Went there around 10 pm and tried Chicken Tandori pizza. It was amazing and highly recommend if you like some thing spicy.
The restaurant was clean and the staff was friendly. The restrooms were closed for public due to covid. There were few homeless in the RVs in the parking lot but not around the restaurant.

Pizza is tasty but I saw a roach under my chair today at 5:30

Ordered Spinach and Feta cheese pizza.Got home the spinach was burnt ontop there was no sauce it was awful.
I called the store the guy who answered told me that the person preparing the pizza didn't know how to make it. I said then why is he working there.
I spent $32
on a pizza which is dam expensive
He told me since I ordered from eat streets he couldn't refund my money. He said he would give me a free pizza next time i ordered. Yeah right. Why would I order again when it was horrible.
No regard for taking care of a customer.
Guess we have to find a different pizza spot. $32.00 for a medium 2 topping awful pizza. I can spend same money at Zachary pizza and be so happy. Just didn't want to drive to Berkeley.
But i will next time.

I eat here at least once a week, if not more. The rotating taps are awesome. The friendly service is awesome. The pizza is awesome.

Great service, owner is always there serving and very helpful and extremely friendly. Very loyal to his customers as his customers are loyal to him. Also, this place is an amazing combination of a sports bar as well as a pizza joint with tons of TVs always playing current sporting events with an amazing and revolving drink selection and great happy hour deals with great food!

Pizza was delicious. I ordered a small but they made a medium by mistake

BJ makes sure everyone is happy. There is a bar and football nights are busy. Good pizza and great draught beer.

The lady was rude, and I didn't have exact change, I was $2.00 off , so she would give me my pizza. She didn't tell me on the phone that I needed to have exact change if paying in cash. I will never order anything from there again. I went to love pizza they were fantastic the pizza was great!

Great service and food. The atmosphere was versatile in as much as it is easily a family spot to eat as well as having a full service bar with lots of tv's for watching sports. The good was delicious and fresh. A great place for a good pizza!! Will definitely return.

Unprofessional female employ, have no whatsoever manner how to approach customer. Hope that changes if not they would definitely have one less customer

Salad bar was good as well as the garlic twist.TV's everwere with all the games on.friendly staff with happy hour 3 to 6 .

I am beyond upset! I placed an order for delivery and they never showed up. I been waiting for over an hour for my order and it shows they are closed! They charged my card and I never received my order! I will be in to complain and get a refund!! I will never order with them again!

Very clean establishment. Came here to celebrate an end of soccer season along with a birthday. Called ahead of time and they were so accommodating, fast and very tasty!

This is not the Straw Hat that I grew up with. There were many people in the kitchen area joking and having a great time. The whole time with total disregard for customers.

Brought my nephew and niece here for pizza.. they had ufc on most of the TVs but also had Tom and Jerry on another. The staff was really nice. They have a cherry lemonade machine.. chill spot to grab pizza. Would visit again when I'm in the area..

Damn good pizza, best straw hat i have been to. Perfect balance of crust and topings.

The owner is very friendly. Good food, great beer selection and a full bar. Lots of large TVs.

It's been years since I went to a Straw Hat. The last time I saw one was in the late 80's. I didn't know they still existed. They do and it was yummy in my tummy!

We went to the lunch AYCE pizza and salad bar. The salad bar was set up on time and pizza came out a little late, which set us back a little bit. I, personally, didn't eat any of the pizza but my dining companions said it was very good and they enjoyed it very much. They had cheese bread, too, which my companions really liked.

The salad bar was filled with fresh food and was very clean with a good temperature. There was a good selection and I was able to get full off my beautiful crafted salad. The owner was nice, too. He must have Yelp on his phone because I posted some photos while I was there and he complimented me on them, which I thought was pretty cool.

I would visit here again if I were in the area and I suggest you stop in for the lunch buffet.

Friendly staff, clean tables, lots of screen TV's and well kept salad area. Ordered med 3 topping pizza and was delicious. Atmosphere was cheerful and pleasant.

I ordered delivery and had it dropped at my work. Not bad for a chain, better than fast food pizza and cheaper. I ordered the person pepperoni pizza and teriyaki chicken wings. The wings were Bomb AF, crispy, moist, sauced up perfection. Definitely will order dinner from here again. Go get y all some.

The chicken wings were served at the right temperature, hot and freshly cooked. They were not the best wings I've ever had but the sauce was good.

Salad bar, need I say more. We come in regularly for the salad bar and cheesy, jalapeno bread sticks. Don't know if the picture does it justice but that is a salad plate piled highwith several types of lettuce/ spinach, potato salad, macaroni salad, veggies, and house made bleu cheese dressing. Of course they have pizza and sandwiches which we do occasionally order as well. Italian sandwich is our favorite.

Great place to watch UFC

We were looking for a low key place to watch the fights, and decided to check out Straw Hat because there was no cover charge. I'm happy to say that the place delivered above expectations on every front.

The staff were amazingly friendly, helpful, and fast at every step. There are big TVs everywhere, so it's easy to watch the fight from any angle in the restaurant. We ordered a sandwich, a pasta dish, some wings, and a plate at the salad bar, and everything we ate was good. There were also great prices on pitchers of beer, with specials on Modelo for the event.

I was also really happy to see that the crowd that came to watch the fights were enthusiastic and knowledgable UFC fans. I've been to other places where people really didn't understand the sport, or were there looking to pick fights, but everyone at Straw Hat yesterday was really cool, and we all went wild together when Daniel Cormier took the Heavyweight title.

Will definitely be back next time.

The jalapeno poppers was like eating rubber ...And the pizza was just bland.. Making me wait 30min longer than the ETA, did not help...

Great selection of beers and delicious pizza - owner is a great host and runs a fine establishment. Clean, friendly service and good times in Alameda.

I like this restaurant! They serve delicious dishes, their menu is varied, The chef in that place is a specialist, I like very much trying all their dishes. The dishes are consistently fresh, the service towards the customers is agreeable. I often eat in this place and I not even once was discontended. I recommend this place.

About a week ago I was eating here and from the back door came out a 45/50 year old Caucasian man wearing a t-shirt that smell like it had no been washed for a few days and full of dog hair... He was the cook that day

Love the lunch special, good pizza, decent salad bar, and they've recently started serving soup although they do charge a little bit more for it. They keep the pizzas coming out hot and loaded with topping during the lunch rush, there is always a good selection and it's always fresh.

It's been years since I had Straw Hat pizza.
This was very good and cheaper than I usually have.

This place gives amazing service and delightful menu. One of the best place around here. The meals arrived quick and the prices were fair. Highly recommended.

Good pizza. It reminds me of Straw Hat from when I was a kid, growing up in the 80s. A go-to lunch spot if you're working in the area like me

What an amazing place.It had been my 1st visit to alameda and decide to choose them.It was monday night football and it was my best part of life life having beer and watching games.The environment was very delightful.They have like 18 Tvs and yes full bar too!
For all those TVs and Beers I thought they might lack the quality in food and decided to order a Cauliflower crust Pizza.Say what!I never had such pizza in any pizza store.It was a god made Pizza!!tasty has hell!!!I was so impressed with the place that I asked the staff member if they reserve a spot for the party.And they Do.I will see you guys next month on my anniversary party and thanks for reserving a spot.
