our water turned dark brown, and everytime we flushed the toilet, our sink would fill up, and not from the faucet, but from the drain, with green water. and my bed and bed sheets had stains on them. this place is disgusting.

Outdated overpriced shithole. The floor we were on had crumbs all over. Room is small and bathroom is smaller than many economy motels I have stayed at. No complimentary breakfast but they do have very overpriced breakfast options. We stayed here for our anniversary and will not be coming back.

Celebrated our 20th Anniversary. Had breakfast at Jamabalaya restaurant. Very good (improvements I would suggust french vanilla coffee mate and more hollandaise sauce on eggs benedict's). Used inside pool and hot tub. Water temperature perfect on both. Small issue (coffee pot would not work asked to be replaced, flowing morning still did not work). Upon checking out complained and they apologized and took deducted off money off bill. Very, very pleased with the customer service I had. Would totally recommend and stay there again

I thought picking pheasant run would be a good spot to take my husband on our first honeymoon. It was horrible. I was told certain things on the phone such as your view would be over looking the golf course. What was the first thing I did when I got into the room... I opened the blinds only to see the floor blow me and AC units. There was no view of the golf cours, in fact, I was on the total opposite side from it!! The carpet was all buckled (my husband tripped and fell on his butt) the bathroom had skiff marks, rust in the showers and paint missing off the walls. We left after seeing the place. I contacted the manager via email and she still has not held up on her end. I would not go here. This place was recommended to me by a lot of people whom I knew (who had not been there in the last 10+ years.. So maybe then it was nice. But not now)
Very disappointed. Never would I go back or recommend it.

Prepare to walk! This resort is HUGE! We we're lucky enough to stay in the tower which is in about the center of the resort, but had events all over. In our first day here I logged over 9000 steps walking back and forth for various reasons. The elevators are a bit precarious but the resport overall is quite nice

Coming during the week, don't bother, unless you golf then you are special.
I was so excited when we booked this hotel for our family (2 adults, a senior, and 1 kid -6) and it disappointed on every front.
For starters, the shower diet in our room was broken, there's was a one inch gap at the top of the glass door, meaning whenever you turned it on it leaked everywhere, at the top at the bottom all the way across the tile floor, which I did slip on, to the carpet. They sent maintenance to "fix the problem." He worked on it for a could minutes with a screwdriver and then proclaims it fixed and left. Went in to start the shower after he left opened the shower door an closed it and there was the gap again.
Called again for assistance and got "maintenance had gone for the evening and we can't do anything more for you except send up more towels " (in less than 5 minutes) and then never did, we got some from the pool area.

Beds were very uncomfortable and a horrible view!!

The pool we could go to, because they put up a notice 2 days before we checked in that the I/O pool was going to be down for maintenance during the days we were there, the other pool was very nice a bit odd but very nice with good hours and was heated and had a small hot tub. (Which Was broken) thank goodness we could get at one thing in this whole "resort".

We hoped to see a comedy show or take our son for a show at the kids theater, nothing and I mean nothing goes on during the week, so don't bother going during the week.
There our only one way into the hotel and only one parking lot. Unless you are there for golf then you can park in the exclusive lot in the back of the hotel near all the rooms orherwise you cam make the hike (ridiculous) from the front ever if you are disabled.

It is filthy. Dirty build up in the bathroom tiles, blatant staining on the pheasant Run pillows on the bed, old stained carpet, and a disgusting smell. But considering the circumstances and the fact that we were only using the room to sleep in, we figured we would stick it out. Until... I stepped out of bed to go to use the bathroom and stepped in something wet on the carpet. There was some sort of red chunky fluid all over the bed skirt and on the carpet. If they made any attempt to clean - it was not a good attempt. We packed up our things, and our 2 yr old, and got the heck out of there at 10:30pm. I called the hotel on the road to let them know we had checked out early - they were apologetic but that s it. I highly recommend u stay away from this place and book with a bigger name hotel that you know will at least be clean.

Price is good and room was a nice size, but the hotel is showing it's age. The fitted sheet and mattress pad seemed too small for the bed and came off in the middle of the night. Really hard water too. Pool was pretty awesome though.

Was attending a wedding both as a guest and vendor...

Was attending a wedding both as a guest and vendor and was surprised at how much updating was needed as well as how disorganized the banquet staff were. Glass hallways were leaking, to the point they were blocked off due to actual puddles. Air conditioner condensation right above the banquet hall entry dripped onto the bride and family while taking pictures. Stained chairs in the ceremony room, as well as a musty smell. The bridal suite had water damaged window panes, billed and cracked paint around the window and needed renovated. Cake wasn't moved from the floor as requested and the couple danced "around" it. The couple delayed their thank you speech for 8 minutes while we struggled to find someone who could turn down the lights and get a spotlight on them. Meals were miss at the vendor table, despite name cards being there and had to be requested twice by those vendors once they could finally sit down. Dessert was not brought to half the table, which included guests and was not provided to vendors even after asking twice. The resort is beautiful if you don't look too hard and the main resort staff seemed very polite and competent. There are posters of the resort that look meter with more modern furnishings, so perhaps they are updating slowly. I'd go here for a short stay-cation, as it's pretty local for me, but not to host a special event.

The service was atroscoius. The front desk leaves you on hold for 15 min and one person I'm particular is the most arrogant rude girl to be working there. Her name is rose Ruth not sure cause she told me the different names. Tried to get manager to no avail

Pheasant run used to be a great place to go. Last coupe years the management has changed so much for the worse we may stop going all together. Used to be a place to go have fun and relax now it's all about them trying to squeeze every penny from their guests. The new owners/management ruined Saint Charles' resort. I don't recommend this place to Anyone like i used too. Better off going to another hotel where you can feel like your on vacation at a hotel instead of at a hotel that is trying to charge you for every little extra and limit what you should/can do at any other hotel.

The apolsterey and furniture was old. The downstairs bathroom had a broken shower head with no pressure. The whirlpool tub was dirty and we had to clean it ourselves. The upstairs bathroom doors didn't close properly and flew open whenever the AC was on. The carpet was dirty. The hallway smelled like animal urine, and needed serious updating. We asked for late check-out and were told we could stay until 12pm, but after grabbing breaksfast on the resort we returned at 11:30am and were locked out of our room, neither room key worked. Staff was nice but it's definitely not resort quality facilities.

The resort itself is very beautiful, and its huge. Perfect for large gatherings. But the elevators are unsafe and not checked by the state or any sort of authorized safety personnel. Most of the rooms are spacious and modern looking, the service is good, but the food when catered by the hotel staff needs improvement... Other then that, it was over a nice experience.
