Room impeccably clean. Staff friendly, courteous and quick to offer assistance. The restaurant lunch was excellent. In an excellent area for sites, restaurants and the World conference center.

My room had the best view I've ever had in Atlanta! The room was clean, shower felt amazing and the bed was comfortable. My favorite part is the floor to ceiling windows of the Ferris Wheel and Centennial Park. The staff has been wonderful as well. I would definitely stay here again.

We were there for Momocon. Always a very pleasant experience. Staff is very friendly. Decent selection of food and drink at bar. Very nice aesthetic. Free phone charging station is a big plus.

If you look through the Omni s reviews, there is a theme. The valet parking is HORRIBLE. I ve stayed at this hotel around 6 times a year for the last five years. The valet has always been bad, waiting a minimum of 20 minutes to get your car pulled around and having to pay $35/night for the service . I ve stayed there twice in the last two weeks and the valet has managed to be even worse. As a matter of fact, when it comes to valet it can t be any worse. Two weeks ago, they lost the keys to my car. The valet attendants were unapologetic, uncommunicative (I found out they d lost my keys by overhearing a phone conversation after I d been waiting for half an hour) and seemed to be of the opinion that my frustration was completely unwarranted and that I was being a real downer. It took over 3 hours to get the key replaced and I still have to go to a Toyota dealership to get the key fob replaced. After hour 3 I finally got an apology, a little late if you ask me. Fast forward two weeks and I m staying here again with my family. We need the car so we call down to the valet to have them pull it around no answer. So we use the new test system they have rolled out. We get a text back after a few minutes that due to high volume they are not using the test system. Fine. We head down expecting to see huge crowds waiting for their cars. The valet lobby is empty and this is where the fun begins again. After waiting half an hour for the car and being assured it s just around the corner, the attendant asked what type of car and color. That seemed a strange question, since according to them a valet was currently in the car bringing it around. After another twenty minutes the attendant comes back, and I swear to God I can t make this up, asks Are you sure that is the color of your car? . Holy crap, this time they lost the whole car. On top of this the attendant is rude and giving us an attitude because we finally demanded they call us a cab as we were already late. Keep in mind we had been waiting for almost an hour and been fed a bunch of lies up to this point. When I brought the attendant s bad attitude and rude behavior to her boss s attention he wasn t surprised and nor did he appear care. Apparently, this is business as usual for the Omni valet and they have no desire to attempt to improve the horrible service. Fortunately, they were able to locate both the car and the keys by the next morning. No explanation was given. I sincerely believe that that they don t think they did anything wrong. Mistakes happen, but when there is no accountability for those mistakes there is a big problem. As for the hotel, it is overpriced but a decent place. The location can t be beat. However, the Omni Atlanta has gotten their last dollar out of me and I would strongly advise you to seek lodging elsewhere. That is unless you enjoy ridiculously long waits and dealing with surly, unapologetic, unprofessional, uncommunicative, unaccommodating people with bad attitudes that lack any sense of accountability.

Perfect place to have some leisure time outside of work. The food court was pleasant, but for sure the staff at the Omni was very nice. I enjoyed my time there for sure and definitely plan to go back!

Marvelous accommodations. I got stuck in Atlanta on my way from Alabama on a Greyhound. I honestly didn't want to leave after my stay in this friendly, immaculate and beautiful hotel. The service was tremendously ambitious. I more than recommended you stay there. Happy travels.

We stayed in old tower and I will never stay here again. Service was awful--asked for wine bottle opener & it took almost 45 min to get it; asked for extra pillows and never received them (called twice). The lobby bathrooms were out of toilet paper and absolutely disgusting. The Prime Meridian restaurant was not even busy and it took us an hour to get our food and 30 minutes alone just to get our check after asking/pleading multiple times since we were about to be late to concert. The waiter never checked on us after we got our food and rolled his eyes and was rude when we asked for check. Luckily the tip wasn't built in to the bill because there were 8 of us and he didn't deserve even 10% tip.

My friends and I stayed while a game was going on, very unintentional. The parking was absurd. It took over an hour to park. Then, we were told that it will take hours to get our cars when we returned due to the overflow. The Omni corrected the matter with free parking for our stay & a $100 credit. Once we checked in, we went to our room where a dirty towel was still in the room. When paying over $200 for a room, one doesn't expect to find anything dirty in their room. The white duvet covers had their time and they were now grey. The Omni corrected it by giving us $100 off of our room. The next concern was safety. While there, an active shooter was present. We found out through other guests. Instead of having an Omni security representative to guide us to a safe place while the shooter was apprehended, we were frantically trying to get to our rooms. We later found out that the shooting started on the 28th floor while we were on the 23rd floor. I in no way feel that the Omni was responsible for the shooter. I was frustrated that the Omni did not have anything in place for such events. The way of the world has changed so every business must have safety precautions in place due to these changes. My friends and I could not even rest. We based our moves on assumptions because the Omni did not communicate with their guests. I appreciate the Omni attempting to correct their mishaps. This is a 4 star hotel so my expectation of what the Omni's service should have been was higher than what they delivered. The best thing from the weekend was the Omni's breakfast buffet. From the $100 credit, my friends and I indulged with breakfast and it was a treat. If you are planning to stay here, please ask if they have some safety precautions in place if something horrific happened.

Was in town for a week long industry convention and will be staying at the Omni CNN center from now on.

I love that I can walk through the hotel right into the CNN center.

My room was very spacious with a view of the ferris wheel. Also love that I didn't have to walk outside in the rain to get to the World Congress Center.

My room staff was friendly and attentive. Room was clean...which I love. I felt comfortable here.

The bed was uncomfortable my liking but as long as I have a pile of pillows I'm good.

We ate at Morton's inside the hotel a couple of times and the food was awesome. You must try the fried calamari...it is fried with what I believe to be the peppers, artichokes, and carrots from a jar of pickled jalepenos.

Ooo, I looooved sitting in the walkway between the rooms and main lobby. It was relaxing...you can people watch if that's your thing.

The park with water fountains are immediately across the street.

The African American Museum, Aquarium, and Coca Cola Museums are a quick walk from the Omni.

Yep, this is where I'll stay from now on when I'm in Atlanta.

Glitzy, fancy schmancy. A lot of convenient services on the first floor.
But...the USPO is like Cinderella, stuck behind the stairs like they purposely what to hide it. I looked at Google like "Did you lie to me again?!?" Security guard had to adjudicate and point me in the right direction.

Worst hotel experience ever. Imagine a two night hotel stay and you her go wait 1 hr the first night and 3 hours the second night just to park your car: valet is trash!! Can t park without valet yet, it s so disorganized. Don t waste your yer here.you will be frustrated. I had small children with me.

An excellent hotel right in the city center with a great view over Atlanta. The staff is professional and attentive. The rooms are well sized and from my point of view clean and well maintained. The bathrooms are rather large. Mine even had a bathtub. I liked to have the CNN food court nearby, which is perfect to have a small snack in between.

Never again. service is awful. I'll stay in another hotel next time. Tired to call room service at 11:45 ,and the sorry group wouldn't answer the phone. Last time I'll put my company in this hotel, and I'm talking 8,+ rooms.

Start Farm Arena (the old Phillips Arena) is fun! The courtside bar on the floor is pretty cool, and I love all of the additional lounge areas. The coolest part of all is Killer Mike's barbershop inside of the stadium!

The hotel is very nice, very well-maintained, and the staff is friendly and helpful. The location is fantastic; right in the heart of Atlanta, across the street from the Olympic Park, and within walking distance of the World of Coke, the civil Rights museum, the Aquarium, and a lot more. The pool is a bit small, but they've got a nice spa, and their work out room is quite large, very clean, well-equipped, and they have Gatorade in a water dispenser which is kinda cool.

The PBX team is the best part of this property at the moment. Housekeeping and Maintenance were also excellent. But the rest of the staff needs either more customer service training or a vacation. The property really needs to be renovated and basic repairs need to be made throughout the hotel to get my vote again. Fixtures were falling apart and broken and furniture was ripped and sticky. I have stayed here 5 times and unfortunately it has gone downhill in service since the first visit. If the hotel management would allow the positive energy of the PBX team to lead the staff, it would make a world of difference and also give guests a sense of place. Atlanta is a really cool city and it would be wonderful to feel welcomed by local residents who are proud to live there and know the city like the back of their hand.

Location was excellent, close proximity to food, entertainment/sports venues, nightlife, and other downtown attractions. The room was not clean, furniture was old and showed various signs of wear, bathroom corner contained a wad of hair...very nasty. The electrical outlets in my room were very loose and made me feel uneasy about the saftey of other guests as well as myself. Service was very friendly, helpful, and we're the best asset of this establishment. I purchased a Groupon for a special price, but the amount I thought I was saving was made up from a mandatory valet service that no knowledge was shared prior to my arrival. The bar was overpriced and also ordered 2 bottles of beer sent up to my room and charged $28.00, excluding a tip. Looks can be deceiving, this hotel is impressive at first glance, but once you get up close, you will be eagerly anticipating your check-out.

My family is a long time customer of Omni Hotels and we are usually very satisfied with the hotels and resorts we've stayed in over the years.. Unfortunately my recent mother-son weekend getaway in our beautiful city of Atlanta did not meet my normal expectations. The Omni at CNN Center needs some serious updating and I thought renovations had just been done a few years back, however, maybe not in the north tower where we stayed? The carpets were dirty, the bathroom wasn't clean with hair in the shower (not ours) and the walls were filthy. The room was dated and that would not have been an issue if it were clean. For the price there were many small details left out. We did not have a do not disturb sign- being woken up both mornings early when your on vacation is not pleasurable, especially when traveling with children and I asked for one although one was not brought to the room so I told the front desk to skip cleaning if we weren't able to have it done after 10am but this was ignored. The room service menu was very limited and didn't offer in-room lunch dining, the parking fee for $45 a day as the only option is absurd when you can park across the street for $20 for 2 days in a parking garage or lot and the pool was very disappointment, small, hot tub not working and area was unclean. I'm a huge fan of my lovely city and all that we have to offer and for years we have enjoyed staying at hotels in all parts of our city making it an easy escape from the hectic week. However, next time we will not be staying at this property until we hear there's been some updating to the facility. I do want to be sure to include how lovely, kind and extremely professional every single staff member was from checkin- to in -room dining to housekeeping. Omni knows hows to hire some outstanding people to work for them and this review is by no means directed towards anyone at this hotel.

It is in a great location in Atlanta. Close to CNN, Phillips arena, Mercedes Benz dome, college football hall of fame, Georgia world Congress center, etc. I attended a function in the ball room and we were well attended to.
