EDIT: The original review I posted (below) has been addressed by the staff at Imperial Ford. The additional "$250 of work" I'd mentioned was completed for me at NO CHARGE to compensate me for my troubles. Special thank you to Jen for reaching out to me and organizing this remedy, and to Justin for completing the work. I appreciate your help in addressing my concern.

ORIGINAL REVIEW: I bought my car here in 2013 and bring it back here for all of my maintenance (even though I've since moved to Boston). I thought it would be good to stay loyal to Imperial throughout the life of my vehicle. I was sorely mistaken.

Imperial Ford has screwed me (or tried to screw me) on multiple occasions. It just took me too long to realize it. Fool me once, shame on you, fool me twice, shame on me. I will not be letting Imperial Ford take advantage of me and my inexperience with car maintenance anymore.

Most recently, I brought it in for an annual inspection sticker and was told I would need to have about $400 of work done in order to pass (my car is only 2 years old with 40k miles). I agreed to have the work done and THEY STILL FAILED MY VEHICLE. Now they tell me I need to have another $250 of work done to get the big red R sticker off my car.

That's just the most recent problem I've had with them. I won't be giving them my business ever again.

From the second I walked in they were great to me. Tom D is an amazing guy and a wonderful salesman to work with. He was kind, patient and I would recommend to anyone to go see him! Everyone in the dealership was super helpful (Kim & Mike) as well as understanding and made buying a new car seamless. Given the stress of being in an accident and my previous vehicle being totaled visiting imperial couldn t have been a better decision/process. Thank you for my new Traverse, we love it!!

Wasn't really impressed with the prices or the people. They have a large inventory but yet nothing worth the price in my oppionion. Ended up buying the same truck 2 years newer 3 trims higher for the same price.

I came in to look for a new diesel pick up truck after walking around for half hour I went inside no one said a word to me. So I walked into the rest room and once I walk in I find fecal matter on the floor. I turned around got in my car and left.

Had a great experience with Scott B, the salesman and Mike P., the finance/warranty/closing guy. People were friendly when we arrived and were reasonable to deal with when talking money. They got all my insurance and registration/inspection dealt with for me. They were accommodating when I changed my mind about transferring plates vs getting new plates and were able to communicate with me via text while I was at work. Dining certificate to eat while you're there! Thank you!

This was our fifth car purchase at Imperial Ford (fifth for the entire family). I keep coming back as I love the Ford cars and SUVs but specifically for the outstanding service I receive at Imperial every time I, our one of my family members purchases or services their car. Today I bought a new Ford Edge Titanium. Ali was my salesman. Friendly and out going. He is very helpful and walks you through the entire process slowly so you can understand all the details. He went above and beyond making my experience today very pleasant. We had purchased a car previously from Ali and were so impressed, we asked for him specifically today. Thank you Ali!

I also want to thank Kim from the Finance Office. She is efficient, pleasant and funny. The finance piece is always a bit tedious, however Kim kept me engaged and we shared many stories. This made the finance portion of the sale very enjoyable. You can tell she loves her job and it shows. Thank you Kim and thank you for the great service and laughs.

We will definitely be back when it's time to trade in another car. I can't recommend Imperial Ford enough.

I'm not sure but I think I purchased the first vehicle of the new decade at Imperial Ford!

On January 1, 2020 I bought my first new vehicle at the young age of 60! Paul Conti was my salesman and Joe Trocha handled the finance, I was made to feel very comfortable by all of the staff, and never felt pressured or rushed. I was very happy with the final deal on my F150 XLT. I would highly recomend Imperial Ford for your first or next vehicle purchase.

Second vehicle purchased from Mr. Michael Dimella, treats you like family. Flew in from Cincinnati, Ohio to purchase a new Super Duty truck and transportation was waiting for me at the airport as I walked out the exit doors! Walked into Imperial ford and was greeted by Mike Potenza. We got right to business. I wanted the Lincoln MKZ. He pulled one up for me and it was a done deal. I bought it that day with a really good deal. He even hooked me up with a rim detail and a few minor scratches that were on the car for free. Great customer service. I will refer many friends to Imperial Ford. Lou Carvalho made the deal all come together at the end as well. They were both a great help. Highly recommended.

What a wonderful and pleasurable experience I had purchasing from Imperial Ford. My salesman was Dave Bertulli, who was the most capable, efficient, courteous and kind salesman I ever had the pleasure to work with. He was very knowledgeable, very efficient,and always got back to me in a timely manner. Bob Champagne, the Sales Manager, was awesome, cheerful and also very efficient. In spite of what is happening with the Covid 19 pandemic, they both got the job done. I just love my 2019 Ford Fushion. Let me start out by saying, I am a car guy and, generally: i am not the easiest customer to deal with. I know when someone is trying to slick taIk me and I can see a plastic smile a mile away. There was none of that here. The salesman Michael Potenza was an absolute breath of fresh air. I never got the feeling that I was being talked at. I felt like a valued customer instead of a commission figure. I was never rushed into any decision I was uncomfortable with. I have been to 5 different dealerships in the past month and Michael was easily the most helpful, honest, and genuine person I had dealt with. He made the experience an absolute pleasure. Mike... thank you.
On to financing.... Kim is as real as they come. There isn't a lying bone in her body, as far as I could tell. Her direct and straightforward attitude lent themselves fantastically to her sense of humor. I don't think I have ever had such a good time while making such a weighted financial decision.

I rarely write reviews but this one is necessary! Dan in the service department is truly INCREDIBLE. I called in yesterday morning at 9:00 AM right when they opened and from out very first phone call he was calm, understanding, and professional. I called about 6 times yesterday and each time, he was fantastic with me. With that said, I was concerned because Dan told me it may take about a week for the vehicle to be looked at. WELL. I just received a phone call from Dan today, just a little over 24 hours later - letting me know that my car has not only been looked at, but it is completed and ready for pick up TODAY! Everything was covered under warranty / recall and they went ahead with repairs as they knew I needed. I am moving on Saturday and I was in FULL panic mode when this all happened. I cannot express the gratitude I have for Imperial Ford's mechanics and Dan in the service department. Truly would not choose to go anywhere else. Happy Holidays!

After shopping around at several dealerships in the area, Imperial Ford had the best price on a new Fusion. In the process of prepping the car, an issue arose with the paint. While the issue took a bit of time to resolve, Imperial customer service helped every step of the way. The dealership had the best price, stood behind their product, and offered an exceptional customer service experience. I have nothing but good things to say about my experience.

Recently bought a Ford F-150 from Imperial Ford in Mendon and we couldn't be happier. Buying a vehicle during covid-19 was a little daunting, we are so glad we ended up here!

From the beginning we worked with Mark online who directed us to Adam Wilson who is a manager there through email. My husband and Adam emailed back and forth and were able to iron out most of the details of the deal. We live over an hour away on Cape Cod, so we didn't want to take the trip unless we really knew it was worth our while.

Imperial respected the fact that we were a ways away, knew what we wanted, and knew what we had to trade. We were able to get a rough trade number for my Ford SUV, and when we got there the number was accurate, no bait and switch which was really refreshing.

When we arrived, Adam took a look at our trade and then introduced us to Dave Bertulli as our "man on the ground". Dave and Adam were a great team and worked well together. We took the truck for a ride and it was everything it was advertised to be which was a great relief. We had been searching for a while and going to local dealerships only to find features of the truck were not as advertised, they were crazy low on the trade, or they just didn't have what we were looking for so tried to sell us something else, NOT the case at Imperial! They actually had 3 trucks that would have worked for us, but we liked this one the best.

After we talked to Dave and all agreed on the deal, it was time to wait for the financing department and see what they could do. We had great offers on financing that we came with, but we were hoping to maybe drive home with the truck that day so financing with them made everything seamless and we were excited!

The dealership is beautiful and spacious with comfy couches and lots of cool music memorabilia to peruse while you wait, plus walls of giant tvs to watch. The place as well as the bathroom was very clean and comfortable. The financing guy was backed up, so we waited, and waited, and waited. Dave gave us some coupons for a food truck nearby which was just what we needed. Once we got back it was probably another 45- an hour before we met with the finance department.

He immediately kind of rubbed us the wrong way as he seemed really annoyed to be meeting with yet another person and doing yet another deal..... not exactly what we wanted to be greeted with after our long wait to meet with him.... so he was fine, said of course he would have the most competitive rates and that he could get what anyone else could get.... well turns out he couldn't... but he got close at least. We had already been at the dealership for about 3 hours and the deal was so close to done. We really liked Adam, Dave, and the truck, so luckily we were all able to come to an agreement. The financing guy was the only slight bump in our super enjoyable car buying process.

All in all, we are so happy with our purchase from Imperial! I would highly recommend them to any friend or family looking for fair honest customer service, and a huge inventory of quality vehicles.

My wife and I visited Imperial Ford last week with her brother and sister in law to buy a new car and based off of their experience, went back this weekend and bought ourselves one as well. We already knew which one we wanted from the previous visit. We got there today (Saturday) at 11am and were able to leave with the new car at around 1:30pm. It was so fast. Although I will say that the later you go in the day on the weekend, the busier it is. The weekend before we got there at about 2pm and it was pretty busy so that should be expected. Overall awesome experience. Santos is a friend of mine and he helped us out TREMENDOUSLY at both visits. Thank you to everyone else at Imperial who helped us get in our new rides including Jon Filluel, Rami Awad, Maaz Al Nahas, and Jeff Nadim!

My husband purchased a new truck from Imperial Ford and the experience was positive and flawless. Employees Lou Carvalho and Mike Potenza made the experience stress free and very pleasant. They couldn't have been more accommodating.

We saw the truck on line on Wednesday and picked it up on Saturday. They did all the running for sticker, registration and plates and we didn't have to do another thing. Just pick up the car and drive.

I highly recommend Imperial Ford as the go to place to purchase your next vehicle. I have already recommended this place to friends. My son's friend has been looking for a specific vehicle and hasn't been able to find it. These two employees have already found the car and will have it ready for pick up.

My wife and I have been going to Imperial Ford for about three years now. My wife owns a 2012 Ford Fusion SLE. We all know vehicles will need repairs and maintenance and we really need to go to a place where we can trust the people, so with that said we do trust their work and really enjoy the waiting area, we also like to relax and read our books while our vehicles are being worked on, that's right I also bring my own vehicle to Imperial Ford and I own a 2015 Mazda 3 Touring, with the Mazda it's just been oil changes tire rotations, but tomorrow I'm getting 4 Pirelli Cinturato P7 tires put on at a very good price and a front end alignment. I am very happy bringing my vehicles to Imperial Ford, just know the cost of the repairs before hand and things will go well for you. We bought Pirelli tires for my wife's car and I will say that Imperial Ford has some of the best tire prices around.

He was thorough and honest while explaining what needed to be done. I m the type of person that likes to shop at multiple places before making a final decision but this time I didn t. Lol Dave Bertulli was awesome with helping us search for our family vehicle! Drove an hour and glad we did! As soon as we got there we were greeted and explained to Dave what we were looking for. He was very friendly and took the time to show us all the perks each vehicle had. The vehicle we purchased had low mileage and was very clean!

Joe Trocha from financing was also great to work with and made us feel very comfortable while working with him! He had an awesome personality and took the time to explain all the paperwork.

Sales Manager Mike DiMella is why car salesmen get a bad rap. They do not honor the pricing they show on their website and instead blame you that you didn't read the fine print. They show a price in bold red font and even show you how much off MSRP it is, in my case it was over 11k. The fine print he mentioned is in very light font at the very bottom of the page. Very poor business practice and Mike couldn't be more proud of how they do business.

I finally traveled about an hour to Imperial Ford and met with Dean, and couldn't be more impressed with the professionalism. I knew what I wanted and was willing to pay, and between Dean in sales and Joe in the finance area we reached a mutual agreement and I left with a new truck. I had been eyeing ford edges for over a year. Imperial had a huge inventory and competitive prices. Josh took me out in the car I asked to see but placed me in the car I really wanted. I ended up buying a less expensive vehicle, same miles, a year older, but totally loaded. It was a no pressure negotiation and sell. Imperial is a terrific dealership. Josh, Mike, and Kim took care of everything and gave me a great car buying experience.

Their service waiting area has a cool multiplex television system with like 9 big lcds making one big image to watch it's the first time I saw that at a dealer. Great salesman I highly recommend if you happen to visit ask for him he will help you immensely. My husband gets there and now they changed the time to 2p. Then they have to take time to show him a few things . I work til 3p. hes going to be late picking me up from work. This is not acceptable. Just found out also that my credit score went down 15 points . I asked Joe in the loan dept specifically if the pull would affect my credit he assured me it would because I am the co owner . Had I known he misinformed me(a better term than I chose to use) I would have never signed to be the co owner All around scammers. Will never purchase a vehicle here ever again

We wouldn't go anywhere else to purchase a vehicle! Our salesman Dean was upfront and professional and made our car buying experience stress free and seamless! Everyone we have encountered there from the service department staff, their salespeople, the financing department personnel, and even the car wash technicians are all excellent to deal with! This is literally the first car dealership I have gone to where I have not felt any stress when it comes to working out a fair deal. If I could give them more than 5 stars, I would!

I contacted several Ford dealers via email for a price on a specific new car. The only dealer that replied was Imperial Ford. They replied promptly, and with a good simple black-and-white price. We went there, they honored the emailed price, gave us a fair deal on our trade-in, and we were in-and-out in no time. No tricks, no gimmicks, just a straightforward transaction. The showroom is huge, beautiful, and clean. These people clearly take pride in what they do.

I always service my car at Imperial Ford. Donnie Hanscom is so wonderful to deal with. My battery died in the middle of the day and I was afraid to drive it home after a jump. Called the dealership and spoke to Donnie (my husband told me to make sure I ask for him specifically). He took me right in and replaced the battery and added in an oil change I had scheduled for the following week so I wouldn't have to come back. All with a smile.
I really appreciate him getting my car in right away I know they were booked up because I had to wait over a week for my oil change appt.

I had a great experience here. It was quick and painless. The salesman Justin was very helpful. He got my paperwork done quickly and found me a good package from a good bank. It was the best experience I've ever had buying a car and I've owned about 15 different vehicles at this point in my life. I recommend them and especially Justin to everyone I know. Next time when I'm ready to trade in my new truck I'll be going back to them

I saw a certified, used Ford F150 pickup on the Imperial Cars website that I felt I would be interested in. I went to the dealership and took the truck for a test drive. The truck was very nice and priced well but not quite what I needed. I told the salesperson, Dave Bertulli my concerns and he understood. He took us around the lot and showed us every truck until we found THE truck. Dave worked with Mike Kind, the Sales Manager to get us a great appraisal on our trade-in and a bottom line price on the truck that was very competitive. We bought the truck. Kim Jacques in the Finance Dept. worked with us to complete all the necessary paperwork and we were able to drive home with the truck that night. The dealership itself is a great place to be while the process works itself out. We looked at the Rock & Roll memorabilia and watched the Red Sox on a video screen that takes up the whole wall. Overall the experience was exceptional. Dave, Mike and Kim were very professional and enjoyable to work with.

We recently had the best experience ever at a car dealership when we leased a new Ford Edge Select from Imperial Ford in Mendon. We worked with Steve Jionzo, salesman, and Mike Penner, general manager. Within two days, Imperial completed everything related to our trade in, new car, lease payments, finance, registration, and insurance. Colby Craig then set us up with all our dashboard electronics. Nothing could have been easier. To date, we ve driven 1,700 miles and cannot be more satisfied. Our Edge is fantastic and the Imperial dealership even better. Mr. Penner told us his goal is for every one of his customers to be 100% satisfied. We are for sure! Thank you so much. And thank you, Mr. Meehan, for everything you do for our community.

I went this morning for an oil change and overall maintenance check for my 2013 ExpIorer. I arrived around 8 and was greeted promptly. Rick helped check me in, we talked about what I needed and I mentioned a small, what appeared to me to be oil leak and asked if that could be checked. I went to the waiting area as using past experiences I knew I'd be out of there pretty quickly and it saved multiple trips. Rick came in a bit later telling me what they had found. We talked about the things that needed done right away for safety, brakes, and things that should be done but not immediate needs. Since I was there I said let's just do it all. He then informed me the leak was actually a bigger deal as it was related to a problem with the transfer case. He said they needed to keep it but at 9 he would call the warranty company (I had the extended warranty) and that he'd get me a loaner car and out of there as quickly as possible. Rick explained things clearly and worked efficiently! Shortly after 9 he came to get me to tell me my loaner was all set! When I asked when to expect the work to be completed he said oh hopefully later today it's all apart and he's already working on it but worst case scenario would be Monday! I could not have been more pleased, I assumed with getting a loaner we were talking about this taking days! I was shocked that getting the loaner for the day was a non issue and done without any hesitation! I originally told Rick I needed a couple things from my vehicle most importantly my handicapped placard. Rick had that in hand when the loaner car was ready! About 4 pm as Rick promised he called to give me an update. Fortunately the vehicle was ready! I went back right away. Rick and the rental person (sorry I didn't get her name)were ready with paperwork and my keys when I arrived. I paid for the normal maintenance and Rick even took the time to go get my vehicle as it was outside and down the side of the building. For what could have been a very trying and costly experience Rick went out of his way to ensure I was well taken care of and he handled everything seamlessly. I didn't have to make any warranty calls, or even search for friends to come pick me up and take me back later. Rick your customer service skills were awesome and greatly appreciated! Car issues are never fun, but you sure made things easy, for which I'm very grateful! Thanks Rick and team for a job well done!

Running someones credit after they walk out the door is against FCRA guidelines.. just to be spiteful.. in an attempt to ruin someones credit score that declined a bogus sale on an overpriced Lemon.. luckily I was able to contact the 3 credit agencies before damage was done.. Your sales people bent over backwards to sell my daughter a vehicle but to service the vehicle and refusing to give her a loaner or worse shuttle her to her home approximately 19 minutes away in Grafton discourages me to purchase anything from your dealership or to encourage anyone to do business with you. I purchased my little Ford Fiesta here back in 2014. I don t remember having any complaints then about the service or sales-person.

My review today is about the service department. Bear with me, as this is long. My car has a recall on the transmission. It s been an issue, but thankfully my car has been mostly fine so I was able to delay getting it fixed. Well I finally bit the bullet and had then look at the transmission. They ordered the parts and scheduled an appointment. Well they scheduled the appointment for me, without notifying me, on a day that I work. Well when I got a call saying I had missed an appointment, I told them I simply couldn t drop my car off during the week because of work, they informed me I was eligible for a free rental. So I dropped my car off the next night and received my rental. My car got fixed and I was able to drive home in it.
And then when I got home and parked in my driveway, the BRAND NEW transmission broke and got stuck in reverse.
So I immediately called Imperial. The service desk was closed, but the sales manager was beyond helpful. He immediately got me a loaner car and left a message for the service center. I had the car towed there to be service first thing this morning. I received a call from the service department before 9am telling me the car was fixed. They quickly IDed the problem, fixed it and apologized for the error. They even agreed to drive the car around a bit to test the transmission and ensure it wouldn t get stuck again.
Overall, my service was handled quickly and professionally, including the initial scheduling mishap. Furthermore, they owned up to their mistake, made immediate amends, and got my car back to me as quickly as possible.

They still took the car which was fair although when I came to pick up my car when they said it was ready I had to wait to forever to actually get it. They always get me in quickly, keep me up to date with the status, and fully explain any technical details. Clay is always happy to go for a ride with me so I can show him the issue. I purchased my truck at Imperial and opted to buy an extended warranty (CNA Agreement), which has proven to be a great investment. Imperial has always honored the extended warranty, and Donny takes care of everything. If my truck needs repair, it is just like it was under the Factory warranty and totally seamless. My family and I have been buying cars from Mike Dimella for over 25 years, from work trucks to personal vehicles and he s never disappointed.... and neither has Imperial Ford. When we call mike and tell him what we want we know he s going to get it done at the best price... we don t even shop shop around. There are numerous Ford truck dealers near us and we always make the 90 minute drive to Mendon for our vehicles, between Mike, Tony and Joe Trocha we know we re always taken care of. This visit for a pre owned F150 we got the pleasure of working with Tony in the sales department who not only entertained my kids with balloons but also helped us transfer everything from the old car to the new truck.... thank you guys again for everything... we will definitely be back soon for the next one.

I had been looking for a 2016 Ford Escape and had been emailing/calling back and forth with the Internet rep Sarah Burns. She was very polite and friendly. She quoted me on 2 vehicles, what rebates I qualified for, etc. Thinking I had found a good deal on the car I wanted I made an appointment for that evening and drove 1.5 hours to the dealership. When I got there I asked for Mike the manager (as Sarah had instructed me to do so) and Mike passed me over to Paul, who was also very friendly. It wasn't until we sat down to talk numbers that I realized I had been mislead. Paul told me I didn't qualify for some of the rebates Sarah quoted me on for both cars. After speaking with Mike for nearly 15 minutes, he agreed to the sales price I was quoted. THEN came my trade-in, I had been quoted anywhere from $19.5-21K for my car at other dealerships, KBB, Edmunds, and had even submitted a quote on THEIR online "Black Book Trade-In Tool" that came back with the same range, BUT they refused to give me anything over $18K. Outright refused! I couldn't believe I was being low balled. I asked to speak to the Mgr Mike to figure out why and he said they used their own appraisers and wouldn't consider any other number "Take it or leave it" and walked away. At this point it was near closing time, and as I was sitting there discussing the deal with Paul THEY SHUT OFF THE LIGHTS! TO THE ENTIRE DEALERSHIP! The manager made it pretty clear that he did not want my business so I collected my things and left. They should be ashamed of the way they do business and treat customers that they can't rip off!

I arrived on a busy Monday without an appointment for a routine oil change. I have a large truck and the service advisor, Don, said it would be a couple of hours as the only hoist big enough for my truck was tied up. But, they would try to get it in. So, I settled down for what I assumed would be a long wait. To my surprise, after little more than 30 minutes, my truck was done. WOW, that's what I call beating an estimate. I am from out of town, but I would definitely bring my vehicle for service here again, if I was in the area.

Right from the start, there was no pressure. Imperial's dealerships are beautiful and the staff aims to please. While waiting for our new vehicle to be detailed, they provided lunch at their diner which was delicious. Shawn Goulet was our salesman, and he was great, even answering my calls on his day off. Sales managers Al and Mike were very personable and fair. I had a small issue and Al took care of it, no questions asked. I am very satisfied with the purchase of our Corvette and would not hesitate to return for future purchases.

I m so glad that I returned, as everyone again went WAY above & beyond to help make this as seamless & expeditious as possible. Not only do I ADORE my new car, but again, the service was so personalized & impeccable.

Both Chris Meehan & Mike Childs deserve special recognition for their phenomenal customer service. They went out of their way to find what I wanted, acquire it, fine tune the occasional, expected glitch, & make sure everything was perfect & I was happy/comfortable before leaving in my gorgeous new car. In fact, Chris even has followed up with me since, to confirm my satisfaction & answer any questions, which he has offered to do on an ongoing basis as I get accustomed to my new car.

My husband bought a certified preowned Ford F-150 from them. The day he went to pick it up, they clipped the truck s fender on another car leaving a small dent! The dealership offered him $800 but wouldn t actually fix it. I thought that was weird, but my husband proceeded to purchase the truck. Over the past few months of owning the truck, the E brake has been getting stuck and the doors periodically don t latch properly, which results in an annoying warning indicator that goes off while you re driving.

We did some research and found out that there was a 2017 recall on the model he bought in 2018. There s actually a lawsuit going on, but the dealership failed to fix the issues indicated in the recall! We called the dealership to schedule service and the unapologetically said they can t give us an appointment for another 2 weeks. This is ridiculous. They should ve taken care of the recall issue before we purchased the truck.

Decided to keep my car longer (negative equity), but I would have bought otherwise. Will go back when I'm ready, to see what they have.
