I had a great experience buying my first new-to-me car with Wayne Halaby and Jason Coeuslan at Mayfield Toyota. After test driving cars at a number of dealerships, I test drove my little Prius C and fell in love with the car, got a great deal with no pressure or hassle, and lifetime oil changes. The finance team were extremely efficient and helpful, and everything went swimmingly. Would recommend to anyone. Wayne in particular was genuine and friendly and easy to deal with, which was not always the case.

The best Toyota dealer in Edmonton for their after sale service .
Make sure you are buying your car with a sellers that have several years of experience .
I would say 10 years at that location .
If you don t , you will end up with a car missing items such as cruise control !
Talk about a breach of promises .

Web based appointment booking service actually worked, hooray! Even though they were very busy they took my car in and started working on it. Car was delivered essentially when the service writer and I had agreed.

The mechanic found a squeaky accessory drive belt (I knew about it but had forgotten to mention). Good on Mayfield for not pushing for the expensive install, simply selling me the part so I could do it myself. The part itself was essentially same price as Canadian Tire.

(Typical for all car dealers and not a knock on Mayfield specifically) they up-sold me a brake inspection which was probably needed, but hey, why not discuss that when the appopintment is booked.

Horrible service. Parts department could not tell me specifications on any Toyota factory parts only how much they cost. On a different occasion i order some parts that where on back order and i waited a month and nothing came, so i went to follow up they said they had not ordered anything under my name!

Definitely the best Toyota dealership in Edmonton. When I first went in, I went in with a double mind without any expectation. The customer service was very welcoming and the Product adviser Vendan was nice enough and gave me suggestions to decide my new purchase within my budget. I ended up getting a 2012 Toyota Highlander Limited Edition for reasonable price. Also the sales Manager Karim was kind enough to provide me with good offers. They don t just leave you after they sell the product - you can expect a call from them within next few days asking about your experience with the new vehicle. GREAT CUSTOMER SERVICE with GREAT DEALS what more you can expect.

This is same with the people in the finance office. These guys have lots of patients to explain each and every penny you are paying for. Overall I had a great experience with Mayfield Toyota and I will certainly recommend Mayfield Toyota for my friends who are looking to buy a new or used vehicle.

READ THIS BEFORE USING THEIR MECHANICS

I have no issues with the sales side of Mayfield. They have nice staff and a clean facility. If you read their reviews, that's where a lot of 5 stars come from. Read the 1 star ones.

I dropped off my Matrix for routine maintenance and oil change:

The mechanic reported that both my front and rear brakes were "metal on metal" needing replaced, he also said that I needed brake fluid, and an engine air filter.

I hadn't noticed anything wrong with my brakes, so I declined over the phone. They pressed me, saying the mechanic recommended that my car didn't leave the facility without this work being done.

When I picked up my car I noticed instantly that there was a very loud grinding sound eveytime I braked. This sound was NOT there when I dropped off my vehicle. My husband had also driven my car two days prior, and said he had noticed nothing irregular about my brakes.

I went to another mechanic, who is a family member:

My front brakes were NOT "metal on metal" as reported, they had roughly 20% of the pad left. The rear brakes were in horrible condition and the rotor was also damaged as well. I did NOT need brake fluid. I did NOT need an engine air filter replacement for another few months.

Did someone see the stroller in the car and decide I was an easy target?

For you to decide:

Front brakes generally go before rear ones when they are the same age. If my front ones were still at 20%, it's highly suspicious that my rear ones would be naturally in such poor condition. The sound of those brakes were deafening on my drive home. That sound was NOT there when I dropped the car off. The mechanic was misleading about several things, how unethical was the behaviour in total?

I replaced both front and rear brakes, and the rotor at my mechanics advice. Because I didn't want to have to go back within 4 months, I just had him replace the engine air filter anyway.

*What I would have paid at Mayfield: 1330$
*What I paid at my mechanic before any family discounts: 500$

These are tough times. People become desperate. Do your research and stay safe.

Bought a Toyota Corolla 2017 from the dealership. Workmanship from this dealership is terrible. It took me 3 visits to get my roof racks properly installed. Then found out the trunk was leaking water. They replaced the weather stripping but forgot to attach the spring or the tention bar back. Trunk fell on my head and those things are very heavy. Also misallighned the trunk. Took it in again. Took them a week to order the part in which is fine but again trunk is misallighned. Hopefully next visit can be the charm for this dealership to get this small issue fixed. I Give them 5 stars in sales. 5 star in customer service. But the workmanship is terrible. Talked to Chris service manager and asked him to mention to his mechanics about this issue and the response was I have 200 vehicles going in and out a day I can't talk to my mechanics. If the dealership can't handle the 200 vehicle a day service with good workmanship then I guess they should slow the business down. Would not recommend getting your vehicle repaired here unless warranty covers it.

A week ago i went to Mayfield Toyota to look at there pre-owned selection as i has seen a car on Kijiji that i was interested in. Nissan JUKE 2015. I was not going to purchase this suv on this day just start my journey on looking. We were greeted by a young salesman (Kier) with a quiet demeanor which was nice to not be pushed. We took the JUKE for a drive and i really like it but still wanted to ensure this was the car i wanted. The sales manager was introduce to us as i wanted an ideal of what they would give me on my KIA as a trade in. Again, Scott was not like the stereo typical sales person. He was friendly, easy going and not abrasive and even made you feel like he was on your side. Okay still going to check around but on to financing to ensure approval if we want this suv but NO worries i don't have to decide today I can let them know Monday or later. Amanda, the business Manager was full of life and energy and on top of all the different banks to ensure the best interest rate. Again no pressure. Then she said something about me taking this JUKE home with me today. I was YES. Not a sucker but i felt cared for, i felt like i had been give a very fair deal and i was not ever pressured. My decision as my friend would call it "HELL YES". Now a week later thinking back on the day, these people were extremely professional, none manipulative and cared for me. What up with that :) Then my salesman Kier even brought me my Juke back to me after i had it cleaned and undercoated. I had mentioned about buying a car on the opposite side of the city i lived on. I had expected to have to drive him back to the deanship but he even had his own ride arranged. This was an extremely smooth and enjoyable experience which i never expected. I love my JUKE and would highly recommend the Mayfield team but call ahead and make sure Kier is working that day.

We stopped there with our family late at night because we were heading back to Saskatoon and our trucks headlights were not working. Two men came out to help right away, they were extremely helpful and kind. We were asked if we wanted coffees the kids were given a play area while we waited. The truck was pulled into their shop right away and they did all they could to help us out since they knew we were going to be travelling on the highway. If this is the kind of service you are looking for when you are purchasing a vehicle I would highly recommend this location based on our experience.

Stereotypical sleazy dealership. A friend's newly purchased vehicle was in for a warranty issue and they scraped the tires, rock chipped the hood, and ruined the alignment which was verified at a different dealer. All was denied by Mayfield when an explanation was requested. After filing with the BBB, Mayfield Toyota threatened him with a lawsuit. A dealer threatened a student with a lawsuit in order to keep him quiet. Shows how these guys operate and the morals of the company. We bought a 2013 RAV4 brand new from them 6 years ago, they were good then, but since my friend's experience, they've lost my business as well.

Busy place. They would not book a routine maintenance appointment without VIN (?). "No VIN - no appointment". Used to be a friendly place but not any longer. It is true they are busy and therefore can afford upsetting new customers. I ended up going to a different Toyota dealership where a great service was provided. That would be my suggestion to potential new customers.

He was very knowledgeable, professional and was able to answer all of my questions and I never felt pressured to purchase at any time. Vendan Sekar did the walk around and took the time to explain all the features my vehicle has.
The entire time I was at the dealership I didn t feel pressured and it was a very positive experience.

So much to say about Mayfield Toyota. I can go on about the great vehicles, excellent prices and wonderful staff. I can talk about the magnificent service department, who on more than one occasion has bailed me out and had me back on the road making money in my work truck, which I bought from them and has over 200,000 kilometers and is still going strong. But what really separates Mayfield Toyota from any other car dealership is the excellent service provided by Chris Button. I've bought 3 vehicles from Chris and to this day he checks in on me to make sure everything is working fine. If I ever have a question about my vehicle or need a part or anything else I can always count on Chris for whatever I need. In short, he treats his customers as people and goes above and beyond to make them feel special. I will always recommended Chris to anyone in the market for a new vehicle, including friends, family and even customers from my business.

I bought my car from Mayfield about a month ago now. I was told the front grill would be changed for free, as there was paint missing on it. And they did change it, but I unfortunately had to drop my car off 3 times before it actually got done. It was very upsetting. An other reason why I m only giving 2 stars, is that one of the shuttle drivers was very rude, I am not gonna name her on here but she drove really close to other cars, honked when unnecessary... Although I had bad luck with these 2 situations, I was very happy with the great customer service I got from the service team, Aimee, who was constantly updating me on what was happening by email, and Mike, who helped me choose a car that met my expectations, while respecting my budget. I also had a great experience with David, the shuttle driver that helped me the first time I dropped my car off. He was very friendly and drove very carefully, as shuttle drivers should.

I just purchased a brand new 2014 Corolla Sport and I love it! I had payed a visit to nearly every dealership in Edmonton before making a stop a Mayfield Toyota. After a less than pleasant experience from the dealership which I had purchased my last car I was very nervous about spending my money and declared I would not be making any hasty decisions. From the moment I walked through the door Andrew Dye made sure I was well taken care, he was very helpful and patient with all my questions and indecision. I love my corolla and will certainly be back in a few years when it's time for something different!

Of the whole time I have purchased a vehicle for myself, family or friends in the past, I never thought it would be this hassle free as my experience has been with Toyota Mayfield. I am not sure if they are all consistent but Jason Deng was amazing. It was stress free and almost everything was completed online. This dealer is the best dealer I have ever dealt with and Jason is the reason why I am giving 5 stars to this dealership. I will definitely recommend them to people I know that would be looking to purchase a vehicle.

I was so impressed with Mayfield Toyota that I now own 3 Corolla and a Rav 4. Unfortunately, the quality of customer service is deteriorating day by day. There's not enough staff to meet the demand at most times. It took me 2 days to book an appointment. After a long wait on the line on day 1, I was prompted to leave a message and that someone will return my call. No one did. Day 2, I called again and was put on hold for 20 minutes, twice. Finally on my 3rd attempted I got lucky. One Saturday, I took my vehicle in for 10 am appointment but was not helped till 30 minutes after. I was told some customers show up without an appointment and they can't refuse. So what's the sense of booking an appointment? Last Saturday to collect my vehicle after service, I was standing alone in the pick up counter line for almost 10 minutes before someone showed up to help me. I'm sure that I am not the only one receiving this kind of service.

The service advisor was fabulous! She noticed an outstanding recall for step 2 of the windshield washer issue. Since they had 3 extra parts available for the recall, she suggested having that taken care of at the same time as my oil change and maintenance. She also provided a service loaner so I could do my errands while my vehicle was unavailable.

This was my first experience purchasing a vehicle at a dealership and after shopping at many dealerships in several cities for almost two years, I can honestly say that Mayfield Toyota is the best. The staff over- exceeded my expectations. The salesman I had the pleasure of working with was Andy Lam - he was a genuine man that wasn't pushy or pressuring but was full of information and guidance. He was very honest about the vehicle and gave me all the information I needed to make the right choice for me. When I came to test drive the truck they had it perfectly cleaned and ready to drive off the lot that day, which was wonderful. The financing team was fantastic as well - everyone was genuine and respectful. One other really great thing was that I had a battery issue with the truck the day after I purchased it, and Mayfield did everything they could to help me out, including paying for a new battery. I always thought buying a vehicle at a dealership would be a nightmare but it felt like working with family to find the best truck for me, and I feel I paid a very fair price as well. I would highly recommend letting Mayfield earn your business!

Most important was a competitive price and a painless purchase experience. Andy and Mayfield Toyota came through on both counts. Dropped my Toyota Sienna for about $1000 worth of maintenance the night before the maintenance was due. Called four hours after appointment time to find out they hadn't checked the night drop box and hadn't bothered to call for missed appointment. Dealership was unable to complete maintenance after their error offered a nothing no sincerity apologie and to reschedule the maintenance for two days later. Pathetic poor service. Take your vehicle to Canadian Tire or the corner variety store you'll get better service.

I could go on and on about the positive and professional experience we had due to the amazing salesman - Danny Paulino!! He looked for the "right" car for us for about three months and kept in contact with us regularly until he found "the one" for us. I recently purchased a used Tundra from these guys...

I recently purchased a used Tundra from these guys. I started the process online from a 3rd party website and all of my dealings were through email until just after we started negotiating numbers. We did a trade-in of our existing truck and the process was seamless from the evaluation (over pictures as we live over 2 hours away) to driving the new truck away. We showed up to our appointment with Andy Lam and nothing changed from our expectations. Andy was great to deal with. During our test drive we discovered a button that wasn't working so they put it in the shop right away to get it fixed. All in all it took about 4 hours from the moment I walked into the dealer, to getting the truck fixed and when we drove our new Tundra off the lot. The staff were great to deal with, I felt looked after in every way with 0 concerns. I was already happy with the service prior to showing up in person, and my experience only got better once I got there. We had negotiated our price before I arrived, nothing changed and no surprises with the trade-in. These guys are great to deal with and I would be happy to deal with them again in the future even though there are dozens of Toyota dealers closer to me. Thanks again Andy!

Good service but too busy all the time!

Update from 4 to 1 star, as of July 2018:

As I mentioned before, they are so busy that they don t care if you have some bigger concern about your car. They are just gonna tell you what to replace and how much you have to pay.
They don t take a minute to try to explain what is the cause of the problem or to understand you concerne.
And their mechanic foreman Dave... oh.. such a unpatient person. If there would be a mechanic that you could say he is really nice, he took a minute to explaine the issue and try to inderstand the problem..HE IS NOT THAT GUY!!!
And again, this place is sooo busy and because it all comes down to get your money and kick you out.
That is my impression as a customer!

My 5-Star rating to Andy Lam at Mayfield Toyota. Andy helped me for my second new vehicle bought at Mayfield Toyota. He is honest, professional and very helpful.
Andy started our conversation online in the beginning and answered all my questions right away. Right after our online conversation, Andy sent me a link he made so that I can view a video for a similar model s all functions and features, as well as the color I asked for! Because the specific color I asked for, I need to wait for about a month to get it ordered in. A month without a car to drive (My car was driven away by my family member for a summer job), you can imagine how inconvenient it is: shopping, going to work, doctor s appointment, etc. But Andy managed to have two loaner cars for me, one I drove 4 days and switched to another because the first loaner car needed to be in shop for a buyer s road test. I had a car to drive for about 3 weeks, and even didn t have to worry about the insurance! Just fill the gas and drive! Where you can have a service like that? Andy at Mayfield Toyota!
I road tested the new car to Spruce Grove. Happy with the test, happy with color, happy with all the functions, and wondering about the functions I didn t know. But Andy prepared that for me already, he explained to me after my road test. He answered my wondering questions and instructed me right away how the functions work. And even put marks in the operator s manual for important things I may be looking for. He even booked my first shop service date!
Honest, professional, very helpful and excellent service, those are my impression from Andy. If you ever think about buying a Toyota car, please see Andy Lam at Mayfield Toyota and say Eugene recommended you. You won't be disappointed. I guarantee that with my experience.

It is unfortunate that Mayfield Toyota advertises used cars for sale on their web site that they don't even have for sale. This is such a common and deceitful occurrence in dealerships now that it makes me wonder how they even get business at all. I don't know who they think they're fooling when they say "That car was JUST sold"!!! Twice this happened to me at two separate Toyota dealerships. I would never buy ANYTHING from a dealer who engages in Deceitful practices. They get one star for working so hard on destroying their reputation.

I must say I am very disappointed with the service...

I must say I am very disappointed with the service that I got at Mayfield Toyota. Not only did I feel mislead by the sales person and I felt as though my time was wasted but the Sales Manager promised to give me a call after he spoke to his manager but they never did bother to call me back. Had they called me back and attempted to make things right for me they would have had a sale but now I will choose to take my business to a different Toyota dealership or perhaps even switch to something other than Toyota which I never thought I'd ever do. I felt as though I put everything on the table as to what I was looking for and what my budget was and I felt like I was totally mislead and that they didn't listen to me at all. The Sales person told me in the parking lot that they'd give me what I owed on my Toyota to do a trade but then when we went inside to discuss numbers he couldn't follow through. He told me the price of the car that I test drove was a different price than what it actually was. And then he wasn't clear with the negotiating with the paper work. Let's also keep in mind that Toyota called ME and wanted me to upgrade my car. I didn't want to waste my time or theirs and I was very clear on that. It was a HUGE waste of my time and a huge disappointment in the end. I won't even continue to go there for my oil changes. I can't believe the sales manager made a commitment to me that he would call me and then I just never ever heard from him again. Not what I call customer service and they definitely lost my business for good.

This is the first time that I have worked with a car dealership and felt like I was truly welcome and not just there to make a sale. I worked with Andy Lam and he went beyond any service person that I have previously worked with - every little point, button and corner were covered to make sure I was comfortable with the experience. Once we had decided on the Rav4, I then worked with Shawn Diakur and John Hamdan, both sales managers, to complete the deal. Each and every step was profession and they put customer service first. I would not hesitate to contact Andy Lam and the team when looking for your next Toyota.

I was in need of trading in my BMW for a Lexus and contacted Samantha in the used car department. She fought very hard with the bank to get me a great approval and landed me in the right unit despite how hard it took her to get this done. I am very happy with my 2015 Lexus NX 200T and more over happy that this vehicle is got all of the features and technology I ve always wanted in a vehicle. I m very happy with Samantha s service and persistence in getting me everything I ve ever ask for. Please explain to me where on the work order is the quote or anything stated about the need for a clutch replacement.

There was no miss communications. Just bad service from all representing Mayfield toyota.

"Sometimes it's not just about the money." I just wanted to share an awesome experience that I had dealing with JC and JR from Toyota Mayfield here in Edmonton, AB. I was in the hunt for my first Tacoma here in Canada and have gone through a lot of great and not-so great discussions from the different dealerships across AB. Admittedly, JC/JR/Mayfield was the first dealership I went to because of my location. However, there was no follow-up from them and I truly was a bit disappointed and wanted to write them off already. After a week of research, I went back to Mayfield Toyota to give them a second chance. JC was very apologetic, respectful and sincere with our discussion. He was very honest with his mistakes and expressed willingness to make amends - which you truly admire not only from a sales associate but in a person. All things considered, I went with Mayfield Toyota not because of the price of the deal but because of the honesty and integrity of the people I spoke with. I am still waiting for my Tacoma as it is a pre-order, and I will do an update of my review. However, I trust JC/JR/Mayfield Toyota will come through with our deal. If you are in the lookout for a Toyota, I definitely recommend JC/JR and Toyota Mayfield to be one of your top choices for consideration. - This is an authentic experience from an authentic customer

We have been buying and servicing our vehicles at Mayfield Toyota for over 10 years and are very impressed with the excellent service that is provided by the customer service reps, receptionists, mechanics, the sales people and the shuttle drivers. Sorry if we missed anyone! Somehow the fabulous service we receive here takes the bite out of some expensive repairs, which are to be expected when one owns a vehicle. We have never felt "ripped off" and feel that staff is upfront and truthful about our vehicles. Mayfield Toyota will continue to benefit from our customer loyalty and we will benefit from Mayfield's top customer service!

Update: Bought my vehicle in July. Was told 5000 aeroplan points will be updated to my account. Points have not been updated yet. Contacted the dealership 4 times via email and many times over phone. Answer I got "we entered your number in late so toyota declined it" the dealership did not have the courtesy to even let me know. Just randomly checked and found out. They are prompt and fast in selling the car initially but after buying experience is unprofessional and poor.

Great buying experience! They stayed late to help me work with my shift work. Sales team was great and Sukh and the sales manager went above and beyond. Ordered roof racks and the fitting wasnt right. The were not only able to accomadate my planned trip by offering me a rental vehicle of my choice to accomodate my needs and fix the problem they offered a free detail coupon for the error. Service manager James kept me up to date with pictures on the vehicle and patiently dealt with my frustration. Thank you Mayfield toyota staff for all your help and keep up the great customer service.

He provided me with the carfax and inspection report and a video of the car. I recently purchased a Toyota rav 4 limited edition, and my experience at mayfield toyota was amazing! All the staff was polite, respectful, helpful and very knowledgeable.

I recommend asking for Andrew Dye when you are looking for a car. I started online searching for a new car and Andrew was the first to get back to me. He is easy to work with, knowledgeable and helpful. He listen to you and goes above and beyond to assist you. He responds quickly to calls and texts. He doesn't pressure you into buying anything and ensure all you questions are answered so you can make the best informed decision. He even went through all the features a fe times to ensute i knrw how it worked. After shopping and looking at other dealership Andrew was also able to give an amazing deal.

Joan Lee in fiancing was also very helpful, professional, and polite. She explained and made it easy to understand all the information.

No one was interested in helping me in the used car lot. I just got my payout, needed a new car, and was ready to buy. I saw the car I wanted online, so I came in to buy it. I stood in the lobby for a while, seemingly invisible, until someone asked if I had been helped. When I said "no", he replied that someone would help me soon. So I kept waiting.

Finally a salesman helped me only to tell me that the car I wanted was sold, even though it was still listed on the website. I asked if he'd call me if they got another one in, and he replied that they get them in all the time. I ended up buying the car I wanted through a private sale the next day.

I thought car salesmen worked on commission, but none of these guys tried to help me buy a car one bit.

I contacted Danny Paulino about potentially purchasing a truck and he did a phenomenal job for me. It took me about 2 and a half months to finally make my purchase and he did not pressure me at all throughout the entire process. He was very knowledgeable and was always available to answer any of my questions. I went all the way from BC to purchase my truck at Mayfield Toyota because of Danny and his ability to go above and beyond what I had expected. Danny is a beauty. I would recommend him to anyone looking to purchase a new or used vehicle. The whole team at Mayfield was actually great, including the finance department. Great experience!

I really enjoyed using this company for my service...

I really enjoyed using this company for my services...up until the past 2 years. Now they seem to leech you for all they can. You bring it in for service and they find nothing wrong...then a couple of months later you have troubles. So you bring it in and you are charged AGAIN. They used to have service people who would gladly help you. Now they just want to take your money and make excuses when they can't solve a problem.

They have the maximum various Toyota, Camry , Corolla, Avalon RAV4,and much more like many types of Highlander 4 runners,and FJ Cruiser...I bought a car from here and very happy with the service . The delivery was quick , loan processing was super quick and service was excellent.
