To any business thinking of working with Metro Sales. Read all the one star reviews. Our company is having the same troubles buying out our contract. We have 18 months left to pay on a 60 month lease and MS is telling us they can't help us. I have to negotiate with their 3rd party lease finance company. That company after 3 months of haggling still has only presented me in writing with an option to pay them the full lease and then purchase the copier. We don't want the copier. We want a reasonable buyout and for them to come and pick the copier up and take it away. That appears to be too much to ask. Buy a copier if you need it long term or get the shortest possible lease. I would not recommend doing business with Metro Sales. They position themselves as small business friendly, but they are not. This has been the worst customer service situation I've ever dealt with from a b-2-b company.
They are always on top of the problem and come as soon as possible! I've never had to wait more than 24 hours to have my printers serviced and all of the techs are super nice and professional!! I don't remember all of their names but I know Slade is a phenomenal tech!!! I 10/10 would recommed Metro Sales to every business!!!!!

I always get the best service from METRO SALES! They are incredibly prompt and always reliable! But, sometimes they remind me of "old lonely" the guy who services MAYTAG washers, who is lonely because MAYTAGS rarely break down! I seldom have to place a service call as my copier from METRO is top quality -- but, when I do place a call, the response is almost immediate!

I've had the privilege of being a Metro Sales customer for over 15 years and have always had great experiences with their staff. The sales team is excellent. Never pushy or trying to sell more than what the customer needs. Service team, I rarely need to schedule service, but when I do they're thorough, professional and knowledgeable. All around a great company!

I reported a change in the display of our computer. The service rep. was here in 10 minutes. He showed us how it can be changed. He put it back to the way we prefer and he locked it down that way. He was fast, efficient and polite.
Great, fast service and pleasant service technicians. Everyone we work with is a "real person" --not just a signature line. It's refreshing to work with them.
I've heard of feeling business people frustrated with their copper service. I emailed Metro Sales on a Tuesday afternoon with the first issue I had in a year with my copier. Got a call back within an hour and service the next morning. Incredible.
Metro Sales did an excellent job at responding right away to our request for assistance. I was very pleased with the quick service. Our technician was Todd and he was so friendly and knowledgeable. He was able to get copier running as usual within a very short time.

We have been working with Metro Sales for longer then i have been here (over 10 years). We have had quite a few sales people during this time, but we really haven't had an issue with that. They train their sales people and techs very well. I can't recall a time when a machine was down for longer then 24 hours (and that was a worst case scenario). I would say on average it is withing 12 hours.
Quick story - Just this week our sales person wrote me an email saying that we are going over on our estimated print counts and would it be okay for him to raise the count up. By doing that we have a more standard payment each quarter (not crazy fluctuations) and we are saving a bit overall (the amount he raised it was less then the amount for our overages).
Technician (same one going back at least 10 years) has consistently provided us top notch quality service and is always pleasant and helpful. When he leaves - the equipment works perfectly again and cleans up after himself everytime. I highly recommend them

I needed a part for the plotter that needed a service call, the manager stated he didn't have the part but was able to get it from the regional office in the Cities. I am a 72 year old office manager in a very high tech church office. My IT knowledge is scant at best. I rely heavily on our Ricoh office machine to perform a wide variety of printing responsibilities. The Ricoh tech support team are my lifeline for many tasks that I need simple guidance and clarity. Their patience and respect for working with me has been immeasurable. They respond quickly, professionally and always stay with me to make sure everthing I need is completed. Kudos to Doug Wachal for his assistance today. He walked me through step by step until the issue was resolved.....waiting for me to do a successful run through!

I was at your store 5711 South Florida Ave Lakeland Fl 33813 to upgrade one of our phones. We were very satisfied with the young lady that waited on us. Her name as Beth. She was very helpful.
Scott Ulrich came and tried to fix our Priport machine (ID 43325). The Master Eject Indicator light kept coming on, even when nothing was it the master eject box. Every time I use it, I had to open the eject box and then close it. Scott fixed the problem. It was working great with no problems. Scott explained everything to me about what was causing the problem. I appreciated the effort Scott and Doug did to get my machine working great again. Thank you
Our office cop/fax/scan machine had a sudden breakdown in the mid-afternoon of a busy workday. I was worried that our much-used machine would be inoperable for a couple of days, which would be a major problem ... but called Metro Sales for service. The service technician came that very afternoon and had our machine up and running in no time!! What a life-saver! Definitely a five-star day for Metro Sales!!

Recently we had issues with our copier needed an increased number of service calls. Whenever we had an issue your technicians were quick to respond to resolve all issues. The techs are prompt, friendly, thorough and knowledgeable. Eventually, we decided that we wanted a new copier so that we would not have to keep making service calls for the same issue. The sales representative came to our office, assessed our issue and immediately found another copier that was newer, with more advanced capabilities and better suited for our needs. Metro Sales Inc is wonderful and I really enjoy working with this company. Keep of the great work.

The service technicians are great, they'll not only fix what the service call was placed for , but will go that extra step to make sure any other issues are taken care of before they leave. I've never had any issues with our invoices, If I did it was very minor and was taken care of with one phone call. Metro Sales does a great job in taking care of it customers.
I couldn't give higher marks! I had a bit of a complicated matter, given our copy machine needed to be repaired while we weren't open in order to be ready upon opening the following day. I had to make the report over the weekend and found the call-taker to be pleasant, easily understood and not in a hurry so he listened to my entire explanation and then followed up with intelligent questions that proved he had indeed been listening to me. The repairman had to work with a 3rd party to gain entrance and do repairs while we weren't open, and he followed instructions perfectly -- I didn't even have to field an "emergency" call to re-explain or intervene. I really appreciate people who listen and get it right the first time. Everything was in perfect order and ready to go when we opened on Tuesday morning. Great job; I highly recommend Metro Sales!

Metro Sales is a professional company, but Buyer/Lessee beware. I knowingly signed a contract for 2 years for a machine, but after a site visit 1 hour wireless router reconfiguration was going to be $140+, I asked about an early buy out of my contract (after 1 year in). When I asked about a reasonable early buy out of the contract (they get equipment back, I pay a big chunk of lease not used..but not the total amount for the entire year), I was more or less told that the "industry" does not negotiate. Who would have thought it, but I've seen laundry lease companies be more forgiving. Be VERY, VERY cautious on the term of contract you need. When in doubt, just pay a little more for the shorter contract. Even better, if you are a small business and don't print/scan often, consider buying a machine outright instead. Even if you purchased a second new one as back up, you may be money ahead. As an edit from the initial post--I have been contacted via phone by a higher up at Metro Sales about this Google Review. Surprisingly, I was asked "what's going on with your Google Review." "Are you trying to breach your contract." I was transparent from the start with this post--I am trying to get out of a deal I signed. I understand I agreed to pay. However, the purpose of this post remains the same--to educate other consumers/businesses-be careful what you agree to with Metro Sales. Don't expect any leniency on term if your needs should change.
This place is such a disgrace. I tried to return a leased printer because they said it would cost $400 for them to pick it up. When I got there I was told that they couldn't take it because someone else owned the lease. But they could take it if I paid $400 and they would take care of it. This was such a frustrating encounter that I wouldn't recommend this company to anyone. Where is the 0 star option? Worst Customer Service Ever!!!

I called Metro Sales to fix an issue that our office had been having involving our scanner last Friday, and it turns out that they had been flooded with calls from other people with the same issue. The technician on the line, Joe, was incredibly helpful and patient the entire time. He explained the steps in great detail, and was incredibly friendly, even though he mentioned that there was at least 50 calls for the same issue in the past two days. This was by far the most wonderful and helpful customer service experience that I've probably ever had, and Joe definitely is the ideal employee when it comes to a job like this. We called in for a cleaning and a few small programs changes. We got a response within 5 minutes and the technician Nick Pechmann came the next day bright and early. He was fast and knowledgeable, very friendly and professional. He helped us to fix the program on the printer. He also went beyond and helped us to fix a few settings on the computer. Great service!

Metro Sales has HORRIBLE customer service. If you compare pricing to other local small businesses the choice was easy for me to give my business to someone else. The lady I spoke with named Randi was extremely rude while trying to cancel our contract. Instead of being rude how about servicing your customer? Your customer no longer wants your overpriced products and want to cancel their contract its as easy as that. Help them. Do not hold something against them because they want to cancel. Service them and assist them in the process do not treat them like they did something wrong for cancelling.

Darrell was very responsive letting me know approx when he would arrive. He went through our machine very thoroughly and let me know what he replaced and showed me the waste container and made sure we had one but did not need to change at this time. He was very professional. We would gladly have him come back and work on our copier.

Metro Sales has been a nightmare to deal with. I was a customer for 2 years and needed to move offices. Metro moved my computer and asked me to sign a form saying they successfully moved my computer. What that actually had me sign was a new 5 year contract and didn't tell me that is what I was signing. Very deceptive business practices! I called multiple people in the company and all were consistently non-helpful and would not let me out of the contract. I am now at the end of my 5 year contract and the Service group sent me a bill for the upcoming year of service. I asked if we could negotiate the contract price because of the other issues at Metro and was told they wouldn't consider anything less and Tyler was even rude on the phone. If you are looking for copiers, please consider someone besides Metro. Not a good company!

Let me paint a beautiful word picture for you: Our dealership came to a grinding halt this morning when our Ricoh emitted a glowing red beacon of death. We had an error code that sent each of us into a panic. How would we copy? How would we scan? Would we ever see faxes again or would they be lost to technological purgatory? We called Metro Sales to open a service ticket. Cue our savior, Rick Nadeau, who responded immediately to assist. Despite my somewhat delayed processing (it was a rough morning!), Rick was able to walk me through resolving the issue. He was patient, eloquent, and an absolute joy to speak with. As if by magic, or in this case Rick, the issue was fixed and faxes began spewing forth, free at last from their digital prison. Thank you Rick for your help and thank you as always to Metro Sales for keeping us printing!
Had an issue with my scanner due to a Microsoft update. I was unable to get the problem resolved. Had a call with a technician (Todd Peterson) and he was able to remote in to my computer and fix the issue.
