I've been a customer for approx 10 years after switching multiple times to different providers over 15 years prior. I have moved several times since first signing up with Internode and every move has been really seamless but what sets them apart is their customer service. Their tech team have great knowledge and also a great range of tools and the right access to service your requests. That's the clincher for me and why I don't hesitate to re-sign with them every time.

Been with Internode for ten years or so. I'm sure you could find a slightly cheaper monthly offering, but you won't find one more reliable, more dependable. Technical support, on the very, very rare occasions you might need it, is quick, thorough, accurate and excellent.

When the NBN installers came they were helpful but indicated that my Fritzbox 7490 was not suitable for connection to the HFC. I rang Internode's tech staff and Peter assured me it was suitable and patiently talked me through the changes to the router settings and setup. I would have really struggled without this support. Thanks Internode.

Very disappointed. Been a customer for many years. Waited for 3 hours for a call back and when they did call back there was no one on the other end. Then they send me a customer satisfaction survey. I know how to respond to that one. Somethings got to change otherwise taking my personal and business lines somewhere else.

Been waiting to be connected for a couple of weeks...

Been waiting to be connected for a couple of weeks now as we had to wait for a technician to come to our place and connect us (where or how I don't know). I had a family member home all day waiting as they said someone should be there - the technician came and I received some random text about needing to get a cabler to connect something with all of this jargon that made NO SENSE to me. The technician had come and connected something and left without notifying the person waiting at home and then to top it off, the calls I made to find out what was going on were put in to a queue and when I finally spoke to someone about it they tell me i need to get an electrician in to connect it all. No remorse or apology provided even after we went to the trouble to have someone on site and their technician didn't even have the courtesy to let us know that they had been. Really disappointing so far.

What I like the most is that I am talking to someone in Australia. Not only that they understand the urgency in getting my internet service back up and running. As a worker and student I need access as all times to work and the Uni. They got my service back up and running on a Friday evening and I was able to use it over the weekend, a very important time.

We have has internode just over a year and we have had to contact them at least 4 times as our modem has stopped working. Been on the phone twice today as yet again it failed. They wouldn't help unless we got a new phone cable and said unless we did basically would be 130 bucks for the call out. So we have done this and my partner rang up and a automated voice told him he would be on hold for between 37 and 57 minutes. No call back option. This is unacceptable!!!!!!!!! We waited almost 3 hours for a call back earlier. We won't be renewing our contract with them!!!! No doubt we won't get a discount or anything for not having Internet for 3 days!

I've been an Internode customer for over 11 years. I'm on ADSL2+ all this time, and still haven't jumped on NBN. It's travelled with me across three different homes. Yes, you pay a little more than others, but I've never had any technical issues that meant unattended, and unresolved for more than 24 hours. I'm only call Internode pretty much, once a year. You're speaking with an Australian-based staff, and they are extremely knowledgeable. I thought to jump on today to leave a positive feedback here on Google as Luke H has just asisted me, and identified someone has been leeching free wifi off my network. Everything has been addressed within an hour, and the phone call was picked up within 30 seconds (granted, it's offpeak period). Thank you again Internode and team.

Professional, efficient and pleasant. Internode organised the repair of the telephone line and everything happened as they said it would. Then Internode checked back with me to make sure my issues were all fixed.

I ve been with internode for the best part of 10yrs and haven t had any issues - internet is like opening the tap, it works and flows and that s all that matters. Sure I wish I had a faster flow but that s not their fault. Hopefully the infrastructure that supports everyone is upgraded in due course...!
The internode team has always been extremely friendly, helpful and quick to act when there have been outages or issues that I ve had to call for.

Internode is the best internet service provider that I ever had, i had tried many but I was never happy with the connection of other provider. Internet drop out, customer services was poor, incorrect charged. Since been with Internode, I have never had these problem, gone over and above to help when needed.

Very disappointed to see that Internode locks it's routers to their service, meaning even after contract completion or buy out the device is essentially landfill if you change provider - this seems petty and extremely wasteful when these devices are perfectly functional and not needed in landfill.

Starting with a little known local ISP in the early years of Perth internet (Mid 1990's 9600 baud dial-up) I've connected with the Big T and others.
From the first enquiry on the phone, talking with a local right through ADSL to NBN now several years later, Internode in my experience deserves the 5 star rating. I cannot rate their help desk however, I've never needed to dial them up!

I have been an Internode customer for 10 years. Exceptional customer service. Had major problems with noise on our line. Telstra's technician was "unable to find the fault" which causes a $100 call out fee, and then their (Telstra) salesperson ran me a day later to tell me if I changed to Telstra I would have no problems. Internode actually sorted it out in no time.

On one occasion we had a billing error. One phone call and I had the corrected bill emailed to me 15 minutes later.

Make sure you don't have any friends who have internode email addresses, After trying to send an email out to organise our reuinion group getogether, all the internode recipients (3%) bounce back. After querying with the company they responded its a " personal email service " and won't handle bulk email. Great work internode , make sure your customers don't have any idea of what is going on outside their circle.
Noted owners comments - My frustration is that the message I send out once a year wouldn't rate as spam using the MOZ spam score or any other measure, and I have to repeat the message individually for internode clients - Our business was one of these at one point and generally rated them highly as an isp.

I had a difficult experience getting a good internet connection to our home because we had to have an NBN cable dug from our house to the street corner 60 meters away. There were issues with the NBN and at times I thought we wouldn't get connected. Internode was there at the start of the whole process all the way to the modem setup at the end. Internode stuck with the process and made it happen & made it easy for us. Very professional and great to deal with.

Internode has always represented the pinnacle of Australian broadband, particularly in regard to their customer service - it truly is second to none. Not only do they offer generous support hours, but their staff are all based in Australia, and know the local conditions and systems. They are very friendly and very capable.
If you call at a time that is busy, the callback system holds your place in the queue, without you having to wait on the phone. This has proved to be invaluable to me on a number of occasions, letting me get other things done in between sorting a problem out or getting advice about various products.
Internode has been my provider of choice for at least the past 15 years, and I can see that remaining the case.

They stuffed me around for a month and a half before a technician comes out and tells us the internet can't be set up. They then send me an email saying it's ready to go. I call them and no one listens to me. They try to charge me for another technician So I cancel and go to a different company.

Then they have the nerve to send me a bill the next day when I was never supplied a service.
They better be retracting that tomorrow or they're gonna have a fun time with communication ombudsman.

I have been with internode for over 10 years. I have found their service nothing but perfect. Customer service is very important to me. I cannot just go with a provider who struggles with joining two word sentences quickly as possible to get me off the phone. Also, actual upgrades and equipment. I have never been given the wrong information or detained on hold, except for the initial phone cal sometimes requires a call back. It did not used to, but that is because their business has increased over the years. I am not sure what instantaneous service people with complaints are expecting. I would happily recommend this internet provider to anyone.

I moved house in 2019 and after research decided on Internode for my new NBN connection, which was fibre to the node. The website was easy to navigate and I found a plan to suit my needs with a modem included. I've been with them for 11 months with no issues. However, when the NBN went down this week I rang them and got the option of a call back rather than waiting in a queue. An hour later Radwa called me and after asking questions, she patiently guided me through a hard reset, and then determined it was an NBN issue, which she reported. She explained everything clearly so I knew what was going on. The NBN came back on later that day, so sooner than expected. I got a follow up call the next morning to make sure everything was working. So, I'm very happy with the service! After using just about every provider for different forms of internet connection over the years with varying degrees of frustration, I can say that Internode have been the best by far.

I have been with internode for over 8 years now and have used their services across mulitiple moves and residencies. The quality of their services, ranging from the actual internet to their technical support to their billing and account people are always top notch.

Their tech support and customer services hours are extended and convenient, and I have always had a good call with knowledgable, understanding people.

Problems are resolved quickly and without hassle, and they are really good about calling back and keeping you up to date on your tickets and escalations.

Their nbn internet service is on par with others as far as I have seen, and they have gone out of their way to tailor plans and offer suggestions on which plan i should be going for (instead of trying to get the most money out of me).

In all, one very satisfied and long term customer, i always recommend Internode for an ISP.

They offer a call back service to ensure you do not spend a long time on hold. When I had a technician come out he completed the required work quickly and effectively. The rates are really reasonable for unlimited access & if there is an issue e.g. an outage in the area Internode has that information up on their site. The tech support is brilliant and customer service is great. I highly recommend you use these guys!

After signing up and paying a connection fee, then being told my service was up and running and good to go, I was informed that they have connected the service to the building and that I would need to arrange my own technician to connect from the building to my apartment (Not even a NBN plan). After discussing this, they mentioned they have disclosed this previously, and when asking for a link to the disclosure, the one provided was a page that didn't exist. Further back and forth on the phone has lead to no internet service and wasted connection fees. In the meantime another provider has set everything up without a hassle.

If you like giving money away, these guys are for you, otherwise steer well clear.

Today i cancel the service with internode. I really really unhappy to the customer service of internode. I was going to upgrade my adsl service to nbn by internode as my unit is available the nbn now. So i called them and talking about any deal of nbn.but they could not offer me any deal for existing customer. Moreover when i asked them is their any extra fee for nbn connection, than they replied their might be extra charge for nbn devices. And they show me no interest to sell me nbn ! Is that how you treat existing customers ? when i call to tpg and they offer me lots and they straight way assured me that for nbn all cost given by government if any device needed outside the apartment. Look like to me tpg customer service are well trained than internode. They know what they doing.
Even i had a credit which supposed to be add on my last bill but i charged full for my last bill which is unacceptable. Last time i called and they guy told me he fixed it but he mass it up. I had to wait long tinne on the phone today to fix it ! Good luck internode with such a wonderful customer service you have !!

Internode is a high quality internet provider. Their help line is genuinely helpful, the person who takes the call leads you through the process of resolving the problem. I have found them to be patient despite my lack of tech-savvy, and they persist until the issue is resolved. This excellent support is the reason that I am a long term satisfied customer.

DODGY. I lost my debit card and was away. Missed two payments (first time ever in over a year) so they cancelled my contract. Now want me to pay a $225 cancellation fee and a new fee to reconnect.

Dodgy and illegal practices :(

Terrible customer service. They transferred the debt to a debt collector and I had to advise them this was illegal as I had lodged a Telecommunications Ombudsman complaint.

Be WARNED. You're better off going with another provider.

The tech support and sales guys who talk to you on the phone know what they are doing. Yes the bar is that low for telcos because the standard is set by Telstra.

If you need an ISP Internode is the go. I also like Internode because they, as far as i know, do not restrict my access to any websites (i.e. censorship unless pursuant to a federal court order) like the others do and have done recently with DNS blocks.

The customer service is wonderful. I have been with Internode for a few years now and have only had 1 bad experience. But a manager called me back and was so lovely and it just was really nice to have that support. Have spoken to so many helpful and understanding people. It is such a shame that the rest of the service is non existent. I lost connectivity for 7 days last week. Lost internet for a few hours yesterday and lost it 3 times today. I am paying for a full time service that I have part time access to. It's not the NBN. It's not the fibre to the curb. It is the actual connection where my modem sends the log in information to the servers and for some reason, gets blocked, rejected or put on hold. I keep getting told that I will have to wait for the connection to link back up. I am sick of waiting! I should not have to go through the trouble shooting on a daily basis! This is beyond a joke. I should not lose internet access for 1-4 hours a day, 3-5 times a week and still pay the fees I have to. I can't even pay because it's done online and I can't GO online!

Switched to NBN with Internode 2 weeks ago. It worked for about a week and a half. Then the service was down for over 3 days in a row. By far the longest service interruption I've experienced with any Internet service provider. Internode was unable to diagnose and fix the issue that presumably affected quite a few customers in NSW for 3 days.

The service installation wasn't smooth either. Waited all day when installation was scheduled. Nobody showed up and nobody notified me that they couldn't come.

Not a good start at all. I'll see whether it would get any better.
