It took them 4 months to send my title to my vehicle I had to go back and get 3 new paper tags when I took my vehicle back before I got my title they refused to take it back. Every time we would call they would say we will get ahold of the bank and call you back and we never received a call back. They let us leave the lot with the vehicle before we were even approved by a bank. It was just a bad experience all around.

My husband and I are business owners and have purchased and leased multiple vehicles from Jim Norton. Our salesman, David Dumas is by far the best vehicle professional we have ever worked with. He is an incredible asset to the dealership and of the main reasons we return time after time. Everyone there goes out of their way to provide an exceptional experience, which in today's day and age is rare. The manager Sean is also extremely personable and knowledgeable. I purchased a car from this establishment a few weeks ago. Friday, the salesperson was amazing. He was not intrusive, he was laid back and available if needed. I was then sent to Adam Buckmaster in the financial department to finalize the deal. Here Adam discussed gap insurance with me which I denied. We then moved on to signing all the paperwork. I let my guard down after discussing the gap India s I was prepared to turn down any warranty offered. The deal was finalized and I left with a new car. As my boyfriend looked over the paperwork the next day he noticed a $3,000 warranty on the invoice. I was so confused because I thought back and noticed Adam never once mentioned a warranty! It was never discussed as an option, it was just put on my bill. Now, this is half my fault for not paying attention. However, I wanted to buy from an established corporation like Jim Norton to avoid such issue. I called Adam and left messages the first day. No return call. So I tried him after next day in which he answered. He let me know that obviously it was a misunderstanding.... He emailed me cancellation paperwork that I filled out and dropped off and has not replied to the email I sent later asking for verification of the cancellation. I m extremely disappointed in my experience as my car payment could have been lower and I expected MUCH HIGHER of such a nice dealership. I will not be purchasing a car from here again. I will bring my business elsewhere.

I don't ever take the time to write reviews, but I most certainly read them before I take my business somewhere. I was blown away with how amazing the staff is at Jim Norton Toyota! They are all so friendly, funny and fun to work with from the salesperson- Josh (in used cars) to the sales manager (Jeremy) to Kyle in financing. I don't have one bad thing to say they could improve on. We got out of there fast even with a trade-in deal.
We had to follow up taking the car back to get a minor flaw fixed in the leather and even that was a pleasant experience. I would highly recommend these people for any car buying you have planning now or in the future!

Will Rabe took the time, on a busy Saturday, to show us a Toyota Sienna. We were looking for a white van and the dealership didn't have one. Even though he knew we weren't going to purchase from him, he pulled a silver Sienna up front for us to look at and test drive.
After shopping several different dealerships, we decided that we liked the dark gray interior in the silver, when compared to the tan interior in the white.
Will has an easy going personality and great people skills. My husband and I felt comfortable and relaxed with him. Because he went out of his way and after dealing with some very high pressure salesmen, we came back Monday and bought the silver Sienna. If Will hadn't shown us the silver, we would have bought a white van somewhere else. Will's extra effort helped us find the perfect vehicle for our family.
He called several days later to see if we were happy. And, he made sure we got a $50 gift card that we had forgotten all about.
Jim Norton Toyota was the friendliest dealership we talked with and the sales staff didn't pressure us.

Worst experience with a dealership I have ever had. Set up an appointment 2 days early with Dee Murray to test drive a particular vehicle, kept in contact with her, and made childcare arrangements for our older son. We drove up with our 6 week old from Oklahoma City, texting with Ms. Murray the entire way about options and updating her on our progress. Upon arrival, we were shown the vehicle, checked it out, got the baby carseat buckled in, and were just starting the car for a test drive when the salesman got a call and informed us that due to some "miscommunication," they had just sold the car... Ms. Murray never returned my text inquiring about the situation to apologize or explain. No one could explain what had happened, and they then tried to offer us another vehicle that we were not interested in or buy us a tank of gas even though we had just filled up. I will never go back to Jim Norton, and will discourage everyone I know from using them. Worst customer service ever.

Disappointed with the POST purchase experience, particularly the accessories department. We were lead to believe we would receive a Thule roof rack when we bought the car, but having to end up with the factory version due to time constraints. The accessories department won't give an inch to accomodate a NEW customer who just bought a car and the service package from them. I could have gone with Fowler Toyota for cheaper, but didn't because I believed Jim Norton would be better at customer service. I've learned my lesson and advise others to chase the price on new cars.

My wife and I came into Jim Norton to have the oil change done to our Toyota Camry. We looked at several new and used cars on the lot. We decided to test drive a Toyota Venza for the first time. We really had not paid too much attention to this vehicle when it came out. The wife and I fell in love with it. The Venza XLE loaded is the car for us. With the Camry wheelbase and V6 power, and all the bells and whistles, it rides like a dream. The mile per gallon is also something we were looking for in a SUV type vehicle.
We have a daughter 14 years old that plays competitive softball and we travel all over the middle part of the US during the spring, summer, and fall months. The Camry has served us well but has become to small.
The Venza touring machine is the car for us.
We test drove a used one and thought we would be satisfied with a used car. However, we wanted to buy a new one instead of someone else's leased vehicle. Looking at are finances we could not bring ourselves to buy a car at this time. The people at Jim Norton were very patient and understanding with us. We took up lots of their time and personnel but did not buy a car. We are practical people and do not rush into spontaneous decisions on expensive purchases. The plan is endure one more year in the Camry, pay the Camry off early, give it to one of our kids. By fall of 2016 we would have saved enough to but large chunk of money down on a new car that we are excited to buy, a 2017 Toyota Venza XLE.
I want to thank Darrell Brown - Finance Director - for his understanding and help through our anxiety as well as the Jim Norton new and used car family.
I know that even after this post that we will get a fair price, good and fair service when we buy the Venza next fall.

Right off the bat Blake Smith answered my email and within a couple of hours he found the truck i wanted. Didn't try to get me to buy one with options I didn't want or one without ALL the options I wanted. Did the financing via email and started the trade in process without my trade in and once i brought my trade in to the dealership the deal was done within a couple of hours. When Blake wasn't available Justin stepped in. I'd buy a vehicle a week from them if i could. You can bet when it's time to buy again NEW or USED it'll be a Jim Norton's of Tulsa

Paid $105 to have my truck looked at as the steering pump was leaking. They quoted me ~$1100 to replace the power steering pump and hose ($506 parts, $376.69 labor, then misc stuff). Seemed high, so I looked into the OEM parts individually and it looks like they have between a 35% to 90% mark up on their parts compared to OEM online prices. Pump cost online is about ~$300. Highest I saw was from another dealership charging $375. Jim Norton quoted me $437.
I understand they may need to raise prices to cover their cost but they are also purchasing parts at wholesale prices which will be even lower than online prices. I'm fine paying more money in labor to cover the costs granted the parts are installed correctly. Management needs to re-evaluate their parts pricing.

When I started out my car search I knew I was looking for a comfortable and reliable sedan to lease for business purposes. I narrowed it down to the Honda Accord and the Toyota Camry, and after visiting a few dealerships, I decided on Jim Norton Toyota. Alan Wheeler was my sales representative and I must say, he was a huge help, and very knowledgable. At no time did I get the typical "car salesman pitch" or harassment. Beware of the crooks that run this dealership! We drove down from Wichita after talking to the salesperson on the phone the day before. We were told that they would deal with us and make it worth the drive down. We were told on our drive down that they would place a hold on it and have it ready for us when we got here. Only when we arrived, that was not the case. Come to find out, they already sold it to a guy that would be in the next morning to pick it up. Yet, they kept us there trying to get us to pay more money and sell it to us. Any ethical dealership would have been honest upfront instead of wasting my time!

Buying a car can be a harrowing, dreadful experience, especially when dealing with a sales person who doesn't listen, and is only interested in pushing cars off the lot. I had visited five other dealerships in Oklahoma and North Texas looking for a Toyota Tacoma, and all five dealerships had sales people that made me want to run for the hills.
Then I visited Jim Norton's and Jacqueline was the first person to greet me in the parking lot. She was awesome in every regard. She let me take my time, weigh pros/cons of getting a new vehicle and we even did much of our negotiating via text! It was awesome, because I didn't feel like I was being pressured to make a decision on the spot.
She got me the truck I wanted, with all the extras I wanted, and I was even happy with the price. If anyone is in the market for a new car, I would refer them to her in a heart beat.
I even had to visit the dealership a few days after purchasing my truck to have side steps put on. The guys in the service dept. were incredible, friendly, and made sure it didn't take too long to get the job done right.

Nice selection, seems a bit higher prices then dealers further away. Friendly staff. So years later now I go back there to purchase a new car. Finance department was very deceptive. They did one contract with gap and a supposed free warranty which was $3500. That finance fell through. I was asked to come back and sign another financing contract and was told it was the same terms. To me same terms means the whole deal, not just Length of loan. I asked if it was to late to get my car back before I signed this new contract and was told probably. So I signed this new contract. I came home and looked at the documents on the USB stick they gave me and I no longer have Gap coverage and the free warranty is now $3838. This is why I don't trusty sales people. I was blatantly lied to.

The people I talked to were polite and helpful. However, they weren't as upfront with the itemized receipt as they should've been. They told me that my car would come with a warranty that would cover almost any damage done to it, and when I asked, "and that doesn't come at any extra cost, right?" they said "Yes". I had my mother come in to help me review everything, as I am only 19, and this was my first car. She found out that the warranty didn't come at any extra cost, because it was already included on the bill. It was an extra $3030 just for the warranty, which was 1/4th of the bill. We had it removed and I ended up having to pay what I would say is a very good price for the car I bought.
This is a good place to buy a car, but if you do, make sure to pay attention and ask lots of questions so you know everything that you're paying for.
Note: It has only been a few weeks since my purchase and nothing has gone wrong with my car, but if in the near future my car has something go wrong with it, I will update this review.

I paid 25k for a 2013 RAV4 and did not receive what I was promised!.I found that when it comes to the almighty buck,they are cheap. Kyle Collins even sold me the wrong Extended warranty. I was promised leather seats,which I never got,then was offered for half price. Never got them ! they also sold me a certified pre-owned car with a chip in the windshield,was promised an original replacement, they put in an economy glass instead ! Now I don't trust them at all...How do I know that they will perform the warranty work correctly ? I do not recommend this dealership !

Took our Siena in to have the 15,000 mile service done today (oil change, tire rotation) and a random SRS light coming on and going off. I have limited time to take the van in as it is a handicapped van used by my wife for our son and I am self-employed. Made the appointment for first thing this morning so that I could have it back by 12pm to make the 15K checkup at the handicapped vehicle dealer to check out the modifications and abide by guidelines for the warranty. Got the free rental, ran errands, met with a couple of contractors and finished up some other business and went to return the rental at 12pm, but hadn t gotten a call. The van hadn t been touched. I had to take the van to the next appointment so I left, asking for a call to maybe get an appointment this afternoon. No call. Called 4 times, finally answered but had another customer so they said they would call back.
My time is very limited. I live 30 minutes away from the dealership, and between a very busy schedule for work, arranging childcare for my son and my his various appointments where the van is needed, there might be 1 day in 60 where things line up to get the van to the dealership.
That was today.
No answer to my text and no timely call meant I needed to do something else. Currently, I m about to get back in the van after the service was done at Fowler Toyota. Just got an apologetic call, from Jim Norton, but that is meaningless at this point. Just want people to do what they say they are going to like I have to to in order to run a business.

I purchased my first new car this month, and I can't say enough about how wonderful each and every person is. I would like to mention a few by name because they have really made a huge impact and continue to be there when I call.
Richard Haase (Sales Consultant): this man has gone above and beyond anything I expected from a dealership. I have emailed, called, and damn near had a breakdown over the phone with him and he never flinched. I felt like no problem was unsolvable. If there was a concern he found assurance, problem there was always a solution, if I didn t understand how to operation something he, not only took the time to show me, he sent me web links to access user guides. I can t say enough about his care and compassion. I would tell anyone considering a new car to call this man. He ll only sell you want you need and you ll never feel pressured to make a rushed decision. If you don t purchase the first time at the dealership . . . no problem. Oh, and there aren t any hassling phone calls or emails. You ll get the information you need and you ll have it when you need it. Nothing more and nothing less. Expect the best!

He never tried to sell me random products or services, everything was very much consumable and held some real value. There wasn t pressure to finance any of these additional coverage s.
Mark St. John (General Manager): I met mark about a week after I purchased the car to talk about the additional coverage s I didn t elect when I signed the contracts previously. He took care to go over the options again and ended up making me an offer I couldn t refuse.
To wrap up, if the rest of the dealership employees are even half as good as these guys it would be impossible to have a bad experience or get off the lot dissatisfied. Bottom line . . . if you re buying new, buy Toyota or Scion at Jim Norton! Seriously the best decision I ve made this year.

I have a 2002 Highlander. I had a new oil pan installed in August of 2017 ($650). Found out today, February 2019, that the seal is not good on the oil pan. Talked to the service department and was told I had no recourse given that it's been over 12 months since the oil pan was replaced. The original seal lasted 15 years. The new seal lasted 18 months and is costing $300+ to replace.

I bought a used car at Jim Norton back in February...
I bought a used car at Jim Norton back in February and had a great experience. Everyone was very professional and helpful. They even did an oil change for me before I picked the car up. My only issue was when I went to change my oil today, I had to use an impact gun to get the plug out, damaging the threads. The manual states only 29 ft/lbs is needed to properly torque the plug but it had to of been over 150 ft/lbs. It's easy to do it the right way and it irritates me that the tech was too lazy to use the proper tool for the job.

I traded in my 2008 Toyota Highlander Limited for a 2013 Toyota Highlander Limited. This is the first time I've traded a car for a newer model as I usually go to a completely different car. What can I say, I love the Highlander. Joe Krautheim was the most awesome sales person I've ever dealt with. He was patient, kind, extremely helpful, and I never felt like I was being treated unfairly. As a woman, buying a car can be intimidating, but Joe went above and beyond what I expected. Honestly speaking would rather give no stars because that s how angry we are negotiated on a car and a certain model we were shown a different model than what we were negotiated so we thought oh it s probably the same look by the time we get to the financial part we asked it is the model we negotiated right and for the price we ll come to find out it wasn t and when said that we negotiated the price and the car model we rather leave with that model not a different one seller comes back with a attitude and a tone also stating well your not going to get that model for that price. Never in my mind did I ever felt so angry at a sells person for having such a attitude with my husband in front of my son and I do not tolerate things like that it was disrespectful and needless to say no we will not come back.

Update: Although it took longer than I had hoped to get the matter corrected, I met with Matt Mitchell today and he was more than helpful. They refunded me the money I wasn t expecting to pay on the credit card, let me check out a 2017 Camry to see if I decided I liked it better, and he bought me lunch for my troubles. Even though it was a bit stressful at first, I ended up getting a great deal on a beautiful car. Thank you Matt for all your help!
I have never been so disappointed buying a car. This is my 3rd car I have purchased, first time buying through Jim Norton and I will NEVER use them again or recommend them to anyone. First of all, they sold me the wrong car and I had to rebuy the correct one the next day. They also told me I would get to take my car home that night until after I signed for it and then had to wait 24 hours because they never even serviced it. Not only was the purchase itself incredibly unprofessional, they conned me into signing up for a credit card through Toyota that they comepletely lied about. They said my monthly payments would be no more that $80 a month, turns out my payments are $250 a month. So now my credit is going to be ruined because I can t afford that on top of my new car payment. They are liars and they will keep lying until you sign with them.
