Wow, where do I begin with my experience here? On the 10th of November, I went to pick up my 'new to me' Ford Edge from Lithia Toyota of Abilene.
I must say that I was ecstatic to be accepted even with my low credit! When I got there and picked up my vehicle and drove it for the first time, it felt amazing. I enjoyed the newer model, louder stereo, the smooth drive, the more powerful engine!

However, that experience would only last for about five days. That's when the trouble began. 5 days after I got the vehicle, I was making an exit
and my tool light came on and my speed and miles suddenly vanished. I wasn't able to tell how fast I was going, luckily I was on a hill so I eased into a parking space safely. When I got there, I turned the engine off and then turned it back on and the whole car shook and a big bang occurred.
Remember, this is five days afterward. When I contacted the dealership, they told me it was an as is car. Luckily the financer hadn't closed out my contract so they were somewhat pressured to fix the car. Which Ford misdiagnosed the problem because there was no check engine or tool light on
when I took it.

Well, the first problem got fixed. But that wasn't the end of my worries, no. I noticed that the rpm gauge was giving me problems and about 3 days afterward
the car just stopped in the middle of a turn, again, I was lucky to be in a parking lot! I was able to get the car to turn back on and was able to drive it.
I figured it must've been from the cold night or something. Anyways, I drove it another day and then the tool light came on, the same exact issue occurred!
Luckily I was able to get it home to where it completely died. My car in less than thirty days is completely out! It doesn't work.

Oh, and that isn't mentioning the fact that they lied to the creditor and told them I'd been working a job for two years when I told them specifically
that it was my new job. I was told that there were new tires, and come to find out that they were worn and weathered pretty good. I was told
the car went through an extensive check, but from what happened, that was a lie as well!

So, I say don't buy a car from Lithia Toyota of Abilene! They very clearly sold me a Lemon. I am taking an L by losing my 1500 dollar down payment
but I am also taking an L on my credit because of the 14,000 dollars they wanted for the vehicle with the interest.

I messaged them, they haven't returned anything back to me. This is a sad situation I am in, but at least I can save someone else the hassle of going through this!

SO DO NOT BUY FROM THIS PLACE!!!

Always a good experience when I go to Lithia Toyota of Abilene have been doing business with them for over 30 years. All the service advisors are friendly and very helpful. My advisor (David Cornnell) told me what they were going to do and said that if they found anything wrong when doing the multi-point inspection they would send me a text to approve or disapprove the additional items. At Abilene Lithia Toyota we had a MOST pleasant/helpful experience !!!!! We had driven our 2005 Avalon for nearly 13 years. We wanted to replace it with another Toyota.... When I told our young salesman, Kyle Corr, what I wanted on a vehicle, the first thing he brought for us to see was a Highlander............. After his education about the vehicle/taking us for a ride/letting me drive, etc., we bought it. Never looked at another..... Kyle, the manager (Keenan Pyatt), the financial people (Jonathan McCutchen and Andrew Elliot) could not have been more professional, helpful, and thoughtful - and patient - with us. They all gave us grand customer service. Can't say enough good about them. Kyle has been most thoughtful to offer his services in our "follow-up" care/questions.

I gave Kenan Pyeatt, GM, a list of absurdly difficult requirements for an automobile for our family. I was pretty certain he would never find what my husband and I wanted, especially at the price we were willing pay. However, when the used minivan showed up on his lot, he knew it was a perfect match for our family and contacted us promptly. When I inquired further about other vehicles on the lot, the salesman (Chris Ashley) answered my questions, but never attempted to talk me into a vehicle with a price I would regret paying. This was our first experience with a dealership, and it was extremely impressive. No pressure, everyone took their time with us and was incredibly patient, and they made every effort to make sure we left the lot with a vehicle and a deal that would please us. Lithia Toyota has always taken such good care of my 2017 Toyota 4Runner. I called on Saturday morning to see if I could schedule an oil change for my car. Not only did I get to do it on Saturday but at the time I need to work with my schedule. Layton Norris was the service specialist and he went over all of the maintenance that was performed and I was going to try and use one of my coupons but he looks to see where my coupon would best be served and it is actually on the next service call. While I was waiting in the comfortable lounge, my original sales man Gary Parks came over and visited about my car and what has been going on with me. I am so glad I chose this dealership and my 4runner..I have never been treated so kindly at a dealership and LOVE my 4runner. Thanks Lithia

My complete experience at the Lithia was great all the way from the salesman to the manager. Raul Rodriguez was my salesman and it was like a breath of fresh air to have someone that actually was knowledgeable about the vehicles. Mike Mizikar, the financial manager, was extremely helpful when it came to getting the right added protection for us. You could tell that he wasn t just trying to sell us plans for a commission but to actually fit us into the the right plan. Last but not least, the manager James Buckner. It was night and day dealing with him than dealing with a different manager at a Honda dealership my wife and I bought her car at. James was extremely helpful and was really trying to work with us while being respectful the whole time instead getting mad when I would say that something didn t work for me. Once again, the overall experience at the Lithia Toyota of Abilene was amazing especially because of these three gentleman and I would recommend anyone to go purchase a vehicle from them.

I love this service department. Dave Connell is very friendly and knowledgeable. I trust his recommendations for my RAV4, with no hesitation. My service was quick and reasonably priced, and their waiting room is everything you could hope for in a dealership.

Brought my car in for low tire pressure, oil change (little early), and general check. My tire was patched as they found a screw in it. On the way home, I got a flat in that tire. I called my service rep, Jacob, and told him. Within in 15 minutes, he and another rep came to my rescue. They put on the spare and took the damaged tire with them. Later Jacob called me and said I could come in and get my new tire the next morning. The "rescue" was above and beyond in my opinion. It was 105 outside.

Since this happened, I heard from a friend that there had been a problem on the same road with nails being left behind by road crews! There was never a question that the tire issue was my fault.

I had a great experience with John Nichols. He was very patient with me as I did not know what i was looking for when i went in and had me a car by the end of the day. He made the car buying experience a good one and i will definitely return to him for my next car purchase and would refer my friends and family to him.

Simply don't recommend. Not sure how they made 'Top Sales 12 yrs running'?? Sales Rep was told before I ever took a test drive what figure I was looking for. Didn't drop a penny, much less couple hundred. Only reason I'll visit is to get part numbers for a vehicle I purchased elsewhere for almost $3200 less than in Abilene. Highly disappointed.

I just bought a 2016 Pruis at Lithia Toyota. I absolutely love my new car! Chris Cogburn was very polite and patient throughout the process and numerous test drives. My only problem with the buying process was with the dealership management. I made an offer on the car, and rather than responding to my offer, they filled out all the paperwork at sticker price. I certainly wish they had been more straightforward in answering my offer. Other than that, a very enjoyable experience. I highly recommend Chris Cogburn if you are looking for a Toyota in Abilene.

I highly recommend this place! Philip Underwood helped me as best as he could, even though he had some personal issues to handle Shan Newton didn t disappoint me.
