We loved our time in Vegas and the Waldorf was a nice part of our experience. The room was very nice with a gorgeous bathroom and wonderful view of the strip. The lobby bar on the 23rd floor is a must! The spa was unreal - the women s lounge is very well appointed with the indoor pool and multiple seating areas with heated loungers and great views of The Strip. The only reason I won t give it 5 stars was our experience at the pool. The first two days of our stay (a Thursday and Friday) the service was terrible. It was fairy quiet as far as how many guests were there yet we waited 40 minutes for our first drinks to be served poolside and the staff never came back to offer us another round. We had to go to the bar ourselves and even there it was extremely slow. The second day was the same. The staff all seemed to have an attitude and acted like they d rather be somewhere else. Just not what you d expect from a property like the Waldorf. We mentioned it to the concierge later in our stay and they cleared the food and drink charges so we were appreciative and they did the right thing. Saturday at the pool was a totally different experience. Great service and staff was much more attentive and prompt. Thanks Waldorf!
