Internode has been my ISP for over 5 years now and I have experienced no problems until recently when my modem start to play up. My call to Internode went straight through to a technician who very patiently talked me through how to fix the problem. It was a pleasant surprise when Internode offered to replace my now ageing and inefficient modem at no cost to me.

Internode is part of iinet. I have found that information on NBN performance and running speeds to be realistic and accurate. Reporting problems is easy and to date action was prompt, they will even call you after a service issue has been completed, to ensure that the problem has been resolved satisfactorily.

When I need to make changes to my internet supply I get quick, competent service from Australians who understand what I am saying and get it done without fuss. If there is a problem, they explain what it is and take steps to fix it quickly. In 20 years I have always had an excellent experience with Internode.

Spent 2 years on FTTP NBN with telstra. I had awful ping spikes that would last a week and relatively high ping as a standard. I averaged around 92mb/32mb

I just switched to Internode last week and my ping has reduced to a level it should be at, speeds are 97mb/36mb, it took less than 24 hours for the service to be activated and usable, the router was configured and ready to plug and play, the customer service was fine. No complaints from me. Spoke to Australian call centers when arranging the plan.

Honestly I'm happy I switched from Telstra to Internode.

I would not recommend this servers provider there internet speed is poor . Customer servers is by far the worst iv dealt . with Optus Telstra customer servers is way better and there call centers are in India .. go somewhere else for internet service providers internode is a ripoff

Hands down the worst nbn provider, blame it all on customers fault when they had done every single thing to try and resolve the matter themselves, and what I paid for the service was just them quoting what nbn had told internode it was the customers problem.

How ever something she could not help with but promised to bring it to the attention of the appropriate team: THAT is PLEASE PLEASE give an option of something in between 100 Giga Bites and 500 Giga Bites as it feels every month that I am being ROBBED as I just use a few bites over the 100 and sometime not even? Please please give us something in between?? I am certain that would make your customers much happier!

I have been with Internode for over 20 years with good reason. Staff are unfailingly nice. They always find the cause of my problems (my computer or modem, not Internode) and fixed them immediately when they can. They have offered me better pricing as soon as it becomes available. Could not ask for a better ISP.

Internode were once the most competitive ISP around. Now they are an expensive behemoth. They do not provide a competitive rate for the fast internet speeds I need to do my job, and still charge a ludicrous cancellation fee to someone that has been a customer for over 12 years, despite the fact that I never authorized a contract with a cancellation fee.

Charging for adsl and also NBN, then stating a refund should be done, since then, no refund arrived. Guys, I just had to make a 2hr calculation because you are not even able to have your staff things sorted properly. When I owe you money, you stand on my door pretty fast, but now that you owe money. Silence is the key. We see how this goes on. proof has been mailed to you guys now. Also with the request to explain yourself.

I've just recently moved. The process to transfer account ownership to my now-former housemate was clearly explained to me over the phone and relevant forms were then emailed through to me. In addition to that, the process to set up a new account for my new address was seamless. The combination of telephone conversations and emails allowed me to be kept up-to-date with how things were progressing. The downfall is that it can take up to 2 weeks to have the connection active (I'm currently on day 5 since setting up the new account). That could very well be out of Internode's control though. All-in-all, I'm very pleased with the customer experience up to this point.

Immense (to me) difficulties to configure a new NBN modem - the old one was killed by a lightning strike in the thunderstorm on Thursday 23rd of April. It took about 5 phone calls and about 6 hours to resolve. Each time until the last call, everything seemed to be working properly, we'd hang up and then the modem would drop out. All the Tech Support people were incredibly patient and understanding and I was very comforted by their demeanor. The problem was eventually traced to a problem deep within my computer. Nothing to do with Internode equipment or systems.

I've been a customer of Internode for 5+ years and...

I've been a customer of Internode for 5+ years and every time I finish a call with their customer service people, I am amazed by the professionalism and courtesy. Questions are answered with clear information and patience. Thank you to Mark for his gracious help with updating the password to my modem as was recommended by Internode for increasing security. A friend's brother recommended Internode and I am sure glad I took his advice. By a long shot, they provide the best customer service experience. Calls are answered within minutes (many "help-lines" have waiting times of 20 minutes). Unfortunately too many other organisations /businesses don't seem to care their "customer no-service" people are disinterested and abrupt. The care and courtesy with which Internode people treat their customers demonstrates they appreciate the custom. They deserve 10 stars for their excellence.

They should re name the company the DROP OUT KINGS unbelievable how this company can charge a monthly fee with the amount of drop outs it has. I don t even bother to ring the help desk anymore because nothing or anybody can help

Internode isp started out OK but now hopeless when we want internet its too slow down as low as 1.7Mbps and right now can't achieve 5Mbps
Talked to them several times all very good but NO change paying for 25Mbps so have to go else where.

Absolutely shocking speeds and service isnt much better. Signed up with the belief I would have 10-20mbps to find out after I had made payment and been connected that the max speed is actually 4mpbs, however its rare we get over 2. Avoid like the plague

I believe Internode is good truly good, but just like every other Company you have people that will go out of there way to help you, I had this experience the other day with a lovely Lady, after an experience with a not so helpful Lady, but that happens in all Companies.
I would recommend Internode to anybody for over all my experience with this Company has been good, that good I have recommended 2 friends to them and they are very happy.
I believe they are reliable, helpful and honest.
I also believe if you tried them yourself you would find these people to be the same as I do, I would recommend these people and there Company to all.

I've been with Internode for nearly 15 years, I've seen them have the best customer service to now having some of the worst. I used to recommend them, now I'd recommend literally anyone else. I was just on the phone with 2 different customer support members (with wait times of 30-45 mins each, I remember when Internode didn't have wait times) to get a new password because it had been reset, the first one kept going on about me needing to do a virus scan, I said my phone is 3 days old and my PC has no virus' because I scan it every day, 20 seconds later he told me I need to do a virus scan, he didn't listen, he didn't care about me he kept going on about "Internode's reputation", mate, Internode now has the worst reputation. I kept going back and forth with this guy who had no idea what he was on about and eventually hung up, I called again and the second customer service rep I had had it fixed in less than 2 mins. That other guy was pathetic, I wish I could have been bothered remembering his name because he needs to be fired if he can't do his job.

I have been with Internode for eight years and have always been impressed by the people on the other end of the line. If I have a problem, the issue is usually sorted out with one phone call. If the issue was beyond Internode's control, the issue was always followed up by Internode and I was kept informed of the progress until it was sorted. Definitely recommend Internode as a Service Provider.

My transition to NBN for each in 2018 was seamless and my internet provision before and since, has always been good. Internode's support has always been excellent, whenever I have had tech or account issues. I highly recommend Internode for knowledge, professionalism, efficiency and expediency and affordability.

I have been using Internode as my ISP for over 10 years now.... From slow ADSL1 on a RIM line to FTTC NBN. I have moved 3 times in the last 10 years and Internode have always been first to : Make sure my order is correct, Follow up several times with calls and texts during activation and relocation, and go that extra little step when my line went wonky and they spent time diagnosing everything.
It is always a joy to hear a good Aussie accent on the other end of the line too! Well done to Internode keeping jobs onshore! Okay, that is a little racist - but I do really enjoy not having to repeat my needs half a dozen times or asking that person with the thick Indian accent to repeat themselves again and again..Keep your Call Centres Aussie! Yes!
The Internode staff have always been courteous, knowledgeable, and prepared to go that extra little step to keep me happy.
There are slightly cheaper priced NBN providers out there - and I have called them for quotes etc - but none have made me think of moving away from Internode... They have just looked after my needs VERY well!

But if you live in 2010 or later I would not recommend, or you could lose a great deal of financial opportunity.

Terrible provider. Support is anything but helpful. Billing seems chaotic and they can't get it right. Not even to mention the archaic Internet speeds. Some third world countries provide better connectivity these days.

BRILLIANT!!! A telco provider who actually provides service!! We had an Optus ADSL whcih was delivering a blistering 3Mb/sec. They couldn't fix it and told us that we could connect to NBN but it would take 4-6 weeks. Telstra was going to take 6-8 weeks. Called Internode and we were connected in 5 days! BRILLIANT !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I love how they are Aussie based and always there to provide the best Customer service. Just called them yesterday to see if they could help me with upgrading my Internet plan before I switched to another provider and they were more than happy to give a great offer. I had to contact Internode recently for some technical assistance and was very fortunate to get Ilhaam, Customer Support Officer. She was extremely understanding and patient with me as I have very little technical knowledge. She went step by step through the process and even said she would phone me back to assist further - which she did. Such professional staff members are a real credit to the organisation and deserve to be commended. It is worth adding that service of this nature certainly engenders goodwill with customers. I seriously have never had any reason to consider going elsewhere. The pricing is fair, and comparable. The customer service is above and beyond; on the rare occasions I have needed to call them the helpdesk staff take the time needed to determine the nature of any faults and follow through on fixing it, and make sure they provide the right advice. Couldn t recommend Internode highly enough.
