I was highly disappointed with the customer service I'm having so much difficulty getting a hold of someone to help me out. A/C controls dont work and the website doesnt help out.. it refers me to email them.. which that's a joke.. I keep getting the same email.. we are working on your response and I call them directly and no one answers

The worst customer service I have ever seen in my life. I buy a stereo system and all the features, spend like thousand dollars only to receive a stereo system that is not allowing the AC unit to work. Once I stated my issue to Phoenix automotive all they told me to was try again. They will not return my calls nor answer when I call them. To this day I haven't fixed the issue haven't been driving the truck due to the AC.

The "Tesla" style radio from Phoenix Automotive is perfect. The quality is superb and the interface is easy to use. If you can use a tablet you can use this. It has so many great features such as downloading apps, browsing capabilities, running videos to name a few. I put this product in my SEMA show build which was later featured in PAS mag. I had some technical difficulties and the staff/tech was very responsive and helpful in resolving the matter. I had nothing but perfect customer service from this company. I read some of the negative reviews on here and didn't find one negative thing with this company. I highly highly recommend this product to any one who wants something cool and "techy" in the car and especially anyone who has a show car like myself. The pricing is excellent, before units like this would cost over $1000 and you can get it now for half the cost. I love the radio so much I'm putting it in my daily driver as well. 5 star product and customer service all the way!

I was having some challenges with the backup camera that I bought from Phoenix Automotive for the Android, Tesla-style radio that I purchased from them. Robert asked me download Google Duo so he could see my connections and spent 30 minutes on the phone with me to figure it out. It works perfectly now, thanks to Robert! He REALLY knows his stuff! Do not buy from this company! I purchased a head unit and have had nothing but problems with it for the past 10 months. The units are extremely glitchy. I have contacted this company atleast 50 times about multiple problems. They ended up sending me a replacement unit because there were to many issues to work through with the original unit. I put a deposit down(basically buying another unit) to get the replacement sent out. I sent my old unit back to them and they refunded my deposit except for $75. They stated there was damage to the bezel from a mounting screw. The pictures they sent are not from my unit, the only screws that are used are 2 on the top of the unit no where near the bezel. They then replied stating the pictures were wrong and from another unit so they sent pictures from mine with 2 little nicks in it. Its only $75 but the principle behind the company are horrible. Between the horrible product and the horrible customer service I would never purchase from them again. I am also having the same issues with the new unit.

This company is a joke. Poorly made as the 3D printing they do for the radio vessel has the wrong specifications. The android system is slow and they send the wrong cables. Reached out to them multiple times with no response. I m sure if they respond to this they will tell me to reach out, but that is not going to happen as I already have done so many times. So Phoenix Automotive, how about YOU fix your customer service and respond to emails and calls? Don t buy their products, it s not worth any amount of money that you want to save over a properly made product from another company.

We paid $750 for a radio which arrived 3 weeks later. There were no installation instructions with the unit. They stated video call assistance for installation help was available, but after making an appointment, no one ever joined the call. The email customer service was not helpful at all. The said to take is to a local shop for install, but no one is willing to do it without instructions. It has been a never ending cycle with no assistance. AVOID at all costs.

Order number PA24965 was provided based on the owner's reply. After a week, there is still no contact or follow up. It appears that the owner replies only to create the illusion of action, but then does not follow up or attempt to resolve the issue.

DO NOT BUY HERE!!!!!!! Plan to dispute the charge on my CC.

I ordered a radio for my vehicle about a month ago and ive been trying to obtain a refund for the radio purchased and they said my request was processed and the refund should go back and its been a month and nothing! I email them and i just get the same automatic message. All i want is my money back as fast as they took it! I had to report them to BBB to get some sort of help. I still try to get a response to this day and yeah its the same automatic message that gets me no where. Zero stars, worst customer service, horrific business.

Completely disappointed. They sent me the wrong wire harness. A harness for a BMW I drive an SUV and gave them full details with pictures. Took it to a pro shop for installation so it's going to do a bench inspection and tell me if I got ripped off or not.
Worst decision. Phoenix automotive response when I complained was only "sorry"

Purchased a unit for my 2018 F-150. Had problems with sound due to my failure of following proper installation procedure. Tech support was not only on time but was patient in trying to resolve the problem over The period of a week! They were knowledgeable and extremely helpful in trying to determine the problem. It was only after I sent pics of install did the issue immediately get resolved. My bad! These guys were great, product is over the top and support went as far as conference calls to countries outside the US! Very satisfied with the product and all the support!!!

Love this radio tablet. Keeps most original car controls. Easy to install by going off pictures of what wires go where. Installed the dash cam and digital tv tuner. Had a little problem on system settings, but with a call using Duo , it was solved in a matter of minutes. Highly recommend. Put in a 2014 Ford F-150 Lariat. Retains backup camera and I added a front one as well that I bought on Amazon.

I returned the radio and power cable over a month ago as i was told by your company with no information of what was going to happen past that part no paid postage nothing. I paid 50 dollars to ship the broke radio been waiting over 1 month this is totally unacceptable. He responded to all my questions and provided additional files requested for me to customize to me needs.

After going rounds with them to have a warranty unit replaced it is now a month since I have sent the unit back (using their finally issued RMA) and still no replacement in my possession. Five emails with only computer generated we are working on a response replies. When you call the phone numbers supplied in said computer generated emails for direct assistance you yet again get no response. Don t waste your time or money, product is not very high quality and customer service is nonexistent once they have made the sale.

I ve never heard of a business that will make a customer wait for a product when THEY HAVE MADE THE ERROR!!!!!! I ordered the PX6 on Monday and received it the following Monday. Radio was very easy to install after watching the installation video provided by Pheonix. Had some problems out of the stereo after the initial installation but scheduled a call with Tech support and was able to get everything fixed through a few update files. Whole experience was flawless and couldn't be happier with my purchase! Big thanks to Robert for walking me through the firmware updates and making sure everything worked after our chat.

Love the unit. The customer service, once you establish a time and connection, is great. Solved all the issues. There is a lot more to the device than evident superficially. Tech support is needed to work through them. They have great patience as I'm sure they get frustrated with neophytes.

My Android Audio 10.2" screen went to static over a week now. Cannot see nothing on the screen but multiple white lines. I only had it little over a month now. I paid over $500 for the stereo and $400.00 to get installed due to the technician had to install it with out no instruction (did not came with it) and could not find it on the YouTube. Will update when supposedly I have appoint with Phoenix tactician tomorrow. And this review won't let me upload the pictures of the screen. PX6 product is OK. Wireless CarPlay often never connects. Technical support is hit or miss on showing up for the scheduled service call, but they are good if they do show up. More detailed vehicle specific installation information would be appreciated.

As far as companies go, this one is pretty good. Their tech support may take a bit to get in touch with, but once you do, they know their stuff. I was able to get answers to all my questions, and had my most outstanding issues resolved satisfactorily.

The 12 inch Tesla style head units are a decently advanced piece of kit. A surefire way to breathe new life into an older vehicle. They are a bit clunky to use, but speed is decent, and once you get the hang of it, the overall experience is not too bad. The ability to add on various systems such as a dashcam is also a plus, although you may have difficulty using your stock Aux inputs and USB connections, so you'll have to connect to the unit directly. Fortunately, you can do so by routing extension cables where you wish. The ability to connect to a USB drive is also welcome.

There are a few areas that need improvement, such as the neutered Bluetooth capabilities. You can only connect your phone, not a phone for calls, and a second device for audio, for example. One major area where this is an issue is if you wish to integrate a HUD. There are several units now which connect to your phone via either Bluetooth, or wireless casting. Including these abilities in the head unit, thus taking the load off of your phone,and putting more utility into the integrated navigation capabilities would be a welcome upgrade.

On the positive, the sound system setup is top-notch, and really improved my sound system, which I had already replaced the speakers and added a DVC Subwoofer to. The kit includes a connection for an external amplifier, should you go that route.

One other area of concern is the lack of sufficient auto-dimming, or blue light filters for nighttime use.

Overall,this was a good purchase, and I am happy with the support I received.

Ordered the PX6 Android tablet for my 16 Ford Explorer. Took a bit longer to get than I thought it would. Installed very easy! I was surprised there wasn t more to it. My problems came after booting it up. I immediately contacted support who assigned Robert to my case. It took a bit of back and forth with Robert and some setting tweaks but he got it all compatible with my car and it works great!

I called a few times to speak with someone about it and they were constantly nasty. I returned the radio and even emailed them the shipping info for the return. I was worried about security on this device - PX6 for 2010 Ford Raptor. So, I put a pin lock on it in settings. Rebooted and it locked me out of the unit. Had to remote wipe it with "find my device". Then it did a COMPLETED reset with no settings preserved from the factory. I should have backed up thebsettings first on a thumb drive. Luckily Phoenix Automotive Tech support had an opening the next day. It was scheduled in less than an hour. Roger helped get me all set up again. It's working great. I love the unit!!

Bought a radio a month or so again, finally showed up a few days ago. Which is fine because it has to be shipped for China. Installed the product, plug and play kind of, had to use factory AC board to install. Got it up and running, most things work, except the things i bought it for. Android auto keeps fighting Easy connection for control of my phone so neither will work. AM/FM signal is not existent, i live pretty close to a station and it cuts in and out. I also have a constant static for my audio. Most people have said that their issues went away from troubleshooting with an engineer or tech..... that is not what i bought this for. I bought it to work. Customer service is pretty bad, they just send you to the youtube channel. Also, this is ran by people who do not speak english very well, so expect very broken responses on facebook.

I had a pretty awful experience trying to order from this company via their website. I placed the order for a $700+ radio before Christmas. They asked me to send them pictures of my car dash to make sure it was the correct radio. I responded immediately -- our dash was EXACTLY as it shows on their website. Then I heard nothing from them. I sent them four emails asking for an update on the shipment and got no response. After three weeks, I finally got them on the phone (previously, I was getting their voicemail). The woman who answered was completely un-appologetic and blamed their lack of responses on "being busy during the holidays." After the call, I suddenly got a UPS tracking number for a shipment made from China. I spent the next four days checking the tracking number to see when the radio would arrive, but the shipment never was picked up by UPS. Then, I abruptly got an email from Phoenix Auto stating, "Our technician find out that the model for your car is not compatible to the product you ordered." Then, they refunded the money I paid. It took just under 3 weeks between the time I initially paid for the radio until they refunded my payment -- 3 weeks where I could have purchased elsewhere.

I really wish I would have read Phoenix Automotive's Better Business Bureau profile before I placed the order. It's currently an "F" rating with loads of complaints.

Honestly this is the worst company I have dealt with. I bought a screen for my 2017 mustang and it wasn t working and it took them a while to send me a replacement and they were unprofessional and customer service was not professional. They sent me a replacement after I paid a deposit and then the replacement screen is not working and it s worse than the one I have and then when I returned it, they didn t send me my full money back. Worst experience ever. Don t waste your money. Find a different company to buy your stuff from.

Impossible to get a hold of anyone. They can t tell you when order will ship. All they are willing to tell me is don t worry it will ship. I ve asked repeatedly for a time frame for it to ship Spent over an hour in the phone to cancel order. Continued to get status updates. Was reassured repeatedly it was cancelled, but still get processing emails, so I disputed charges with credit card company. Now I get an email stating that because you disputed the charges, they are not capable of cancelling an order and the order has shipped. Almost 2 weeks later I m still getting order processing emails. I wish I would have looked at the reviews for this company before I ordered.

It is now almost 30 days since trying to repeatedly cancel this order. I still have yet to receive my order or at least shipping information. This is the email that receive after I repeatedly try to cancel through their website.

I have continuously tried to contact these people via e-mail, messages, telephone for a redund. I have not been able to get this product refunded. They continue to ignore me and I am very fed up at this point. I will needs to now take further action.

Do not buy from this company! I ordered a vertical screen unit, but I had to make emergency travel plans because of COVID-19, and so I was not able to install the unit until after I returned three months later. I figured that wouldn't be a problem, that I could trust the quality of the product, but no, the vertical screen unit they sent me was dead-on-arrival! Their tech support was useless. I spent the better part of two weeks chasing them down. You have to set appointments online with a Google Form, but often, the tech support guy wouldn't pick up the phone at my scheduled appointment time. Or he would tell me that he needed to look into the problem and would get back to me--and then never call back. Eventually he finally told me there was nothing he could do to make the unit operational. I asked to return my order for a full refund. They agreed and sent me a prepaid shipping label. I was led to believe I would be getting a full refund--that they had made an exception to their policy for me. They received the return and then suddenly informed me that they would only be refunding me 60%! They also deducted $10 for a microphone they claimed was missing, but they never shipped me a microphone in the first place! Now I don't have a radio or my money! What a slimy, dishonest company.

Don't buy from these guys. They'll send you a piece of junk and then keep all your money.

I have a background in IT and have been modding Android devices for years. I was expecting to do some tinkering...But the execution is extremely poor, it's not nearly as plug and play as it's advertised to be. There were ZERO instructions provided and maybe half of the features actually worked. I had to spend hours trolling youtube videos, forums, and facebook groups to try to solve issues that should have been clearly documented in the instructions that weren't provided. You can't sell $700 dollar head units and provide zero support....I'm sending this back.

I purchased an android 7.1 radio from these guys for my 2015 Ford explorer, and I couldn't have been more overjoyed. Ditching the old bulky, knob ridden and button laced radio for this touch screen masterpiece was one of my favorite upgrades to my car. I had a few issues with my climate controls, but Chris helped me over the phone to sort them out. Still to this day I'm convinced the man is a living god for all the troubleshooting he helped me with. For all the customization and ease of access this radio gives, it's worth the money. For anyone having issues, my biggest advice is to consult them FIRST before buying. Figure out what type of radio your car requires, and have it professionally installed if you don't know what you're doing. Like any company, especially ones dealing with technology and devices, they're constantly helping people, so please have some patience with them if you do end up having a problem. Many, many, many thanks for the help, Chris. I'm enjoying my radio!

The only reason I give 4 stars and not 5 is that it was a difficult installation. But in the end, the android screen is AWESOME!

The product comes with no documentation, wiring diagrams or schematics. Supposedly no problem as you just match up the different sized connectors to connectors on the new wiring harness. But my heating/AC/fan controls did not work.

So phone/text support was very good. Phoenix responded promptly and did their best to help. Calls were made to China engineers on multiple days to figure out the issue. Turned out I was missing a critical wiring harness. Phoenix mailed this to me and the problem was solved.

They offered to help me at their facility in Calif., but I am in Idaho. So everything was accomplished by phone/text/photos. Phoenix was responsive, checked up on me, and eventually got the problem solved. As I mentioned it was difficult, but I expected this to a degree because of the complexity of the new unit.

I am very happy with the end result. Wish it were really plug and play, but overall I am very pleased. The most important thing is that Phoenix will take care of you and solve your issue IF you have one.

This is probably one of the best purchases I ve done in a while. I did quite a bit of research into one of these units but finally had mine installed in my 2019 suburban. It s absolutely unreal you can tether it to your phone. You basically have a computer in your car plays movies browsers the Internet plus Apple CarPlay. I am beyond thrilled with this.

Over all it was a great experience, I made a purchase and tried to install myself. Needed help and was able to get an installation by their team. You do have to be patient, as they have been impacted during the pandemic. Loving my new screen!!

I purchased one of their newest radios recently, and the hardware worked perfectly. However, the software had some compatibility issues with my OEM interface that I needed to troubleshoot with the company. After getting a hold of one of their engineers online via Facebook, I've been in touch with that person to troubleshoot every single one of the issues I brought up. Many reviews pointed out the lack of customer service, or poor response rates for Phoenix. While it is true that when I contacted the store directly through their phone number, the service wasn't that helpful, this particular engineer was absolutely amazing. He worked even over the weekends to help me with fixing the problems I encountered, and didn't stop replying to my requests until everything was resolved. We video chatted at least three times to make sure we were all on the same page. I was disappointed at first that there were some compatibility issues, but the unit I purchased was a brand new design and as with all new designs, there's bound to be some kinks to work out. In the end, though, largely due to the diligence of this Phoenix employee, all the problems were resolved and I'm now happily using the radio without any compatibly issues. I cannot be more satisfied! I highly recommend Phoenix as long as you can get a hold of someone who knows the units inside and out.

During the pandemic i was trying to contact tech support and was unsuccessful to get a profict installed that i bought from them , however they rrached out to me last week and gave me an appointment for this morning and the job was completed as it just needed to be programmed and my local stereo shop could not do it. They fixed the problem this morning free of charge knowing i had all ready paid a local vendor to install the radio. I would do business with them again as i am very satisfied with the work. Pandemic caused the delay and i understand. I highly recommend them along with installation
