Another excellent experience with Poli Mortgage Group. This was my third time working with this company. Judy Turtz and Rick Souza were excellent to work with. I will most certainly do business again with Poli.

I have used Poli Mortgage Group twice and they are nothing but a professional group. Everyone I have worked with there has been professional and nice. Wouldn't hesitate to recommend them to anyone looking for a mortgage or refinancing.

Where can I start... I applied for a home loan with 3 different lenders. They all had higher interest rates and I felt like I was talking to a computer. I decided to chose Poli Mortgage Group because their rate was way better and because of the conversation I had with Jesse.

I initially spoke with Jesse Carbeau. He was straight forward with me. I explained him my situation and what I was trying to do. He ran the numbers and came up with a plan for me. Didnt make me any fake promises and explained me how the process works at poli. I asked him so many questions and he always remained patient and replied to me asap.
Jesse got me pre approved with a list of conditions I needed to clear. Told me to find a house and then we would clear them together and deal with it together.

I found a home and had an offer accepted. I moved to the next step and spoke with Rick Souza (loan processor). God bless him because I asked him a ton of questions about everything (Emails and calls). I was nervous because of the conditions. This was a huge step for my family. We had moved 7 times in 15 years and never had a place to call home. We lived in a tiny apartment at the Time so this was a huge step. We wanted to find a place for our kids to grow and create memories. So you can see why we were so nervous throughout the entire process.

Rick always replied to my questions and concerns. He never made false promises and also had a plan for me. We went through this process together and I thank god I chose Poli mortgage group. Rick made jokes, calmed me down and always had a plan for what we had to do. Little by little we cleared those conditions. Now, we finally got the clear to close. My closing date is June 22.

I thank god I chose Poli Mortgage group. Rick and Jesse cared about my concerns and went through this process with me. I was deffenetaly not alone. They not only did their job but also showed me that they cared about my concerns and my situation.

Not once were these guys rude to me. Trust me I was a nervous wreck about every little thing. My only advise to you is to be truthful. Dont be embarrassed about things on your credit report. Do not lie! They will find out at a later stage and is totally not worth it and is not fair to them. Be organized and get them what they ask you for in a timely manner.

I have to say Poli mortgage group is very lucky to have these two gentlemen working for them. I will forever be greatful to them. They have given my family a place to call home.

The guys were on top of all the paperwork and did everything they said they would do. I can't expect more from a group than that.

I worked with Cindy Zheng most of the time throughout my loan application process in June. She is very knowledgeable and experienced, attention to details. A lot of tips provided has saved us a lot of time searching for an answer. She is very patient, which is very important for first time home buyer like myself. An outstanding lender, we couldn't be happier working with Cindy.

I've done multiple re-finance mortgages with Ed McMahon and with every one Ed improves my financial situation. I really appreciate that Ed will keep track of my current mortgage and let me know when a better mortgage opportunity is available. I've used Poli Mortgage Group for a couple of refinances. They're very professional and very fast. Thieu website for uploading mortgage docs is the best I;ve seen. Tom Shea, the loan officer, is quick to respond on all needs. I could not have asked for better treatment. They really go out of their way to please their customers.

A friend of mine recommended Poli Mortgage to me and I am glad he did. Great rates, prompt communication, easy to work with (documents are uploaded to their secure web portal and are signed using DocuSign; nothing to print and fax). We managed to get it all done in the midst of these trying times, with most businesses closed due to the COVID-19 pandemic. Will do business again.

This is my second refinance with Poli and can't say enough about the entire team at Poli. Stephen is pleasure to work with. Responsive, efficient and professional. The online loan portal is easy to use and facilitates easy exchange of documents. Even in the midst of refinance boom during Covid times I was able to close within 30 days. I won't have any hesitation coming back to Poli for my future loan needs. The only area of improvement was the Android app. It kept on crashing on Galaxy S10.

I was in the market for a refinance, I knew what I wanted: a lower monthly payment and a lower interest rate. I shopped around looking for the best rate for a refinance and I discovered Poli mortgage. The rate I got for my refinance was significantly lower than anything else I found. (emailed about 8 other institutions) Worked with Ed McHahon who was responsive, kind and detail oriented. He always called me back with answers to my questions. There was no pressure to "act immediately," in fact Ed advised me to hold on the rate lock for a week in hopes that the market would adjust so that I could get the low rate I wanted. Sure enough, Ed (and the market) came through.

The bulk of my paper work was handled by Lynn Nastasio who kept our file moving forward and always answered my emails promptly and thoughtfully.

I wound up setting up my rate-lock at the beginning of Thanksgiving week. Despite the Thanksgiving and Christmas holidays, Poli mortgage delivered the closing date I wanted. The closing was handled by Equity National, a loan officer came to my office downtown and my closing paper work was handled in about half an hour. Very convenient.

If you are shopping for a refinance I would recommend you include Poli in your search.

I can't say enough about the service I received from Poli Mortgage. I work an 80 - 90 hour work week. I am available by phone between 8 AM and 9 AM as that is my morning commute and between 10 PM and 11 PM which is my evening commute. After my initial online request for information I got a call at 8:15 the next morning from Chip Poli. I did not expect a call that promptly from anyone, but definitely not from the owner.

Chip promptly set me up with Erich Wohler. I cannot say enough about Erich's communication skills. My preferred method of communication is email and he accommodated me. When phone conversations were necessary he accommodated my absurd schedule every time. Even taking time to call me on a Sunday at 8 PM. Amazing service. As a first time home buyer I had no idea what to expect, but Erich took the time to explain the process to me step by step.

After the application was completed Erich introduced me to Holly Blue. Holly has the patience of Job. Over the course of a month Holly and I exchanged no fewer that 157 emails nearly all of which were stupid questions by me. But Holly never made me feel stupid. She took the time to answer my questions, allay my concerns, and calm my nerves. Most importantly she laid out for me right at the start of the process what documentation I would need to complete the process. In doing so she allowed me to gather everything up front so that I would be prepared when the items were needed. Holly also accommodated my schedule and preferred communication method. Amazing customer service from beginning to end. I would offer her a job in a moment except that it would mean that she wouldn't be available to help me when I go to refinance.

Visit them before you sign off on dealing with them for the transaction of your life, and see how disorganized their office is, how cramped, and try to picture this company doing your life's biggest financial transaction.

They are obviously overworked people in there and it shows. They do not call you back. They let your deadlines run down the wire. They do not take the time to explain or warn. They had you disclosures, all meant for lawyers, and believe you should understand every word of it, including hidden costs.

Go elsewhere. I have dealt with 4 other companies, and they were all much better. Don't fall for the low rates, you may end up paying more, or worse, you may loose your deposit when they mess up the timing and bring you to the wire, leaving you up th creek with no paddle

I had the pleasure of working with Richard Souza, and let me tell you, he made everything a whole lot easier. This was my second time applying for a mortgage and for someone who isn't up to speed with the amount of documents, or understand the lingo, I was extremely grateful to be working with Rich. He was patient, quick responding, and when I didn't exactly understand what document I needed, he spoke directly with my bank manager. I literally called him every single day and not once did he ever give me an attitude or make me feel like a burden, he understood I didn't do this daily and that I was A LOT of work. He'd even chime in here in there with me talking about recent sporting events while shuffling through the stack of paperwork I threw at him. If I ever apply for another mortgage, I'll be asking to work with him at the Poli Mortgage Group. Fantastic service and fantastic people.

It was an absolute pleasure working with Rick and Jesse at Poli. I began working with Jesse in early June who was super responsive, friendly and helpful. I was then referred to work with Rick who was extremely helpful and knowledgeable. I had a very bad experience with Poli Mortgage. I was trying to refinance my house. I had purchased this house in Nashua, NH area in Sep-2013 for 270K.
I did a refi last year and the value of the home based on the appraisal in Jan-2015 was 310K. But I still had to pay PMI. This year I was hoping to drop off my PMI and lower my interest rate by doing another re-fi.
So I filled up initial contact form for Poli in Zillow. Judy Turtz contacted me and discussed about my situation. She told me that for PMI to drop my house should be valued at 316K.

And she assured that since the property prices are increasing in my area and my house was valued at 310K in Jan-2015, the house should be appraised for more than 316K this time.

Zillow showed the value of my home at 344K and I let her know about this too. Also I did some research around the home values around my area and found that there were 3 homes sold for more than 325K within 0.1 miles of my house.

So I was confident that my house will be appraised for more than 316K. Judy took down my credit card and charged $440 as a deposit for Credit report and Appraisal.

But the appraiser (Susan Fitzgerald from Baseline Appraisal) did a very poor job (Judy herself admitted this) with the appraisal and she came up with 284K as my home value. Please note that property values are increasing in my location (Nashua, NH, 03062). So I absolutely don't understand how my house value decrease so much (310K in Jan-2015 and 284K Feb-2016).

I talked to Judy and send her my 310K appraisal from last year, and she admitted that the appraiser did a very poor job. The appraiser missed some features of my house in her appraisal (like I have two decks and she put only one, I have an additional kitchen and bathroom in the basement but the appraiser missed that). Also the appraiser never took the houses sold within 0.1 miles of my home into consideration for the comparable.

She used comparable that are in busier roads than my house. So we did an appeal of the appraisal. This time the appraiser adjusted the value to 290K. Currently I pay 3.75% as the interest rate and my PMI is 75/month. So based on this appraisal I was not able to drop off my PMI.

I requested Judy to return my deposit back because of the poor job done by the appraiser and Judy refused to return the money suggesting she cannot do that because of their policy.

I believe this is really unfair especially because I don't see any reason why my house which was valued at 310K in Jan-2015 would lose 20K value by Feb-2016 when the property values are increasing my area.

I believe the appraiser did a very poor job with the appraisal. Poli Mortgage uses incompetent appraisers. So based on this I would never suggest going with Poli Mortgage.

I cannot thank Poli Mortgage enough for their help in completing my refinance in an expeditious and professional matter. Thank you so much Rick and Chip.
