This company takes their time to get to know you and the problems you are facing. After that, they make sure that they get the best possible settlement for you. And the fact that they call you during each settlement and go over all the options with you is just amazing. I would always recommend them to other people in need.

So far we have paid $11,176 in fees? This is horrible. We used this service because we were told the fees were minimal. We have paid 100% in fees. How is this a savings when I have received letter after letter from these creditors trying to settle without all of these fees. I am so disappointed in this service. I would like a clear understanding as to why we are paying all of these fees. They also do not give you a proper idea of what you still owe.

I just hung up with Marcus from the Show Low office and am very pleased with the results. When he asked if I've heard of the company, I immediately jumped on google to refresh the information I located a week back. Seeing these ratings scared the bejeebus out of me.

Marcus walked me through the program, assessed my situation and told me I did not have anywhere near enough debt to use their service. He apologized for wasting my time, then gave me some helpful tips to get back on track.

My main issue is identity theft, so I must get with the local police to file charges. I was very pleased with Marcus. Sean Scott on the other hand... He told me he would call back in 5 mins last Friday.. never received that call.

Don't do it!! The fees will kill the entire process. They will tell you that they told you upfront that they take out 25 to 45% of your debt off the top after the first negotiation is reached. After 7 months, I've paid into the program over $3,500 and only $100 has gone to my creditor. I only have $190 in my account after all the fees. Do your research of how to do it on your own! I made a very bad mistake.

I almost declared bankruptcy before National Debt Relief. Your professional, courteous, and compassionate staff answered my questions and concerns. I didn't think I would ever get rid of my credit card debt. Thanks for your support and guidance!

I've worked with Christopher first from the National Debt Relief, and he was reallly helpful. He gave me all information, provided me with great law office group Gitmeid Law Group. I was out of debt in 2 yrs, which is really fast and I saved like a half of my owned debt! Thank you very much again!
The customer service on a highest level possible!

Very disappointed with this company!! The left side has no idea of what the right side is doing. Have had 5 calls for same item that was supposedly already resolved. Very few friendly reps.
Negotiations very disappointing.
Received call from NDR of great opportunity which was to go with loan from Liberty Lending which I did. Was advised that loans that were previously negotiated and have a long monthly payment schedule would be reviewed and potentially renegotiated with lump sum payoff- not true! Those creditors will just get a nice lump sum payoff due to me taking the loan at 20% interest.
Negotiators received 20% on each original balance. Not seeing incentive for them to truly negotiate on my behalf!

They have made turning all of my credit card accounts over to them very easy.
The calls are nearly none, emails are seldom received, & credit card statements are no longer mailed to me.
To my surprise, one of my accounts has been settled. Very fast negotiations.
I recommend National Debt Relief.

NDR is heaven sent. My prayers were answered for relieving my debt. They were instrumental in accomplishing my financial well being, something that I wasn't able to coordinate with my debtor's on my own. I have peace of mind and will be debt free sooner than I had conceived on my own. NDR was my choice after careful consideration. My only regret was that I didn't start with them sooner.

After reading reviews I thought this was the route for me. I was in this program around a year and a half. They convince you that most companies will settle your debt for 50% or less and they charge you 20%. That definitely wasn't the case. I enrolled 7 credit cards with NDR. First you have to stop paying on them. So this ruins your credit. In this time 2 of the 7 cards got settled. A 3rd was set up on a payment plan for more then I owed plus the fees to NDR. Once Covid hit the government took my job. NDR said I could miss 2 payments and it would be fine. Unfortunately the card we had settled then canceled the settlement and decided to take me to court. I called to cancel NDR and they said they convinced me to stay on another month while they tried to settle it. They really just wanted the extra months money that they took as fees for settling the account that canceled the settlement. I ended up canceling and the lawyer I had through them got them to pay me back. Thank goodness! I settled the other debts myself and negotiated better deals on my own. Also not only do you pay them but you will also be paying taxes on the money you saved on your settlement. Unless you like throwing your money away I recommend running from this company.

These people have to be the rudest people I have ever tried to communicate with. The guy I talked with was very condescending in his tones with me. I do not recommend even contacting them unless you want to be made to feel like you are less of a person because you had some finincial issues.

I've had multiple issues with this company recently, and their customer service has definitely declined since I enrolled in March 2018. First of all, I opened a service request with National Debt Relief on 08/04/2019 and requested that they skip my two deposits scheduled for August 2019 because of income loss caused by a recent illness. The service request remained open for over a week, and I was charged a $25.00 NSF fee by my credit union because National Debt Relief attempted to withdraw my August 12th deposit after I specifically asked them not to. They only corrected their mistake after I opened another service request. Second, NDR recently contacted me with a settlement offer for one of my creditors and requested that I respond "as soon as possible". They gave me NO indication that I need to accept the settlement offer within 48 hours in order to avoid losing the settlement; they just said to respond "as soon as possible". For me that might be 3-4 days from the date I receive an email, because I work nights and often don't have time to check my email before I leave for work. If NDR only gives you 48 hours to accept or reject a settlement, they need to specifically mention it when they contact me with an offer! Overall I've been satisfied with their customer service until recently, but it's going downhill fast. I suggest they get to work on improving it if they want to retain me as a client.

National Debt Relief actually helped me and they kept true to their promise that they would have me out of debt in 12-24 months. I signed up with them in February 2015 and I'll be done with the program this month. My credit score has improved significantly. Every representative I've ever dealt with there was always nice and helpful.

Some people told don't sign up with them because they charge you to do what you can do yourself. Yes, while you can try to negotiate a settlement with your creditors on your own, the offer may still not be as good as if National Debt was advocating for you. They took care of everything and reassured me if I stuck with it, I would be glad I did.

I'm so thankful I saw their commercial because they rarely show them on TV so I would've never heard about it otherwise.

EDIT (10/27/17) I see there is a review claiming NDR asks people to write reviews. I enrolled with them last March and not once did they ever ask me to write a review for them. They have an A+ rating with the Better Business Bureau for a reason. The program isn't for everyone BUT if you are in a position where you have $10,000 or more in debt, they can and will help you!

As of right now, I am very pleased with the service provided. For the most part the staff is very knowledgeable. Some of the questions I asked in reference to credit score were not answered with 100% certainty, but I have high hopes at this point for my future thanks to NDR.

Overall I must say that I am incredibly grateful for National Debt Relief. They are helping get my financial situation back on track and the process has been relatively simple. I feel like they work hard to help their clients.

Stay far away from this company. The money they take in fees is more than they put towards your credit and once you are done paying your debt off, it's about the exact amount you owed or more! They are not saving you any money at all, they are lining their pockets while you go in more debt. They need to have negative stars.

Debt is being resolved while your interests are accumulating !! And FEES not explained to you for paying off the debt are sometimes just as much as what you owe !!! As I'm barely living with paying the bi-weekly payment to get out of debt , they offered (and i UNFORTUNATELY accepted ) thru Liberty Lending (Which is located in SAME office building , how convenient) a Loan to rush payments for my debt and at same time build my credit . Sounds Great right ?? (YEAH RIGHT!) Again , After just letting process happen ,(who has time to call and follow up everyday?) your'e paying just as much as paying off your debts on your own to begin with !! But now this company is PROFITING off of my debt!!!

Zero stars if I could. They tricked me into thinking this program would help me in the long run and I fell for it. I was told I'd only pay for the settlement amounts from each creditor. However, they did not tell you the negotiation fees would sometimes cost you, $4500 for just one settlement, another $1500 for another and $1200 for another. I paid an extra $5000 to try to get rid of the debt sooner because of a predicament where I trusted business partners that ended up booting me out of the company. Well, you're better off settling it with debt collectors. You won't be paying thousands of dollars in fees where it adds up close to the original amount.

They have great customer service and more then half of my creditors has been resolve within less then a year! I was sceptical at first but they did give me the option of if it doesn't work for me I can always cancel and I'm so glad I took the chance cause with in another year or less I will be debt free! And on a note they always update you and also options to move things faster. Thank you so much nationaldebtrelief for making my life again enjoyable:)

I am so thankful that this company is helping me settle my debts! I was so stressed and worried about my financial situation until I called this number. I had no idea what to do and where to turn. They handled all my collectors and arranged payments with my own money I put aside for this! Keep up the good work national debt relief! I am grateful for this company managing my debt

Truly a great company that cares about its employees just as much as their clients. NDR is one of the most reputable debt settlement organizations that actually knows what its doing. Don't waste your time with other companies that sell you on a lie, trust in National Debt Relief!!!

When you first call national debt relief DO NOT fa...

When you first call national debt relief DO NOT fall for they're tricks. They will tell you all of your fees are included in your payments. NOT TRUE! for every debt they settle they will take 23% of the total debt for themselves. They fail to tell you that in our first call. They also will not talk to your credit collector(s). I had my collectors non stop calling me angrily and when I finally called NDR they told me me they will call when it is appropriate for them to call. NOT OK they lie and tell you in the beginning not to answer your collectors and that they will handle it. Don't mind the fact that your credit will plummet while you are in this program and they will not do anything about it. They tell you not to worry about that. They are very nice on the phone, until you try to cancel. Then they will threaten you about not being able to take care of your debt on your own. Bottom line if you want to save money they aren't the way to do it. They sell you a dream. Pay your debts on your own and save money that they fail to tell you they will be taking. They also tell you you can not negotiate with your collectors on your own. NOT TRUE. After I left NDR even with them trying to scare me into staying I negotiated and paid off my debts in 2 months when they said it would take me 3 years if angry collectors callin and credit score plummeting. Moral of the story: save your time, money and credit score and do not use this program. Me taking out the time to write this and warn you shuld be enough to deter you

I came in to debt within the past 2 years adding up to $23,000!!! I need a way to get out of debt so I series some help from experts. After being a client for about 3 months a collection resolution came through for me. National Debt Relief had reduced a repossession of mine from $18,000 to only $5,500. That is more than 2/3 reduced. I'm glad I didn't back down from getting help.

I have had a very good experience with National Debt Relief. I have been a client since 2015. I have had a great communication with every team member I have encountered. The team member's have been courteous and informative. I received regular updates about my accounts and I have been able to go on to the National Debt Relief Client Portal to verify information given to me by a team member or if I just my account for myself I can do so. I have had an overall good experience with everyone I have come in contact with at National Debt Relief. They real care about their clients. I want to thank them for their support. I was shocked recently, my sister who was 54, young and vivacious was diagnosed with cancer in September 2018. She passed away last month on May 2, 2019. The team member's at National Debt Relief were very supportive and helpful during this difficult time. I was surprised when I received a a condolence card in the mail and it was signed by different team members. I want the National Debt Relief staff to know how much I appreciated that support.

Update on 03/10/20: NDR has come to an agreement with three of my creditors and I am so grateful. It is really hard waiting during the negotiation process, but it is well worth it!
Everything has gone smoothly so far! I enjoy being able to access the client portal and seeing the progress.

Had creditors calling months after enrolling and following company's wishes and switching everything over to their contact information. Creditors would state that they had never heard from NDR informing them that NDR will be taking over the accounts on my behalf. When contacting NDR about this they get aggressive and angry saying that you should never talk to the creditors only inform NDR of them calling.

I've been with them since July and they have settlements with 6 of my accounts so far. I appreciate all they do helping me and others. Customer Services phone calls are always quick and easy. I'm glad I signed up with them and finally asking for help. Thank you NDR!

This company is a wonderful company to work with, I am an incredibly busy individual who has gone through financial changes while being on the program. National Debt Relief allowed me to be able not to stress out from credit card companies calling me constantly and pay off my credit cards on what I could afford to pay per month. I highly recommend this company!

Working with National Debt Relief has been a relief . . . having them in our corner. I wish we had asked more questions in the beginning, though. We didn't realize that we had to be delinquent for four months before negotiations would start. We also didn't realize that a percentage of the amount due needed to be in the equity account before they could negotiate. So, on a larger debt, we needed to take a loan from our parents to have the money on hand to start the negotiations.
Those surprises aside, the negotiators and customer reps have been wonderfully patient and professional. And, when one of our creditors served us with a summons, the lawyer we were assigned answered all our questions and handled everything for us . . . definitely get the legal backup option . . . well worth the fee!

National Debt Relief is a life saver. I gave them all my debt information and they are successfully negotiating settlements and paying my debt. It has taken the stress of the debt from my shoulders. I couldn't be happier.

This really works if you are willing to work with them. Follow the book. Do what they say. Your credit WILL TANK but if you are as in debt or worse off than I was, then likely credit sucks already. Most of the customer reps are nice and helpful and they will work with you to a point.

I've had a terrible experience so far! They claim they are all about customer service and that's not what I received. I moved shortly after joining their services and had to change banks. They refused to take my information when I called the day I switched bank accounts. The reason being, you have to call in some sort of short time window to change it. They don't tell you when this is, and when they call you it's not even during that time! It was a nightmare as I was a good client and paid no problem until this happened. So their story is, if you don't call during this weird few day window, they don't take your new information and then put it in during the right time, like you would think makes actual sense like any other business. It took FOUR months for them to finally get my information as they would only call during work and by the time I called back, it wasn't in their "window of time". Now they are penalizing me for their mistakes. When I called about this their representatives treated me like crap and did not do anything but blame me, argue with me, and not even attempt to rectify their OWN mistakes through their blatantly obvious stupid policy of refusing information if it's not the exact "right day". Even though I tried calling right after changing accounts and sent emails to change it, they still blamed me, argued with me, and scolded me like a child. It is by far the most ludicrous thing I've ever experienced. Customer service my ass. Thanks for all your "help".
