A little over a year in with a brand new Lexus and I'm pretty certain Park Place swindled me. First, somehow the battery was "a dud" and completely died last month. Now, somehow 2 of the tires are defective. They are nearly bald with an even wear at 15k miles on the car. The dealership is saying they "can't do anything" except charge me for new tires and an alignment, but in my honest opinion this never should've happened in the first place. The entire purpose of getting a brand new car is to avoid this kind of stuff. At this point, I think the dealership has some quality control issues that should be addressed. Either way, they've lost my business. On that same note, this is probably my first and last Lexus. There are other high-end brands out there that would make this right.

Their prices are pretty much 30% higher than most maintenance places but that's the norm, if your tab is more than $200 service you qualify for a loaner which is impossible not to do.
I did their $200 detail on the GS350 once, the interior, engine, waxed exterior were like a new car... totally worth it

This was the second time I have purchased a Certified Pre-Owned Lexus from Park Place. I have always been treated with respect and courtesy. Tony was awesome. Even though it looked like I might be leaning to a different car at a different dealer at one point, he did not brush me off as if I was wasting his time. He took time to be sure all of my questions and hesitations were addressed. The service department at Park Place is beyond amazing as well. I have never felt like they were trying to make me do unnecessary repairs. The service is great. I have always been offered an appointment where I could choose if I wanted to wait for my car or take the option if leaving in a complimentary loaner car while my car was being worked on. I had been car shopping for 1 week ready to trade in a Mercedes E350. I was unable to make a deal with Mercedes, Cadillac, Jaguar, or Lincoln. Several friends drove Lexus and recommended that I talk with them. A girlfriend gave me the name of her sales consultant at Lexus who was out. I was referred to Sean McClowry. Sean took a description of what I was looking for and emailed me as soon as a car fitting my description arrived on the lot. I drove over the see the car next morning and bought it same day. It was exactly what I wanted (with exception of interior color, but I can deal with that). Now I am a member of my girlfriends' Lexus club as 4 of us now driving ES 350's. Making a vehicle purchase is one of the most outdated processes in modern history. Typically, it's an exhausting process that no normal adult enjoys. The continuous back/forth is simply draining.
I'll tell you what, these guys have it right. When I first arrived at Park Place, not one sales associates approached me and I kind of liked that. I really dislike being stalked at dealerships and furniture stores. I browsed around the showroom and made my way over to the Pre-Owned section and was approached by Mr. Scott Miller. What a guy!
I'm a fairly honest person and at times, pretty frank. He asked me what brought me to the dealership for and I said, "I'm here to buy a car and not waste any time." He laughed and we headed outside. It took some time to get the ball rolling, but once we had the keys to the car I was there to pickup, we finally took the test ride. Scotty was more than helpful explaining the features and options.
Once finished with the test ride, we negotiated for about 20 min and the process was done. As I indicated, I was there to buy a car without the hassle and Scott and Park Place were onboard with me. From the time I opened the door and walked in until the time I walked out, I think it was a fraction over 2hrs. (with a test ride). The vehicle was prepped and delivered.
That my friends is what separates Park Place from the rest of DFW's dealerships. The experience alone and ability to deliver a vehicle without the hassle is a modern day car buying experience. Way to go Park Place.

Walking in I prepared myself to be bamboozled however I was pleasantly greeted by David Gilmour. I now realize that not all auto salesmen are created equal. David definitely went above and beyond to be sure what we purchased was just right for us. Customer service and building a relationship was of top priority to David. I was referred here by my husband, who'd been getting his car washed for free even though he had never bought his car there. So when I bought my Lexus I thought I'd try it out and have my oil changed there for the first time, and also discuss some other concerns I had with my car. Boy was I disappointed.
First the pros - Great, luxurious customer facilities with free drinks, comfy chairs, etc. Most of the staff were extremely friendly and courteous.
Now the cons - When I called about the free car wash I was told that the service was for customers who'd bought their car at a Park Place dealership. When I explained that my husband had been getting his car washed there for free for YEARS, I was told that it wasn't possible(!?!) Next, my "service advisor" - Jenn - was not helpful. I felt she could care less what I was there for. Just wanted to get me signed in and out of her way. I'd asked how long the service would take and was told 90 minutes. Well I was there for over 2 hours. When I was finally told that my car was ready, I still had to wait outside another 15-20 minutes for it to be brought to me. This was after I had talked to a couple of valets for help and service managers about the delay.
To me, the whole service thing and the relative expense is all hype. You really don't get that much value for your money, when I could have taken my car to a local Meineke or something, paid FAR less and would have been out a lot sooner!!
WE LOVE LEXUS!!!!! You really can t beat the Lexus experience. Whether it s the exhilaration that comes from being behind the wheel, or the truly white-glove treatment you get from the dealership every time you service, Lexus is really one of a kind. Truly an experience everyone should have at least once. Park Place Lexus is one of nicest dealerships you ll ever visit. Even if you don t own a Lexus (yet), you should at least go take one for a drive and visit this place for yourself. We love our Lexus, and so grateful to Park Place for taking such great care of both my family and the NX every time. They really take car maintenance to a whole new level. My wife and I rock-paper-scissors it out every time to see who GETS to take the car in. Highly recommend you go check them out!

Horrible experience. Recently purchased Lexus. Took the car in for repairs (loose bumper, tire issue, scratch on driver side that appeared after test drive). They "glued" the bumper and sent me on my way. No other work considered nor approved by management. Customer service has changed quite a bit over the years.

This was by far the BEST car buying experience I have EVER had!! We were a bit worried when we considered buying a car located 1500 miles away from us but Daniel Moore made this the easiest and most pleasent experience! Not only was the price MUCH less than expected but the customer was STUNNING. We have bought several new cars over the years and Daniel has provided the best customer service I have EVER seen! DON'T BUY THE TIRE & WHEEL WARRANTY
On Friday, February 12 which was exactly two years to the date that I took ownership of my ES350 Sedan with the Ultra Luxury Package, I attempted to use my Platinum Warranty on tires and wheels.
This add-on cost $1,250.00. It was sold as a catch all. Upon discovering a nail in my tire in an obscure place that could not be repaired without creating a possible hazard, I was informed that because my tire tread was measured at 2/32" and not 3/32" that my warranty was denied by the third party issuers. When my husband tried to explain to Efrain that we were unaware of this and tread measure was not mentioned when the "Platinum" warranty was being sold, he said he would check with his manager and let us know. To make a poor customer service shorter than real events that elapsed over a couple of hours, my tire did not get repaired, the warranty was not honored and the tire price match was explained away not because of the exact tire, manufacturer, and SKU# but due to roadside assistance, disposal, and installation. Needless to say, having been ignore by Kelly, Nick and Efrain and then have JC pop out of nowhere with concern only for the Efrain (trainee) and not the customer and reaching a solution to our satisfaction was more disappointing than I can explain. When selling a "Platinum" warranty if there is a microscopic measure that will inevitably void using it, then I would like to be made aware of that in advance of purchasing. Along the way, a simple apology for selling us the "Platinum" warranty without explaining the one thing that voids it did not feel like customer service to me. Thank goodness we were able to immediately go to an external tire retailer and purchase tires with warranty that counts years and mileage not an insignificant fraction designed to prevent unknowing customers from using a warranty for a single tire replacement $1250 later. The Lexus USA writes about exceptional dedication to customer service; this was NOT it! Park Place Lexus Plano hangs their hat on exceptional dealership experience and this was again NOT it!
I went there on December of 2014 with my parents to purchase a car for them and wow, it was such a good experience for my family. The sale person named Michael Ruscoe helped us and it was very pleasant and hassle free and also very quick, no going back and forth and stuff like that, just one time and it was done. Might want to look for him when you go there.

I have never written a review in my entire life but this place just made me write this very first one. Got a detailed job done there but walked away very unsatisfied due to the sloppiness and lack of customer service provided. I was told over the phone regarding the detail job that the dealer provides by a very nice lady that it s going to look like brand new when it s done. Of course, I didn t expect it to look like new but at least somewhat cleaned and attention to details. I got neither so I called to let the dealer know that I was unsatisfied with their work. Eventually I got to talk to Mr Black one of the service manager. I was asked to bring back the vehicle for them to inspect and point out to them what was missed. I got the car back after leaving it there from Saturday-Monday without any update until Monday s evening that the car is available first thing in the morning. I got it back but nothing seemed to have been done to it as if it sat there the entire time. Two stars because I got the rental car the entire time otherwise don t bother going here if you need your Lexus detailed.
We have purchased our last four cars at Park Place Lexus, via the pre-owned. The last two were with the very courteous, honest and profressional help of Scott Miller. The low-pressure and transparent process was a refreshing change from other dealers.
We bought our RX 350 in Park Place Grapevine and worked with service center for one year. Then we moved so we started to work with Park Place Plano. I was really satisfied with all my car maintenances. But recently, there are twice that they made me very disappointed.
I brought my car on Tuesday afternoon, June 27 with appointment for a scratch repairing on door handle. I told them that I have to pick it up by 11am on Friday, June 30. The supervior told me that he will let me know whether it can be done on time. On Wednesday morning, I received his call. He said it should be done by 11am. I felt so happy since I have another appintment Friday noon and I really need my own car back. Also, I indicated with the supervisor, if any issue happens making my car not finished on time, I will cancel the serivce since I cannot wait for it.
But Friday morning, I received another call from him for the notice that I have to pick it up after lunch, around 2pm. So I asked him to check whether my car was under service. Later, at 10am, he told me that my car was just pulled in the factory. I don't know how to express my anger. They promised me on Wednesday morning. And I emphasised several times that I need it on time. If they cannot make it happen, it is totally fine. I can bring it back next week. But how can they make promise but ruin it without notice?
The same situation happened one month ago with a tire repairing. I was late for a business meeting for about 2 hrs.
Both my husband and I like Lexus so much. We thought the service must be luxury like the car itself. However, the recent experience makes me really upset and disappoitment with Park Place Plano. Maybe we will bring the car back to Grapevine next time to see whether the service experience can be better...

My volvo lease is up in a month and have been test driving a few cars to help me decide what I would like to lease next. I have had less the stellar experiences with Park Place in the past. Despite that, I am fairly certain I would like to lease a Lexus. For time saving purposes I completed the application online. That was 3 weeks ago. I have great credit but found it odd that I have not heard a word since. Today (Saturday 1.23) I went to Park Place in Plano to test drive a RC200t. After walking the parking lot for over 30 minutes. Not one person came to ask if I needed assistance. As I was walking back to my car 2 salesman were standing outside conversing with one another as 5 or 6 salesman were walking around with other customers. I did find the car I like. But will not waste anymore time trying to earn Park Place's business. Call me crazy but it should be the other way around. I will be contacting Sewell and maybe they will take the time to want to sell a car and make an effort.

My buying experience at Park Place Lexus was second to none! This was actually the 3rd Lexus dealership that I visited in my search for the perfect car, price, and experience. The staff made me feel like family and went out of their way to accommodate my every need. As a single female, car buying can be intimidating!
