I had a pretty awful experience trying to order from this company via their website. I placed the order for a $700+ radio before Christmas. They asked me to send them pictures of my car dash to make sure it was the correct radio. I responded immediately -- our dash was EXACTLY as it shows on their website. Then I heard nothing from them. I sent them four emails asking for an update on the shipment and got no response. After three weeks, I finally got them on the phone (previously, I was getting their voicemail). The woman who answered was completely un-appologetic and blamed their lack of responses on "being busy during the holidays." After the call, I suddenly got a UPS tracking number for a shipment made from China. I spent the next four days checking the tracking number to see when the radio would arrive, but the shipment never was picked up by UPS. Then, I abruptly got an email from Phoenix Auto stating, "Our technician find out that the model for your car is not compatible to the product you ordered." Then, they refunded the money I paid. It took just under 3 weeks between the time I initially paid for the radio until they refunded my payment -- 3 weeks where I could have purchased elsewhere.
I really wish I would have read Phoenix Automotive's Better Business Bureau profile before I placed the order. It's currently an "F" rating with loads of complaints.
