Greg Parks was so helpful as always. I have bought two cars in the past from Greg and have always had a positive experience. With this current purchase I was unable to leave my house due to a car accident that resulted in a fractured leg. After the accident, several have said that my Toyota RAV4 (which Greg had sold me) saved my life. Because of this, I knew I wanted to purchase that same car again. I called Greg to let him know what I wanted and he drove the car to my house for us to review. After we decided we wanted to buy, he took care of the paperwork and brought everything to my home for me to sign. He made what could have been a difficult purchase very simple and easy.

The service department is one of the worst. Not only was the service writer rude and disrespectful the service manager seemed to not even care of the type of service being offered. If it was possible to give negative stars I would.

Patrick Zills in sales helped me find the perfect truck. I thought buying a new vehicle would be a headache and take all day, but he proved me wrong. He was friendly, courteous and answered all of my questions. We found a Tacoma that fit my needs, took it for a test drive and I absolutely loved it. After I was approved, Mike Mizikar in finance took over. He informed me of the protection and maintenance packages and helped me find one that was affordable and practical. I had an amazing first truck buying experience because of these two. I highly recommend both Patrick and Mike for anyone looking to have a smooth, quick and informative experience!
Also, I was unfortunate enough to get into an accident after someone failed to yield that totalled my new truck. Thankfully Mike Mizikar hooked me up with GAP beforehand just in case something like this happened which has given me one less thing to worry about while sorting out insurance details. Patrick has also taken the time out of his day to check on my well being and offer any assistance if needed. He even let me know what to do to replace the truck when the paperwork went through. These two have gone above and beyond!

Bought a certified used Camry. It had a leaking tire. We don't have warranty on tires they said. 275 dollars to replace it. edit: they refunded me after I complained to Toyota.

Originally, I visited this dealership and had a great sales experience with Sara McMan who is a good sales person and I was able to work out a good deal. However, as of since I've received horrible customer service from individuals in other departments. I've contacted Andrew in finance 3 separate times in the last week with NO call back whatsoever. I even went into the dealership over the weekend and was treated with rudeness and hostility by Yolanda in the front. She wouldn't listen to a word I was saying and was NOT willing to help me with my gap insurance issue whatsoever. Although Sara McMan was a highlight of my experience with Lithia Toyota of Abilene, the service experience has been horrible. Buyer beware: buying a car here seems to be alright, but don't expect anything additional! This would have been a 1 rating if not for the initial sales experience.

We were not expecting to purchase a new car today...just came in for a routine oil change on our 2011 Camry. Wow! After reading all the reviews about John Nichols and actually getting to deal with him, I have to say he is everything the reviews say and some. The Rav4 was a surprise for Christmas!!!! John Nichols and his wife, Sandra, actually delivered the vehicle Christmas morning!! Now if that isn't going above and beyond then I don't know what is!!!! I was on assignment from Austin in North Texas when my 1997 Toyota 4Runner took it's last tour down a dirt road. I limped from Buffalo Gap into Lithia's Abilene dealership, hoping to have the old girl fixed. They welcomed me and my pup into their comfy waiting room for hours as I had no place else to go. When it was apparent the 4Runner was toast the staff helped me to a hotel for the night and offered to show me any cars on the lot that fit my not-planned-for-car-payment price range. They were very helpful, considerate, and friendly during one of my hardest times on the road.
The next day as I was clearing out my belongings from the 4Runner we ran into Chris Ashley. He helped as I fished camera equipment, dog food, and camping gear from the truck we had affectionately called "Dimples" because of old hail damage. We took one last walk through the used lot and happened upon a RAV4 that perfectly fit my needs. Chris was no pressure, hands off, and extremely knowledgeable. When it came time to see if I could even afford the RAV, he worked with us on price and helped me find the best APR possible.
I didn't go to Abilene in search of a new-used car, but I'm sure glad I was there when I needed one. Thanks, Chris! And thanks to the service staff that first long day in the waiting area. The cookies and coffee are much appreciated.
