The shuttle driver restrained my daughter in her car seat after I proceeded to tell him to get his hands off of my child MULTIPLE times and he kept holding down her arms and legs with absolutely no permission from me. Filed a police report. They kept making excuses as of why he did what he did. Absolutely unprofessional and made me feel as if my daughter and i were in danger.

RUN....... To Fowler Toyota. The service department manager at JN Toyota is the worst person I ve ever had to deal with! Completely rude and unprofessional. Their department installed a brand new complete drive shaft on my Tacoma at 65k miles. It was failing at 80k from a factory defect in the driveshaft. I was told, that because the part was installed over a year ago.... I was out of luck..... They would be glad to look at it for a fee of a few hundred dollars and repair the part a MY expense. 15k miles on a new SPICER driveshaft, and it fails.... this is a two wheel drive truck that I drive to work and back, not an off road truck. This Dealership should look into how this guy treats their customers..... NEVER AGAIN! I ll drive completely out of my way, to a real service department! I was told by Fower, the the way I was treated was completely unacceptable and not normal for Toyota practice.

We had a very nice no-hassle time at Jim Norton Toyota. We were given plenty of time, plenty of options, and we test drove a couple of cars to compare. Not the type to make major decisions on the same day, we took our leave to check out some other places, and no one pressured us at all. After being less pleased with two other dealerships, we came back and negotiated what seemed like a good deal on a new Toyota Corolla.

Everything happened at just about the right pace (not rushed or too slow), and the finance guy worked with us to get us the best situation for our needs.

Just consider doing some research on the various add-on extended warranties the finance guy will offer you. Some might make sense, others might be over-priced, and it's tough to make a sound decision while you're exhausted from test driving and negotiating. The good news is, you can always accept them, then do research while you're getting insurance for your new car, then come back and decline them if you so choose (or vice versa). It's also odd that Toyota apparently doesn't warranty O2 sensors past two years (if I understood that right).

Overall a great experience, and so far we're delighted with our first new car.

I have test driven two cars there in the last year. This last Saturday several salesman claimed they had someone else going to buy the car I was looking at, in order to rush me into buying the car. I told them I needed to consider my options. The whole thing is a role played scam to entice you to buy the car. Both times I have called back and confirmed the car is not sold! The sales man think you are an idiot and play off each in order to make the sell. BAD BUSINESS

The salesman here was very thorough showing us a Toyota Highlander we were looking for and was very good with the details. We were firm with our expectations and not only him but the manager on site as well didn't push us to buy that day. Other Toyota dealer in the area didn't follow suit and tried locking us into buying same day. I would recommend these guys to anyone they are very knowledgeable and just hands down good salesmen.

My check engine light came on, so I took it in to see what was wrong. I was charged $105 for a similar diagnosis you can at AutoZone for FREE. They said the problem was an intake manifold gasket which costs under $10 and YouTube video mechanics talk about how easy it is to replace. Jim Norton Toyota not only wanted to charge $400+ to fix it, but told me it wasn't covered under their "Engines for Life" program (which was the ONLY reason why I got my oil changes done here). I also bought my car here, but they've just lost me as a customer forever. I feel like I've just been conned. Beware!

I've purchased one used SUV here, great vehicle over the years... Went recently to look around..great experience..test drove 3 cars. Didn't feel pressured. They received info and was mindful of my time. Didn't hold me up. I would highly recommend this lot to take a look if they have anything you are looking for. I haven't purchased yet, but I liked a couple of those I looked at. I will be back.

I purchased a brand new Corolla 3 years ago. Whenever there is a heavy rain, the car gets flooded. After 6 repair attempts, 9 months and $500, the dealership is saying I have to pay nearly $900 to get the car finally fixed because I didn't report the problem early enough. Beyond disappointing to be treated like this on a car that was purchased brand new 36 months ago and only has 50,000 miles on it.

Bought a new car from them. Car started to have problems within warranty period and was assured if that same problem came back, they would honor fixing it at no cost. Well guess what....they didnt honor that. Taking my business to Fowler!

I came to see a car they listed online. Only problem? It was bright red and I don't want a vehicle that attracts extra attention. The online listing said it was gray. They tried to say "oh it must be a listing for a different one" but alas, further inspection showed it was indeed the listed car, but they listed in the wrong color. The salesman we spoke with was noy very good and even thought telling me I was wrong was a good idea. Basically they didn't do very much to make us want to buy a car there. Went next door to Hyundai and had a fantastic experience.

I do not recommend anyone take their vehicles to be repaired at Jim Norton Toyota. They have the worst service and they don't take responsibility for their efforts. Not to mention they were rude and sexist. My girlfriend went in because her stereo's bluetooth function was not working on her Toyota Camry 2012. Everything else, screen included, worked just fine. Only issue with the stereo at that moment was the bluetooth. She took it in for service and they told her to bring it another day at an earlier time, because they needed more time to speak to, I assume, the manufacturer of the stereo. When my girlfriend brought the vehicle home, after picking it up, we noticed nothing was working except for a few stereo functions which were rendered useless because the screen was no longer working and only displayed a message that read "in software update mode. please insert valid software update stick". At this point my girlfriend returned to Jim Norton Toyota to let them know the stereo was in worse shape than when we dropped it off. Before it was just the bluetooth and now it was more. When she complained about what happened they were very rude to her and sexist because they treated her like she didn't know what she was talking about and then treated her like it was her fault. They ended the whole thing by telling her the stereo would have to be replaced and she would have to pay for everything. They couldn't even be bothered to return the stereo back to it's previous condition. If it had been a man complaining they would have at least offered that, but they didn't. This is horrible customer service and this is flat out taking advantage of your customers. I recommend no one ever go there for service if you can avoid it.

Shopping online for pricing on a 2020 Highlander. The MSRP was lined thru with a message saying click here for our beat price quote. Instead I received a text to call or come by. I called and all they can do is quote me the MRSP.

Update:
Received a call from Kelly and she provided me with the information I requested. She was very apologetic for the initial contact and showed genuine concern. We did go to the dealership and purchased a new Highlander. The buying experience was A+

Adam was awesome to deal with. He handled everything from start to finish, even checking in with us multiple times days after the sale completed (unexpected from a stereotypical "car salesman"). Shouen (Adam's sales manager) was solid too. He made me feel like I got a great deal. Both were thorough, patient, and friendly throughout the couple weeks we communicated before and after the purchase date. Kord and his manager in Finance were pleasant and informative as well.

Parts lady s attitude was awful!!! Lazy! Unprofessional! Called about front wiring harness for a Prius, without looking up the item she quoted me $2500 and tried to sell me on slicing wires, after demanding that she would look up the item it was $200. She knows everything... lol

My wife took her 2015 RAV4 LIMITED in for the one year (10,000 mile) service yesterday. She was very pleased. There was a tire light on, and a nail was the problem. All when well. The waiting area was comfortable and the staff was great. We highly recommend Jim Norton Toyota for your auto needs.

These guys are one of the few companies that TRULY understand service. We drove all the way to Tulsa from Joplin, MO to buy our car, sight-unseen, after having a bad experience locally. Brad Mincer was our sales rep; the guy is truly unbelievable. EVEN months after the sale when we have a question, he responds immediately and goes far out of his way to make sure we are satisfied. They took care of us before, during, and long after the sale. We will not buy a vehicle from ANYONE but them from here on out.

Always pleasant to come there. The only thing was that I wish that when I called to schedule, that I would have been told that my Service Advisor was no longer there. I am use to working with only one person and so that was a surprise when I walked in and was taken to the first available Service Advisor. Would have just preferred to have been told before getting there.

Apparently Jim Norton Toyota believes that they can keep a customer waiting for two hours after they've completed the vehicle purchase for a cheap car wash and the best compensation is a month of washes? Hardly. My salesman, Kade over on the used lot was great, too bad the post purchase experience wasn't.

My experience with this offer of cheap washes has angered me that I have given them the one star rating they deserve instead of the three that I had previously rated them. I want to personally thank Mike Freeman for angering me to do this. I would recommend buy a vehicle anywhere else.

I came in to have the value of my cars determined, one for resale and one for trade in. I planned to go from two cars to one since both of my vehicles had over
100,000 miles on them. I got the information I requested quickly and discussed with Gibson my desire to replace the two vehicles with one new one. I told him how much I wanted to spend and having had four Toyotas was familiar with pricing. So in a very short time we found the car I not only needed but really loved in the price range I had already determined.

It was really great to have someone listen to my needs and help me find exactly what I wanted. I am blessed to be in a position to have a beautiful new Highlander. It was fun and easy and I enjoyed the no pressure approach and the fact that Gibson understood what I needed and did not try to sell me something I did not want or need.

We worked with Richard Haase on a purchase. The whole experience from test driving to vehicle purchase went extremely well. We took a vehicle overnight to test drive, returned saturday morning at 10:15. We had agreed on a price by 10:45 and we were done with all the paperwork by 12:30. Fast, efficient, respectful of my time.

I absolutely LOVE the vehicle I got- this is not the problem. The problem is the finance department. Was pre-approved through a local credit union. Bought a car on the weekend, explicitly told them not to run my credit again but they did not listen as they could not find my application in their system. They made me fill out another application and ran my credit again. Bought my car on the 6th of the month. Two weeks later they are calling me asking for more information on the application which I have reluctantly filled out TWICE at this point. Fast forward to the end of the month nearly 23 days later and my car that I traded in has STILL not been paid off and my bank drafted a payment on a car that I do not own anymore and now have to wait for a refund from my old auto loan. Super frustrating finance experience all around. Go to your own bank and get a check directly for your own lending. Do not use the dealership lending.

I was looking to buy a 2015 TRD Pro 4Runner and shopped around town to see who would give me a good deal and be able to obtain one (they are limited and scarce). I ended up completing the deal at Jim Norton and am completely happy!

They did everything they said they would do, it arrived when they said it would and the terms of the deal were exactly as stated. When I went to pick it up, it was sparkling clean and ready to go.

*As an added plus, I'd gone in with a pre-approval letter from a bank. I had a pretty good rate. They actually beat the rate by getting me approved through Toyota Financial. I've purchased probably 25 or 30 cars in my life (I lost count, but it's a LOT) and this by far was the most comfortable deal I've made.

I strongly recommend you deal with Brandon Lewis or Hans Hulsman there and you'll be well taken care of.

I am disappointed in my experience at your dealership. I called the internet sales guy on my way to the dealership to let him know I was coming and that I was pressed for time. I wanted to set that expectation up from the beginning. I am very interested in purchasing a vehicle, my time is limited on when I can come by and test drive and get an estimate on my trade in. He slow played the entire process. He had no appreciation for my time. I even explained to his "Manager" and that guy slowed played me as well. I am a serious buyer and have made several brand new car purchases. I don't have time to play games at all and do the whole slow play crap. Jim Norton has an amazing show room and great selection, but they need to have a better understanding of customers needs. I hate that I feel like I will need to go to another part of town to have my time appreciated.

I have purchased my last 7 cars in the past 20 years from Jim Norton so I would consider myself a preferred customer. My wife was interested in getting a new/used car so we scheduled an appointment with a salesman to test drive a 2017 RAV 4 she had found on their website. The salesman told us he would have the car up front ready for us when we got to the dealership. Showed up for the appointment and after waiting almost 20 minutes they inform us the salesman was out on a test drive with another client, SERIOUSLY!! So they assigned another salesman to us. Told the new salesman why we were there and after waiting for another 20 minutes he tells us they couldn't locate the keys to the car. Then asked us if we would like to look at something else. Very disappointed in the way were treated. Wasted almost an hour and we couldn't even get into the car she was interested in because they couldn't locate the keys. This isn't the first time this has happened with Jim Norton. I had scheduled an appointment a couple of months ago to look at a new Camry XSE, showed up and found out the salesman was out to lunch. To say the least we have taken our business to another dealership.

UPDATE: After my review I was contacted by the GM and the New Car Director to discuss and remedy the situation. They never really explained the concept of warranties all start the day of purchase but they did very graciously purchase an extension of my warranty for me. There were still a few bumps along the way, but I am satisfied with their solution and feel comfortable in increasing my rating to three stars. Thank you to all those involved in reaching this resolution. DW

I purchased a Toyota Avalon Touring edition off the showroom floor in June. The car had been a demo, and it had over 6,000 miles on it. My husband and I were told repeatedly during the sales/purchase process that in spite of the rather surprisingly large number of miles on the car (it s a demo, not a used car?), that because it was a demo, the warranties would start the day of the sale . This sounded almost too good to be true...which apparently it was. I am very disappointed in and surprised by Jim Norton. We shopped here specifically because our daughter has been so pleased with them thru two car purchases. But they were NEW cars, not demos, so there is the difference. We asked about it several times, trying to understand and confirm. We were told that all warranties would indeed be warranties-in-full from the date of purchase. This was confirmed by salesperson Misty McDonald, Sales Manager Luis Flores, and the finance person who is no longer with Jim Norton. In the finance office we asked for something in writing and we were told, It doesn t get put in the contract; it is just Jim Norton s policy. So I took the car in for the first free maintenance, and the service rep asked if I knew that they offer 5 free maintenance visits and I said yes. Then she said so after this one you will have 3 left, because of course the first one was performed before you owned the car. WHAT???? Why isn t this one of the items that starts the day of purchase ?? She got her manager who acted like I was stupid and told me the same thing she told me but that he would authorize an additional complimentary maintenance visit....like a favor, not because it was what I was told when I purchased the car. So within a day or two I contacted Misty to ask for clarification. If the all warranties start from the day of purchase didn t apply to maintenance visits, what did it apply to? Certainly it must mean, as my husband and I specifically asked the finance guy as he was trying to sell us an extended warranty, that the Toyota warranties like 3 years/36,000 miles would be extended by the 6,100+ miles that were on the car? Misty was clearly thrown by this question and went to talk to her manager. When she called back, she said that NO the warranty is a Toyota thing and the car was DISCOUNTED because of the miles on it...no warranties were extended. WHAT??? This is the most blatant example of being duped by a car dealership that I ve ever experienced. The whole buyer beware thing! So I guess we bought a USED CAR off the new car showroom floor. I called and left a message for Sales Manager Luis Flores to call me back, leaving him a voice mail with the details of my concerns, and he never called me back. I m truly shocked and disappointed. The dealership is lovely and has lots of fancy amenities, but when you don t have integrity, what does the rest of it matter?

I got HUSTLED out of my MONEY!! Truck was over priced and in bad condition. Don't trust them for a good deal.

Bought a used Lariat F150 truck about 4 months ago from the used car lot. Long story short I had to take the truck in 3 times in 2 months. 2 of the problems (windshield cracked and dead battry thankfully under warranty) should have been caught by their 186 point inspection.

When replacing the battery it caused my computer to mess up which made me have to re-flash it (cost me $100. They don't tell you each time you take in the car via warranty they charge $100). Good thing I live in Tulsa since I had to make 3 trips back to the dealership.

When the truck was being sold to me, Bill kept hounding and hounding how nice the truck was and what good condition it was in. After having the truck for a while I have found that the previous owners were pigs and did not take care of the truck at all.

Casmetically I can easily put in $1000 to get it back to actually looking NICE on the interior. I won't talk about the exterior.

I gotta give it to the Jim Norton detailing crew though they really know how to clean a car when it comes in trashed. They will do anything and say anything to get a sale. I payed cash and it took them over a month to get me the title. I waited for several hours to process paperwork to PAY for the truck. (Sorry I meant OVER pay for the truck) Don't get swindled like I did, you've been warned! I will never be back to buy a car!

I amended my 1 star rating to a 2 star because when I bought the truck it only came with 1 key. I called JN and they set up a time for me to come in and get another set for free. That was very nice of them.

We have purchased two new Tundra's from Jim Norton...

We have purchased two new Tundra's from Jim Norton and both times were positive experiences. Most recently, my husband wanted to buy me a 50th birthday car and found a corvette on their lot. He made arrangements with the salesperson, sales manager and finance manager to pick it up on my birthday and surprise me with dinner. He gave them a check in full for the car and was to sign a Loan Agreement in the event I did not like the car, we could bring it back the next morning and receive a full refund. I had never driven a corvette and he wanted to make sure I liked it before spending over $30,000. The sales person called the day before to confirm pick up time and said they had a big red bow on the top. He went to pick up the car and a different sales manager was in the dealership. They refused to release the car even after the salesperson and the original sales manager talked to him confirming the arrangement. The different manager was adamant that I would have to come into the dealership and test drive and then sit down to negotiate....even though my husband had already negotiated and they had a check for the FULL amount of the car. It was quite a traumatic experience as we had just gone through the death of my husband's mother and the car was his way of thanking me for taking care of her the past two years. In the end, he chose not to business with a company that does not honor their agreements. We fully believe they had found another buyer willing to pay more for the car and they were trying to get my husband to walk away. They were successful. He asked for his check back and we bought a Nissan 370Z from Nelson Nissan. THAT car buying experience was amazing. Low pressure and true customer service that continues even after the car sale. We will NEVER buy another car from Jim Norton. They behaved unethically and we refuse to give our money to a company that allows one person to over right a commitment that three other employees have made.

The service we received at the Used center was ridiculous. My family has bought three cars from the location, and before this incident wanted to get my car from here. We came in to look at a car, liked it, and went inside to talk about pricing. The salesman told us the car was traded in for $5000 dollars over it's KBB price and refused to negotiate at all. Also, as a first time buyer, I had questions and everytime he made me feel like an idiot for asking the question. After we left to go to Nelson Mazda, who had the exact same car across the street, the salesman or manager (they never identified themselves) kept hounding us. At that point, we asked if he would be willing to negotiate. He said he couldn't do it but the warranty the car came with made it worth it. After that, my dad said no thank you. It should've ended there. Instead, he sent more text messages, one saying if my dad didn't get the car from their dealership, he didn't value my life at all and if something happened, it would be his fault. Try Nelson Mazda across the street. Their customer service is amazing, their prices are amazing, and they definitely don't say you don't care about your daughter.

They tried to gouge me for 800 but I seen through that BS. They over charge for EVERYTHING!! But I will give it to them they are fast at fixing ur car.
