I am very happy with my experience so far with National Debt Relief. They are always friendly and able to explain and give me a good perspective of my situation. THANKS NATIONAL DEBT RELIEF!!!....

So far so good! I pulled these guys in to help me regain my sanity and fend off some creditors who were overtaking my life. I see horror stories about any company I google because humans LOVE to complain...but so far these guys have been awesome! I've only been putting money in the secure account for 3 months and they've already settled my largest single debt for about 40% of what I owed. I can't wait to continue singing their praises as we continue to beat these bastids!

We were hesitant at first but the program worked. It took us just under 12 months to complete the program. Our creditor's are happy, we're happy and our credit score is better than it's ever been. The associates at National Debt Relief have positive attitudes and are proactive when contacted. Thank you.

So I do not recommend National Debt Relief for anyone that has active accounts. If you have an active account/ active debt you need to contact your creditors and work out arrangements because National Debt Relief will have you taken swiftly to court where they can place liens and garnishments. Your creditors will not work with National Debt Relief because they will not receive money for months. Now if you have debt that is closed/ charged off then yes National Debt Relief can probably assist.

I attempted to use National Debit Relief, the moment I mentioned to my creditors what I was doing I was served with a Warrant in Debt. Eventually out of fear more than anything I filed Chapter 7. I regret doing that as well but in my situation National Debt Relief, relief was not swift enough to keep my wages from being garnished.

I am sure it s in the fine print but they don t make it clear as to what kind of fees they charge you. It is 25% of the original balance of each and every one of your credit cards. Also you will have to file any of the reduced balances from your credit cards as other income when you do your taxes. For example if you owe 10,000 dollars in credit cards you will pay them 2,500 just off the top for their services and let s say they negotiate that 10,000 down to 7,500, you will have to file an extra 2,500 in other income when you do your taxes. I can honestly say that going through NDR was one of the worst financial decisions I have ever made. It cost me MUCH more to go through them. Do yourself a favor if you re in debt and negotiate directly with your creditors you will save thousands of dollars. Companies such as NDR should be eliminated.

Great Customer service. I have been on the program for 4 months and already have a settlement offer on one of my debts. Everything is moving along as described up front. Great feeling to be moving towards a debt free life style!!!

I'm giving a 3 for my current experience I just started a month ago & I'm uneasy dodging my debt collectors. Waiting to pay enough for negotiating. If it goes well I'll change my review so far nerve racking

They essentially do what they say they do. However, they are not really the negotiators they claim to be. They are essentially order takers governed by an auto-response program that doesn't allow these order takers to even know your case when they call you with updates. Their system doesn't really allow them to act based on unique information about your case. Having said all that, their service is legitimate. They are at least accomplishing, albeit a bit expensively, what I ask them to do for me.

We had hospital bills piling up, and it got to be too much. NDR isn't a debt consolidation loan place, so there isn't a massive monthly payment. We we're even able to set up a bi-weekly payment! The payments are affordable, and we're kept in the loop from start to finish. They explained everything to us, and kept us in complete control of everything, even giving us the choice of whether to accept a lower offer or to wait for another offer to be made. Definitely would recommend! It hasn't even been a year yet, and we've reached a settlement on two debts!

I was having a hard time keeping up with my credit card payments and other bills and I needed some help. I ran across National Debt Relief over the internet, read their reviews and was hesitant at first. Enrolled last February of 2018 and so far they ve settled 8 out of 13 creditors, 5 more to go and I m debt free. Good job National Debt Relief.

As always, I was very pleased with the debt settlement reached by National Debt Relief. Everyone there is ALWAYS so pleasant and helpful. I appreciate everything that you do and the manner you do it in. Thanks so much.

You want to read a real review, sort your reviews by the lowest ratings:

This was a 1 star rating & review; I have just changed it to 5 stars so that all people can read this review. Unfortunately, Google sort it automatically by the 5 star ratings; if you want to read the real reviews written by real people, sort the reviews by rating and start with 1 star reviews. Otherwise you will be reading reviews written by people who work for National debt relief.

My review:

I am still a customer of National debt relief - NDR; in the middle of the process. At this point I thought I want to share these facts- I wish somebody had shared before I signed up.

1. All of what you hear on the radio of commercial promoting NDR is phony gimmicks, fake statistics and exaggerated numbers.

1. When signing up with NDR to have them resolve your debt; your credit score will deteriorate drastically; because for the first 6 to 8 months , you pay NDR Not your creditors and you will be missing on your creditors payments.

2. At least one creditor will take you to court; NDR will take the Vase position when that happens! They do not know where to go, what to do and they tell you: go to the court and ask them to give you more time! Even though they will sell you a service called legal representation .

3. Their first priority is their commission; NOT to pay off your debt. You will notice when they settle down an account that the first payments will be little- like $15 and the last payments will be big ones- like $700, and that is because they paid themselves first.

4. They agree with you on a certain payment when you first sign up; they soon start calling you to make extra payments to satisfy the creditors but they will never ever use some of their fees ( their commission) to pay off a creditor.

5. You may not have an option; but just make sure you know what you are going into.. they won t tell you everything. NDR will take advantage of your weakness and sell you things you do not want to buy.. like the legal representation . They will also take advantage of your whole financial tightness. It is vicious.

6. Do not get deceived by their rating; I am pretty sure most of these people who rated them five stars work for them.

7. When NDR settles down an account and tell you you SAVED $1500, Do NOT BELIEVE them, because you actually did not save this amount, you probably would have saved $200 and paid NDR the $1300.

Updated on 2/6/2020

8. When you graduate , NDR sells your information to other phony organizations- your phone #, email, address and who knows what they do with your banking information. I will and see and update.

I had so many outstanding credit cards that I felt there was no way out and a never ending ordeal with the collections calling. When I found out that NDR was going to do all of the negotiating with them, it was a no brainer I signed up. My life is much more at ease. I don t fear now every time my phone rings. Thank you NDR.

I am feeling releaved of a burden of the creditors that I have and a sense of things being in control , I am not worried like I was and not stressed out trying to pay the debt that I have with not enough money .

The slowest and most unorganized company I've ever worked with. Not to mention most reps speak without knowledge, caught them in multiple timeline lies already...make the debt calls yourself or find another company.

There are no words to describe my entire experience with National Debt Relief. Before National Debt I was paying over $800 a month in credit card bills. From day one they were there with me every step of the way and every time I spoke to a Representative they were kind and compassionate and would do anything to help me figure out how to manage my accounts. On one such occasion, I got the privilege to speak to an amazing human being by the name of Yrianna who listened to me with compassion. She was personable and so kind. She helped me in more ways than one and I will be forever grateful to have had the pleasure of speaking with her. Thank you so much Yrianna.

Husband contacted them to see if they could help us out. I did give my husband permission to submit my SSN and was told the rep would call me later that day. He never called. Next thing I know I'm told by my husband I have documents to sign. I look them over to find that on our "budget" he failed to list any utilities and groceries. Mind you not my husband but the rep failed on this. I would not recommend based on this.

I had a year with the program, the monthly payment was affordable but not enough to build enough funds to cover other creditors, so pretty much they only settle one account, then they offered a loan thru Liberty Lending to rush payments for the rest of my debt. I will have to start over to pay the loan, I am pretty sure I will end up paying the same amount I owe in the beginning but I have no other options.
Customer Service is good but all those fees build up, not all fees are explained in the enrollment call, I noticed that when they charge me 23% of the initial debt for each account.
Is a good program but I think you can work better/pay less and faster with the creditor itself.

My initial conversations with both Credit.org and then National Debt Relief went very well. They were both very informative and when I asked my National rep the same questions 15 times he was very pleasant and continued to be patient and helpful throughout our conversation. I felt confident that I am making the right decisions for myself and hope that the process will allow me to come back at the end with 5 stars for this company. Thank you!

Thank you National Debt Relief.

Received my first settlement call yesterday. The customer service agent seemed to be as excited about it as I was. They negotiated a settlement with one of my creditors for 60% of the debt owed.

I have only been in the consolidation program for 6 months (paying the minimum monthly payment suggested by NDR) and have already seen great results. They negotiated one of my debts from $4,000+ to under $2,000 *which has now been paid off and another they negotiated from $11,000+ to under $6,000. I'm very excited to see my debt shrinking! Highly recommended!

do it on your own , after getting fed up with fees and nonsense, and always asking for more money i quit . And settled 8000.00 dollars in debt for 3500.00 in 2 days . Dont let them drag your debt out for 3 years you can do it by yourself. Yes they have lawyers to protect you , but as long as you acknowledge the debt you can do better on your own. I have about 8 debts an 3 with there fees i wound up almost paying back in full . Please listen to me do it yourself. And al of these positive reviews cant be real. And on Facebook they actually got rid of there review page so what does that say

They, in a very professional manor, have done exactly what they said they would do. We are very pleased with National Debt Relief.

I used National Debt Reliefs services for roughly 9 months without issue but finally had to cancel my enrollment in their program which they were quite helpful with. I was told that I had $1,200 that would be credited back to my account but only received $701 a few days later. When I called to inquire I was told that over $400 in debits were made the day after I canceled my enrollment and that nothing could be done because the money had already been sent to the creditor. Lastly when I was told I m sorry sir, I will be make a call into our upper management so that they can review your issue after being told nothing can be done, I asked to just speak with someone in upper management myself to which I kept just getting the same response... I will be making a call to upper management to review your issue .
I thought they were great up until I actually needed anything that they didn t get their 15-20% cut of and then all of a sudden they re the most useless morons I ve ever dealt with.

National has been a huge help and couldn t ask for more. I have been using them for about 6 months and have nearly resolved 50% of my debt already. I had my doubts after reading some reviews but figured I would take a shot because they will give you every dime back that you pay in towards your debt if you tell them to with no questions.

10/11/17I've been waiting to make this review for a while. I've been part of the program for about four or five months now. I make bi-weekly payments in an amount based on my income and expenses. I settled on my first account today. The settlement was 1/4 of the actual debt. I am more than pleased. I will continue to make payments as scheduled and will update this review. Five stars for great customer service- knowledgable, concise and professional; accessibility- client portal allows me to track my progress and money, somewhat similar to online banking. Yes, there are fees that are included in my payments, and yes my credit did take a hit. For my debt and my circumstances, this was all worth it. I am taking a proactive approach to getting out of debt, compared to the minimum payment cycle I was struggling to keep up with. Also, I am enjoying the peace of mind and quality of life since enrolling in the program.

National Debit Relief is a life saver and the people are very kind, patient, and really care about helping you to be debit free. The experience has been a very awesome one and I would recommend them to anyone who wants to be free of debit.

I'm not paid by NDR, and I've been in the program ...

I'm not paid by NDR, and I've been in the program long enough to have paid in to it and have debts settled. None of the one bad reviews here have any substance at all. They're all from not actually reading what was signed up for, and everything is very clear if you actually read the information.

Someone mention their credit going down? That's mentioned up front since you are making a concious decision to not pay. NDR can't actually do anything until your debt is in collections.

Sheriff come after you? Because you didn't pay attention to the fact that you get legal help for a fee rolled in to your monthly payment, and you will get the documentation of that (that hopefully you kept around)

Their fees after settlement? Also spelled out right there in front of you! Pay attention to what you're doing, because when you do read that you'll find that right there it says their fees come out of the money you're paying in. You also receive a payment schedule from them on how long it will take. Do a little bit of math and realize that yes, you're paying MUCH less than what you would owe. It's not "too good to be true", you still have to work hard to make it work for you. If you thought it was pay some money and your debt goes away, you're doing it wrong.

So no, the one star reviews are folks who were not paying attention to what they were doing. It's not even the fine print that says all this stuff, it's spelled out in the program brochure for you, explicitly. When you first talk to them on the phone, you can ask about their fees and such and they will explain them. Pay attention to what you're doing and you won't have any problems.

I was in a really bad situation. And National Debt Relief offered me help I couldn't resist. Along with helping me i am Regaining my freedom back from debt.Thank you National Debt Relief. I will be one of many to share my Experiences with you. For helping me regain a debt free life.

I found out about National Debt Relief through the Better Business Bureau, and their service is really top notch. I was told how the program worked and what to expect from beginning to end--nothing was "sugar-coated" and all the figures I was never increased throughout the program. I was able to pay off my credit cards and student loans (over $85,000) in almost 4 years and save thousands off what I owed at the time, and a lot more off of any interest or fees I would've paid in the future (especially with the 20-year student loan repayment term!) and see my credit improve in the interim.

I would whole heartedly recommend their services to anyone, family even. Someone is always there to pick up the phone on their end whenever I call, and I had online access to all of my accounts which is very important. Working with them made paying off my accounts a lot less stressful than it had been on my own.

After reading some of the reviews I am unsure if I should cancel this program in the morning. The representative I spoke with was nice but it is not about nice customer services. She needed to be more knowledgeable about complex questions. I was not impressed about the negative customer comments and the one star rating. After reading customer comments I will post a one star rating as I just completed the application process online a few hours ago. I really am unsure if this is the right program for me. I got myself into this debt and it is my responsibility to get myself out. I am going to opt out.

DO NOT DO THIS!!!!!! Crooks! They claim they are saving you money and helping you, they are making money off of your debt and the desperate financial situation you are in. You are better off contacting the creditors your self and negotiating....National Debt Relief will keep the difference of what you owed the creditor to what they negotiated it down to and then call it a fee! The amount of money and time I wasted. If I did it myself I would have already had everything paid off and would have saved money. DO NOT DO THIS!!!!!

In a time of swallowing my pride - this team made this process one of ease, comfort, education and they have fulfilled every goal they set out for. For anyone turning their financial gears upward - don t hesitate make the call!

While I appreciate their customer service and they...

While I appreciate their customer service and they did try to work with me to make me happier after their original intake person purposely misled me (told me this was a debt consolidation, not a debt payoff where they allow your credit to get totally shot by not paying for months on end and then taking a payoff "deal").

Their projected savings is also misleading.

For example, the amount of debt I put into the program was $9,000.

One credit card I thought was part of the program actually was NOT. In that case, after finding out it wasn't like a year later, I was able to strike a deal with the creditor directly to pay $900 as a pay off (on a $2,000 card). I happened to have it because of a tax return, so woo. I was able to do it myself and saved myself 60%.

So then...they don't mess with the creditors until you have a least half the pay off amount. One creditor dropped out the program, so I still had to pay that creditor directly (which I also struck a deal with directly).

That dropped my debt amount down to $7,000 in the program.

Currently I have one creditor left. By the time I done paying into this program I'll have paid $7,500 to them. So all I'm saving is interest, which I could've gone to ACCC (GO TO THEM!!!! American Consumer Credit Counseling!!!!!!!) and saved my credit.

They don't tell you all these fees they charge you. And it doesn't show up unless you know where to look.

For example, one of my creditors was originally $2800 owed. They got an agreement for $1350, so they send you an email saying "We've saved you $1450!! That's more than a 50% savings!!!" Sounds great, right??

BUT, they charge a "one time fee per creditor" that is half of whatever the agreed amount is. I got charged $740 by them for this one creditor.

So now my savings is about...20%, not 50%. BUT!! That's not all, I get charged for EVERY LITTLE FEE--I get charged by them a monthly service fee of $10 (that's $500 over the life of this program for me). I also get charged $12 by their secondary company GLS monthly (another $750 over the life of the program). Then, I got charged at least 10 times $170 for LAWYER FEES ($1800 to $2000 over the life of the loan). They even charged me the $1.50 it took them to PAY OVER THE PHONE!

It's totally misleading. I'll NEVER use this company again.

I was overwhelmed by debt from my divorce. I tried everything to resolved it. I couldn't get a loan to pay it off and I saw a commercial and decided to give this a try. I signed up in January and National Debt Solution has settled two of my accounts so far for a lot less than I owe - one for half of what I owe! I am completely confident that they will help me resolve the rest quickly so that I can get on with my new life. The customer service reps are kind, helpful and understanding and make speaking to them a pleasant experience and they are genuinely happy to deliver good news.
