A seriously luxurious hotel with the absolute best...

A seriously luxurious hotel with the absolute best service on the strip! All of the staff were attentive and kind and our room had a panoramic view of the entire south strip with floor to ceiling windows starting at the bed and ending at the other end of the bathroom.

Everything about the hotel was meticulously maintained from the second you stepped foot in the door and we more than appreciated the great amenities. This is the only hotel on the strip that didn't have a casino and was smoke free which we appreciated immensely. It was truly a place where we could just totally relax and be catered to at any hour. We most enjoyed lounging at the pool while having tasty mixed drinks (highly recommend the frozen mule).

The were a few reasons I detracted a star, the main reason is because upon check in and shortly after we entered our room and started preparing to hit the strip, a window cleaner cruised by the window nearest our bed. We were pretty shocked to say the least and after spending the remainder of the day out and returning we found a message from the hotel saying that window cleaning had been scheduled for the weekend. It would have been better to have that note beforehand or if we were even told by the staff during the check in process (not to take away from the guy who facilitated our check in, Jeremy, as he was excellent). There was also a time where there was a bit of miscommunication with the cleaning staff and we almost didn't have our room cleaned twice in one day. Also, the hotel is still in the process of renovating after buying the Mandarin Oriental so a lot of the old decor (some of it is pretty hit or miss) and some features are still around even if they are nonfunctional -- it wasn't very clear that our bathroom tv was not functional and we spent a lot of time trying to figure out how to turn it on before we asked the staff and were told that it no longer worked because it was likely going to go anyway. And lastly there was a day at the pool where we recieved pretty subpar service from our attending pool server -- it took him nearly twenty minutes to bring my drink and about half an hour to get us the single appetizer we ordered after assuring us that it would be out in less than ten minutes (by the time we left about an hour later we hadn't even seen him again).

Despite these issues, I still highly recommend that people book with the Waldorf Astoria when visiting Las Vegas. If you're considering a city view to save an extra few bucks, do yourself a favor and upgrade to a strip view room as most of the rooms are pretty affordable (with the exception of some of the larger suites). You will feel well cared for by nearly every staff member and fall in love with all of the luxurious amenities!

We love here in Vegas and do a lot of stay-cations . We ve stayed all over the Strip and local casinos but this is my first time staying here.

The place is amazing and one of the most beautiful in Vegas. Top notch customer service, clean and friendly place.

Our room is great and has a view of the Strip. I ll definitely be staying here again.

Thank you!

The attention to detail is astounding at this property. A nice quiet oasis off the strip, but still centrally located to access everything the strip has to offer. A specific shoutout to Jenleen at the front desk who was incredibly helpful throughout our stay! We will definitely return.

Not impressed... location is great. Staff not so much. It started with them ringing the bell to our room in the morning asking if we wanted room service, and continued that morning 5 total times they bothered us. One time we both are in the bathtub trying to enjoy ourselves and they ring and walk right in asking if we need service. Like what?? If we wanted service we would of asked, stop ringing the doorbell for no reason and just walking in. They also have this complimentary car that takes you 2 miles one way. Good luck getting it. It stops taking people at 9... we asked at 9:01. They denied us. Disappointing considering we are paying a lot of money to stay here.

I previously left a bad review @ it took 2 full hours past check in to get a room my husband reserved 7 days before. The stay turned out nice and relaxing.
All were efficient and the room was very nice.

My first stay at a Waldorf and definitely not my last. The hotel far surpassed my expectations in regards to service and cleanliness. The shower had the best water pressure of any hotel I ve ever stayed at. The only negative I found is there were no bedside outlets or USB ports to charge my phone so I had to plug it in by the desk. Can t wait to go back.

Very nice with easy access to the lobby but you need to take multiple elevators to g to your room and exit. If you want a large ice cube in your & 21 cocktail from the sky bar, it's a $4 dollar upcharge. Cheezy.

Really fantastic hotel experience in Las Vegas. Easy access to all the the Casino nuttiness but easily escaped as there isn't a Casino on property! Great bar, The SkyBar, with a well crafted list of cocktails, wines, and great views. The rooms are well appointed, with fresh fixtures, etc. The staff is great, with a very knowledgeable concierge for reservations, tours, etc. The only two cons of the property have been the Wi-Fi based in room TV system is super slow and the multi setting shower head is just the one setting.... It's a real 9/10.

Rooms are large. Bathroom is huge and very nicely done. Furniture feels dated. It hasn't been renovated to Waldorf Astoria yet from Mandarin Oriental so you have that to look forward to.

I stayed here back in October of 2019 and it was honestly the perfect hotel. I am usually one to stay at solely a Ritz or St. Regis but recently I was given diamond status at Hilton so I thought I would stay at my very first Waldorf hotel. I was given an upgrade the a double doored suite on the top floor of the hotel. Also the hotel is in a tower type building and the top 20 or so floors of the building are apartments owned by Hilton and the the bottom 40 floors are hotel rooms. I was here during my Universities fall break. It was me and 4 of my friends. We arrived an hour before the designated checkin time so we did have to wait several hours to check into our room but the hotel kindly gave a 300 dollar credit to use while we waited. Absolutely everything was amazing about the room The room had an AUX cord and speakers all throughout the space so we could plug our phone in and blast music all throughout. There was also a butlers kitchen in our room with a separate entrance so the first morning we were there breakfast was prepared for us. The only issue I had was the curtains in the master bedroom were not closing all the way (they are remote controlled) and this was the night before we flew home and when i woke up at 3am and the lights of the Vegas strip were blinding i went down to the front desk and explained to a very attentive representative the issue and I asked if i could have another room to sleep the rest of the night in. And without any hesitation he gave me a key to a normal bedroom a few floors below ours. Absolutely will stay here again.

Stayed at the Waldorf Astoria Las Vegas for Fourth of July weekend and was disappointed in their service. Thermostat in the room was broken; it was set to 62 and the room would not cool below 75. Maintenance could not fix it and their solution, rather than giving us a new room, was to send up a fan. Miserable. It took their staff 9 hours to bring toilet paper to our room, as they forgot to stock it prior to check in. Sit down breakfast was closed, which is understandable due to COVID, but the Zen Kitchen takeout line was often over an hour long, with only one staff member working the register. Unsupervised children clearly under the age of 16 were in the fitness center with no masks, and the attendants did not bother to remove them despite their poor behavior. It was a very underwhelming experience, as a Hilton Honors Diamond member I feel completely unvalued, and I will be staying at another resort such as Aria, Wynn, or the Bellagio during my next trip.

The Waldorf Astoria always provides joy and relaxation at each stay no matter which location and the Las Vegas hotel is no different. With the Aria just a few minutes walk around the corner and up the same driveway, it's a quiet and isolated feeling from the busyness of the strip around them. The hotel still has remnants from the Mandarin Oriental; however, the staff and feel during the transition are obvious. Some things are dated and need updates in time (some handrails had significant wear, bathrooms were dated and had worn material, and restaurant furniture and carpet was worn and dinged up), but the hotel feels like a Waldorf Astoria environment. Valet and Front Desk staff were top notch. For security reasons, the front desk is on the 23rd floor. To get to your room you'll have to go to the 23rd floor first, walk past the front desk, then use a second set of elevators to go down to your room's floor.

The bar on the 23rd floor is a great place to view sunsets over the strip and have a well prepared cocktail. The spa is basic comparatively to other Waldorf Astoria hotels; however, maybe worth a day pass for one day just to try it. The spa is included with spa services (massages, facials, other treatments, etc.)

The concierge was very hopefully researching and purchasing tickets to shows and had great insight in local entertainment/attractions only known by locals.

WA is an Uber luxurious hotel at center of the strip. Check in at 23rd level and we were offered upgrade to panoramic corner suite for $150. Gladly took it because the strip view is unmatched. Only downside is the location of the column that directly cuts into the view.

I booked a room at this hotel in February 2020, for one night (6-7/08). Unfortunately, due to COVID-19 my flight was canceled and I had to cancel my trip. I did so on April 24th. The cancellation confirmation email said that I would get a refund within 30 days.
At the beginning of June, no refund had been processed. I therefore called the guest assistance on June 6th and I was told my account was about to be credited. On June 16th, still no refund. I called a second time and the guest assistance gave me a few email adresses to get in touch with. I emailed them all and was told that the hotel operations have been suspended until June 29, and that I had to wait. I was asked to wait and to contact them again at the beginning of July. In July, still no refund. I called AGAIN guest assistance TWICE since then who keeps telling me that I should get a refund within a few days.
We are now July 13th - almost three months post cancellation !!!!!! - and I still did not get any refund. I find it unacceptable that a hotel such as the Waldorf Astoria is unable to refund a ONE NIGHT STAY ! I booked 3 nights at Encore Hotel and got a refund 3 days after cancelling my stay, same thing for the 7 other hotel reservations I had to cancel.
I now expect a refund within 10 days otherwise I will be forced to file a complaint. Rebecca Child s

This hotel offers unforgettable experiences in an unforgettable city. Only 15mins from airport. Luxurious guest rooms and suites offer breathtaking views, a sprawling spa features two guest floors of customized wellness offerings and dynamic culinary experiences range from the Forbes Five Star Twist by Pierre Gagnaire to the Tea Lounge and SkyBar, which serves up handcrafted cocktails 23 floors above the Strip.Even before we arrived, the hotel concierge emailed me to ask if she could be of any assistance. It was then when I mentioned my Girl friend is from France and its her 22nd birthday. I wasn't expecting anything too special but it was a nice touch when immediately upon checking in the really kind check-in agent wished our a happy anniversary and wished her, "happy birthday".
I'm a Hyatt 'Globalist' member and I also booked the stay with American Express Fine Hotel & Resorts. They gave me a double upgrade to a corner suite on the 21st floor. The view was really amazing. We were both blown away as they had a huge "Happy Birthday" balloons along with some other balloons. On the bed they had a "10 Balloon" along with faux roseThen on the table they had a bottle of champagne on the hotel.Later it became our honeymoon experiance. Simply superb place and staff.

What a great hotel on the strip. I ve stayed at man locations on the strip and this is my favorite and absolutely beautiful. Very classy and great staff. Rooms are clean, spacious, comfy and up to the Waldorf standards. Check in was smooth and quick. Location is great and can walk anywhere on the strip. We recommend this spot to anyone or any other Hilton members.

Great hotel, but has some problems. TV didn't work, and smart lighting kept turning in randomly. Water pressure was lackluster.

Location was great. Service is decent. Price was ... meh, but OK for Vegas

Sprung for a 1Br Villa and everything was amazing. The room was very well appointed and super spacious. 1600+ sq feet. I could learn to enjoy this luxury, but can only afford a little at a time!

I Live in Las Vegas. My wife and I love to get away for the weekend and have a staycation. We love everything about the Waldorf Astoria. We have stayed twice already this year and just booked another stay for tomorrow night. Looking forward to another great stay with the nicest staff and great service at the there sky bar for new years.

The Waldorf Astoria is by far one of the best hotels on the strip and one of the best hotels you can visit during the pandemic, especially for people who don't gamble like me.

The uber/lyft pick up is right downstairs. You don't have to walk for 15 minutes to go to one of the 3 lobbies that is dedicated for rideshare. If you intend to uber/lyft to places outside of CityCenter, the WA is one of the best hotels to stay at.

The water closest is clutch. When asking for more towels (for people like me who don't need their room cleaned every day), there's a door outside your room that connects to a space in your closet that allows room service to drop things off, like towels. This was really convenient for me as no one knocked on my door while I was on a meeting call.

Additionally, the separate closet area is huge, probably too large for me. It had a nice space to open your luggage, so a luggage rack wasn't needed. It was nice having a separate closet area so that you aren't in view of your clothes the entire stay.

The bathtub and bathroom is awesome. A lot of hotels, especially if they're old, have showers that leak, but the WA's bathtub was very enjoyable.

The internet is fast - I was downloading at about 10MB/s, which is way more I get at other hotels. This allowed me to hop on Zoom calls with ease.

As a Diamond member, I had $50 of credits a day. However, they only had one cafe open - Zen Cafe. The food wasn't bad at all. My only complaint was that the large coffee cost $10, but it was pretty much free.

When I stayed in Vegas, the WA was at a similar price to the Bellagio, which is dated and gross compared to the WA. If you don't gamble, consider staying here.

We loved our time in Vegas and the Waldorf was a nice part of our experience. The room was very nice with a gorgeous bathroom and wonderful view of the strip. The lobby bar on the 23rd floor is a must! The spa was unreal - the women s lounge is very well appointed with the indoor pool and multiple seating areas with heated loungers and great views of The Strip. The only reason I won t give it 5 stars was our experience at the pool. The first two days of our stay (a Thursday and Friday) the service was terrible. It was fairy quiet as far as how many guests were there yet we waited 40 minutes for our first drinks to be served poolside and the staff never came back to offer us another round. We had to go to the bar ourselves and even there it was extremely slow. The second day was the same. The staff all seemed to have an attitude and acted like they d rather be somewhere else. Just not what you d expect from a property like the Waldorf. We mentioned it to the concierge later in our stay and they cleared the food and drink charges so we were appreciative and they did the right thing. Saturday at the pool was a totally different experience. Great service and staff was much more attentive and prompt. Thanks Waldorf!

wow if you've ever gotten bad or dry food at a Panda Express and asked for a refund etc, its similar to pulling teeth (righteous and condescending) ... (Same new owners as the Waldorf Astoria now, lol) can you imagine if god forbid, you bought one of their condo units (that calls are never returned at etc etc) or stayed in the hotel, and you had any sort of issue? NO THANKS!
was looking at their condos for sale, till calls were never returned and found out who owned the building... again no thanks... The Mandarin was better.

5* hotel with NOT 5* service

5* hotel with NOT 5* service

Nice hotel, with big wonderful room, wardrobe , bath, shower. Very nice swimming pool. But staff does not know how to solve problems in 5 star hotel. We stayed in room 1028 (14-16 July), 15 of July our safe has been broken and we could not take our money. My husband called to front desk at about 2 pm, then we spent 2 hours in a room, because we were told somebody is coming to open broken safe. After 2.5 hours, my husband visited front desk again, seems like our request has been forgotten.... in 30 minutes eventually safe was fixed. But this is a bit strange, why we should spend 2.5 hours in the room and waiting for the person who will solve problem with hotel safe?... After a guy who fixed it told us, that theoretically this problem can back and if we are afraid of it, we can use safe at front desk. Seriously?! I should always use a lift to take/put my valuable items? Is it a 5* hotel service? Definitely not. Also very big disappointment was with Sky Bar. We chose Astoria, because we wanted to enjoy, 1 of our 2 evenings, there cocktails with a view on a night city. 14 of July they ere closed - private party, 15 of July they ere closed for private party, as well, but till 9 pm. In the letter from the manager in our room was indicated - Sky Bar will open for all guests since 10 pm. So, we arrived there at 10.30 pm, but party was go on and people at the front desk could not say anything to us. This is not very good manners - to promise / inform about something and do not keep your words. Not a 5* hotel. If I would be at Front desk, at least I would offer 2 cocktails to a room for free and/or free breakfast. But such things do only people who knows what is the 5* service. Will not recommend this place.

Too many praiseful points to talk about. Valet staff was helpful and friendly. As soon as you enter the lobby, you ll experience this luscious cleanliness smell that you probably won t find at any other hotel in the area due to the fact that this is a non-smoking facility and there is no casino. You won t have to cross through a cigarette reeking casino or walk through slot machines and poker tables to get to the check-in lobby, actually, the check-in lobby is on the 23rd floor. The staff is extremely professional and friendly... you can tell they re proficiently trained to making your staying experience an unforgettable one! And they do a very good job doing just that(they even have a robot assistant).
You ll experience extreme cleanliness and that pleasant aroma throughout, from the elevators to the hallways and rooms.
One thing we were quite surprised was the amount of electrical switches inside our suite. Almost every light can be controlled from at least 3 different switches, in addition to some of them that can also be controlled with the tv s remote control.
Our small fridge in our suite was loaded with all kinds of drinks, including energy drinks, beer, water and champagne, not sure if they offer this in all rooms though, however, every item has a price. So, no, it s NOT included in your daily rate. Before you ll consume any of those items check the price, I would suggest that you rather go downstairs and walk to the CVS which is just about 200 feet from the hotel.

I ll certainly look forward coming back to this hotel soon. It was an amazing enjoyable experience for my lovely wife, my granddaughter and myself. I will certainly recommend this place to anyone.

I loved the subdued atmosphere. My room was extremely clean, with housekeeping service twice a day. The giant bathtub is amazing. You can slide back a wall to get a view of Las Vegas while soaking in the tub! The Zen restaurant was very understated making it visually quiet and relaxing. The food was a destination itself! Definitely a hotel that you can relax and recharge in between the craziness of Vegas.

Lots of good things with one big negative. Stayed in a Villa suite. Big, beautiful, comfortable, with great views of city and mountains. Negative is old TV, can t adjust sound level, called and had engineer come and some improvement but not much. Good hotels now offer Smart TVs with connections to Netflix and Amazon Prime so we can use our own Netflix account and sign in. Not Waldorf Astoria. No smart TVs. Just old Philips TVs. The Zen Kitchen restaurant is very good. One gripe: chef needs to make bacon crispy, not soft and red. I could hear the pig squeal. SkyBar nice, good service, food and drinks. Has Mocktails for non-drinkers. Champagne vending machine in lobby amusing. Service at hotel very good. Extremely polite and helpful. Located 3 minute walk from Aria and loads of shops, Tom Ford, Dolce & Gabbana, etc. All in all a very nice, very expensive hotel with bad TVs.

I am not a huge fan of Las Vegas. Too many people and too much cigarette smoke. After staying 2 nights at another hotel on the strip, we spent our last night in the Waldorf Astoria. What a breath of fresh air...literally. The hotel is on the strip but seems hidden from everything else. Lobby is on a higher floor and seems worlds away from the hustle and bustle of Las Vegas. Even better, the staff recognized my loyalty to the Hilton brand by giving me an amazing upgrade for my Diamond status. Had no clue they put us in such am amazing suite until we opened the door. All I can say is wow! Obviously the standard rooms are not the same but just based on my experience with this hotel I trust their standard rooms are much better than anywhere else I would stay in Vegas. Dinner at Zen Kitchen was great also. Highly recommend this hotel is you like luxury hotels

I feel that Hilton and the owners of this property are spoofing us. It s a dated, luxury-adjacent property with staff more suitable for a chain of fast casual Chinese food restaurants than a luxury resort. Major hassle using my HHonors Diamond benefits during check-in- including some jabroni accusing me of stealing my credit card. The restaurants are purveyors of sadness- overpriced and with utterly sub-optimal service. The pool deck chairs are very old, but the guys working out front (bell hops and drivers) provide excellent service. I d recommend you stay literally anywhere else.

This was my second experience in the tea lounge and it didn t disappoint. Customer service surpasses expectations and they have a great tea selection. They are very accommodating to requests and allergies with alternatives for many. I am gluten free and it is such a treat to be made yummy sandwiches, desserts, and warm scones. I think the value is great considering the service and I always take a goody bag home with treats for later. A great place to sit back and relax! Thanks to the staff and chef for being so attentive!

Opened as Mandarin Oriental, popular with restaurants and popular with Asian high net worth, it has been rebranded by Waldorf Astoria. Astoria is a long-established hotel in New York that was acquired by Hilton and has recently been expanded globally by Hilton. As we are at the top of the Hilton Hotel Group, you will receive excellent service.

Unreal experience all the way around! Valet got to know our faces and would welcome us home or ask if we needed anything as we headed out for the day, need a map, water? Turn down service at night always surprised us with a little something extra each night! One night they lined our shoes up neat and orderly. Another night they folded out night clothes and had them ready on the bed. The view from the 21st floor is excellent! The pool is just for soaking in, not really for swimming and it does close if it gets too windy being 8 floors up. Very quiet hotel as it had no casino and all the guests seem to respect the quietness of it! Staff are VERY friendly, every staff member you walk by in the hall or elevator will stop and let you pass with friendly smile and hello, how are you doing? We were completely shocked by it, we didn t expect them to do that but that is the level of service they are attempting to provide to guests! We are used to staying in Holiday Inns and such where your happy just to have a room! This just blew us away! Location is great, about the middle of the Strip, 100% valet parking only. Only 2 places to eat and a bar on site but plenty of other places just steps away. Can t wait to go back, we will look here first next time we are in Vegas!
