High tea at the Waldorf was recommended to me from friends. We were attending for a birthday celebration and booked the basic tea for two, with sandwiches, scones, dessert and tea. I have been for high tea in many places around the world and this restaurant is in my top 3 based on food, service and view. The food was wonderful and the kitchen made careful preparations to accommodate my blueberry allergy. The service was very friendly and professional, and we did not feel rushed to eat all the tiers at once. The lookout was a beautiful view of the Vegas strip from the 23rd floor. Overall we had a wonderful visit and enjoyed the birthday celebration. I'd recommend making reservations in advance to reserve a window seat.

This was a surprise gift for our wedding night. We...

This was a surprise gift for our wedding night. We were whisked away from our wedding to our honeymoon without being able to pack all of our things. Upon arrival the front desk checked us in, did not congratulate us and put it off, but did try to upgrade us for a charge. When I tried to clarify, the amount she told me would be the cost then ended up being a per night charge. It felt very misleading, but I left it as a mistake and moved on. Got to the room, great, clean, comfortable. On our THIRD night, we get back to our room after a late night show, only to fin out we have been locked out of our room. So at 1:00am we went up to the front desk. To find out that the girl checking us in had not taken our card information for incidentals. So on the hotels mistake, we are locked out of our room. The hotels (high end) we had stayed in traveling to Vegas had used the card that was used to book the room, but the Waldorf would not. Like I d previously stated, since we were surprised and taken from our wedding straight to our trip, we did not pack any of our things. In other words, I did not have my purse. The only card we had on us was our emergency debit card that we have for special occasions, so we do not keep a lot of funds on the card. We had just put in the cash we d received for this trip. The girl at the front desk LAUGHED. The proceeds to comment that she shouldn t laugh, but it s just too funny. As if our situation was funny? The manager comes out and says there is nothing they can do and would not let us back into our room without the card. Being as it is 1am (2am at home), we cant even call the person who has booked this trip for us. So they drop the hold from over $1000 to just over $500. This puts us very limited on funds for the rest of our trip but apparently have no choice. So we put it on. All the while, being treated as if we don t belong there. The next day, we find that they have taken almost $300 more out of our account than we d agreed upon. So we go back up to the night manager, who tells us their system has glitched and there is nothing he can do to release the funds until we check out (in 2 more days). I m dumbfounded that they can make a mistake and take money and have no way of correcting until the end. So he offers a $100 credit to use for any restaurant in the hotel or in-room dining. I m skeptical, because of everything else that has gone wrong, but accept after asking what felt like a hundred questions to ensure no stipulations. We go eat at the Zen Kitchen which was great. Food presentation and quality was top notch. However, I still felt uneasy about using the credit. At this point, our honeymoon has been ruined. Nothing but stress and issues from a hotel that should have been smooth sailing and would have had no issues had check in been conducted correctly and efficiently. Relieved to finally be leaving, we go to the front desk (at 4am since we have to catch an early flight). I check on the credit we were supposed to receive and verify (AGAIN) the final amount that is going to be charged. Low and behold, no credit was ever put on the account! She asked who we spoke with, we told her the night manager, which she quickly replied, I am the night manager. So we spend the next 10 MINUTES trying to describe this mystery man that had told us he was the night manager. She kept coming back saying this name and describing someone completely opposite of what we had been explaining. She finally had a light bulb go off and explain, OH! That is the other night manager. You must be joking. That didn t occur to you when we said the night manager did it, it was a male, and NOT YOU?? I m fuming but clearly there is not point in arguing as it quite literally wouldn t get through. And any benefit they would give us would turn around and bite us. She proceeds to tell us that she will need to speak with him when he comes in and will then send us the final bill depending on what he says.

Visited here to eat at the Tea Lounge. Very classy spot for traditional tea. Excellent full pots of quality tea. The sandwiches and scones were perfect. Pastries were pretty enough for Instagram. Cool spot to get away from the crazy Vegas strip and have real luxury. Or enjoy your winnings while nursing an afternoon hangover.

This was the worst hotel experience I ve ever had....

This was the worst hotel experience I ve ever had. Do not claim you re a 5 star luxury hotel when your service is horrific, your rooms are falling apart, and you have zero accommodating amenities whatsoever. . .My husband and I decided to take a pre-honeymoon in Vegas as well as celebrate his birthday. I made the reservation a month in advance and called the hotel at the time of booking to confirm that they knew we were celebrating and also that we would be arriving late at night between 2 and 5 AM. I was assured that all would be well and the hotel would be ready for us. I put down a deposit to book the reservation which covered the first night s stay. I called the day of to also reconfirm that they were expecting our late arrival. After being on hold for 25 minutes I was assured all would be ready and they knew to expect us late. After driving all night and arriving at 4 AM (obviously exhausted) we arrived and when we got to the lobby the lady at the desk very rudely said can I help you? It all went downhill from there. Not only were the staff extremely rude about us checking in, they had no idea how to locate our reservation. They were condescending and even tried to overcharge me. When they finally figured out our reservation they continued to be rude and failed to know we were celebrating. Such a horrific start. The room was nice and clean and the view was great. However we were so upset that we were treated so poorly. We got some sleep and when we woke up found that there wasn t even a coffee maker in the room and also the AC had stopped working. Not a good start to the day. We failed to find it accommodating to stay at the hotel for lunch because there is only one restaurant and it didn t even have that great of a menu (but it charged 5 star dining prices). So we left and walked the strip to find food and coffee. Not so luxury. When we came back to the room it had been well cleaned and there was a note from the manager with two chocolate covered strawberries. It was a nice attempt but it didn t make up for the horrific arrival. What 5 star hotel doesn t go above and beyond to make their guests feel special especially when they have chosen your hotel to celebrate. When I selected the Waldorf it was because I was promised a luxury experience. I thought the Waldorf name took pride in providing exceptional service. I have to say, I ve received better service at a holiday inn. That is sad. Our tv also broke only a few hours after our arrival. When I called to have them fix it, I was told it would be a 10-15 min wait. After 45 minutes of us waiting in our hotel room we became frustrated so we called and cancelled the repair. We did not want to spend our night waiting around for our tv to be looked at because it completely broke, when we are celebrating our honeymoon and trying to relax in our room. We ended up watching tv on our phones. Other than the broken TV, many things were broken in the room. Again, definitely not 5 star quality. I chose the Waldorf because I thought I would receive the amazing quality and experience I paid a ton of money for. It was truly a loss and very disappointing. Never will I ever stay here again. Choose the Aria or even the Cosmopolitan over this hotel. It will only disappoint you and probably make your vacation more difficult and upsetting. I will never recommend this place to anyone. Truly a shame.

2 Stars is generous. The rooms were great. especially the Presidential suite that we paid quite a bit in order for some long needed pampering. Covid must have hit this hotel extremely hard. They were SEVERELY understaffed. No Room service was available. No bell men to help with bags, getting dinner or any other meal was a challenge to say the least. We resorted to going to CVS to get things for our room. There was no mini bar, no coffee maker and even the champagne vending machine was out of service. For the amount of money they collected it seems plausible that their services should be better than staying at the Westin.

This is an excellent hotel in would be a top pick for any traveler that is not in Vegas just to gamble and smoke. many of the excellent hotels in Las Vegas have gambling on site which could be a convenience but also allow smoking in the hotel which makes the guest rooms smell. The Waldorf has neither, and was a very welcome home away from the wild Vegas strip during my stay. the Sky bar in multiple restaurants are all excellent quality here, but the prices are high as you might expect. the seating area next to the lobby is very inviting and offers great views of the Las Vegas strip. keep this in mind if you're considering booking a room on the other side of the hotel that are usually more available and lower price, as time spent in the lobby the bar in the restaurants all offer views of the strip itself. The central location and ease of access for taking taxis, Uber, or Lyft make traveling to and from the hotel easier than many other locations on the strip. The hotel is definitely geared more toward couples than families, but the staff is more than accommodating if you do decide to bring children here. The pool is somewhat small and designed more for lap swimming or lounging around, but it is definitely clean in the cabanas alongside the pool make a great place to stay in the shade during hot days. Overall this is a high quality hotel in a great location.

In the end, the hotel charged me $35 parking, in addition to me paying the park and stay rate that included parking. When I called the hotel trying to get the fee refunded, hotel forwarded my call to the Hilton general accounting line, which says it s out of office hour and can t help me. I have to hang up and call Hilton diamond customer support line.

I m further convinced that there s deep issues with hotel s management. Won t come back.

If you had to Vegas this is certainly a low-key way to go. A quieter off the beaten path option though feet away from the strip. The hotel offers beautiful spacious rooms with grand views, a sky lobby with an excellent cocktail selection and beautiful quiet pool. I personally loath Vegas so I really appreciate the serenity offered here.

Sky bar is great. We had reservations and they got us in right away. Drinks are good. The appetizers are awesome. Sliders are great, but the pork belly buns are awesome a must try. The service was great. Definitely recommend if you want a nice time out. The view makes it a great experience.

Went to the salon for my wedding make-up, hair and nails as well. My nails weren t dry even though I told my nail tech and they got trashed before my wedding even started. The hair and makeup was also a bit underwhelming, I had to do a lot of touching up after I left. The spa staff was very kind while I was there but when I tried to contact the salon manager I wasn t taken seriously.

I love this hotel. Been coming here since it was the Mandarin. Although it is centrally located on the strip, you find peace and serenity as there is no casino in the lobby, and the hotel is a little offset from the rest of the Aria complex. Check in is on floor 23, enhancing the feeling of privacy and special nature of this place. The valet drop off feels private and is never crowded.

The building itself is beautiful, with great design elements. That is carried into all of the interior spaces as well. Beautiful views abound from all rooms - my last visit had a great view of the strip.

Wonderful food and service at The Zen restaurant on floor 3. Had amazing breakfast and dinners there. Great bar on floor 23 as well. There is a Starbucks located just outside the main entrance to the building, which is nice.

The look is on floor 8, and is really nice.

Very short walk to the Aria Casino and Shops at Crystal. Convenient tram in Aria takes you to the Bellagio.

All staff I encountered were exceptional.

I highly recommend this hotel, and I will definitely be back.

I went out of my way to this location specifically for the champagne vending machine, which they advertise for. When I got there, they said they couldn t find any coins for it. I came so far to enjoy it, and was told they had no coins and couldn t do anything to help. Don t have the vending machine if you are unable to support it and people come out of their way to go to it. So very sad. False advertising.

What I liked most about the hotel was that it was peaceful and quiet unlike the larger hotels that attract thousands of people to gamble. There are no slot machines or gambling on premises.

The room has three services that aren t usually provided by most hotels, a private valet closet. Free exercise classes and bath salts.

Private valet closet: If you have anything for housekeeping or staff to pick up or drop off, it s placed in a closet that s accessible by staff from the hallway with a special key. Newspaper, dry cleaning or show shine etc.

Bath Salt: Bath Salt are provides and placed by the bath tub that can be placed inside the bath.

Spa: Through out the week they provide free/complimentary instructional classes like yoga etc

Pool side staff weren t very good at coming around to take orders or provide the bill quickly but I understand that things move slower by the pool.

Loved our stay at the Waldorf.

Loved our stay at the Waldorf.

Let s start with the positives:

+ It s quiet as it has no casino
+ it s no smoking
+ Great location on the Strip (part of City Center)
+ All staff are super friendly and welcoming
+ Breakfast at Zen

And some negatives:

- The rooms are a little tired. You can see that the decor is all from the Mandarin Oriental. It s due a facelift
- The elevators are a pain. To get to and from guest rooms you have to take two different elevators
- The pool area is on floor 8 and acts like a wind tunnel. It can get pretty breezy up there and they closed it early one day during our stay

Staying here for a conference. Beautiful room. I love having a real shower and not a bathtub shower. Great service. Great gym. But no where to hang out a beautiful day. The pool is closed for quite a while while they resurface parts. Not smart. Close half and resurface. Then close the other half. I wanted nothing more than to hang outside on a great warm day and read a book. The only place to hang outside would be beside the valet guys.

I was hoping the WA would have upgraded the property. But alas the trashy champagne vending machine remains in the iconic Mandarin Oriental lobby.

Once you go down market, you can never fully recover.

Goodbye Mandarin Oriental. I miss your understated class.

There are a lot of fancy places in Vegas. This is by far the fanciest. It's the customer service. The staff, from the Valet, front desk to house keeping, everyone is so pleasant and seems happy to help you in any way. I especially like the staff uniforms. Everything is tasteful and elegant.

My girlfriend and I stayed here for our anniversary and I have to say it was a pretty good experience. Being a Waldorf Astoria, I expected excellent service and this was largely the case. The in room dinning team was absolutely FANTASTIC, preparing some beautiful chocolate covered strawberries for our special day and writing a heartfelt note. Then in the morning we ordered breakfast and again we were impressed with the speed and friendliness of the in room dinning team. The rooms overall were nice, and the bathrooms had a huge tub which we appreciated. The only things that I believed could have been improved were the pool area was closed, bummer, and parking and the resort fee we're separate charges. Why are we paying $35 for parking and another $40 for the resort fee when we can't even use the pool? All in all this was an excellent choice for a hotel and I hope management realizes what a fantastic job their in room dinning team does!

What a disappointment!! Never come.

What a disappointment!! Never come.

have just finished my stay at your property on 12/24-26. However, I would call this stay a total disaster that I decided to file out a complaint. I am currently a Hilton diamond member and I made the reservation by Amex FHR.

The first nightmare was the shower room in our 1st night room. That door of the shower room was broken and unable to close tightly. The articulation of that door was tilting and it also caused me nervous about falling down any moment. Furthermore, the switch for controlling the shower system was loosening. I was not able to control specifically the temperature, either the water should come out from a hand shower or head shower. I asked for a room change for the second night and you know what's the most interesting part? The second room had the same loosening switch for controlling the shower system. LOL

On the next morning, there were traffic jams and crowded at the entrance of Zen kitchen- the only place in your hotel to enjoy breakfast. It took me 1.5 hours to get a seat and took me another 1 hour to finally see my meal on the table. The breakfast had turned out to be a lunch brunch. Is this the standard of WA property? No immediate response to overcrowded people for breakfast? This terrible phenomenon continued on the second morning, what a shame!

I am not satisfied with this stay and this hotel is way lower than my expectation. I have every doubt about this as a WA property? Maintenance of the facility was poor, the immediate response to the urgency was laggy. We all knew there was still plenty of availability during the Christmas holidays. The holiday season should not be an excuse. You could do way better than that.

I had a highly expectation until I tried to sleep....

I had a highly expectation until I tried to sleep. I was assigned to room 1212, and this was where the nightmare began. The elevator was next to my room, and the vibration and operating noise disturbed my sleep whole night. That is not the worst. As I could not endure the noise anymore and went to the front desk for a solution, the reception Sonia gave me another room 415 after talking to her manager about my problem. Obviously, the whole staff knew about this problem and I was not the only one who suffered the noise all night long.

The hotel was great, beautiful, and the food was delicious. However, if the hotel knew that all the room #12 at each floor located next to the elevator had the disturbing noise, then you should not assign the rooms to your guests. Those rooms can be remodeled as storages or something else like other hotels. Because Waldorf Astoria is a FIVE STARS hotel, isn't it?

The room I stayed was PANORAMA STRIP VIEW ONE-BEDROOM SUITE. It had amazing view and the bed was really comfortable. Valet closet service was one thing that other hotels should do as well especially during COVID. We were able to get extra towels and slipper without contact. However, I noticed that there were someone else's hair between the towels requested for two times. Overall room facilities looks requiring maintenance. Especially doors in bathroom and switches for lights and shades. My allergy on eyes hadn't been triggered in US until I stayed at this hotel. My allergy is usually triggered by pollen from flowers, dust, and some chemicals. The sofa appeared to be not cleaned well. As another reviewer already point out, they wer understaffed. I was told to come to front desk to have extra towels at night(around 11PM) and responded to send it us next morning when house keeper is available since I didn't want to go to front desk. For restaurants, Zen(cafe and kitchen) which is only available at this moment is nothing special in compared to other hotel and all of them are closed very early(around 10PM). For someone who prefer self-parking, just don't go here because you should park at Aria which requires additional 10~15mins walk per way

We stayed for 5 nights and found the service to be excellent. All of the staff were friendly and efficient. It was exceptionally quick to receive our bags in our room, get in-room dining, get elevators, and get cabs/transportation. The casino hotels take much longer.

4-star review because the rooms need improvement. Buttons for lights and drapes were flimsy and required significant pressure to activate. We also did not like the artificial scent that is pumped into the lobby and the rooms.

Overall, it's a nice and quiet hotel on the strip.

Coattailing the good efforts of the work out in by the Mandarian Oriental, the quality of the hotel services continues to decline as the hotel slowly and consistently turns into a Hilton Motel. The breakfast buffet and general offerings are the weakest on the strip. Every corner has been cut, this was a 5 star resort, now like a good wine past it s prime, the place is sour, second rate and beyond it s glory days. Will find another hotel going forward, the MO days have past, the hotel has seen better days.

First time stay at a Waldorf property (been to Conard & Curio) for a Thanksgiving weekend trip, was a phenomenal experience. Starting with an upgrade to the junior suite before arriving, continuing with plenty of information from Susan at check-in, and insider tips from doorman Glenn. The entire staff were engaging and cordial. The hotel is the former Mandarin property and it is spotless. It's location on The Strip next to Aria is perfect for walking to all the attractions. Will absolutely be back here next visit to Vegas.

Honestly, we had very high expectations for two reasons. 1) It is a Waldorf Astoria, which are renowned high-class, five-star properties, and 2) the Mandarin Oriental (the previous hotel at this location that Hilton purchased) was rated the BEST hotel in Vegas for many years. Sadly, we were very disappointed in our stay here. Nothing about this hotel gave you the feeling that you were in Vegas, and, in our opinion, is the main reason you come to Vegas to begin with. The atmosphere was dead, there is no casino (which we knew), only one restaurant, and a bar that opens late in the afternoon and only starts serving appetizers at 5pm. It was simply inconvenient. There is a hotel car that the staff raves about, however, there is only ONE car, for all of the guests in the hotel so your odds of getting it are very slim. We were actually turned away from Zen Kitchen (the only restaurant) for breakfast, because it was a 30+ minute wait for two hotel guests to eat breakfast. We were also turned down at the Sky bar (they wanted to seat us in the lobby) because we didn't have reservations. I don't know of many other places (and we have traveled the world) where you need to make reservations at a bar. Additionally, they give Diamond members a $25 credit per day ($50 per couple) to spend at the hotel because there is no executive lounge or breakfast included (which there always is for Gold/Diamonds). However, you cannot use it anywhere but the restaurant or bar, both of which we could not get into..... Irony? Don't know, but what I do know is that we will not be staying here again and unfortunately it's but a bad taste in our mouth about Vegas overall.

One of the nicest hotels I've had the pleasure of visiting in my travels around the world. It was a quiet oasis in LV. I especially enjoyed that there was no smoky casino, and no casino at all, in the hotel. You can get plenty of that vibe nearby. The hotel is quiet and pleasantly scented. It brought me into a peaceful state of mind as I slipped into my well-appointed room with a tremendous view of the strip. I've stayed in several hotels in the area, and like this one the best.

Overall the hotel is very nice, but the service doesn't set it apart like it used to. The pool area is also getting very worn and service was poor there.
