Would have been perfect if they weren t so calculative, which took the shine off the Waldorf branding. Totally untrue that Diamond members have complimentary breakfast. They work on a confusing credit system and guests end up having to top up for breakfast. Coffee wasn t included yet we were served coffee as if it was part of the breakfast and then charged $8 each. Which would have been fine if it were artisan coffee but not for a batch brew, that tasted bad by the way. They also charged an unreasonable handling fee for handling fee for UPS to pick up a parcel. This was no skin off the hotel, and really cheapened the brand. Disappointing.

Exceptional service and accommodations. This is our favorite place to stay and after 3 visits in 3 different room types, the staff and experience consistently over delivers. Can't wait to return.

I can not give this hotel 5 stars. It was not what I expected. I was looking for New York Waldorf Astoria. I was told the remodel will happen in about a year.
Walking into the lobby from outside i was God smacked by a strong odor. My room also had a odd smell which triggered a migraine. I mentioned this problem to the front desk. They responded quickly and checked my room. She explained the smell. The smell was from the kitchen vents being closed due to the winds outside. She also said that was the same problem that they encountered a few days ago. I was advised to move to another room. We were moved to a room on the 17th floor and it was noisy. We were then moved to the 20th floor and it was a winner, but without a view.
This is not a bad looking place, but it doesn't meet (my) expected standards of Waldorf Astoria.
I will give all the staff 5 stars because they meet the (my) expected standards of the Waldorf Astoria.
The Waldorf has always been on my bucket list, I will have to wait for the remodel to fulfill it.

The service is excellent here. Absolutely adore the hotel, the views, the staff, and the rooms! Room service is excellent, breakfast is delicious. It is in a central location on the strip so you can easily access any shops or casinos by walking, the hotel provides a valet service for your car. 10/10, my husband and I will definitely come here again if we visit Vegas sometime soon.

I was delivering groceries for someone who lived on the residential side of Waldorf Astoria... Or maybe it was Mandarin Oriental? Or maybe it was cheer or some other name the reason I don't know is because everybody I talked to whether they were employed there or living there or just passing through, not get the same answer twice and certainly could not get a definitive answer. GPS didn't know exactly how to get me there, there was no signage for anything regarding the residential high-rise buildings. The employees all they kept saying was "wow man that's going to be difficult... You need to go where... Yeah that's going to be tough you might have to just park right here and walk all the way over there" which turned out to be probably the best advice I would get that day... After talking to several employees of the hotel, or valet, or really anybody with a name badge that cross my path, I had a general idea of the direction I needed to go. But as far as the appearance and amenities I can say that it certainly a five-star place to live I just wouldn't want to visit. The door man, or the bellhop, or the conciergerie or whatever the hell he was for the residential side was more uppity and smug than any resident actually living there. The way he sneered and sighed at my ice chest filled with groceries you'd think he owned 2 or 3 of the $7m suites and wasn't merely a glorified doorbell-and-elevator-button-pusher.
Other than that, great residents, great views, great displays of wealth and luxuries.

We wanted to spoil ourselves for our wedding and I m so glad we did.

Our room was gigantic. Probably bigger than our condo with it s own separate living room area, bar, two bathrooms, a dining area and a separate bedroom tucked away.

Every night we were treated to champagne and chocolates and the service was beyond excellent. If we decide to celebrate our anniversary again, we ll book another stay.

This was our first stay at a Waldorf Astoria and lacked overall luxury we expected. We were told there was electric car parking though when we arrived we were told there was only Tesla chargers. We ate at Zen Kitchen, Pool Cafe and Sky Bar and all were good!

This is me when the chair broke in our room

BEST hotel to stay at in LAS VEGAS. no casino on site! perfect!
The pool is very beautiful, and the lunch was delicious. the rooms are amazing! This is definitely my new favorite hotel on the strip!

I have read a lot of the comment below and I needed to give it a 1 star to bring it back down to a level of reality. Overall was probably a 3/5, out of the hotels in Vegas. The Aria, Palazzo/Venetian, Bellagio, and even the Trump are nicer. People were not overly rude by any means, but they were not sappy nice. The front desk was fine but I had no other assistance, or any other employee talk to me for the entire 4 days I was there. Oh, and my goodness the hidden fees! For example;

I stayed there 2 weeks ago and it was a great price, for $200/night. While there I needed to have some clothes drycleaned for business meetings. In the details it showed that the dry cleaning ranged from $10-17 an item and that was very manageable. Tell me why I recently got a charge for over $250 for only 4 items that were dry cleaned? Well, every item came with a $45 resort fee and a $6 resort fee tax... Which was no where to be found on anything in advance of my request.

The hidden fees were absolutely ridiculous and I will not be returning to this Hotel.

When we need a get away, we choose Waldorf Astoria in Vegas. They ALWAYS take amazing care of us. Rooms are stellar, staff accommodating and kind, and the location is situated so we can get to all the places we want to go. Love their high tea too!

This place is definitely 5 star! Amazing rooms, specifically the bathroom, incredible. We will never stay anywhere else when visiting Vegas. Being a non casino hotel was actually great for me, kept it very classy and we just go anywhere else to gamble. Beautiful place!

I adore this hotel more than any hotel I have ever been to.The service is amazing. The rooms are out of this world amazing. They even give you bath salts to place in your tub. The decor is awsome and for such a Cheap price. I only paid 230 dollars a night.

Got a text telling me my room was ready, 8 hours later I tried to check in and it still wasn't. The buttons that work the lights in the room might have been slick at one time, now they're broken and I had to sleep with the lights on, tried calling front desk, housekeeping, concierge, valet, bellhop (all the buttons on the phone) and no answer at any of them. 0/10, do not recommend. Could've stayed for a fraction of the price right next door and been able to turn off the lights in my room.
**UPDATE** In addition to the room being in disrepair and nobody available to fix it, THERE WASN'T EVEN TURN DOWN SERVICE IN THE ROOM! When I checked into my room, it was 75 degrees Fahrenheit in there and I turned the air conditioning down to 60. Three days later my room had only cooled to 73 degrees. And as you can see in the manager response below, I spent 331,000 points on this hotel, their pittance of an attempt to "make it right" was to offer 56,000 points back, or said another way, "we failed the check-in process, the lights and air conditioning were malfunctioning, there was nobody on site to address your concerns, we didn't even change your sheets or make your bed or give you clean towels--one of the most basic expectations in ANY hotel, let alone an expensive luxury brand--but we feel like we missed the mark by less than 17%" because evidently, as I was told by the manager, COVID-19 is something we just need to deal with (meaning the customer is expected to lower their expectations), and they shouldn't have to tell me before I book that I WILL NOT receive what I'm expecting from a luxury hotel that still charges luxury hotel prices.

The Waldorf made a perfect transition from the Mandarin, keeping all it's exclusive charm and service. The only choice for anyone looking for a bit of civility while still being perfectly located on the Strip!

Excellent place from the moment you step in. They escorted me to my room and taught me how to use the controls.

The bed was really comfortable, I got a couple good night's sleep. My room had a tub which was lovely for a soak. I had a few meals at the hotel and both were great. Check out the twist and Zen kitchen, staff were very friendly and accommodating.

Near the middle of the strip, next door to the aria. Will definitely visit again.

Chef Kats is simply the Best!
Sashimi is always fresh and delicious.
All you need to do is sit down at the sushi bar and have Kats give you whatever he recommends.

We were extremely disappointed with this property. First of all, the customer service from the staff is terrible. Being Diamond members typically you are at least greeted and thanked for being loyal. This was not done. We weren t able to check in until after 3 p.m. even though we were told when we arrived that our room was in the final inspection phase. We were told they would text us when it was ready. We never received a text and waited 5 hours after we arrived for our room. Turns out they gave our assigned room to someone else. Nothing was explained including the need to take two elevators or that you need the room key for the elevator to work. We weren t given water when checking in and the amenities/credits were not explained at all. The staff were not helpful at all and just appeared to be trying to book more rooms for the time period. We sent and e-mail to the general manager and did not get any response. We attempted to get a late check out to accommodate our later flight and were told no even though this is typically done for Diamond members. I have no idea why a resort fee is charged at this hotel because there is literally no amenities. Also, there are no ice machines and you have to call room service to get some sent up. There is also not a refrigerator so don t bother bringing any drinks to keep cold. Overall, very disappointing for a Waldorf property. The hotel is dated and needs updating. Location is good but otherwise we ll stay elsewhere where at least we are treated respectfully and not like we did not belong there.

I m a Hilton diamond but have never stayed at an Astoria location. THIS BLEW MY EXPECTATIONS AWAY! I had heard they re the best and they really are. I was especially impressed with the staff, particularly parking valet and Jocelyn was particularly helpful 2x.

Unfortunately because of Covid a lot of things are closed, but the gym is amazing, and the food is amazing! We got food credits though which is easier because there are more enticements.

Thank you for making my honeymoon amazing! Your staff should be proud (especially parking valet! They are sooo professional and on it!)

Loved everything about Waldorf. It is centrally located on the strip. They made our stay even more special by having rose petals in our room as I requested. Amazing views with impeccable room service and concierge. Macaroons that we had here were one of the best! Large portion and delicious. Bed was very comfortable and the bathroom was just perfect with all the amenities such as bath salt, jacuzzi, bath robes, slipper, etc. Waldorf was everything we would expect in a 5-Star hotel. The spa and pool downstairs was very welcoming and peaceful

Great hotel with just as amazing service. Our room was very nice and well appointed. We used the pool each day of our stay and it was a definite highlight. Every encounter with the staff was pleasant and they seemed proud of the hotel the work in. Dining options went above and beyond. I will always stay at this hotel in the future. I can t recommend this place enough.

Made a reservation for high tea to celebrate a friend's birthday. The reservation process via OpenTable was easy, you will need to secure your reservation with a credit card. The space is peaceful and inviting, a bit of calm where you can observe the strip and skyline. Service was attentive and efficient, and questions regarding the tea itself were answered in a knowledgeable fashion. Although it looks like small portions, this is filling when paired with a pot of tea. I highly recommend you sit back, relax, enjoy a good cup of tea.

We stayed at the hotel to celebrate my wife's birthday, the staff at the hotel worked hard to make it pleasant and memorable experience.
Shout out to Jeremy, he was a great behind the scenes wing man for setting up the little extras for our stay that made my wifes celebration that much more unique and special.

The room 912 was very noisy by the evaluators all the night and morning.
We could not sleep at all.
The hotel should not let any guest live in

An oasis in the middle of the desert. The service was impeccable across the board. My room was everything that you would expect from a luxury hotel. I would highly recommend this hotel. It's serene with convenient access to all of the activities that one would expect in Vegas.

Very nice hotel definitely earned 5 stars great location on the strip and close to NY NY. I had to change the resort from 5 stars to 4 stars as the Zen Kitchen on the 3rd floor is terrible. I've been to the cheapest motel 6 and the most expensive 5 star resorts and every place gives you coffee with your. Breakfast or in the room free of charge. Not Zen kitchen they charge you $10. Also keep in mind I was a Hilton Diamond member and still no free coffee. The food was expensive, the service slow and the portions extremely small.

Sky Bar has a nice view. Drink was tasty, but expensive ($22) like everywhere on the strip. My first choice of drink from the menu was unavailable. This hotel doesn't have a casino and is quite a relaxing environment.

Nowhere near a 5* property. Interior is dated from the previous Mandarin. Room cleanliness could be improved. Holes and scuffs in walls. Electric blinds broken. No power outlets by bedside table. Switches to control various room features have text rubbed off making it a guess to what the switch controls. Misleading website showing f&b options but not open during week.

This has become my new standard for staying at a Hilton hotel. The level of attention and service is phenomenal, and the rooms include all the amenities we asked for it. I specifically enjoy the fact that the main entrance is not on the first floor but check-in is on the 23rd floor. Overall wonderful I can't wait to come back.

The service was exceptional! Evan Brunken made our day! He is a bellman and actually remembered our names. It was a nice touch and we really appreciated it. The hotel itself was beautiful, clean and the staff very nice. The room was gorgeous and had everything I could possibly need. I was in absolute heaven! We plan on staying again soon.

Spacious, nicely appointed rooms. Changing channels on TV is molasses slow. Speaker system no longer works for does TV behind the bathroom mirror. Room either too hot or too cold. Free shoe shines and yoga classes are a plus (not really free since comes with $35 resort fee). Hotel just needs a few screws tightened and a coat of paint but still quite nice. Pour over coffee and many tea choices in room are a plus, as is free coffee on third floor. Fitness center is very nice.

Everything luxurious hotel. I did not have a casino and smoked cigarettes and there were not any outside visitors. From the entrance, it feels like coming to a different city from the bustle of Las Vegas. Recently changed from Mandarin Oriental Hotel to Waldorf Astoria, there are many oriental ornamental decorations. Orchid paintings and ornamental paintings on the walls are wonderful. I got a city view room, but it was clean because there was a big bathtub in the middle of the bathroom and a separate shower room and toilet. Everyone is friendly as if they have raised the level of service. Diamond customers receive a credit of $ 25 per person, and assigned rooms can receive credit for up to two people and can be used at hotel facilities such as room service, spa, breakfast, and restaurant. The location is in the middle of the Las Vegas strip and is great for getting around. There was a scrub salt in the bathtub, and it was great to enjoy the half-bath and listen to the music. As soon as I entered the room, the curtain was automatically opened and the service to name the television was excellent. I would like to come back to Las Vegas next time and recommend it to friends.

We were super excited to stay at the infamous Waldorf Astoria. My husband and I wanted to celebrate so we went all out on our selection of the hotel. We were disappointed. They did not clean our room the second night until 5pm. That means no clean towels to take a shower and our bedding was nice but the mattress was not what you would expect from a high end hotel. The pool was nice and the people were friendly but you can tell they are all in training.

Poor service

Poor service
Lauren at check in was great and Glenn at valet was fantastic. Beyond that the service ranged from 1 to 3
First issue. Requested to have the room made and it took 4 hours. This would not be an issue other then when I was leaving the maid was down the hall. I asked if she could do our room as I had requested and she said no she had to do the rooms that were checking out first. Needless to say when I came back at 2 pm I had to ask again
Second issue they don t have sensors on the mini bar and multiple items had been opened and filled with water even a can of pringles had been opened and put back. Attention to detail is a must for a 5 star hotel
3rd issue ordered dinner at 4:45 thru room service confirmed my name and room number at the end of the order. They said latest time would be 5:30. At 6pm I called to find out where the food was.
No order in system. Lady on phone said are you sure you ordered something. I told her cancel everything and I called the front desk to complain. 20 min later my bell rang they were delivering dinner? After I told them to cancel everything. A manager or something from food service should have called. Not send someone 50 minutes lates with a dinner I cancelled
Both Lauren and Glenn who were extremely nice said I would be amazed by the level of service and the attention to detail. Yes I was amazed by the attention to detail the lack there of

We stayed 2 nights here and overall had a good experience. Some of the perks that were listed for diamond members didn't seem accurate. The coffee wasn't actually free. They give a daily credit which isn't enough for breakfast as pancakes alone are $20. Also the complimentary 2 mile car service didn't seem to exist. They always said they only have one car and it was currently being used by a VIP guest and that they'd probably be back in 30 min. We never actually saw the car though and ended up just walking or ubering. The fridge in our room didn't work. They said they would fix it but never did. Housekeeping was great and kept refilling our ice for us and the rooms were nice. We had a view of the strip and the location is good. They also had some sort of leak that caused a power outage on the 8th floor by the pool. They didn't put lights or signs out and the hallway was very dark. The pool was nice though and service was good as well. They brought around ice and extra towels and did a very thorough cleaning and organization at turn down service. I would stay here again.

My husband and I had the pleasure of staying here on our last visit to Vegas. We loved the first class treatment and it seemed as if the staff wasn t happy unless we were completely satisfied with the service. The decor throughout was beautiful and the rooms were amazing! We enjoyed our stay immensely and we will definitely be back!

For a 5 star hotel this was pretty abhorrent. The room they initially put us in was overflowing with broken accessories and amenities. Curtain from the bathroom to the bedroom wouldn t work so what s the point of having it to enjoy the strip view from the bath when you can t. The vanity mirror was hanging off the wall and wouldn t stay up so again, useless. The room wasn t properly inspected there was a bottle cap left on the floor in front of the coffee area. Drain in the tub didn t work, only stayed open so couldn t take a nice relaxing bath. Possibly (?) worst of all I had to ask FOUR times to get the coffee that was supposed to be ink core in the room. After the 2nd time I was told coffee would just be sent up in the morning, no time given mind you ....it wasn t. Ever. I called after 1040 am and said politely nothing was ever sent. The manager rushed it but it was too late and the sheer ridiculousness of having to ask 4 ?! Times was just.... well ridiculous. The manager apologized for the room and how poorly it was maintained and moved us for our second night to a nicer suite. The suite was nice but it didn t change our first night being uncomfortable and unpleasant. Also again... the damn coffee!! Still no decaf in the room so this time they did send it in the morning. Without asking for an approved time.... instead with the privacy on in the room, they called and woke us both up at 7:30 in the morning with my coffee. Nice but BAD timing. The suite door lock was also broken!! Safety?? No guess that s not a priority.

Went to the bar, Saturday table, wonderful view. Everyone was friendly. Crowded on a Saturday night, as expected, but not overly crowded. I think the little appetizers we had with our drinks were tasty, with a nice selection of cheeses and meats. Terrific nighttime spot, in the bar area or in the lounge area.

Nice hotel but definitely not up to standard for a 5* hotel.
Rooms come with very basic amenities: just one shower gel, shampoo, conditioner, bar soap. Walk in shower is equipped with a regular shower head. Relatively old tv system.
Also, I requested a toothrush as I forgot mine and I had to make 3 requests to get it delivered.
Room comes with complimentary coffee but it's cheap instant coffee! It'd be ok at Motel 6 but not a 5* hotel!
Also I booked a room with strip view but it really only had a partial view of the strip and nothing impressive at all.
And then come resort fees: they charge $45 for WiFi, pool, fitness access but pool closes at 4 pm and WiFi is very slow. It's really a rip off and a way of hotels to make extra money.
I raised all these issues to the front desk. A manager came and basically told that it's normal and I have to be ok with all these problems. Extremely poor and unacceptable response and customer service for a place that pretends to be a luxury hotel. I'll definitely consider another luxury resort of my next stay in Vegas.
