My Family took part in Pheasant Run's thanksgiving event. The food was great! The spread ranged form breakfast, lunch, dinner and dessert. The downsides, it seemed rather informal, even though we were told to dress up and every family that attended was gathered together in the same event room. Which took the feeling of a traditional thanksgiving away.

Very comfortable beds, and very polite front desk help.

We went to the escape rooms within pheasant run resort. We walked through the resort though to get there, and it was gorgeous. There was inside road with lights, tables and chairs that was very romantic. theres a variety of food and entertainment, including an arcade that takes tokens, the escape the room, a bar, and other resort style pools. We didnt go too far in. It's a lovely place that we want to stay a night at in the future. Great for kids.

I went for dinner and drinks at Jambalaya, and then my friends went to the indoor pool. Service was decent but slow and irregular. The food was good but I expected more quality and flavor for the price and it being themed as a New Orleans restaurant. Pheasant Run itself has a lot of potential but seems to not been updated in decades. Not a bad experience at all, but left seeing so many ways it could be better.

Tricked through a third party... Spent 3 Times as much in the small hotel resourt. ,nothing was clear..exra charges as well...not happy !!!!

The crab legs and prime rib buffet was awesome !!! And the place is really cute!!

I attended the Pontiac show there. The inside of the hotel seems very upscale and includes a pool, hot tub, and bar.

I attended a work conference that was held at this resort. The atmosphere is okay, but a little strange due to the unsystematic features of the resort. While this seems to be a great place for golfers, the movie theater and western-style shops seem to be outdated. The pool isn't so bad, in fact, it's popular, but the smell of chlorine wafting through the bar and hallways are nauseating. The food is of mediocre quality, but you can tell that that they try to make-do with the budget that they have. The food staff are friendly and accommodating.

We went to a coin collection show. The show had closed 2 hours early, so we didn't get to see anything.

Attended a wedding at the Pheasant Run. Food was not very good. Service was very slow at the different bars since there was only one bartender taking care of 20 plus guests. It's not their fault since everyone that served us were pleasant and worked hard just very under staffed. Outside fire pit was nice place to take a break.

Noisy guests at 3:45AM prevented me from getting a good night's rest before a 700 mile trip back east. Management offered only a mere $25.00. If you need a good night's sleep - this isn't the place.

Very nice clean rooms. Great selection of pools and open areas with fire pit sitting areas. Pleasant staff.

Food is terrible and none of the staff seems to want to be working in this worn down place.

I went to a pop culture con here and the establishment was very accommodating.

The place was over packed and one of the pools was broken for 2 of the 4 days we were there. So the kids were BORED. They had an advertisement for spring break to book for Sunday and they had NOTHING for them to do. We tried several times to get supplies and it took hours for towels toilet paper and necessities. We tried to address the situation and we spoke with Andres and he is by far the RUDEST manager we ever had to deal with. We have stayed here about 12-15 times and never encountered a situation like this. We will NEVER return. People go on getaways to get away from the aggravation of work or the real world to have to deal with people like him. He even got rude in front of other guests. We were embarrassed. I will never waste my families time or money again here

A perfect resort for a large convention gathering or a small family or one individual stay.The rooms are gorgeous and well kept and clean. The swimming pool is perfect both in size and temperature. The food is magnificent. Especially the buffet. The pricing is reasonable for the great quality and service one receives. The views are pretty and peaceful. One will leave this facility well rested and desiring to return for more. Attend!!!!

The space is old and musty and the carpets smell of urine. It s unfortunate because there is a lot of potential here. I ve been coming here my entire life, but it hasn t been updated in years. When we had company over to swim (family wedding) they tried to charge them $15 a person. We were very disappointed to hear this. The pool was dead, but we would have been charged over $100 to sit by the poolside. We decided to go somewhere else instead. I do not recommend this place.

The location was amazing. We had been to the resort before for work but the expo center was not only much larger than we anticipated but much nicer.

Quite outdated. Room was clean. Pools are great. Convenient location near highway, shopping, restaurants. Expensive based on how outdated rooms and facility are.

I had a great time at pheasant run resort! I saw a comedian at Zanies and went to the escape room on site. Both were enjoyable experiences, and I would definitely go back.

It's a shame how far Pheasant Run has fallen. Dated is too gentle a word. The place is just in an ugly state of disrepair. Only one elevator worked for most of the weekend so waiting more than 10 minutes for a lift was typical. Our room was moldy and the carpet was soaked in and around the sink and door. We thought it reeked of urine and then when we found out that PR is pet-friendly (but not very human friendly) it made sense. The soap dish literally fell out of the wall in the shower. The mold creeping out from behind the toilet was embarrassing but only a precursor to my wife having to call maintenance to have the toilet itself serviced. When they finally arrived she received a lesson on how to properly flush, wait, and then re-flush the finicky loo. Everything about the place was just disappointing and second rate. I'd imagine the end is drawing near. As my son said...they should probably call it Pheasant Ran.

We stayed the weekend on the Romantic Getaway package. We were married on Bourbon St. Although this was a very small intimate wedding, the staff accommodated us and was very helpful in arranging our wedding and giving us privacy. Thank you to Brittney. Our rooms were a little outdated but the view was outstanding; on the 14th floor of the Tower overlooking the golf course and airport. The ambiance of the Harvest restaurant was delightful. There is so much to do at this resort and the scenery is beautiful. Reasonably priced also, this was a fabulous trip.

My wife and I love Pheasant Run! Everyone makes us feel special from arrival to departure. Jim greets us at the door with a big smile and remembers our names. Jesse at the front desk always takes the time to come out from the office and say hello to us no matter how busy he is. Our favorite bartender Scott always pretends to not remember us, however it's an act and it just makes us feel even more special. We always make it a point to go to Harvest for dinner and we are blessed to be served by Andrea. She is one of the most kind and nicest persons you will ever meet. Not to mention she is a great server! After dinner we usually go to Zanies for a fantastic show. Barb and Chris always make it a point to say hello to us there and get us a seat where we are picked on mercilessly! Jan at the pro shop is always so accommodating and make sure to tell us the best times to go out for a round of golf. After tearing the course up (literally) are generally greeted by Bob the starter. He always has a great story or just some pleasant conversation to share with us. In closing I would be remiss not to mention France, I believe he was the general manager when we first started coming here, however he now has a great corporate job with the same company. When he happens to be on site he always makes it a point to say hello to us. Judging by the way his employees speak of him, he is a leader anyone would be happy to work for/with.

I am sure I'm missing the names of a few folks here and there whom also makes our stays at the Pheasant Run so wonderful. Please know it is unintentional. Everyone at this property is special and really does a great job! With the exception of the guy driving the lawn mower on holes number 2, 3, 4 Monday morning! It was like a scene from Seinfeld. Just kidding about him not doing a good job, but geeze could you follow somebody else for a while :-) LOL!

The resort is nice, they pride themself on their two lovely pools yet 13 people were in a hot tub with small kids and not 1 person in this group had the mandatory wrist band on... The parents were all drinking heavily and kids running wild...never need to go back. Pour management.

Great family place. Bathrooms in the tower rooms need to be updated. They're currently dinghy & not very welcoming, although I'm sure they are clean. But over all everything is pretty nice!

I won't ever stay at this "resort" again. My daughter had a dance competition here so we booked here for 6 days! First night I got there I had bought food for the week and out it in the fridge, well the fridge didn't work ending in spoiling the milk, cheese and ice cream we had in there. The next night the TV didn't work, where I was told they were puting new cable in the rooms and sometimes it doesn't work.. Um not okay! The sink in the bathroom sprayed every where when you would turn it on. The air conditioner leaked water on one of our dance bags, leading to wet dance clothes. And last but not least there were ants in the bed, well we are hoping they were ants!! There is no breakfast, and everything in the cafe is way over priced. $4 for a Gatorade. The pool was about the nicest thing at the "resort" but were no pool towels our whole stay. And when I complained about the things in my room I was told "well you don't have to stay here." And there was no manager on duty to talk to at two different occasions. Then lied to once about someone being a manager then come to find out they were a trainee. I put the word "resort" in quotes because this place is nothing what I paid for! I will never stay here again!

Really wanted to give 0 stars but it wouldn t let me post. Our experience for New Year s Eve was by far the worst experience I ve ever had in my life. I am no longer surprised that it was pretty much a ghost town on a Saturday.

Let me start with night one when we got to the room and the bathtub was absolutely repulsive with a black mold ring and we had to leave our room at midnight because the heat did not work, at that point were given vouchers for breakfast. The following morning we went to get our breakfast and were turned away by a rude employee at 11:01 because they had just shut down breakfast and would not honor the vouchers for even a sandwich. We drove to IHOP to get breakfast and pheasant run can learn customer service from them.

Room 2 had an even more disgusting bathtub that backed up during my wife s shower with yellow/ brown smelling water. Our bedroom linen had dirt on it and our room was never Cleaned at all during our stay even though we saw the cleaning staff on our floor in other rooms. We were told that they were focusing on the incoming guests. I guess that means once they have your money they could truly care less if you have a good clean experience.

In November when I called about the highest end package deal I was told it would give us access to every party room the had for New Year s Eve. That was not the case at all. We were forced to stay in the band room we had no interest in, we only purchased this package so we could get the dinner included. Not to mention how cold the food was at the breakfast buffet the following morning.

Last of all would be at check out when Jessie the manager on duty was giggling at every comment or concern that everyone, including me, informed him of. He was 0 help and should not be working as your manager. It was all a joke to him and he didn t care that you had everyone up front saying they will never come back. I guess he is good with relying on new business coming in only to find out they will never return either. It was a joke, he was insulting claiming that the person I said I was speaking with the first night wasn t even an employee there.

I promise I will do everything I can to make sure everyone knows how horrible this place treats their clients and the lack of care and cleanliness.

Will never come back and I suggest if you re reading this and were considering this dirty resort, go to the Hilton Garden Inn across the street.

We went there for a wedding. The hotel room was very well maintained, the various sections were well labeled, the front desk was courteous, and the common areas were exquisitely decorated. The food that we had for the wedding was delicious and the servers were all very friendly

I only walked in the resort. I was there to play golf. The course is ok. The staff was very friendly.

They were very strict on the tee time that we purchased even when no one else was around to play the course. And the time needed to change due to a work issue coming up. poor customer service. A dying sport (golf) but a beautiful course.

So I booked this resort for Valentine's day weekend for my husband and I absolutely nothing to do after checking in the front desk guy tells me everything is closed I asked if we can be refunded they wouldn't issue a refund I'll never ever go back the room was old toilet was nasty

I love coming to this place. Great food choices at the resort as well. Perfect for staycation!

I love bourbon street so cute and fun to walk through. The harvest resturant is always delicious. Wait staff id's excellent.

I didn't get to see the entire resort. I was in attendance for a sporting event being held at the resort. That side of the resort was average. Nothing special about it.

Zanies is a lot of fun. Great staff. Intimate venue for seeing favorite comics.

Bottom line: this is an extremely dated facility that badly needs some basic maintenance and upkeep. While it appears that the Tower Rooms are undergoing some renovations, the golf wing feels like a mid-range resort from the 1960s that hasn't been paid much attention to in recent decades.

We were pretty excited about staying here; I've driving past a couple of times, and the sprawling property and adjacent golf course caught my eye. Attending an event held on-site gave us the reason to finally plan a visit. From our arrival, however, the experience has been one big disappointment.

For starters, a resort this size needs more than two or three bell carts. We waited >20 minutes for a self-service bell cart, only to discover that our room was on the second floor of a building that HAS NO ELEVATORS. So after waiting an interminable period of time for a cart, we had to unpack all of our luggage and carry it up a flight of stairs to our room. On top of that, the lone bellman/valet not only didn't offer to help us to our room, but was actually quite rude to me and my three-year-old daughter.

The golf wing, as mentioned above, is extremely dated and in poor repair. For example, the door to our room showed considerable wear, with large chunks of the faux-wood cover missing; the wood ceilings are stained (dirty) and in need of paint; the showerhead was irreparably stained with iron and other hard water deposits; the carpet is old and dingy, and the room has a pervasive smell of mildew and/or mothballs.

It is nice that the resort is pet-friendly, however, the front-desk staff went out of their way to make sure we knew that pets are more tolerated than welcomed, with a page-long checklist of issues or indiscretions that will get you dismissed from the property. Suffice it to say, the check-in wasn't the most welcoming we've experienced.

On the positive side, the Tower section renovation looks like a big step in the right direction, and I'd have liked to seen the rooms themselves for comparison. Likewise, the golf course looks beautiful, and although I didn't play a round, the grounds looked to be in really great shape. Aside from the surly bellman/valet, the one desk clerk we dealt with later in the evening was very helpful, getting us extra linens right away, and dealing with a noisy guest downstairs.

I might be persuaded to come back here once the renovations are complete, but I fear that if the current state of the facility is any indication, the new facilities will be in poor order before too many years go by.

The staff were all wonderful. Swimming areas were very enjoyable. The hotel does need a facelift. It was a gorgeous place in the day. My hope is that someone will come in and give it that facelift it needs so memories can continue to happen.

We always enjoy our time at the pheasant run. We celebrated our daughters birthday for two years running. Each time we have found the staff to be helpful and friendly, many going out of their way to assist us and make us feel welcome. This is certainly true of Jim (security), children s activity staff, room service staff and Jesse on front desk.

READ THIS. unfortunately this hotel is old and outdated. I'm talking stained hallways and tube tv. You can't even see the tv from the bed because the cabinet does not open enough. Very overrated and overpriced. Maybe a 3 star resort in the 80's. Do yourself a favor and look elsewear.

Pheasant Run is a nice place. One thing though is that the restaurants are not open regularly so if you are looking for a place with full service restaurants you might want to try another place. The pool and grounds are nice, and although we did not golf the course looks very nice!

It was very nice. There are lots of good food around it too.

when we had checked in yesterday,,,1-27-20,, they didnt have our room ready... so we had to go back downstairs & tell the front desk.... they gave us another room... then after a few hours passed,,,, i decided to take a shower,,,& THERE WAS NI HOT WATER!!!! so we went back downstairs & told them in person... they had told us that just to leave the hot water running,,,didn't tell us for how long... when i had checked again for hot water,,,it wasnt on... so i called & mentioned that to them.... when i had got ice from my floor,,,there wasnt no ice... i went to 3 different floors just to get ice... and then,,,we wanted to go for a swim,,,they told us upon arrival that the indoor/outdoor heated pool was closed,,,upon checking out this morning,,,on 1-28-20,,,the sign was gone???

Nice resort, great comedy club. Terrible parking - if they improved that they could get another star.

Depending on the room, it might not have been remodled. Ended up in a room that still had big old tube TVs. Also if you have difficulty with stairs the old wing has no elevator to the second floor. The layout is a little tricky to navagate, but the staff was helpful with directions.

I attended an Expo at your convention center today. It was a nice area and seemed clean.

Went for new years eve . Got an over night package. Good food good drinks great band!

The location is very nice. I had a great time at the bridal show.

My husband and I were there for the first time. The room was nice, but needs some updated repairs. The air conditioner controls cover was broke. We reported the first night. We were informed that someone would come by the next day to fix it, but it did not happen. There were no closet doors. There were no bathroom exhaust fan. Some of the staff did not seem friendly. First impression is a lasting impression! With the amount of money charged nightly, this resort could be more updated. Please look into new renovations and friendly staff for future return customers!

My whole family stayed here at the resort for a weekend, we spent 10,000 just for the weekend we had family come from all over , just to come to a nasty resort, the golf wings smells bad , all the carpet is old and dirty we didn t even walk with out shoes in the room , the beds are small , not a good supply of towels we had everyone requesting towels and they said they were out , all the food in the resort is horrible we had our dinner made by them as well as our food for the picnic it was all disgusting, it more so reminds me of baits motel , don t let the internet pics fool you

My company was here to run a convention. The staff were incredible! Their staff worked with us 24/7 for a straight week to ensure the convention was as amazing as it could be. I wish I could give more than 5 stars, they all deserve it!

The resort is older, and has that older grand elegance to it that was popular 50 or so years ago, and I personally love every inch of it. The old suites are amazing and comfortable. I am looking at visiting again with my family for the weekend.

0 stars. 15 dollars for 2 drinks a 1oz rum and coke with flat beer. Absolutely the most disgusting tasting pizza i ever had they used freezer burned meatballs for the sausage when i asked why they said what do you expect it's a resort. Ok so because it's a resort we should pay 21 dollars for a pizza? With horrible cheese also. I had a stomache ache next day and can still taste the rotten meat on the pizza.

Went to Zanies comedy club and it was so fun. The atmosphere and comics were awesome. The drinks were extremely expensive, however.

We spent Christmas with family at the resort. It was a great time.

It was worth it! Kids had a blast and there is an indoor and outdoor pool. On the other side there is another pool area with jacuzzi and there is a shower to rise off. The staff is friendly and nice, I enjoy bringing my family for Sunday funday

The entire hotel smelled terrible, the rooms were outdated, and the staff were not the best at keeping the pools at the hotel clean. I would not reccomend this hotel to anyone.

Rooms and service are great. The location is very convenient. A lot of restaurants and points of ok interest nearby.

Called day of at 11:30am for early check in. They tell us they are sold out and can't accommodate...no big deal. Arrive at 4pm check in time and room isn't ready. No big deal again, but then 40 mins pass by and we see about 20 guests get keys as they arrive. We still need to get ready so we ask for any clean room available. They accommodate us with a double bed room, so at least it getting a little better right? WRONG they give us a key that doesn't work. Have to go back to front desk, wait in line again, then bell man walks us back to room to "try" key as if it was user error. It doesn't work so he uses his master key and let's us in. They stated we could stay in room if we wanted to which we were going to, but now we have to go back for a working key room. At this point we rather just go home instead of staying here. The most annoying part was when we were waiting in lobby for 40mins is that we saw 4 manager/lead/supervisor type of workers all chit chatting like there wasn't a line up to front front entrance or as if they were clueless to rooms not being ready! Never been here nor will I ever. Also, definitely passing onto our company who booked 50 rooms this was a very bad idea. Not only because of one bad experience, but because later we heard other coworkers saying they had issues as well waiting for their rooms. Rooms are out dated, tube TV, remote has tape holding the back battery clip, but I will say room was at least clean.

Great golf course. Best part is that you pass a mid course food and beverage shack three times during your round for fill ups.

Attended their NYE party package, and it was awesome. Dinner, drinks, buffet, brunch, all awesome.

Property is dated. Rooms (especially in tower) are seriously in need of renovation: ours was dirty and stained, with the scent of cleaning chemicals. Be sure to follow signage to not get lost.

We had dinner in the Jambalaya restaurant before attending a concert at Pheasant Run. The food was very good as was the service. It was decorated very nice for Christmas.

The resort looked appealing as we drove up, but upon arrival we had to wait 15 minutes in line as there was only one person at the desk, during peak check-in hours. We then got to our room on the 5th floor of the tower, looked ok but outdated. This is where little things matter: there was no doorknob 'do not disturb' hanger, no ice bucket liner (we used a shower cap), the coffee carafe had residual coffee in it from the previous tenants, and the housekeeper didn't leave more coffee and sugar for our second morning! We were also looking for a dirty clothes bag, usually found in a closet, there was none. But, there were 2 complimentary bottles of water!?!
We were here for a business reunion, and I must say that the dinner served was excellent, both the food and the service, although a bit pricey.
We would not recommend staying here if you're looking for an updated and upscale experience but fine for a quick night or with kids. We didn't use the pool areas, but they did look inviting.
We do hope there is a major renovation planned soon that will include attention to detail, this is a beautiful area!
I forgot to add, none of the cable channels were working the 2 nights we were there, when I called the front desk to inquire I was told they were working on it, then, sorry about that.....hmmmm.
