nothing beats there prices or service for that matter. As a matter fact, my last order, a mass air flow sensor, came in one day instead of two. Top rate service all the way around. Continue the fantastic work

I called to get assistance with purchasing a part I've purchased in the past, due to hitting a deer... and it makes me so mad when I can't speak to a live person to get help. "Customer Service" is online only! What the heck?! Customer service/Good customer service is so hard to come by! I LOVE it when I'm able to get one on one, face to face or voice to voice (with a person and not a machine). Grr!
Rock Auto always has the part I need at a reasonable price. My beer fridge in the garage is almost completely filled with their magnets.

I ordered the wrong part due to horrible descriptions and the lack of an abbreviation guide/etc. Jumbled descriptions are confusing.
Paid 21 for part/shipping, after everything I am only receiving 3 bucks back. So now the correct part i need is about 50 dollars w/shipping PLUS the ~20 bucks I have lost.
Customer support did not want to help me out at all! HORRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE. The least they could do is give me a discount or something to keep me as a customer especially since i was polite and requested my refund as a store credit and still would purchase correct part from them!

Shipped me a damaged/defective part and refused to make it right. Claimed the damage occurred in shipping--it didn't. All packaging was pristine and undamaged; could only have been damaged prior to shipping. Too many other online suppliers to use this shady outfit again.

I've ordered from Rock Auto a handful of times in the past, usually when the local place tells me they have to order the part. I simply do not know why I bother; never, NOT ONCE, have they ever shipped anything to me that didn't take over THREE (3) weeks to get! At least once the order was "lost" and they acted like it was my friggin' fault.
Here it is, again, that the parts I ordered, and paid for "Priority Mail" still have not arrived, more than two weeks past the "Priority 2 Day's". These two parts fit in a small USPS box, not like I ordered a friggin' drivetrain.
At least before you could call and get someone on the phone; now they have a recording, A RECORDING, saying, to every button one might push, "EVERYTHING WE KNOW ABOUT ANYTHING IS ON OUR WEBSITE". Well, here's one thing NOT on your website and I'm here to say, Rock Auto sucks. SUCKS, with a capital SUCKS.
Do yourself a favor, go to your local place. At least if they screw up, you can see them face-to-face, and not hide behind a recording.
I have ordered several parts from Rock Auto with no issues. Then they sent the wrong part. After answering 300 questions, I got the return authorized but the return label button would not work. I tried it several times and I just get error messages. I tried to use the email button and it also would not function. I tried calling them and got a very rude receptionist who will not inform anyone of the issue or let me talk to anyone as they do not have customer service available by phone. I have been happy with Rock Auto to this point but if this is how their customer service is for a returning customer then I will no longer purchase from them.
Bought many parts from rock auto and never had many problems, other than a wiper blade I bought which I put onto the car and it was not made to the right dimensions and they wouldnt return it.

Purchased E3 spark plugs from rockauto for my 1995 Chevrolet K1500 5.7L V8 and that is what I received. I didn't find out until pursuing what I assumed to be a manufacturer defect in the plugs that rockauto sold me the incorrect plugs. Because of this my valves and plugs played a game of tag until the motor experienced catastrophic failure 120.4 miles after installation. Turns out rockauto is not an authorized distributor of E3 parts and never contacted E3 for usage information of the parts they acquired from an authorized dealer wholesale closeout. Their negligence has caused me so much grief. They are only willing to reimburse me for the spark plugs! Isn't this fraud?!?!
Had very few problems with RockAuto, but they definitely can be overlooked due to their great customer service, parts, and pricing. Been using RockAuto for a hot minute and always put their name out there when I can. I even got all the magnets they send in the package on my fridge lol.
And not to take shots at anyone, BUT FOR ANYONE THAT USE THEIR SITE!!!!!!!!!
Remember, you get what you pay for. Either buy that 49.99 part from ACDelco and have RockAuto deliver it or go to NAPA down the street.
If you decide to be cheap and buy the Wholesale closeout part that costs 8.99 instead, you will be learning the hard way. They have great products and uber competitive prices. Don't be cheaper than you have to. ONLY GO WITH NAMES YOU KNOW, LIKE ACDELCO, RAYBESTOS, STANDARD, or REMY (just to name a few...)!

I have dealt with them on numerous occasions for my truck and my mustang. I honestly haven't had any real issues and when I call my issue if any is taken care of, which is what is expected. There was a time I was late getting a core returned and I received in store credit instead of money back. I was fine with that. I was in the wrong and at least I got something instead of nothing.

Horrible I ordered a catalectic converter for a 2006 maxima not only did they not send me the correct one multiple time thy finally found out that it is a catalog mistake. After talking to multiple people they never resolved the issue. The item 58220 is still up in there web site by the way. They never even attempted to try to satisfy me in giving me option but to give me a refund. Very poor customer service and the worst part I lost a the customer and lost over 800$. Buyers be careful.

I am glad I discovered this site/vendor/people and getting the auto parts I needed at good prices, delivered on time, as agreed. I got a muffler and an oxygen sensor for my Accord, the right items and well packed. I would greatly recommend this site for auto parts.
Their parts are cheap junk. Review of DNJ valve lifters - I bought 16 DNJ valve lifters from RockAuto in November 2014. 5 of 16 lifters were defective - they never worked - they had 6 to 10 thousands inch clearance even after driving the car and after following the valve lifter filling instructions. The clearance should be 0. These are cheap chinese made parts. Since I didn't finish putting in the lifters until Feb 2015 Rockauto refused to refund my money and refused to accept back the parts. They said there was only a 30 day money back guarantee. Instead they offered to replace the defective lifters. Of course with a 31% defect rate I would have to disassemble the engine a third time to replace the defective replacement parts. It takes over 10 hours of labor to replace the valve lifters. I also bought a water pump from Rockauto (Gates - made in China). It lasted 18 months before failing and I only drove the car 4,000 miles. Stay away from this company at all costs! Pay more for real parts - rockauto does not save you any money!

Might just as well go for the paid 2 day shipping and be done with it. We were left with a truck on jack stands for over a week. Like I said pay for expedited shipping. Ours was sent via DHL then handed to the Post office for delivery.

I tried to order an ignition coil from O'Rielys, Advance Auto... I have to admit I saved over $50 that was wasn't including the radiator.... the only way I will ever get any thing from any other Auto part store, Is If RockAuto don't carry it, or it cost more, and both reasons are highly unlikely

I ordered Monroe struts from rock auto. I had a professional repair shop in my town install them. The struts went on the minivan that my wife drives back and forth to work. Within 2 months of putting the new struts on both the struts snapped in half. The driver side strut went first and when it snapped my wife almost went off the road. I called rock auto customer service and I was told they would not do anything because it wasn't within 30 days. I asked to speak to a manager and the person on the phone told me I couldn't speak to a manager because they would tell me the same thing. I told the customer service rep they would never have my business again and he said it didn't matter because they have thousands and thousands of customers all over the United States. I contacted Monroe strut directly and they sent me two brand new struts free of charge. I was told by several sources that RockAuto buys the parts that all the other part stores reject and to be careful what I bought from there. I was told not all the stuff is bad. Remember you truly get what you pay for

I've been ordering parts from RockAuto for several year's now for several different makes and model's of vehicle's. It's ridicules how much cheaper it is to order parts from RockAuto than going to your nearest auto parts store and buying them. Think of this next time you go to O'Reilly's or AutoZone for a part. Whatever the price they tell you for their store brand (that they think is gold) 9 times out of 10 you will pay about half that for (in my case) quality GM parts. Or if your looking to upgrade to performance parts your still gonna find those parts at a better price than any of your neighborhood parts store junk. I will continue only ordering any part I need from RockAuto. There is only one reason I will ever pay part stores convenience fee again and that is the rare emergency.

I been ordering parts here for a few years, then I ordered a few parts got one and the other got lost in the mail, so I contacted them and they told me they cant do nothing til 2 weeks from the delivery date, do not order parts that come usps, it will get lost order fedex. So I try to make a complaint with their corporate office and you cant via phone. If I need a part having to wait a mo th to get is ridiculous, I could have got it from china faster than that.

Ordered part and was packaged wrong, paid extra to have it shipped! No way to contact anyone about my problem not even thru email, part not available locally without waiting days for it. if google would let me i would give no stars at all for rock auto at all. The shipping was very slow . The part didnt fit our customers car whatsoever. When i tried calling to try to get a answer y the part didn't fit, it is totally automated, and dont have any customer service. All thatwas said was for us to email them and they will get back with us. I am very dissatisfied about my whole experience and will not be using rock auto in the future for mine or any of my customers vehicles
I have been ordering parts from Rock Auto for many years. Here is my assessment:
1) They have the largest inventory of parts of any competitor - anywhere !
2) They often have parts I cannot find anywhere else.
3) They have parts for many car models - even cars you probably never heard of !
4) They have the LEAST expensive parts, and of the brand name, or OE parts, the prices are often a lot cheaper than you can buy at Advance or Autozone stores.
5) the shipping charges are reasonable, or downright cheap if you select parts from the same shipping location.
6) I always select the least expensive shipping option (cost) and 96% of my orders all arrive within 3 days.
7) I have never had a bad experience !
8) I HIGHLY recommend them to every one I know.
RockAuto is the King of my auto parts list. The local chains hire the $8.00 an hour help and dealing with them is painful and too frustrating. At RockAuto the quality and price is my choice and I don't have to be disappointed in the chain's private label line that is such poor quality. The RockAuto shipping is great and it regularly arrives before I even expect it. I tell lots of people about RockAuto and others that have used them also tell of their great experiences buying from the rock.
Simply Terrible Service. And I can not comment on the product as of yet. I still have not received them. No one to answer the phones and their email customer service is mediocre at best. After several back and forth emails they closed the ticket and blocked my email. POS at customer service.

just recently started using rockauto but i wish i found out about them a long time ago. i couldve saved a ton of $$$ on even mundane items such as hoses. nothing compares with their prices which are more than half off what youd find at oriellys or autozone. items come in sooner than they predict them to arrive & always in good condition. id recommend them to anyone i know needing anything car related.

Best online automotive dealer that I have delt with. I have always received the correct parts at a really good price. Its such a hassell to get a wrong part on the net. Returns are exspensive and difficult. With Rockauto I have never had to return any part I have ordered. Good quality parts everytime. Quick delivery times too.
Placed a $170 next day order. Two days later didn t have a tracking number and several emails were never responded to. Used PayPal to file a claim against them. Do not trust them! No phone to get in touch with them either

I have bought many auto parts from RockAuto and I am pleased with the prices and the quick shipping to my location except for this time. When I received 1/3 of my order they were shipped in a box where all 3 boxes broke open and the parts were all loose. The box had a hole in it and luckily none of the parts came out of the box. I am really not complaining, I am letting RockAuto know that every now and then we need to take a look at our shipping standards so the parts we order reach us without a problem. This is not going to stop me from ordering parts. I just want to bring this to the quality department so it doesn't happen to someone else.
They have the best prices on most of the parts I needed. And they shipped same day I ordered. So my parts arrived in two days not the 5 to 7 as expected. That is all good as long as you don't need or want something. Their customer service leaves a lot to be desired and they don't have a help desk to talk or chat with someone. Don't even think about calling. No phone number that I could find. So, as long as everything goes ok you'll be fine. Just hope nothing happens that you need to talk to them.
I have ordered from rock auto many times an was very satisfied with the price and service... until my most recent order. I ordered a clutch kit for my 4runner and received the right box with the wrong part in it. I had checked all the part numbers on the boxes and shipping invoice to make sure they matched what I had ordered, which they did, so I dropped the transmission. I wish I could post pictures as both the clutch disc and pressure plate were heavily damaged and the pressure plate was quite rusted as well. The kit box, not the shipping box, appeared to be water damaged. However; I seem to have underestimated the incompetence of someone in their warehouse as the kit contained a 8 1/2" clutch disc with 22 teeth. Whereas what I ordered was a 8 7/8" with 21 teeth. MEASURE THE PARTS TOO PEOPLE!!!! They will not be receiving any more of my business; which they could have had they offered me any sort of compensation for the massive inconvenience. At the end of the day all they did was offer to take it back and I'm still out the original shipping. FOR SHAME

I bought a starter and a radiator from these guys on two separate occasions about two months apart. Finding the parts were easy, the prices were spot on and returning the core was not a hassle. What more could you want from a company that sells auto parts? They are the real deal.

You can t call them and they will not honor a 5% discount code I had. I placed my order and I had to email them after to apply my discount code because when you place an order there is no field for discount code or coupon or anything. They told me they would NOT honor the discount bc my item shipped already. I spent $1700 and wanted $85 back. They also told me next time I order I should enter the discount code into the box labeled "How Did You Hear About Us?" I told them it s not labeled appropriately so how would anyone know to do that and you certainly can t call them. Horrible horrible customer experience ! Don t do business with these people!

Outside of the OEM parts store, I found RockAuto to have the most parts in one place for my Lexus. Prior to this, I was getting my items from a smattering of Canadian websites and occasional eBay vendors, so shipping costs were adding up on top of the higher CDN$ markup. Now I have the convenience of everything in one place, at exceptionally good prices, with great shipping rates to Canada, and the cherry on the top - with taxes/duties prepaid. Actually the best auto parts website I've used. Great number of parts available, the info one needs when ordering always seems to be right there and easy to find, which is NOT the case with other parts sites I've used, or tried to use.
When I needed an alt/P.S. belt, there are about seven different ones, from economy to performance, it's really great to have the number of choices and easy to access descriptions, OE part #'s, etc. Great site, very competetive prices and accurate shipping, which is crucial when you're dealing with time constraints. Used them multiple times in the past with no problems this time the orders completely screwed up and there is no way to contact somebody in customer service. They want to give you a refund but this does not help the problem with my vehicle needing brakes I need to get the right part and there's an obviously a problem with their catalog displaying the right parts. I ordered a complete brake set for the front of a Honda Achord, rotors calipers pads and hoses I got four sets of rotors and two sets of pads and no calipers
Sent me an email about my order being cancelled and refunded so I had to place another order for the item got the item that I had on 3 day shipping quicker than the item that was cancelled with one day shipping was still charged for both items and they will not pay me back for my return shipping for an issue on their system not my fault.
