never been in such bad hotel. I ask for hair dryer...
never been in such bad hotel. I ask for hair dryer 4 times after 1 hours they send it to me and she said do you still need a hair dryer.
bad AC, and small room plus $45 a night for parking.

In my best Ferris Bueller impersonation, "If you have the means, I highly recommend staying in the Atlanta Suite."
I have stayed in MANY hotel rooms, and it was by far, without a doubt, among the top 5 of all rooms I have stayed in. An EXCELLENT accommodation with a spectacular view of downtown Atlanta.
I only deducted one star because I'm anti-valet and you have no choice but to valet when staying here. Just factor in an additional $45 (as of 2018) for the valet charge.
I didn't stay in a room, it was actually a Taining! Everything was very nice. Location is perfect
Second stay here and unfortunately I wouldn t return. They didn t have the accommodations I was told they had for my trip with my 5 yr old.
The front desk wasn t very friendly upon arrival. Pool was closed, but that wasn t communicated until my daughter and I were on the 6th floor walking there. There was a roach in the foyer.
Overall, I was disappointed and being that there are so many other hotels in Atlanta, I would try another.
I will say I am basing this off my trip with my daughter because I looked up kid friendly hotels and this was in the top 10. I just didn t experience that for her.
The location of it is great! Being so close to many attractions.
This place is so popular people wouldn't resist to sit o. The floor and try the food outlets here...
Beds were very small and uncomfortable. Could not get the temperature in the room comfortable and to top it off, found a fake eyelash on the bedspread as I was preparing to go to bed. If it weren't for the convenience of location to the Dome, I would never even consider staying again!
No free WiFi. Waiting at the front desk to check in was too long. No snack area. Front desk wasn't very helpful as far as places to get medicines. Wasn't a great experience at all.
A great opportunity to see CNN! However, it is very regretful that I can not understand all the points that the photography is prohibited and the explanation in English.
nice older hotel. room was clean and quiet. very convenient access to georgia world congress center. cnn food court was handy too. no usb port in the room, so be sure to bring your ac plug to charge your electronic devices.
This terrace by the hotel is private space only for CNN employee.
Great staff wonderful food clean room easy to get to train just all around great
Clean facility, decent service. Could be a little more attentive
Great experience from booking the room to checking out. 5 stars from me.
Clean. Easy access to multiple nearby attractions.
Beautiful hotel and conference center but come on? No bathroom on the conference floor?
I really enjoy staying at the omni/cnn close access to the places i need to go the time. Overall i love the holels. And will be attending again
Great stay, attached to the CNN building. Staff is impeccable. Gym space is huge, pool is very lacking, especially for Atlanta.
Very pleasant place to stay! Friendly staff, clean facilities, and central location, especially if you're going to the Georgia Dome. Good value for downtown Atlanta. I'll definitely be back.
I would not recommend this hotel. There are many comparable, better hotels in the area. The hotel itself is very nice, however the service was not very good at all. They clearly did a rushed job of cleaning our room each day. Many things were left uncleaned and they kept taking our glasses and not replacing them, which was mildly irritating. Each time I needed them replaced I had to call the front desk 2 or 3 times before they would eventually send someone, the next day.
Also, I'm not sure what happened, but something had leaked into our room from the wall and soaked all of my luggage, clothes and my runners. It was some gross red/pink tinted water. I mentioned this to the front desk and the only response we got is that we would have to pack up and change rooms immediately. This was in the late evening after we settled in. He didn't offer to have clothes cleaned or anything. He did not care at all the inconvenience that would be entailed in the 4 of us having to pack up our entire room and the fact that half of my stuff was soaked and not wearable. I ended up not being able to wear half of my clothes as they were soaked in red tinted water soaked up from the floor. I'm just home now and have to hope it didn't stain anything.
Lastly, one of the main reasons we wanted to stay here was the sundeck/rooftop hot tub. This ended up being shut down our entire stay. We specifically inquired about this amenity. Had we known this wouldn't be functional, we definitely would not have stayed here. I had a good experience with one staff member who offered us free breakfast on our last day to try make up for the hot tub, which was nice. It is a good location and if you luck out and get good service it would probably be a good stay. But, don't expect any assistance if anything goes sideways during your stay.
Seats are entirely too close together. No room to move!
Great value and a great location! Stayed there 20 plus years ago and back this past weekend for a football game. Great property and great location. Valet is a bit steep but it is a downtown property and understand.
I ve stayed in a few hotels in this area of Atlanta, and the Omni has impressed me the most out of all of them. The first thing that stood out to me is how spacious the rooms are. My boyfriend and I stayed in the South tower. The room had 2 double beds, a large desk, a sitting chair, and a console under the tv (which held the mini fridge and keirug), and there was still plenty of room to move around. The bathroom was also a decent size, although the bathtub/shower was tiny.
The service was also amazing. We had an issue with the first room we were assigned. Our neighbors were extremely loud, and I could hear their conversation word for word through through the walls. (I wish I was exaggerating) We went to the front desk to ask for a room transfer and we we re given one immediately, no questions asked. Every employee we saw in the halls or elevators were very nice and conversational.
The room we had to switch out of was on the 6th floor, and it was one of the rooms that is connected to the one next door. I m not sure if that contributed to the noise or if our neighbors were just obnoxious. We were moved the 15th floor and didn t hear another guest for the rest of our stay. They asked if we would prefer a higher or lower floor at check-in, so if you re given the option I d ask for a higher floor.
Overall, we had a great stay at the Omni and would recommend it to anyone. We didn t really take advantage of any of the services the hotel offers, as we were in the city for an event at the Marriott, but what we did experience was more impressive than any other hotel stay we ve had in that area.
The Omni has been an amazing place so far. They have comfortable beds and amazing variety of foods, such as actual restaurants and a good court down below. The elevators can be confusing and occasionally frustrating. Overall great place to be and would possibly stay again.
My experience at the Omni Hotel was phenomenal because we were hurricane Irma evacuees and they treated us exceptionally. They waived the $50 for each pet fees & the $35 valet fee and gave us free breakfast buffet tickets. Breakfast buffet had the best food and dinner had my mouth watering. I stayed in a room with one king bed and an amazing view of Olympic Park, CNN building, and the ferris wheel called Skyview. We are right across the street from Coca-Cola world and the Georgia Aquarium, excellent location. The staff at the hotel we're extremely accommodating and help us in any way they could and went out of their way to help us. 10/10 recommend
Please train your front desk staff on customer service
Excellent the way in which teabjan very organized to give us the news
Very comfortable and clean. Nicely appointed rooms. Only downside is room service attendant failed to return with a requested item and a friend left a clothing item in the room and was not allowed to retrieve it even though we had checked out not ten minutes before.
Staff were very nice and helpful and room was comfortable
Fine stay for conference hotel. Nice and clean. Pretty much business standard.
Gorgeous main lobby, friendly staff and the good shop was a godsend when I needed to find stuff for my headache.
This is a must stay when you are visiting Atlanta. Their courteous staff and decorative rooms make your stay that much more inviting. Additionally, this hotel is located strategically near many of the amazing sites that Downtown Atlanta has to offer. I've stayed at this chain in New Orleans and they never fail to exceed my expectations.
Disappointed very Disappointed!! My husband had a 1 night reservation for this past Tuesday the 19th ,had some errands to do in Atlanta from South Carolina. We arrived late around 10:30pm check in was fast ,valet parking was $45 for a night we pay easley without problem because we didn't feel like searching for a parking. So this were everything started to feel weird, we are waiting for the elevator ,we got into the elevator and there was some empty glass wine cups in the elevator floor I say okay got out excited to get in my room to relax BUT NO DIDN'T HAPPEN so first of all as soonest I open the door I smelled something weird I kept walking and keep smelling the nasty smell I believe it was fresh sex or just an old smell/dirty the bed was made but definitely someone was literally just there because I found some dirty boxer together with some basketball shorts in the bathroom and the toilet was beyond dirty and it was water around the toilet floor definitely someone was there! and than the ice bucket was full still fresh ice on it?. Thank God I carried my own sheets and pillows case and that it was only 1 night! Glass windows was so dirty hands print and stuff ,the balcony floor and walls are so nasty definitely a nice view but they really need to clean and to update some stuff. And that's not all. Next morning for check out they had charge my husband for parking AGAIN! so we pay twice that's $90 dollar but of course we call them and got the other 45 back/thank you! And besides that valet people damage our car door like they open the door too hard or park too close to something and slammed but it had scratched and we realized too late on our way back home. We are definitely NOT choosing this Hotel anymore!
Nice room with a decent view of cnn. Exceptional room service and hotel staff.
I ended there to get some food before I went into the Mercedes-Benz stadium the food was cheaper than the stadium food was
The beds were hard and small for two adults. Everything else was great!
Internet is lacking since you have to either be a member or pay 9.95 a day for 3mbps. And along with that you will notice that it gets a bit tedious to go between towers if you want to use the gym or having meetings on the opposite tower.
The hotel was awful!!! I Booked on booking.com and the receptionist said that they haven t heard of our reservation and they were sold out. After on hold with booking.com for 2 hours, they finally got us a room. We got to our room and went to use the hotel phone which didn t work at all!!! Had to call and google them on our phone to ask for a late check out. I do not recommend this hotel if you re staying in Atlanta.
I did the online check in. Upon arrival, our room keys were not on the board. We still had to wait in line. We were then told they did not have a room ready for us, and were actually out of our room category. They had to go in the back and verify a reservation I had made months in advance, and also my online check in confirmation code. We then received a free room upgrade. The room s view was great, however there was already makeup on the pillowcase, hair on the floor in the bathroom, and a bug crawling on the bed. Later that evening, we called room service for cheesecake and they never came. Oh, and breakfast at the hotel in the morning ran us $52. The only thing this hotel has going for it is location. Valet parking is also $45 a night.
Omni Hotel is great. I love the Hawks and the cnn center.
CNN was a good place to grab food while at the Congress Center. Seating area currently under major construction though.
We only stayed a night before a flight. Only reason this place is getting the fifth star is for the incredibly affordable delicious restaurant located in the south tower. We had a bit of a wait to get seated but the food was amazing. There is a mandatory $50 valet charge for parking. Also, DO NOT PULL UP AT THE NORTH TOWER when checking in. It's closed and you'll either have to get help from a Bellhop (which I do anyways) or carry your bags quite a way to the opposite tower from the bridge that connects the two. Room was a decent price and I would recommend the hotel. Nail salon closed early without posting anything. My wife was upset but it probably wasn't busy on a Wednesday night.
I was amazed at how it looked inside I've lived in Georgia all my life and never been there.
Worst. Ever. DO NOT STAY AT THIS HOTEL. I arrived after a day of flights, they gave away my room and sent me :45 out in the middle of the night to a 1star hotel. THERE ARE MANY GOOD ATLANTA HOTELS. DO NOT STAY HERE!!!!!
I've eaten at the CNN center food court numerous times. A bit slow during big rushes, but otherwise great.
I was there for the Hawks game and the cnn center is always great
Beautiful & Clean hotel, Comfortable Beds, Friendly Staff
I attended a legal conference held at this hotel this past Sunday and Monday. It wasn t my first legal conference here and both times the staff has been stellar.
This time, I had some special needs and every single hotel staff from the bell hops to the concierges to the check-in desk understood my needs and were exceptionally humane and caring. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND THIS HOTEL, they go out of their way to cater to you.
[If you want to know why I had special needs: In another hotel nearby, the Glenn (an autograph hotel by Marriott) I had been assaulted by a man exposing and pleasuring himself in the women s restroom and blocking the exit. The Glenn hotel staff didn t even hear me screaming and another woman made them come help me. They didn t call the police until my friend demanded to know what was happening 30 mins later. They had no protocol at all. And their general manager has been nothing but rude.]
The next morning, I was still shaken and was too afraid to use the restrooms at the Omni, even though the Omni is brighter, has more staff and the restrooms aren t as secluded. When I asked for someone to escort me to the restroom, mentioning that I had been assaulted in the bathroom of the Glenn, the staff jumped up to see if they could help. They offered to call security for me to speak with the police even when the crime didn t happen on their property, and to help me feel more secure they went over how many security personnel were actively monitoring the surveillance cameras covering all the halls, including entrances to restrooms. Assured me they have security 24/7 with eyes everywhere.
The female concierges accompanied me to the bathroom all day long, and didn t make me feel like it was a chore. THE STAFF AT THIS HOTEL GENUINELY CARES.
Oh, and they knew exactly where my conference was and gave excellent directions to the police station!
Clean rooms and good staff. Really convenient to Mercedes-Benz Dome and Phillips arena
Decent hotel with great views of the downtown area. Housekeeping was poor; teabags weren't replaced, dustbins not emptied. Lots of places within walking distance; such as the aquarium and world of Coca-Cola.
Our room smelled slightly dusty and moldy, water smelled foul, garbage and laundry baskets sat in our hallway for days, and the ice machine on our floor never worked. That's all before we were surprised by the $45 a day parking that was never mentioned. 2 stars just for the location, everything is within walking distance and most other things are a $5 ride away.
They made my date night so special and a night I will never forget. Thank you
This hotel is very close to convention center. You even don't need to get out of the building. The lobby, ballrooms and elevators are awesome. However, inside my room was looking old and dated. I was expecting a much better view for the price. They don't offer free breakfast unless you are selected guest.
The environment was pleasant and personnel were very helpful. The food was good and not terribly expensive. I will be back.
For the price, this hotel is underwhelming. Overall customer service sucks. I guess because of the prime location to city attractions, they know that people will continue to book with them, so who cares about customer service? Valet service was terrible, yet it's almost a requirement. Had to wait 30-40 minutes before our car was brought up. Booked a King room and got a double room. The explanation that was given was that we should have checked in closer to 3p to get the room we reserved. Like I said, customer service didn't seem to be high on the list of priorities for this location.
Beautiful hotel and very clean, nicely decorated rooms. The bathrooms in the room were the best part in my opinion! Front desk staff was very friendly and they have complimentary cucumber water and fruit awaiting when you arrive which is a nice touch. The location is great too.
I will never stay here again. It is convenient when or if you are attending a event at the Georgia World Congress Center but don't look for any amenities. You can stay across the street at the Embassy suites and get more bang for your buck, free breakfast with cook to order omelets. I normally always get placed in the south tower so I was excited when I checked in a week ago for an event at the GWCC and placed in the north tower which is the newer side. The excitement turned into sheer frustration. I was there for three nights and four days. The lamp desk in the room did not work and neither did the two outlets on the front of the desk. The entire time I was there the toilet bowl tank would start filling with water then stop. This went on every 20 minutes so you could imagine getting sleep was difficult especially if you are a light sleeper. I alerted the front desk and I was told that an engineer would be sent to check out the issue but one never came. The hotel was too full to move me into another room. Upon check in I gave my credit card and expected to have the full amount plus incidentals authorized upfront. What I didn't expect is to have them authorize my credit card twice for the full amount!!! Unfortunately, I only learned of this when I went to use my card two days later and it was declined. I called the Omni and spoke to someone in accounting and was told sorry about the issue; the second one will fall off in three to four days....WHAT!!!! I don't care how convenient this hotel is to the GWCC center is NOT worth all this trouble. I advise you to stay some where else!!
I have always enjoyed my omni experience! Awesome staff, beautiful hotel.
5 dollar charge for decent WiFi. The staff was rude when they were not completely ingoring me as I was checking in at the desk. Elevator was malfunctioning. Not worth the cost. Everything was clean enough.
I've never experienced such poor custom service at a "4 star" hotel. When we arrived, our carpeting was soaking wet. It took 3 calls and 30 minutes to get connected with the front desk to get our room changed. Not one employee apologized or offered any concession. The bathroom area was not clean. There was built up grime and dirt in the corners and pink mildew on the shower curtain.
Nice place to visit diferente place to be able to eat and have fun.
I really want to give the hotel five stars as I enjoyed my stay except for the valet retrieval of my car at check-out. We waited 1.5 hours for our car as did everybody. That really defeats the purpose of valet parking. I am not blaming the staff at all and did not lose my temper as some did. However, if I had a flight to catch or an appointment, I probably would have lost my cool too. I did get a refund for the valet parking. The system is broken and the hotel needs to do something, try something!
The rooms and service was amazing plus the view from the room of the city was just hypnotizing.
Good hotel, with a very accessible location to the sights in the center, nice rooms.
