I was in the market for a refinance, I knew what I wanted: a lower monthly payment and a lower interest rate. I shopped around looking for the best rate for a refinance and I discovered Poli mortgage. The rate I got for my refinance was significantly lower than anything else I found. (emailed about 8 other institutions) Worked with Ed McHahon who was responsive, kind and detail oriented. He always called me back with answers to my questions. There was no pressure to "act immediately," in fact Ed advised me to hold on the rate lock for a week in hopes that the market would adjust so that I could get the low rate I wanted. Sure enough, Ed (and the market) came through.

The bulk of my paper work was handled by Lynn Nastasio who kept our file moving forward and always answered my emails promptly and thoughtfully.

I wound up setting up my rate-lock at the beginning of Thanksgiving week. Despite the Thanksgiving and Christmas holidays, Poli mortgage delivered the closing date I wanted. The closing was handled by Equity National, a loan officer came to my office downtown and my closing paper work was handled in about half an hour. Very convenient.
