We took our Volvo in last week for a much needed detailing. It had not been done once in 3 years, and with 2 kids, it was a disaster. The staff were prompt, professional and very easy to deal with. They made the decision on which package suited us best an easy one and we did not feel pressured or 'up-sold' in any way. The team at South Pointe Toyota did an impeccable job. Our car was shining inside & out and seemed restored back to it's original condition. We are so impressed with the high level of work that was done, the efficiency of the work and the staff we dealt with. We have already told several people that they need to experience it for themselves and have received several compliments from friends and family. It is amazing what a good detailing can do and is definitely worth it. We will without a doubt be coming back in the future.

I called South Pointe Toyota, asked for sales and got Justin on the phone. I told him I was interested on some of their RAV4 Hybrids and asked him if I can see the dealers invoice price before I decide and do the purchase.

He said YES no problem.

I gave him the stock numbers of some cars as listed on dealer s web-page and he said he cannot give me the invoice prices over the phone, but he will do it at the dealership.
When I went to the dealership, Justin tells me that he cannot show me the invoice price but . and on he goes with the usual sales tactics.

Being lied straight to my face, is not acceptable! I am faithful Toyota customer but will be working with a dealership that promotes a higher level of honesty and integrity than South Pointe Toyota.

BUYER BEWARE! DO NOT DO BUSINESS WITH THIS DEALERSHIP, UNLESS YOU HAVE A LAWYER PRESENT TO ENSURE WHAT THE SALE PEOPLE TELL YOU WILL IN FACT HOLD UP IN THE FUTURE!

This is my story, I bought a brand new Toyota Matrix from this dealership approximately 5 years ago. The vehicle itself is awesome and I have zero complaints, I will always stand by the quality of Toyota vehicles; however I cannot say the same about the integrity of the sales people.

When I was purchasing the vehicle one of the major motivating factors for me to purchase a new one over a used was the warranty off and the free oil changes for life . While the salesperson explained to us in detail that during the warranty period the car must follow the maintenance schedule as set out by Toyota and be serviced by their technicians. We hesitantly agreed as my husband is a mechanic and can easily perform all said maintenance himself, but we followed their rules to a T, and there was no problems on either side. However at no time did the salesperson let us know that this was the condition for the oil change for life offer as well.

Fast forward to April 2018, our warranty was up so my husband started to do maintenance himself but we brought the vehicle in for our free oil change at this time we were informed that actually the fee oil changes for life deal is only valid as long as you do all your maintenance through them, so basically we can no longer receive free oil changes. I was very upset and the girl who was working service waived the fee and stated that she would speak to her manager about this as she has heard of people having issues with this promotion before.

Then we bring the vehicle in for its next oil change this morning, and are told once again we must pay for the oil change, serious lack of communication I thought but no big deal. So I called to speak to the manager on duty who name is Mike. He informed me that it was printed in the contract I signed (this maintenance caveat) and that anything my salesperson told me was hearsay since it was 5 years ago. I felt belittled by this comment as my word as a customer should not be referred to as hearsay in my opinion.

To sum up the story, I feel I was tricked by my salesperson and that this specific dealership has no integrity. I highly suggest doing business anywhere else, or like I said in the beginning bring a lawyer, because nobody who works here has your best interests at heart.

Bought my 2012 Rav4 from their used selection. Within seconds after walking through the door I was welcomed and the salesman Harp was more than happy to provide me with a test drive and responses to any questions I had. They also helped me get my old car in for trade and were easy to deal with. I have since been back to the service shop for regular maintenance three (3) times now. Each time; the department is quick to check my vehicle in and the service duration and costs are exactly what they quote. Overall I am very happy with South Pointe Toyota and will be back to continue with the maintenance and service of my Rav4.

I purchased my RAV 4 Toyota Last year. Beware of deals. There are always strings attached. They forced me to buy one year mandatory insurance which was worthless. They offered me free oil change but forced me have some of the unnecessary maintenance work done on my car. They charge more for every repairs. They never respond to your messages. I highly recommend to avoid this dealer.

Not happy with the dealerships integrity, and seco...

Not happy with the dealerships integrity, and second Toyota dealership with poor service. Went to look at a new vehicle but they had no stock of the one I wanted. Ended up working out a deal over the phone for a demo vehicle with "around 5,000kms" on it. Went and had a quick look at it and ended up purchasing. When I took delivery, the truck had over 7000kms on it and a rock chip in the windshield they claimed to have repaired. I know it doesn't seem like much, but that's nearly 50% more kms. Even my bill of sale stated 6000kms; General Manager of South Pointe stated not their problem. Then took it in for a different rock chip repair elsewhere to find out they never repaired the original chip. To top it off, when purchasing I was sold on a maintenance plan that extended the warranty. I was told this started from date of purchase. Nope, found out after that they registered it with Toyota back dated to they date they put it in service 6+ months before I bought the truck. So I paid for 6months of service and warranty for nothing. All through I tried to be reasonable and gave them the benefit of the doubt. They had zero interest in customer service and care. I would highly recommend staying away...all they care about is the sale and not their customers.

He made me feel at home and comfortable right off the bat, he wasn't pushy and he accommodated my needs with no boundaries. Dennis went above and beyond to find just the right car for me with a deal that was in my budget. As a one vehicle family we did a lot of research over the year pondering what to buy that would give us the best value, longevity and absorb the debt from our truck. Brought my truck in today for an oil change and a ...

Brought my truck in today for an oil change and a tire rotation. I had called yesterday to book and appointment so that I didn't have to wait in line.
Showed up today and the time I had booked and when I asked how long it would take I was told 1 - 1 1/2 hours. Apparently when you book an appointment it's to meet with the service advisor, not to actually service your vehicle- which is why one books an appointment at all instead of just showing up. I was already there so I had them go ahead with the work anyways.

While waiting I decided to mosey about the showroom floor.
They had a tundra there with the EXACT same tires as mine- size and all. The price they had listed for the tires? $2488.
I had my tires replaced at Rim to Rim ( a one off, non Franchise shop ( I highly recommend them by the way...)) in okotoks not six months ago for $1400 and change.

Based on my experience today and the price gouging for the tires I will no longer service my vehicle here.

This is the second Toyota dealership that I no longer trust ( first being stampede Toyota)
My next vehicle purchase will be based on the product, quality and honesty of the service. Unfortunately south pointe will not be on the list for that search.

They had a used 2017 Rav 4 listed online for $19,000. Low KMs LE. Went to check it out and one salesman said that it wasn't in stock yet, another one said it just sold and tried to take us to see others, and another sales person said that it was a typo and hasn't been delivered to their lot yet.

When I got home I checked online and they had changed the price and put it back in stock.

Sounded more like alot of baiting.

We knew we were looking for a new vehicle but didn't think we would sign and give a deposit on the same day! I recently purchased a vehicle here from Sam Santos, and from the moment I walked into the dealership I was treated with professionalism, and kindness. Every person I dealt with was helpful, informative, and respectful. I've dealt with a few different dealerships and sales people, and have always felt I was being taken advantage of from a sales perspective.
I live in the far north west, and this was 100% worth the trip to the south to get this kind of service. Anyone who tells me they will be getting a vehicle in the future, new or used, I will be recommending southpointe Toyota, and Sam himself.

I went last week and I was interested in a tacoma, the sales guy told me that they would keep the price and order the truck but I had to pay a deposit of 1000; I told him that I could only pay 500 so they took it. When I made the numbers I saw that it was very expensive and apart from that when I asked about the truck they told me that it arrived in mid-October so I decided better not to do the business with them and ask for my deposit and they said that they could not refund my money.

FInally I saw reviews from South point toyota and I am not just the who lost the deposit when deciding not to continue with the business, ,sure I am lucky they only stole $500

Left here almost in tears. Was very serious in purchasing a vehicle. Test drove and came back twice. I dealt with Mike P who was very short, rude, and pressuring. Due to my age I feel he didn't take me seriously. Never once offered water or coffee and just overall not welcoming.. made me feel belittled and in the end, I couldn't get out of there fast enough.
Went to Lexus and got treated like loyalty!

A fluent liar and excellent deceiver. Will try every tactic in the book with the utmost disrespect.
Wasted my time bringing me into the dealership and when I arrived, changed the agreed upon price with blatant disrespect. Very shady individual. Will be contacting AMVIC as well as Better Business Bureau.

Not the first dealership I went to. One of the last I will ever go to.

I gave a two star ratting because of the second sales associate. He would have earned you a 5 star if I went with the Toyota.

A few issues I think management should take a look at.
* Was greeted and handed a business card before I even got 10 feet through the door.
* Just because you "sales" associate says hello first doesn't mean I'll buy from you. That's poaching sales and not cool.
* Let a person look at a few vehicles if they are obviously looking and don't really want a sales person around. Especially if they voice they are browsing.
* When I did I have a question the sales person in question was at the vehicle again. I asked a simple question, if better radio options are available. He didn't have the answer and suggested we go talk to parts and see if the part could be ordered.

I stopped at this point and another associate was shaking his head. He knew the answer and the entire time was in disbelief at how desperate to make any sale this guy was. He answered my question. I thanked him and left the dealer ship.

I did go back to get pricing information from the second sales associate. Unfortunately I decided on a different vehicle.

A prospective client should be greeted, left to browse or talk to a sales associate without pressure or being handed a business card before they've finished saying hello.

A prospective client should be able to get in and out of show room vehicles without being stopped every time they get out of one if they want to buy now.

Sales associates should know their product.

I got one detailing free from so many missed spots and then got it back the second time with more missed spots on controls and consoles. Had to use a simple baby wipes to finish the job.

They answered all my questions and helped me choose the perfect truck for my family. I met with the finance team and they got me a great deal and a monthly payment that works for our family. Not very honest persons ,Specially at the finance office.
Based on my experience, it seemed to me that the sale person and finance guy (Dean) are two separate company,not working for the dealership.
I saw a used car,I asked for a discount and the sale person gave me a good price to make the deal,but when we wanted to finish the deal ,the finance person asked me an unusual cost as the finance fees. He told me that this amount was charged by the bank because the price was reduced a bit compared to the original price. It was so funny because that the extra fee was exactly in the range of the the discount they gave me for the car to make that deal.
IT WAS A VERY BAD EXPERIENCE FOR ME ,because I did not have the feeling that I can trust them, I did not like the way that I was treated by that finance guy . Fortunately I did not purchase the car .
As an advise, do not be shy, read everything they gave you, ask for the conditions and do not trust easily when they offer you 1000$ discount,make sure that they do not make it up in the next step.
The picture that I have from that dealership is that there are some unfriendly staff there trying to show that they are very nice and helpful,but at the end of the day you have the opposite feeling.

Really a great dealership, the customer service here is unbeatable. I met with Umesh Ahuja, I would surely recommend him to all my contacts looking to buy a vehicle. From the first moment I walked in I felt that I was in good hands and the team of professionals are very much knowledgeable about all of the vehicles and their options. Umesh was friendly, honest about everything and very professional. He did his best to find a vehicle that met all of my needs, I've been to other dealership's but now I can say that South Pointe blows all of them out of the water. I bought a used Tundra with only 72,000 kms on it and immediately drove it to Ontario. A little less than a month and under 10,00kms later, it needs a new engine. South Pointe wouldn't return my calls and it took weeks to actually get in touch with someone. Once I did, they were short with me and told me "nothing we can do". Poor service and a shady place to buy a used vehicle from. My family has always been avid Toyota supporters, but we will never buy one again.

My Sales Rep, Jamil took the extra step to make me feel like a valued customer. He was great! Great personality and outstanding customer service skills. I was very pleased with the attentive service I received for my 2010 Tacoma. The service rep spent time with me to go over what service was required for this visit and indicated they would only do what was required. A phone later in the morning to confirm what work would be completed on this visit was a nice change from other auto service companies I have used in the past. I will definitely be going back to South Pointe.

Let me clarify one thing, I am rating not because of brand but of sure because of quality of Service I am getting from this location. I am with these guys since long time and whenever it comes towards service they are just not good. Every time I got something new came up and need to book appointments and appointments. This is waist of my time. Although I have every time new vehicles from them. I just got my 1st service completed from south pointe Toyota which was just a checkup. When I paid and left the counter to get my vehicle and noticed the key they gave me wasn t mine, so I went back to claim my keys.
Next day I tried to start my engine via remote and it doesn t work so I just let it go. This week as weather was cold so I tried again but remote didn t work. So called them and they advised me to book an other appointment and no appointments available till November 11, They don t understand who s fault is this.
This is not a customer service someone can except from Toyota

Let s see if they reach out to me or not if not then I will reach out to main dealership

We just purchased our second vehicle from South Pointe Toyota and I highly recommend working with product advisor Afsheen if you are looking for a new (or used) vehicle. He was very knowledgeable of the vehicles, made us feel comfortable and found the perfect vehicle for us. He was also pleasant to negotiate with and did not make us feel pressured. We also appreciated finance manager Ryan making the purchase feel seamless and having patience with us getting a few documents in order. Continued great service, and of course great Toyota vehicles, will keep us coming back.

I had a great experience today there! I took my car in for a detailing service! They had great customer service, an amazing customer lounge with not one... but 2 coffee machines for all your coffee needs! They gave me a ride back home and picked me up when my car was done!
My car looks immaculate... don t think I can let anyone ride in it again! Haha!

My wife and I recently purchased our first brand new vehicle and Chad Watts took great care of us during the entire experience. He took the time to walk us through our many options, and he was very patient as we tried to figure out exactly what we wanted. We are very happy with our purchase, and how we were treated during our time at the dealership. After many different dealerships and test drives of all different types of SUV's I decided to pop in to South Pointe Toyota. I have always been a GM girl...... Danny Morales has changed me to a Toyota girl now! He was more than fantastic! I was greeted right away and he asked all the right questions. There was a 4Runner for me to test drive in minutes. It was love in a few miles :) Any question I had it was answered thoroughly. Danny went through the vehicle with me front to back. No pressure to purchase like most other dealers but I did buy after my test drive. To this day Danny still checks to make sure I still love my 4Runner. Any issues, he was on them in a heart beat. I would highly recommend asking for Danny when you are looking for your next Vehicle!

I was shopping around for a car recently. I went into South Pointe Toyota and Dennis Ashworth greeted me as I walked in the door. Super friendly guy. He was super knowledgeable, thorough and a great listener, I didn t feel pressured for one second

I was very impressed with his skills. Just made me think very highly overall of how South Pointe Toyota runs. They seem to pick great people first, then train them to a very high level.

I will be referring many of my friends looking for vehicles to South Pointe Toyota
