We bought our RX 350 in Park Place Grapevine and worked with service center for one year. Then we moved so we started to work with Park Place Plano. I was really satisfied with all my car maintenances. But recently, there are twice that they made me very disappointed.
I brought my car on Tuesday afternoon, June 27 with appointment for a scratch repairing on door handle. I told them that I have to pick it up by 11am on Friday, June 30. The supervior told me that he will let me know whether it can be done on time. On Wednesday morning, I received his call. He said it should be done by 11am. I felt so happy since I have another appintment Friday noon and I really need my own car back. Also, I indicated with the supervisor, if any issue happens making my car not finished on time, I will cancel the serivce since I cannot wait for it.
But Friday morning, I received another call from him for the notice that I have to pick it up after lunch, around 2pm. So I asked him to check whether my car was under service. Later, at 10am, he told me that my car was just pulled in the factory. I don't know how to express my anger. They promised me on Wednesday morning. And I emphasised several times that I need it on time. If they cannot make it happen, it is totally fine. I can bring it back next week. But how can they make promise but ruin it without notice?
The same situation happened one month ago with a tire repairing. I was late for a business meeting for about 2 hrs.
Both my husband and I like Lexus so much. We thought the service must be luxury like the car itself. However, the recent experience makes me really upset and disappoitment with Park Place Plano. Maybe we will bring the car back to Grapevine next time to see whether the service experience can be better...
