Twelve years ago, at the suggestion of my "geeky" son, I changed my internet plan to Internode from one of the "big providers". I've never had reason to regret this decision. More recently I changed my home phone, and then my mobile phone plans to Internode, who are now my sole telecommunications provider. I've had very few problems with my services and, on the few occasions I've needed to contact Internode, my calls have been answered promptly by local personnel and any issues have been resolved with minimum delay. I have recommended Internode to friends, who have been equally impressed by the service they have received. I have no hesitation in recommending Internode services to others looking for a reliable, locally based telecomms provider.

Confused by all these positive reviews, as this has been the most horrific company to deal with every single time ive called. Rudeness, sarcasm, long silences to avoid answering questions, and lies that the manager is in a meeting or at lunch (got one of the 2 lines iterally every time) make this the worst company ive ever dealt with. I made an order that was supposedly instant, 2 weeks later I not only have no internet, but the order hasn't even been processed through. I've spoken to 6 different people, all assuring they'll look into it. I requested to speak with the manager twice and was told I'd receive a call back in 24-48 hours....it never came. After literal silence from the customer service person on the phone, who thought long silences was better then actually answering the question, I tried to cancel the order. At this stage I was told it would cost me to do that. So on top of rude and unhelpful customer service over 2 weeks, with each call averaging around 45 minutes, no escalation call back as promised , no internet and lies to help every time I called, they want to charge me!?
Oh and by the way, they charged me twice, and won't refund. So I'm 300 out of pocket, no internet, and told I have to pay to cancel...lucky me. 1 star because I can't make it 0

Probably the only place left in Oz where the counter staff actually exist (instead of a long phone queue) and who are actually network geeks and both know what they're talking about, and can action it on the spot (as long as they've got coffee/red-bull at hand)

THEFT AT IT'S BEST. This internet provider I was with for 6 years and they showed absolutle no loyalty to their customers And every year it got harder and harder to deal with internode and having small problems fixed was always an issue beyond belife let alone the major problems we needed sorted and that was joke in it's self. Sending out technicians to our house and disconnecting our internet because they have sent one two technicians out to fix one problem then end up coming home to no internet but a note and text saying your internet has been fixed when in fact they turn it off. Absolute joke of a company and a joke of a provider. Their internet plans are expensive and don't give the speeds that are advertised and i know you'll never get exact speeds but when you drop below the ball as much as this lot do. I'd consider going else where.

I have allways raved about Internode to friends and acquaintances because of their abilities and was not impressed when a call was taken by someone in South Africa recently. The only criticism I have ever had with this service.

I spent several hours on Friday morning at Internode trying to unlock my mobile phone which was locked in with Telstra,my intention being to conect to a new mobile plan on the internode network. When this proved impossible I purchased a new mobile. The staff at internode helped me throughout the whole process of trying to unlock my old phone and setting up my new one in a calm, positive and professional manner. Their help was invauable. I can't speak too highly of the assistance I received. The whole episode was turned into a pleasant and successful experience . If you are looking for an internet company I have no hesitation in recomending Internode

Popped in this morning to find out about the impending NBN installation in my Kensington home. I was lucky to get help from Nicole. Not only was she able to tell me when the NBN was scheduled to arrive at my place but she was very knowledgeable about the post-installation issues that I was likely to encounter. I left with a very clear idea about the best data plan for my family (supported by data that Nicole was able to access regarding our current and past speed and data usage). I was also pleasantly surprised that the changeover would not incur a significant change to our monthly costs.

I have had very little trouble with my Internode NBN service, but when I have it has been very easy to get onto tech support and have it rectified. No long queues or complicated answering service to navigate. The techs on the end are able to help and easy to talk to. Very happy all round.

Fast and reliable internet service that has never let me down. I recently tried switching to another provider that was cheaper. I guess you get what you pay for because I immediately started experiencing dropouts and slowdowns. When I complained to the other provider they cut off my internet with no warning. Internode were able to have me back up and running within 24 hours.

Still no internet, multiple calls, spent over 4 hours waiting for someone to answer the phone. Emails with no response.

Do yourself a favour and find another company.

Have been a long time client of multiple accounts including our business account, of which we upgraded to NBN mid last year. Recently, Internode disconnected us and by their own admission was at fault and their mistake cost us as a small business a significant amount. The connection after 4 days was reinstated. However a few weeks later they performed the same mistake and so far we have again been without internet for 4 days so far with no resolution in sight, again costing us considerably. Internode would not offer any temporary solutions as far as wireless dongles or anything to aid in getting us by and the onus is on us to work around it as best we can. The customer service representative ive been having to deal with has been a disgusting experience with them having no understanding of the added stress, pressure and cost this has put on us, especially over the holiday period(one of our busiest times) and with them even stating I need to pay more to get reconnected into their "New system"!

I've been a customer with Internode for 3 years. I've had them while on ADSL and now FTTP NBN. I've never had any technical issues with Internode so I can't speak for technical faults. But I enjoy how easy setting up the service is the first time.

When I first joined and had ADSL connection I was given a connection time line and it was actually done quicker which was unexpected I had a really bad time previously with Telstra.

When you move you can pay or you can resign you contract, I opted to resign as I had no issues with Internode.

Calling the call centre is no issues. Although the initial robot dude voice annoys me for some reason. The call centre staff are friendly, I can understand them speaking (there's no echo, or feedback in the headsets they use) I've had some really random yarns with them actually.

I have been with internode for about 10 years. When I first started, I was very appreciative of the technical help setting up the broadband service to my main computer, also to a second computer and to a VOIP phone.
The people, with whom I dealt by phone, were expert on these matters and very patient --- and they had a determination to find the best solution for me. Naturally, I chose internode during the recent move to the NBN. I found the same quality of service.

Internode overall service is excellent. Their in-country customer service staff are very well trained and perceptive, a far cry from other telco providers who go strictly by the handbook. No waiting time !

Speeds are mostly as promised and outages just briefly a couple of times in 2 years.

This is a smaller provider who has done a proper due diligence by truly understanding what their customers require - consistent service at promised speeds, reasonable pricing and most of all great customer service.

Used this service for ~15 years. Was great back in the day. Customer service has gone wildly down hill while prices have gone up! Their infrastructure and web portal doesn't appear to have emerged from the 90's yet. Don't waste your time there are other local providers that do a _much_ better job these days.

Wow! Finally got my refund back, after about 7 weeks. Quick to take your money; slow to return it. Failed to provide a working service connection; lied about the ability to do so with my existing hardware; couldn't get my (second) internode NBN modem/router to function; agreed to a reimbursement and then retracted the offer; lied (again) about refund of money. I must have spent at least 7 - 9 hours on the phone with sales staff, customer service, senior customer service, multiple techies, etc. What a nightmare... Not sure what happened to this company. They used to be the best in the business. I suspect their M&A has something to do with it. Incredibly bad conduct, especially in these fiscally challenging times.

was a great ISP once but since the TPG buyout has had nothing but dropout after dropout. Customer services don't seem interested in resolving issues and the only phone call I ever got from Internode was to try and upsell me on my plans. I've been with them for over a decade and the best they can offer me is 10Mbps which is what I was already getting before they started throttling my speeds to trick me into upgrading my plan. They also don't offer any backup sim for dropouts despite their modems having full support for it.

They've lost my business. I would've been fine up until the dropouts started. Now I feel like I'm paying $70 for no service at all.

Internode have requested I provide my internet selection process once I moved to the NBN. Before I retired I worked in the Utilities business in a moderate sized office. After doing my own online research for available plans, I found it s difficult to find a plan that suited my moderate use, however I was focused on a plan that provided the speed of 25/5 mb/s with a monthly allowance of around 100mb.

One of my colleagues had already some research on the listed NBN providers, which at the time numbered 26. I then asked another colleague who his NBN provider was, and he told me it was Internode and had been with them for 10 years and was happy with their service and Technical Support. As colleagues we were all in the Electrical Engineering Business.

My colleagues feedback was good enough for me.
I then discussed my plan options and cost with Internode. Subsequently I signed with Internode saving myself $30 / mth compared to my previous plan as well as opting for a VOIP phone.

I have now been with Internode for around 2 years and have received excellent and timely Technical Support when needed. I am happy with the speed being delivered.
I am particularly happy with the fact I am dealing with a local Contact Centre although some calls may overflow to a Contact Centre in South Africa.
Call backs and follow up investigations by Internode staff have exceeded my expectations.

I have always found that Internode staff go out of their way to personally deal with my queries and occasional problems. Top marks and here I compare them with three other suppliers who did not ever lift to my expectations.

Can't possibly imagine a worse internet experience. My internet never ever works and every time I call they fix it for 10 minutes then it stops again. Never get a permanent solution, they don't care at all. Would warn everyone against choosing this company. FYI I live within 10 mins of Sydney CBD and my usual speed is 1.17 download. The feedback I've got from them on this is that is a healthy speed, it's normal for service to cut out regularly and that Wi-Fi isn't really intended yo be used wirelessly (???)

I have been a customer of Internode since my Dial-Up days through to NBN/FTTP and I can tell you there is no better ISP for quality of service. They address every inquiry via their own Adelaide Customer Service division and are efficient & courteous.
You can verify their excellent reputation by simply searching online forums.

Inadequate information given when signing up resulting in inappropriate service being selected. After service doesn't care about end result only passing the blame to others and not taking any responsibility. Would not use again.

Worst customer Service I have ever had to deal with. Have issues with connectivity speeds, ordered hardware through Internode to switch over to NBN, they did the switch without sending the hardware, told me several times hardware was on its way, only to tell me a week later it hadn't been sent at all. So a week with no internet in 2017......
Tech support only offer up doing 'ping' tests and reading manuals that you can get from the web anyway, no real smarts in that.
I would have thought tech support from an ISP such as Internode would have the ability to help.

I get between 0.05 and 3 mgbs download (5 - 7 if its going really well).
This is connected with an ethernet cable mind you.
Ive bought new modems, had computer specialists come in and sort out everything on my end and still no improvment. I simply can't and won't wait for NBN to be installed in my area. Switching providers today and never going back to this unacceptable connection.
