OMG THIS WAS THE BEST EXPERIENCE FROM CHEVROLET IN SALT LAKE AREA. I REALLY NEED TO HAVE A CAR DONE AND THIS WAS THE ONLY DEALER WILLING TI MAKE THINGS WORK.. THEY DID NOT GO THE EXTRA MILE BUT A TON OF THOUSAND OF EXTRA MILES!! My truck battery was dying and would randomly not ...

My truck battery was dying and would randomly not start my truck. I had the problem diagnosed at another GM dealership but they didn t have the battery. After checking with a couple of locations I found that this was the only location that had one in stock. I arrived at the location at 4:35 on a Saturday and pulled in. Expecting them to try to hurry me out the door, I was pleasantly surprised that they took the time to help me get a new battery installed and an my way. I would recommend there service department anytime.

I would give less than one star if I could. I have spent about $16,000 in the last year trying to fix my car (Cadillac SRX), and every single time I have been in, my experience has been horrible. Repairs always take longer than what they guarantee (a promise to be done 2 weeks turned into 2 months), you can never get ahold of anyone who can give you answers, people never return your calls, and for the most part (there have been a few exceptions) the staff does not treat you very well. The only reason I continue coming here is because the next nearest Cadillac dealership is over an hour away. I tried the Jerry Seiner GMC and they told me they couldn't do anything for me and they still charged me $150. As soon as I get my car back this time, I am selling my car and will not be buying any GMC or Chevrolet brand ever again because my overall experience with Cadillac and this dealership over the course of the last year has been so horrible.

I visited Jerry Seiner again this morning for a few things I needed done on my ATS V caddy.. I always look forward to my visit there..Tim and Tim ( the service writers) are very knowledgeable and are always ready to get my car in the bays and serviced to my wishes. I had a scratch on my cue panel and they got that done asap..I also want to say thanks to the actual service guys. The big guy who put the cue screen in and also the guy who did my front end alignment. What a difference. Congrads to him for his accomplishments at Lake Tahoe this past week end.Amazing physical accomplishments. Anyway just a big shout out to the whole team at Jerry Seiner Cardiac..Including the gals that work in the sandwich shop inside the dealer ship. What a great job they do. Big hugs

We had a fabulous experience. Everything was ready when we came in, introduction to service department with follow up appointment was a nice touch. We were buying a first car for a college student and Jeff was great about showing her everything from how to open the gas cap to where the windshield wiper fluid should go.

When I have an appointment, i would expect my truc...

When I have an appointment, i would expect my truck to be worked on at that time, not 4 hours later. It took 3 times having my truck in the shop before they ordered parts. The suspension is also to soft. If I am driving down the road and hit some minor problems it bounces you off the road. I have had the truck in twice for this and they tell me to schedule a road test. Why can't they do this while I am there? I called the service manager hD had to leave a message. Three hours later he still hasn't called back. Apparently that is one of the problems. They won't give me the phone number to call the district manager. If I had known the service was so bad I would not have bought my truck there.

I have purchased many vehicles from Jerry Seiner Dealerships. I am always treated exceptionally by the sales and service departments. My last purchase was from Charlie at Jerry Seiner Cadillac. Charlie was very professional and was able to answer all my questions. Dan in the finance department was quick and efficient. I am always glad I went to Jerry Seiner when purchasing a vehicle.

Edit: Since my initial problems with my vehicle I have since been able to get the car back. This time it has been resolved and is running well. I believe working with Dan Long the second time around made a huge difference. I appreciate Dan and his understanding while being in a tough situation. While I'm not ready to give an overall 5 star rating Dan turned this from a very negative experience into one that had a positive outcome.

My experience so far has been very poor. Communication about my car was very difficult. All I kept getting was that they were researching to make sure it was fixed correctly. When I did get my car back not only was the issue I brought the car in for not fixed but I had additional problems. I had to bring it back the following day. Now we are on to part 2. In the past I have had good experiences with Jerry Seiner. I am hoping that the job will get done correctly this time.

These guys are terrible. Flew in from Reno on a deal that I had started online and when I got there suddenly the deal changed! Somehow they conveniently lost the paperwork and wouldn't accept the forms from their own website! I dealt with one of the managers whose name was Keith and he fit nicely in to the mold of sleazy used car salesman. If only these guys would get it that people use reviews to find who to do business with they would probably do a lot better.

Oh well, I'm sure this will turn off at least a few buyers which will cost them a lot more in the long run. Good luck Keith!

They not only sold me a car I had to fix the first week. THEY BLATANTLY DISREGARDED MY REQUEST TO USE MY OWN LOAN INFORMATION THROUGH MY OWN BANK, INSTEAD CREATED A NEW FINANCING LOAN THROUGH THEIR DEPARTMENT. I am now struggling to get things straightened out, and THEY WILL NOT TAKE RESPONSIBILTY AND THEY REFUSE TO FIX THEIR MISTAKE. The boss is the one who did it and now they won't help.... IF YOU WANT TO GET SCREWED OVER BY A CAR DEALER GO TO THEM!!!!.... THEY DONT CARE ABOUT ANYTHING BUT THEIR OWN COMMISSION. FORGET ABOUT THE CUSTOMERS.... When I called to get things resolved with the salesperson Karen, she said that" she would see what she could do, but no promises" and has yet to call me back. You guys strive for excellence, yet you screw people over while customers let their guard all for more commission on your companies end. I don't believe you would treat anyone differently than that, otherwise that would be discrimination....

Made a service appointment on their website. When I came in they were very friendly and concerned about taking care of my service needs. My vehicle was tended to within a very short time, taken care of and finished in a timely manner. The cost of the service was no more than and possibly less than had I taken it to a standard garage with absolutely no hassle or problems. They didn't try to push extra work, service or product on me and at the time of payment I received a free car wash token. I absolutely recommend Jerry Seiner Chevrolet service to all who want proper and affordable service work with no B.S.

I feel bad for giving the lower review, but I feel it's the most appropriate. Customer service is key. When I offer my services and sell my product I make sure I go above and beyond our clients.

I felt dishonesty in the transaction of purchasing a certified vehicle. I would have expected better service and smoother transaction when I paid their listed full price and didn't even get $1 in discount. 1. Had I not read the documents I would have signed on a document where clearly they tried to slip a note that I the dealer would only cover 50% of any repairs during the certified warranty period, instead of full coverage. 2. I bought a vehicle with a lockable tonneau cover for which I was to be provided a key for. After over a week of not getting it, I had to follow up with the salesperson who told me to go take it to a a locksmith to get a key done, and then bring them the receipt to be reimbursed. There is a few problems with this. First, I shouldn't have to be following up with the salesperson to get something that should be provided to me. Jerry Seiner representative should have been the one to be on top of it and provide me with the keys immediately. Second, The keys and/or locksmith service should've come to my location, and not add to my schedule by having me do all the work to get them done, drive to two business locations and wait for hours. I bought this. I paid for this service. Why did I have to do it?

Let me add, that after waiting a long time to get my reimbursement check, I came back to the office only to find out that they wrote the check out to the Locksmith and not to my name. I called Keith (manager), told him of the situation, to which he responded the salesperson would respond immediately. Haven't heard back from the sales person. So now I am back to being the one calling them to have them fix the mistake. I shouldn't have to be calling!

There were a few other incidents, some good and some bad.

01/27/2017 update :
Still haven't received the reimbursement check, and still have to chase the sales team to receive my check. Did I mention the sales manager said he would have the sales person bring the check to me, but the sales person said he would mail it and couldn't bring it to me (3 weeks ago). Still haven't received any check.

Another thing that bothered me is being told that the sales manager is out sick when I called and 5 minutes later I receive a call from that sales manager (he didn't know who it was), wanting to check up on a sales inquiry I had previously done. So not available to provide service, but available to sell sell sell.

I really can't say enough good things about my experience with Jerry Seiner Chevrolet. From my trade-in and vehicle purchase to their service department these guys do it right. I worked with Teylar in Sales who was excellent to work with, however it was the Sales Manager Keith that really made my buying experience smooth and comfortable. I have had my vehicle in for service through Dan a few times now and they have also been great to work with. Every employee here is super friendly and treats you as if you have been a long term customer even though this is my first time purchasing from them (it will definitely not be my last). I very rarely leave reviews, however since I have had one bad experience after another with other dealerships I wanted to give this Dealership the recognition it deserves. If you are in the market for a new vehicle or service for your current one, do your self a favor and go see these guys.

Kevin is the man!!! I didn't end up buying a car from this dealership because I found something closer to what I wanted, but Kevin was a great salesman to work with. He was very helpful in trying to find a small suv that met my needs that was within my price range. His customer service was outstanding and he answered all my questions without hesitation. If I'm ever in the market for a new or used car again I will definitely be coming back to this dealership to work with Kevin and I will be referring my friends to work with him as well. Lance is the best! He got me into the car I wanted and at the price I needed. He worked numbers and even helped me sale my other car for more then we thought we would get. He is amazing and was never a typical pushy salesman. He only contacted me when he found what I wanted and was always quick to call me back when I had any questions. Walked through the truck part of the lot, no one came out to ask me about what I was looking for in a truck. Spent 30 minutes on the lot, no recognition that I was there, or one greeting.

Tyler Rendek was exceptional finding me my brand new 2016 2500hd Duramax. I appreciate the great service.. Thank you Tyler and Keith..(((( hi boys.... as of today june 30th 2017. I have to say, I will never be back to this dealer and never recommend them them to my hundreds of fellow railroaders... I am still ( completely satisfied with keith and tyler in sales) however this truck I am so proud of....... I bought it 6 months ago, first owner( 0 miles) I brought my brand new truck back to the same dealer( Jerry Seiner) I bought it from for its first service( first oil change and tire rotation) Jerry Seiner put a brand new guy on my 60,000 BRAND NEW TRUCK TO DO THE OIL CHANGE........ omg.... my truck was sent out of here with NO OIL and my motor and turbo and all oil lines are now damaged... Nathan shaw(good man) was trying to rectify this situation until G.M.( Jeff Schneiter ) got involved and told me to go pound sand.... after 3 days they finally got my truck to start up, and according to G.M.(Jeff Schneiter) truck "seems fine" take your dang truck and get lost is his position.......... I will not be bullied by this self indulgent zealot. neither should any of you..... please stay tuned.... if this dealership makes things right with me, I will cancel this post and describe my dealings with an HONEST man....

Took my Chevy in for an alignment the other day and I have to give a HUGE shout out to the technician crew here. I was greeted with a very friendly and knowledgeable tech that got me checked in and comfortable in the waiting room. The complimentary drink from Iceberg was great too.
I was not there for longer than 45min, in that time I saw multiple techs who came in to update me with what was going on and the status of my service. The guy who really stood out was Nathan Shaw. I have not always been a huge fan of taking my truck into dealers to get fixed, but after meeting him and his crew I will for sure be back for all my repairs.

Monday: I brought my car in to have multiple error...

Monday: I brought my car in to have multiple error messages diagnosed. I was given a ride home and told later that night (via phone) it was an issue my warranty would cover but couldn't be repaired until Wednesday. When I asked about a loaner vehicle for the interim, the rep said he wouldn't have one available until after the repair was already finished. I agreed to have the repair done.

Wednesday: I was notified (via text) in the evening that delivery of the necessary part had been delayed and the repair would be completed Thursday. I thanked the rep for the update.

Thursday: I was notified (via text) that the part was delivered late to the shop. I was assured, however, that the mechanic was devoting all his time to my repair. I was told in no uncertain terms that if the car weren't ready this night, it would be done on Friday. I again asked about securing a loaner car and was told "...my next loaner that is scheduled to return is not until Monday of next week and I should have you done well before that. If something does come in either tonight or tomorrow I will let you know."

Friday: No contact from the business.
Saturday: No contact from the business.
Sunday: Business closed.

Monday: I reached out to my rep at 5:00 pm. I was told (via text) the repair was nearly complete and "if everything checks out I can have it done for you by 530 Tuesday evening."

Tuesday: I called the rep around 7:00 pm. I was told the repair was complete but a leak had been discovered in my break line. I was assured this was being addressed and would possibly be remedied this night, but possibly not until Wednesday. The rep said he would notify me when the car was ready.

Wednesday: Received a text around 7:20 pm notifying me of a short in the brake control module. The rep stated he could source a new one locally and it would be delivered to the shop on Thursday.

Thursday: I reached out to the rep (via text) at 1:45 pm. I made note of the fact that this was the tenth day he'd had my vehicle and that while this had been an inconvenience so far, I was seriously in need of a car for the weekend - either my own or a loaner. I received no reply. Around 8:00 pm I showed up in person. After verifying that he had seen my earlier message, the rep said he was "optimistic" about my car being completed this night. When I pressed him about a loaner in case my car weren't ready by Friday, he said that none were available and we'd have to go to "Plan B" at that point. I tried to elicit a more pointed answer from him, but he couldn't elaborate on what "Plan B" might entail; his only reply was "we'll cross that bridge when we come to it." I requested the contact info for the service manager and sent him an email this night.

Friday: The service manger replied back to my email before 6:30 am promising to look into the situation. I received a call from him before 8:00 am during which I was informed that he'd personally retrieved a loaner that was due from another customer for my use. After work I picked up the vehicle.

Saturday - Tuesday: My car remained at the dealership.

Wednesday: My rep informed me in the morning (via text) that my car was ready for pickup; I retrieved it in the evening. After arriving home, I noticed that that center console didn't close properly. For my repair, the dash had to be removed and apparently something wasn't put back together properly. Sections of the assembly designed to snap together were noticeably askew; I was able to force them back close to the correct position, but an obvious gap remains. It doesn't much matter whether whoever signed off on the job was ignorant or incompetent, the end result is the same. After all this run-around, I'd rather live with the cosmetic flaw than attempt to have Jerry Seiner fix it.

I'd been into Jerry Seiner twice before this: once for scheduled oil change which ultimately took four hours while I waited in site, once for a repair that was billed $170 over the initial $400 quote.

Your milage may vary, of course, but I'm well overdue for a new dealer.

Service Dept DOES NOT Return Phone Calls! I bought my 2015 Chevy Silverado from Jerry Seiner in early March of 2017 and it took 3 months and countless phone calls for them to install trailer mirrors that were promised as part of the purchase. Ultimately, I had to contact the dealership general manager to finally get the mirror situation resolved after getting the runaround from the service department for months. I recently experienced issues with my driver assist system (apparently a known issue with the 2014/15/16 models) and made an appointment last week to bring the truck in yesterday. I dropped it off 40 minutes before my scheduled AM appt time and have not heard a word back from the service department. I have called ten times and have now left 6 voicemails with different people and two receptionists have said they would get to the bottom of the situation, but still nothing---I was told everyone is in meetings. No one mentioned keeping my truck overnight and I can't reach a living sole in the service department! I have owned Chevy's my entire life and this is my first experience with Jerry Seiner and can't imagine continuing any sort of service relationship with this dealership. Unfortunately, I bought an extended warranty with my truck and was told it is non-transferrable, which is a shame as I don't want to continue dealing with all the service department issues I've experienced with Jerry Seiner thus far. So disappointed and frustrated! Had no idea they would keep my truck for two days without any communication from anyone in the service department. This is no way to run a business or treat customers.

I've gone to Jerry Seiner Chevrolet and this is the first time that I am responding to this survey, I will review my experience at Jerry Seiner as a whole. Frankly, I have been unsatisfied with the services at Jerry Seiner. When I go to the Chevrolet dealership, I expect that I'm having "experts" work on my car. I can and have done the work on my car by myself but I like having another set of eyes take a look at the car. A selling feature for me is the multi-point inspection that is supposed to be done with each oil change. I have asked about the results of these inspections and been told "everything looked good". However, this has obviously not been the case and it is now clear that the inspection has never been done. I had two oil changes done at around 145,000 and one at 150,000 miles, each time I was told there were no issues. Then my transmission broke down around 154,000 miles and I paid over $2k to get it fixed. The inspection form clearly states that the transmission fluid will be checked in the multi-point inspection. I mistakenly assumed that my transmission fluid had been checked and was good. It is partly my responsibility because I had forgotten to get my transmission fluid changed after 50,000 miles but if the multi-point inspection had been done as promised then I could have been alerted to the issue ahead of time and avoided such a costly repair. It was recommended to me by employees at Jerry Seiner that I have a transmission service done 15,000 miles after getting the new transmission. I did this and then asked how it looked. I was told it looked kind of dirty but not too bad. I sensed that this answer was made up and that the person I was talking to actually had no idea how the fluid looked coming out of my transmission.
The other issue I've experienced was bringing in my car for an oil change and other services a few weeks ago. A couple weeks after this visit my front brakes started grinding from the brake pad going metal on metal against the rotor. Again, it became obvious that the multi-point inspection had not been done because I had not been told that my brakes were getting close to needing to be replaced.
I try to take responsibility for the care of my car. I have trusted the employees at Jerry Seiner to do what they promised and conduct an inspection of the car when I bring it in. However, they have not done what they promised and I have learned I cannot trust Jerry Seiner to service my vehicle. I still have some oil changes left from the pre-paid package but after that I will not return to Jerry Seiner.

Brought my Cadillac to be serviced and was told that the brakes were completely shot. The rotors were so bad that they could not even be turned apparently. The total for parts is going to be about $1000. For a second opinion (since nothing about the brakes seemed wrong. No squeaks or pulsing in the pedal) I took the car to another GM dealer. When they inspected the car, they found that the front pads were at the wear point. The rear pads WERE NOT. They were close so we replaced these. The rotors were fine! They turned them and out the door I payed $450!! Half of what I was told at Jerry Seiner. I feel that I was completely being ripped off and I will no longer bring my vehicles there for service.

I'd give them zero stars if possible. Dropped my truck off at 10:30 because of an issue it was having with the compass. Randy in service told me it would be 90 minutes to 2 hours at most. I called at the 3 hour mark to check and continued to call to try and find out when my truck would be done. Left messages and none were returned. Finally returned to dealership at 4:30. Waited around for Randy and finally someone asked if I had been helped. We went and found Randy in the sales office and he seemed quite put off that I was here looking for my vehicle. He goes to find it and it is out on a drive trying to figure out the problem. So here I sit, 6 hours later, waiting for my truck so I can go home. He had the nerve to tell me that he should've told me to come back another day when they weren't so busy. Well he could've certainly called me and told me that at the 2 or 3 hour mark.

My Sales Person Shane Baker was seriously the Best...

My Sales Person Shane Baker was seriously the Best. He went out of his way to deliver top notch customer service. He made this the Best car buying experience I have ever had. The dealership was so clean and comfortable. I was offered snacks and drinks and was given a one on one demo on how to use my car. I feel so comfortable with all the cool gadgets. Thank you to everyone at this dealership for raising the bar on this experience. It was GREAT.

I am disappointed that I was not told there was an outstanding recall on my new vehicle. I only found this out when I was on the OnStar website. I did receive notification about the recall on October 19th from your service dept, but the person who contacted me does not answer his phone or return calls. Not impressed

My husband and I purchased the Maintenance special which includes 3 oil changes, 3 multi-point inspections, 3 car washes. When we call, we get in immediately and the service is fast, friendly and the quality is excellent. Customer service is #1!

NOOOO STARS ACTUALLY...worst customer service I have ever witnessed in my life. I bought a vehicle back in February (2/25/2020). Found the car on Cars.com showing interest. I had someone from the dealership contact me. The buying process was okay. I kept asking for the CarFax report...still have not seen that (it's 5/26/2020). I met my seller in Twin Falls, ID to sign paperwork and give my seller my trade-in. I was expecting my paperwork within a week (this was PRE-COVID 19) I have still not received my paperwork. I have spoke with and emailed at least 7 people at the dealer...including two customer service reps, multiple sales personal, and I have left my number for the finance manager Grant to call me back four times. I am still waiting on a call. It has been 3 months I still DO NOT have paperwork and absolutely nobody at the dealership even remotely trying to help. Just so you know. I don't write reviews and I definitely don't complain about anything, but this has gone to far. Something so simple that they cannot handle. I am beginning to wonder if this dealership is covering other random things up. Call me Jerry Seiner.

What an absolute pleasure it was buying a vehicle from Kevin Hemmersmeier! We recently traveled from out of state to purchase a Chevrolet Suburban from him, and he clearly dedicated himself to providing us the best service and attention possible. He and his colleagues were honest and transparent, and were without question totally invested in providing us a high quality purchasing experience and our satisfaction. We would make the 600 mile drive to SLC again in a heartbeat to purchase from Kevin and the dealership. We recommend him without hesitation.

I am so happy with my SRX! I had been a committed ...

I am so happy with my SRX! I had been a committed Volvo person (since 1998), so I assumed I'd replace my Volvo or maybe branch out into Audi (because all my buds drive Q5s). But last week I found myself at the Cadillac dealer after becoming frustrated at Audi, although I didn't think I'd actually test drive, let alone buy, one.

But wow ... I feel like I bought a package of safety and support, as opposed to a vehicle. It was a *completely* different feeling than at Audi or Volvo -- our salesperson (Shane) knew the car inside & out; unlike elsewhere, he did not need to check with one of the service team to answer any questions. Most importantly, I never felt like the truth was being tailored to what he perceived as my needs. Instead, it was more like a mini course in technology.

Ultimately, the thorough and patient service I encountered, together with the phenomenal followup plan/ warranty that comes with Cadillac, sold me on the SRX.

Now, after owning it for less than a week, I don't know why anybody who wants a solid and beautiful luxury car doesn't buy a Cadillac!

I recently purchased a 2013 Kia Optima through Jason of Jerry Seiner! I had an excellent experience working with Jason Rich! We worked with Dustin and Romer at Christopher Kia and they couldn't have been more helpful! Jason went out of his way on to visits to help me get the information i needed, test drives of multiple vehicles, and was very patient! Dustin and Romer were extremely helpful putting together all of my lease numbers and information for me so i didn't miss anything! I have been recommending them for the last few months and will be taking my own advice after being in an accident a week ago totaling my brand new Optima! So i look forward to working with all of them again and thank you Jerry Seiner and Christopher Kia for what you do for the community!

Worst experience ever! Do not waste your time, they are unprofessional, unorganized and over all just stupid. They are super nice until they get their money, then it will go all downhill from here. Go somewhere else, Henry Day Ford is amazing and they have the best customer care people. I will be buying from Henry Day next time.
