John Sullins Review of Mandarin Oriental Las Vegas

I am not a huge fan of Las Vegas. Too many people and too much cigarette smoke. After staying 2 nights at another hotel on the strip, we spent our last night in the Waldorf Astoria. What a breath of fresh air...literally. The hotel is on the strip but seems hidden from everything else. Lobby is on a higher floor and seems worlds away from the hustle and bustle of Las Vegas. Even better, the staff recognized my loyalty to the Hilton brand by giving me an amazing upgrade for my Diamond status. Had no clue they put us in such am amazing suite until we opened the door. All I can say is wow! Obviously the standard rooms are not the same but just based on my experience with this hotel I trust their standard rooms are much better than anywhere else I would stay in Vegas. Dinner at Zen Kitchen was great also. Highly recommend this hotel is you like luxury hotels
