I m torn about writing a review. I had a good experience with the people, but the used vehicle I ve purchased from them has had numerous issues with the engine... I would purchase another vehicle from them, but i would definitely be looking at something with lower miles.

Mark Miller Toyota was our first stop, and we wanted to shop around before we decided to go ahead and made the huge decision to buy a new car. We checked a couple of other dealerships and, I'm not going to lie, found one that gave us a great deal... however, my boyfriend and I couldn't get over just how incredible Mark Miller's customer service was and decided to go back to them (granted if they could meet the same deal, which they did and actually beat!) Eric truly went above and beyond with all his help! He answered all our questions, and then some, before we even had a chance to ask. He actually took the time to get to know us, and listen to what we wanted/needed. They weren't pushy at all and made us feel comfortable and confident in our decision to take the plunge. We were honest with them and told them we wanted to shop around, and they completely respected that. They made the whole car buying experience so much easier than we expected. We hope we can go back to them in the future!
We are absolutely loving our new RAV4!!

Fist, I should commend the management of their service department for remedying a seatbelt problem for which I initially encountered difficulty with respect to having addressed on a previous visit. They were attempting to build 'good will' with a customer. That being said, I experienced a hostile attitude from the Service Advisor responsible for the imbroglio that occurred during my initial visit (when the seatbelt problem was not addressed). This individual had no role to play in correcting the situation on my second visit, but as I entered their shop to pick up my vehicle, he made a point to walk straight at me with an expression you might expect from someone who's dog you just kicked, said nothing as he brushed past and left the building. Very unnecessary drama. Oh well, so much for building up some 'good will' with a customer. I will certainly avoid this dealership going forward.

Great Service. Great People. Awesome!

Great Service. Great People. Awesome!

After calling and shopping around to many dealers in the area, we finally called Spencer at Mark Miller Toyota. He assured us that we would have an awesome experience there. I was hesitant to believe him because of all of the nightmares we experienced everywhere else. Boy was I wrong. When we got there, Spencer was busy,we were assisted by Ken instead. Ken was great! He didn't mention financing/purchasing until we found a car we liked and said we were ready. Spencer helped us later as well. They were easy to work with and were clearly more interested in us having a good experience than selling us a car. We were treated like PEOPLE. So many dealers treat their customers like slot machines, just hoping for a sale. Spencer and Ken at Mark Miller Toyota treated us like the humans that we are. NEVER once were they pushy. Ken put every little detail "out on front street". They didn't hide ANYTHING from us. I don't think we will ever buy another car anywhere else. If you live in the area, GO HERE FIRST, skip the other "Miller" dealership.

This started out as a patient and good place to do business. We continued to struggle with our decision before buying but ultimately went to Mark Miller and worked with Juan. They gave us a trade in offer and a price on the new Land Cruiser, and just before we decided to go they decided to back out on their offer. They told me they needed to reevaluate our trade and then when I couldn t leave work to take them the trade they decided to cancel the deal that day. Dishonest and shady people to work with. Juan was also not helpful at all. Bountiful Toyota got our business and they were patient and professional.

I had a great experience buying from Mark Miller. I haven't bought a car in over 10 years, part of the reason behind that was because my previous purchasing experience was horrible. At Mark Miller, I felt like I was given straight answers, my time was respected, and I was well taken care of. Not only will I go back to this dealership when I am ready to buy again (which hopefully won't be for a while, because I love my new car) but I have no problem recommending them to my friends!

My husband and I bought a used Toyota Tundra back ...

My husband and I bought a used Toyota Tundra back in May. We had looked for months at a Tundra with a bench seat in the front, looking local and even looking states away. At first, the sales guy (Lee Morin) was helpful. Since we lived in a different state, he had processed everything over the phone for us. From the photos online the vehicle looked like a clean truck, minor normal wear on the body. We scheduled a day to make the drive over to Salt Lake City, which from us was a 4+ hour drive. A few days prior to making the trip, Lee called and said that the truck had a huge scratch down the passenger side of it, and was being taking into the body shop to be fixed and repainted. He stated that he would let us know if it was going to be out and done in time for us to head over to pick it up. About a day later he called and said that he had good news, the truck was out of the shop. It looked good, and he was headed to take it to get fueled up. We made the 4+ hour trip, once we got to the dealership my husband and I looked at the truck. The damage on the side of the truck had NOT been fixed. Needless to say, I was not happy, especially after driving that far. After suggesting that they take more money off the truck, due to the fact that we would now have to get the side fixed ourselves. Lee offered for Mark Miller to fix the side, if we brought the truck back. It's not a short trip to Salt Lake City. After some haggling, they did take money off the truck. Then 45 days later around the time I was suppose to register my truck. I went to the DMV, they stated they hadn't received anything yet, from Mark Miller and issued me another temp tag. The day before that temp tag expired, I went back to the DMV. They told me that they did receive a check from Mark Miller, but that Mark Miller had charged me way to much in taxes (hundreds of dollars) so the check they received would have to be sent back, and a new check would have to be re-issued, they issued me another 30 day temp tag. I had called Mark Miller, and had left several messages for Amber, even emailed her in search of the issue and what was going on with the check. Finally, calling again a few days later just to have the guy who answered the phone tell me that she was out that day. I asked to speak with someone else in regards to a check that needed to be re-issued. The Amber came on the phone. Said she was waiting on the check to be received, then she needed to get signatures, before re-sending the check out for the correct amount. The day before that temp tag expired, I went back to the DMV, and they said that they still hadn't received a check from Mark Miller, that it was sent back to Mark Miller on the 28th of July, and they were just waiting. After being issued another temp tag, a week later I received a post card from the DMV saying the truck was ready to be registered. I called Amber at Mark Miller again, leaving a message once again. I let a day pass, finally calling Mark Miller and just asking to talk to someone about a check for overage of taxes that was owed to me and my husband. I was sent to someone other then Amber, having to leave another message. About 10 minutes later Amber calls me back. She stated that she was still waiting for a check, that she could not release my tax overage money until Mark Miller gets their check back, from the DMV. I called the DMV again, asking them about the check, and they stated that the DMV wouldn't of sent me a registration card if they hadn't received the check for the correct amount. Now she was telling me it was going to be another week. Are you kidding me?????? Hated it, doesn't even being to describe the experience at Mark Miller. Instead of giving someone the run around how about just be honest. Not only was the sale person, NOT honest with us, but now the title lady, (who can't return phone calls or emailed), is giving the run around. It's been almost 90 days since we bought this truck. We will tell everyone we know, about this experience and to NOT purchase their vehicles, new or used from Mark Miller Toyota!!!!

Best Car Buying Experience I've Had

Best Car Buying Experience I've Had

I was referred to Mark Miller Toyota by a friend who use to work there. I figured if anyone knew the car industry in Utah, it was him. From the very beginning he told me, "Go to Mark Miller. They won't play games, and they'll take care of you long after you've purchased from them." Having had bad experiences with dealerships in the past, I went into it skeptical, but was very pleasantly surprised. I worked with Jesse Tyler, their internet sales manager. From day one Jesse was friendly, helpful, and no non-sense. He didn't mess around or play games. He gave me a fair offer from the beginning, and even though 3 other dealerships in the valley offered me the same car for $100 less just to beat Mark Miller, I gave my business to Jesse. He didn't come across as a dirtbag salesman that everyone dreads working with. I could tell by both working with him first hand, and the recommendation of my friend that he was going to do everything he could to get me into the car I wanted at the best price. One thing that especially stuck out was that many other dealerships I had visited tried to get me into the car that they wanted me in, Jesse got me into the car that best suited my family's needs. In fact we were dead set on getting a Corolla, but after talking with me he pushed me towards the Camry, and now that I see new Corollas around the parking lot at work, I shake my head wondering "what was I thinking?" The new Camry is exactly what we needed, and unlike stereotypical pushy salesmen trying to meet a quota, Jesse got us in the right car at the right price. One of the best parts of the buying process was Mark Miller was that I don't think I ever spent more than an hour at a time visiting the dealership. Even on the day of the pick of the vehicle I showed up and Jesse had all of my paperwork ready to go. I could have been out quicker, but I wanted to be certain I was getting exactly what I had promised. Of course again to my surprise everything was typed up EXACTLY according to how we had agreed. There was no last minute "bait and switch" sales tactics. When I say no games, I mean it. I was especially impressed with the after sale customer service. We had a couple of things done to the vehicle after we bought it (window tint, side moldings, etc.). The service center called us first thing on Monday, scheduled an appointment, had a loaner car ready for us first thing Tuesday morning, and by Tuesday night EVERYTHING was done. Their service center is clean, helpful, and is a place I would feel comfortable sending my wife to alone. In summary, if you're looking for a Toyota in Utah, start at Mark Miller. I visited 4 of the 5 Toyota dealerships between Salt Lake and Utah County and found Mark Miller to be the best overall. To any of them who might be reading this, a huge thank you for the great service you provided us, and to those of you who are in the car buying stages, start with them. They don't just deserve your business, they will earn it.

We bought a Highlander here recently and really liked how their sales team works. We weren't pressured into buying something off the lot or something that we weren't looking for. We ended up ordering a new one, and the process was painless and it was delivered on schedule. I appreciate that they took the time to show how some of the controls in the dash worked and made sure everything was in order. They did forget a part that was ordered, hence the 4 stars, but they were sure to remedy that was quick as possible.

They won a repeat customer with their level of service. I have always assumed reviews where they reference employees by name were just written by bored salespeople inflating the score. Mark Miller Toyota deserves its high rating. I had an issue with the used vehicle I purchased (not their fault) and was able to get a resolution that far exceeded my expectations for how I'd be treated. I was fulling expecting to have to fight for a solution while talking to a salesperson going back and forth between me and management. Lance, one of the managers, spoke with me directly and listened to my concerns and responded with an even better resolution than I expected. I used to be a customer service manager and I thought their response was textbook. Also, I was helped on 2 separate days by Greg and Kelly in sales to find the perfect car. I'd ask for either of them when shopping. Also, I appreciated the low-key sales from the accessory manager and explanation of warranty from Randy. Great staff from top to bottom! Thanks for the help!!

I will never do business with this dealership ever!! I went there and was looking for a car. The salesman was very nice, test drove a car I liked, but when the finance manger came over to talk to me about my trade in and they wouldn't do any kind of dealing with me and he was VERY rude. He told me this is how it is and if you don't like it theirs the door. If people are looking to buy Toyota go somewhere else that will treat you better!!

I recently purchased a 2018 Toyota 4Runner from Mark Miller Toyota. It was by far the best experience I have ever had at a car dealership. Rafael Cruz was very professional and spoke to me and my wife on a personal level. When we had a question on accessories, he brought over a manager to sit down and speak with us. We had a few questions on warranty and finance and he brought over a manager in that department. Such amazing customer service! All of my questions and concerns were easily resolved. We decided on a few add ons which included a remote start. When we brought our 4Runner back a week later to have that installed, Brayden in the service department welcomed me by introducing himself and shaking my hand, providing another great experience at Mark Miller Toyota. I will be a customer for life!

I scheduled a 30k maintenance for my car. I was on time for my appointment and immediately taken care of. While going over the mileage on my car with the employee who was checking me in he checked my mileage and saw that in the past year I had only put 8k miles on my Toyota. He suggested letting him look at everything to see what I actually needed done vs. just getting the 30k package. I only needed a tire rotation and oil change. This suggestion saved me $100+. I will be back for all maintenance because of his honesty. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED.

I received a letter from Scion in regards to Warra...

I received a letter from Scion in regards to Warranty Enhancement ZE7, which detailed that replacement parts were available for vehicles that failed an engine oil consumption test. Based on this letter I made an appointment at Mark Miller Toyota for 01/05/2016 to begin the oil consumption test.
I have been taking my car to Mark Miller Toyota since 2010. My relationship with them began because my engine was making a ticking noise. Mark Killer Toyota has documentation about the history of my car and its excessive oil consumption. One of their technicians even stated in my car s history that the tick in my engine is due to the excessive oil consumption.
Upon arrival the service manager that assisted me, Bruce, was very abrasive. He asked if I had the previous recommended repair completed, which was the non-chalant suggestion that the only way to get rid of the tick was to rebuild my engine. I asked Bruce, Why would I rebuild my engine if Scion is acknowledging that there is an oil consumption problem? He responded to that question stating that he couldn t help me if I hadn t completed that recommended repair.
I ask, what would the point be of having an oil consumption test completed if I had rebuilt my engine?
He then states that he could have the test done but that if my car fails, the only way I could move forward is to provide documentation of every oil change over the history of my car. I was baffled. He really didn t give the slightest indication that he wanted to help me at all. I came into Mark Miller Toyota due to a letter I received from Scion, I was ill-prepared to be bullied by their service manager for some unjustified reason.
I told Bruce that, regardless of what documentation they would need to move forward, I wanted to get the oil consumption test completed.
After they completed an oil change, sealed my oil cap and I m assuming the filter/bolt in the undercarriage, they called me and let me know that my car was ready. When I arrived to pick up my car, no one walked through the paperwork with me. The receptionist had me sign for the oil change and acknowledge that I had to return at 1,100 miles to complete the test.
Based on my experience being badgered by Bruce, the service manager, I made a phone call to Scion and filed an official complaint. I was then contacted by Kris at Mark Miller Toyota who has had a helpful demeanor and requested that I return to Mark Miller Toyota and work with Wendell to have my oil consumption test completed. I returned today, 1/29/2016, at exactly 1,101 miles.
According to Wendell my car had consumed one quart of oil but regardless it passed the oil consumption test. Apparently my car would have to consume an entire quart and a drop before they would honor Warranty Enhancement ZE7. If my car is burning through one quart every 1,100 miles, that would mean that at 3,000 miles (the typical time for an oil change) that I would only have one quart of oil left in my engine. Is my car supposed to run on that?
So my question is, if Scion is willingly offering to replace parts for cars that experience excessive oil consumption, why am I having to fight so hard to get that offer honored? If consuming one quart of oil for every 1,100 miles isn t enough, what is? At what point in time is Scion/Mark Miller Toyota actually going to take accountability or was Warranty Enhancement ZE7 just fluff?
I would like to see official documentation stating exactly how much oil has to be consumed for Warranty Enhancement ZE7 to be honored. If it is true that consuming one quart of oil every 1,100 miles is not enough, I would like them to explain why. I am also inclined to let as many people as possible know that even though Scion is acknowledging that there is an issue, they have no inclination to follow through with it. Or maybe I m wrong and for some unjust reason Mark Miller Toyota is unwilling to honor Warranty Enhancement ZE7 sent by Scion. Then maybe they shouldn t be a Scion dealership.

Mark Miller Toyota should go buy an old antique brass deep sea diver's pressure gauge and put it in a nice case like they do with sports memorabilia. Then, inside the display case next to the pressure gauge, place a small sign that says"

Welcome, this is a "low pressure" dealership.

Then put it where everybody can see it. That pretty well summarizes my experience during my recent automobile purchase.

TL;DR

TL;DR
Service workers broke the windshield trying to fix sealing and attempted to avoid the responsibility saying that it was originally broken.
----------------------------------------------

**UPDATE** Response that I received from Angela Gertino after posting my feedback just confirms that this is the company that cannot be trusted. In her response Angela promised that "one of our service manager's contacts you". I have never received any calls from their representatives regarding my negative experience, and such behavior just undermines their reputation.
**********************

Service that you have never experienced before: "Here is your car sir! We know, the windshield is broken but it is your fault because you've chosen our service"

The title is sarcastic but here is the full story.

May 12: I left my car in Mark Miller Service (Salt Lake City) to check a few problems including peeled off windshield sealing. As a side note, I have a new Toyota Corolla which is still under warranty.

May 13: I came to pickup the car. I get car key from receptionist and what I see is a huge crack on a windshield starting from the place where sealing was peeled off. Off course, they fixed the sealing but the crack was something new. Service guy tried to convince me that it was like that when I left my car in the service.
After my complaints they called manager whom first words were "Let's share the price to fix that". I was absolutely sure that the windshield was in ideal condition when I was leaving the car. Moreover, I paid attention to that particular place where crack was starting, because it was the spot that I asked to fix sealing at.
Manager made a bold move and showed me a document stating that they received my car with windshield already broken. I didn't accept that argument as the document wasn't signed by me and it was apparently crafted after the service works.
At that point manager called a worker who serviced the car and that guy admitted that he accidentally had broken the windshield (Mr.Manager why didn't you call him earlier? Do you even know what is going on in your department?).
The manager apologized but rejected to replace the glass with original Toyota windshield with the official reason: "it costs 1200$ and we cannot afford that". So I was left without a choice and we agreed the windshield to be replaced by Monday 8.00am.

May 16, 8.30am: Of course they didn't replaced the windshield by the time we agreed.

May 17: Windshield is replaced but there are some signs of glue and scratches on a cowl. They promised to replace the cowl on Thursday but in the best tradition of Mark Miller Toyota service I'm still waiting for their call.

I brought our Sienna into the service department in mid-October and while there researched and test drove a Highlander which we eventually bought at the end of October. I just turned 50 and I've bought a lot of vehicles over the years. I love shopping for cars, but I dread the typical negotiation and trade-in process. This was BY FAR the best buying experience I've ever had. Thanks to Matt Hanousek in sales for making it so easy. And to Chris Reynolds in service (and team) for taking care of us and our vehicles. Exceptional knowledge, communication, and integrity. You guys are the reason we keep coming back!

Bought my 17 Tacoma here. Buying experience was very easy. I emailed the salesman requesting pricing, went in 5 days later and purchased the vehicle. Very simple. 5/5 stars for purchasing.

12/22/16 update - Service manager took time out of his day to discuss this review. Explained volume of cars and expectations of fueling. I am updating the service review to 5/5.

I took the truck in at 400 miles to have a rear end noise diagnosed. They used 1/4 of a tank of my gas to try and diagnose and did not refill. 1/5 for service.

((1/5 + 5/5)/2)=3/5

HORRIBLE! Skip this dealership if you want a fair deal, treated with respect, appreciated, looked at as a person. The name starts out as a fake, they are not related to the Utah Jazz Millers! I got ripped off on my trade-in and when I was financed for $30k for a used car and found some paint scrapes on one side, they blamed me and pretended to fix it! Another time my key fob didn't work and so they told me to come in for a new one. I live over an hour away but nobody said I'd be there for over 2 hrs to get a new one programmed. Turns out it just needed a battery!!! LAME! I do take the blame for not being smart enough to know this, but shouldn't someone have mentioned that if they stop working check the battery??? Not only did that happen but the few times I went back for an oil change, people were so rude checking us in. Horrible place, will Never recommend this place EVER! Thanks to AFCU I got out from under their financing.

I shopped all of the Toyota dealers before going to Mark Miller. In just a few minutes with Justin I had a a paper with my price on a vehicle and all of the financing, trade, reg. fee, etc. He was non pressure and really good to work with. I respected them so much that I gave a deposit and committed to buy from them while we looked for the right vehicle. Again Justin was great to work with in finding a very specific model for us rather than pressuring us to buy one off the lot. It was a great experience and a great price for our Sienna. Thanks!

My wife and I had an amazing experience buying a Tundra from Mark Miller Toyota. We sent a request for information that was very specific with color, and options that we were looking for. Spencer Williams responded quickly with what we were looking for and nothing else. He simply asked that we come take a look and left it at that. After being bombarded by other dealerships that we had contacted trying to get us to come in on trucks we were not interested in seeing we decided to go visit with Spencer. He was very friendly and calm! He asked great questions and quickly established what are needs and and wants were. He set us up in the truck and showed us how it operated and sent us on our way. When we returned he had printed some comparison reports in relations to some questions I had involving other makes and comparing them to the Toyota. We wanted some time to think about things and he graciously let us go without trying to wear us down or any other high pressure tactics. After considering things over the weekend I contacted him the following Monday to arrange for us to come and pick it up. He recommended gathering some information over the phone to expedite the paperwork process. When we arrived he had everything ready to go and we were meeting with the financing department right away. They were great in financing as well, gave us some great options for the long term care of the Tundra and stayed away once again from any high pressure tactics as we made our decisions there. The paperwork process was over in less than an hour. They have great options for financing, extended warranties, maintenance and many others. They also have a great selection of add ons for your vehicle. We had them do a bed liner and it is the nicest one I have seen. We were through paperwork process and out out to the truck within an hour another which is the fastest I have ever experienced. Finally Spencer stayed late to set up all the features and options and to show them to us as well. All in all it was an amazing experience and I would highly recommend them to everyone!

What a refreshing, unusual car buying experience. ...

What a refreshing, unusual car buying experience. We decided we wanted to get a Toyota Tacoma pickup truck and while downtown one day, we parked and walked around the lot at Mark Miller Toyota for a few minutes and looked at the Tacomas on the lot. After looking at two other local dealerships and online, we narrowed our search to a white SR5 4X4 Double Cab Short Bed Tacoma and saw that Mark Miller had one on the lot. We went down to look at it and met our sales person Lyle. He was very informative and answered all of our questions and let us test drive the Tacoma we were interested in. We loved the truck so we began a very short negotiation period. In minutes, Lyle, the sales manager and my wife and I agreed upon a very fair price. Then Lyle told us they had another white SR5 Tacoma on it's way to the dealership and asked if we wanted that one fresh off the truck. We said sure, we'll take the newest one. The next morning, we went back to check out our new Tacoma and take it for a drive. After finding everything in order, Lyle took us to the finance area and in a few minutes we were through with the deal. We really like how Mark Miller explains everything they offer and that the fact they are not pushy when it comes to trying to sell you accessories and other stuff like extended warranties etc. The entire experience from working with Lyle, the finance office and everyone else at Mark Miller left us feeling excited about purchasing a new Tacoma. They have been fantastic with follow up calls to make sure we are happy and that everything is working with our Tacoma.
We would highly recommend Mark Miller Toyota if you are in the market for a new Toyota vehicle. Ask for Lyle if you have questions or want to take a test drive.

I will ONLY buy from Mark Miller Toyota after my recent experience purchasing a car. Shantay was incredible to work with and made sure all of our questions were answered as we considered our purchase. She made sure we were feeling comfortable every step of the way from trading in our current car, making sure we found the car we wanted, and making sure the financials made sense for us. Zero pressure, Zero Used Car Salesman tactics. We would HIGHLY recommend contacting Shantay and the Mark Miller team if you re looking to purchase a car. Mark Pugh was excellent to work with as we went through the financial side of the purchase. He made sure we got the rate we wanted and didn t push to up sell anything as we went out the door. My wife and I have purchased many cars together and Mark Miller Toyota provided the best car buying experience we ve ever had.

so far, I have good luck with Mark Miller Toyota. The "other" Miller places...not so much. The location on W Temple has a quick oil service that has been pretty good. I was able to buy a my wife's Highlander at Mark Miller's in UNDER ONE HOUR!!!! No kidding, it was like 55 minutes (bought it on the Costco program and did a lot of the work over the internet/phone).

Because I own Toyota, I have no idea how good their repair service is...(knock on wood).

When it comes to customer service, convenience and price point, Mark Miller Toyota sets the bar very high for other dealerships to follow. I worked with Jesse Tyler and Steven Arce, both of whom were very knowledgeable sales associates about the product they were selling and both made the process of buying a car, easy. Frankly, buying a car can be a stressful experience and nothing irritates me more than going to a dealership where the sales associates are pushy and uninformed about the product they are selling--you will not have this problem at Mark Miller Toyota. From the moment I entered the showroom, I was greeted in a friendly manner and it was very apparent that the customer experience was the top priority. Once you're part of the Mark Miller Toyota family it's hard to look anywhere else. I would recommend this dealership to anyone who wants a stress-free car buying experience and in the future I would buy from them again.

Service at MMT is exceptional. Estimates are always clear and accurate and they communicate issues and costs immediately when they find them. Shuttle service to work is reliable and again they communicate well about their arrival time for pickups. Wendell is always patient and friendly when explaining the work done. I won't take my car anywhere else.

Impeccable service. Jeremy Ward is a gantleman. The free shuttle service was GREAT for my 77-year-old mother. Job was completed a touch later than originally told but they owned up to it and made it up to us. Thanks guys.

So happy with the way I was treated. I felt like what I said mattered. I knew what I could afford and Doug didn't try to up-sell to more than I wanted. I will be happy to recommend Mark Miller Toyota to anyone. My only complaint is just a pet-peeve of mine, the inside windows were not cleaned on my new RAV4.

Recently had my car serviced at Mark Miller. Everything was fantastic, especially during the pandemic. I was explained everything that was going to be done on my vehicle and also given some helpful suggestions which were also explained in detail where I understood what was going to happen and why. I had previously been going to another Toyota dealership but so glad I made the switch. THANK YOU MARK MILLER TOYOTA!

First Sales: I came in looking for a very specific Tacoma. I wanted a Magnetic Gray Long Bed Off Road with the Technology Package. The salesman told me that the Long bed and color combo was very rare and there weren't any on the ground at any dealer close enough to transfer it in, and that I would have to select something else or wait 3-4 months for the factory to build one. He then tried to sell me a Limited, a different color or a short bed Tacoma. They then told me that my transmission on my trade in was failing. I found this surprising since I just drove it from Texas to Utah without issue. I asked them to show me and while in the parking lot the sales rep floored the gas pedal at which time I felt a thud in the front in. I hadn't noticed it before because I dont floor my 4 cylinder Accord. The key thing is, it didn't feel like a transmission issue, but a motor mount failing. I took it in and sure enough it was a motor mount, that only cost about $150, not the several hundred a new transmission would've cost. Thankfully I decided to wait and look elsewhere. 3 days after leaving Mark Miller I found one 30 minutes up the road in Orem, Utah. Turns out the Dealer just lied to me.

Service: I scheduled an appointment to have my new Tacoma undercoated for additional sound proofing and more importantly corrosion prevention. While scheduling my appointment I let them know I'd need a loaner or rental, at the time I was transferred to service rep, but got a voicemail. I left a message and never received a call back. I then called back to ensure that I'd have a loaner or rental available, at which time it wouldn't be an issue and to let the service rep know when I showed up. This morning I drive 35 minutes to the dealership for my appointment at which time I request a loaner or rental again. I was told I should've called ahead, at which time I let him know I did call ahead. I had to go to work so I had to leave and take my truck without getting the work done.

I've dealt with this dealership twice and both instances was lied to and had my time wasted due to their complete lack of effort...I'll drive an hour to Orem before I ever go back to Mark Miller Toyota for anything, service or sales.

Great dealership, great service. We have bought multiple vehicles from Mark Miller (between their Toyota and Subaru dealerships), and you'd be hard pressed to get us to go anywhere else at this point.

Service has all the amenities you would expect. Complimentary coffee, shuttle, wi-fi, and a free car wash.

I bought my 2017 Tacoma new earlier this year and take my truck in early for maintenance to keep it in the best shape. When I took my truck in for a simple, routine maintenance I was heading to a small trip for the weekend. After the oil change and on the way to the trip, I get to around Spanish Fork and my trucks oil light comes on and begins to smoke. Luckily, after having my truck with Brent Brown for four days, the engine was not ruined. Frankly, working with Mark Miller was a huge mistake and now I remember why I didn't buy the Tacoma from them in the first place. Your inability to do the routine maintenance has cost me time and money, and I can tell no one could care less. Mark Miller, I will never do business with you as you can't even do the simple things and could have ruined a brand new truck due to your negligence.

I came to Mark Miller Toyota with my son who was looking to trade in his 2008 Prius. We met Robin Gattis who immediately put us at ease. We felt comfortable with him, and confident in his integrity. My son found a 2010 Prius on the lot that met his needs and he was able to complete a trade-in transaction in a most efficient manner on that same day. After doing a great deal of research, my son felt assured that he was getting a fair trade-in allowance and a good price for the 2010 Prius as a certified pre-owned car. Robin treated my son with great courtesy and respect.

I was also in the process of looking for a vehicle to purchase. During my visit to the dealership, I noticed a 2011 Lexus IS 250 on the lot. I had no prior experience with this vehicle, but the mileage was very low so it piqued my interest. After discussing the vehicle with Robin, taking it for a few test drives over the next day or so, and doing a good deal of research, I decided this was a great car for me and I was interested in purchasing the Lexus. Robin was extremely responsive to all my questions and concerns about the vehicle's history and warranty. He also provided us with information and comparisons to justify the final price the dealership was able to offer. I told my husband I felt good about doing business with Robin and after meeting Robin, my husband was also impressed.

I am happy that we were able to purchase two vehicles with Robin Gattis. He certainly earned our confidence and loyalty in a short time. I previously purchased a vehicle from Mark Miller Subaru and was impressed by their business practices. Buying these cars from Mark Miller Toyota has convinced me that both of these family owned dealerships stand by their word and provide excellent customer service overall.

I've never dealt with the sales side of this company, but the service side was great. Chris was so helpful and courteous. He gave me a discount on my service because of my unique situation, and I really appreciate it. I didn't want to use their shuttle service, considering I had my one-year-old son with me, so we hung out in the lobby the whole day. Nobody seemed to care that I was walking laps around the building with my stroller (too cold to go outside), and there was plenty to keep him and me entertained, even though we were there for so long. They also have a nice little cafe with a few complimentary items, so even if I had forgotten to pack a lunch, we would have been just fine. I'll definitely be going back here!

Not impressed. The salesman was nice enough but proceeded to lie about a number of things in order for us to buy the car that night. We did not have a good experience and when we tried to get our issues resolved the manager did not take our complaints seriously. He listened empathetically for about 10 minutes as I told him all the problems we had and said he would "look into it" but when I called the next day he said "remind me what the problem was again". They really dropped the ball and made buying a vehicle very stressful. Maybe I just fell through the cracks of an otherwise competent company but overall I am unimpressed with the way they handled the mistakes they made and the insincerity of their sales and management team.

The used car department from the sales agent (Samantha, Don (not sure of his position but he has the worst Interpersonal communication skills I have ever encountered in a professional capacity) and Mr Daniel James (Used Car Manager) turned out to be a disappointing experience. After I got locked into the financial agreement, Samantha neglected to tell of the weatherstripping that is missing along the top of the truck, the many dents also in the top of the vehicle. I asked for paperwork to show me what had been done to the truck prior to posting the vehicle online for sale (oil change, tuneup, wheels aligned, etc) to determine what I planned to do in terms of upgrading. No one was willing or able to help me and after trying to reach Mr James (who has yet to respond to any of my calls in over 3 weeks), I was sent a clear message that Mark Miller Toyota is only interested in selling cars and once your name is on the dotted line , you re screwed!!! If you are looking for a Toyota, do yourself a favor and make the trip south to Karl Malone.....staff there are so much more acccommodating and they return phone calls.

I purchased a certified pre-owned toyota from Mark Miller last year. Had a great experience with my sales person, Matt. He was very easy going and did not pressure us, which we really appreciated.

Despite the positive sales experience, I was wary of coming in for our regular service--I always assume I'll be pressured into service that I don't really need, plus I've always heard it's more expensive if you go to the dealership. But this was not at all the case at Mark Miller. The service was quick and the pricing very reasonable; they told me exactly what I did and didn't need (mostly didn't); and all the people I dealt with were as friendly and professional as could be. Now I won't dread going back for my next scheduled service.

When I called into this Toyota dealership, I received a recall from the company about a specific part in the car that needed to be fixed and they were able to schedule me for the same day! That was really convenient because Monday was my only day off that week. Not only were they friendly, but they also had a shuttle that dropped me off at home and picked me up when the service was done so I didn't have to wait 7 hours at the dealership. I felt like I didn't waste the day and I know that Toyota cares about their customers by offering that service because who wants to sit in a waiting room all day?

I will NEVER use this dealership again and I hope ...

I will NEVER use this dealership again and I hope that everyone reads this before deciding where to buy a Toyota!!!!

My story: I was negotiating a 2017 Sienna van with several dealerships and the Toyota Bountiful group gave me the best price. I called Jim McMaster (salesman) at Mark Miller to let him know that I appreciated his time, but I was going with another dealership. Jim told me that he would match the price, had the vehicle in stock, and since I am in Salt Lake, he would save me time-- so I agreed to come in and buy from Mark Miller instead. I sent Jim the proof of the price through text message, and told him I did not want to play games, I just wanted the van for that price and he agreed.

When my wife and I showed up Jim had my wife test drive the van, and while she was out, he handed me an invoice for $1200 over what he promised on the phone 10 minutes prior. Surprise, surprise. I told Jim we did not agree to this and he said, "I didn't know you were financing" which is a bold faced lie, since he and I both had the same message which I showed him again. I told Jim I was leaving the dealership since he wasted my time, and he said "when the Toyota Bountiful dealership goes back on their word to see him, cause there was no way they could do the deal for that price."

Guess what?! I went to the Toyota Bountiful dealership, and had the BEST experience. There were no games, they gave me the price they promised (unlike Jim), and they treated me well (thanks Doug and Matt for saying something and actually meaning it). I will send all my business to Toyota Bountiful and tell everyone to avoid Mark Miller and Jim the salesman moving forward... nice move Jim, your lies and condescending attitude just lost a lot of business for your dealership. I hope your GM and owner reads this post.

I was not impressed at all with the salesman, Robin. I felt like I was the one trying to sell something. We pursued our own financing for my daughter, since he was not motivated to help us. We initiated all contact, and made all of the efforts, just to see online that the car was already sold. We will not return to this dealership based on the way that their employee represented them. Go elsewhere for good service!

I bought a used Toyota about a month ago from a pr...

I bought a used Toyota about a month ago from a private party. The check engine light came on (not shocking considering its age), so I took it to the dealership to have the light diagnosed (as my local mechanic does not have the correct reader). The Mark Miller service team said they couldn t find the issue because it was throwing multiple, contradictory error codes and that I had to give them more diagnosis time. So I did. $400 later, it is a sensor they fixed it and I am on my way annoyed, but understanding.

2 DAYS later, I had to bring my car back in because it wasn t downshifting properly. I did a lot of research (including talking to 3 mechanics) and had a list of possible issue with the car (mostly sensors: throttle placement, O2, temperature, etc.), they immediately dismissed all that swearing up and down that it would throw a code (I had only driven about 11 miles since leaving the dealership earlier that week). They took a look and told me that my transmission is shot and that they will need $2,000 to replace it.

I was suspicious because a) my tranny fluid was still pink when I checked it about 10 miles before they did and b) my car is not acting as if the tranny is shot and c) because they were vague about the issue and could not clearly define it. As I am leaving the dealership to take it my local mechanic, the engine throws a code again .not 5 miles down the road. So, I left my car at my mechanic's shop. He takes a look at my transmission and says it is fine just needs a hose replacement; he also looks around and tells me he thinks the error is my O2 sensor, but that I should take it to dealership to double check since he can t read (or clear) the error code. He then replaces a couple of hoses and it drives great (for $200, not $2,000). In the week since, I have driven about 300 miles and it is going great and my fluid is still cherry red.

Yes my check engine light is still on. No I will not be taking it back to Mark Miller Service Center. I may need to find another dealership to diagnose and clear the code, due to the age of my car, but I will not be giving any more money to this place. I AM SURE that this code is related to the first time I brought my car in and they either lied about the condition of my transmission to get money, or they were too lazy to properly diagnose it.

Added later: It has been about a month; I have driven about 1500 miles. My transmission is still fine; the fluid level is great and the color is still clean and red. The hose fixed my problem.

The dealership commented saying my tran. fluid was burnt and low when I brought it in. I would like to note that at the time I was told my transmission was shot (and they need $2,000 to fix it), they told me that my fluid was low, but NOT BURNT at all. I had also checked it shortly before had--it was pink. That is one of the reasons I got a second opinion--dying transmissions to not generally have clean fluid like mine did.

I had the best experience at Mark Miller Toyota, downtown SLC, when I brought my 4Runner in for odds and ends maintenance. Brandon V. was my service advisor. I made an appointment and was two hours early, but Brandon was able to get me checked right in...yay. I did not need a courtesy shuttle or loaner car, so I did not mind waiting in the dealership. Everyone was very courteous and helpful as I walked around browsing new vehicles (not needing one) but just spending time while waiting on a sunny day. Thanks took advantage of the complimentary snacks & drinks at the snack bar, and even discovered there are free race car video games! The televisions were on several different channels, so easy to watch what interested me. Brandon took care of every need my 4Runner had, and kept me updated as they serviced my SUV. I had a great experience and appreciated the fact that I drove almost an hour to the original place of purchase (as I always do) for outstanding service! Thanks!!
