I bought a 2017 Nissan Altima last year. The transmission went out after only 40,000 miles. I have a small child that needs a booster seat. The crappy loaner vehicle that was provided at a charge is a Nissan frontier. I have absolutely no room for my daughter and Ben didn't seem to give a damn. This is horrible service and I don't recommend Charleston Nissan to anyone!!!

Never had a good service experience. Only come because my oil changes are free because I purchased the service package. Dropped off last night for an oil change was not told it was done until 12:20 and only found out it was done because I called at least 5 times with promised phone calls back, shouldn t it be visible in the system that my car is done? Also car wash (which also is included in service package) is a complete joke but was told it was hand washed .

*****DO NOT BUY FROM HERE**** I wish I could give this place 0 stars. They coaxed me into buying a faulty car, and the service department has been terrible. Lies and deceit all around this place. I bought at 2016 Altima and have taken it in 5 times already due to my engine light coming on (in the first 10 months of owning it). I came to another Nissan dealer to see if they had actually fixed anything (after another engine light) and have been told essentially nothing was done. I wish I could leave 0 stars, but at this point I'm worried about the safety of my family and myself**** DO NOT BUY FROM HERE*****

I had an absolutely AMAZING car buying experience here! We came here after a horrible experience at Hudson Nissan (which you can read about on their Google reviews), and Morris was a breath of fresh air! We were greeted at the door by someone who gave us seating and brought us water. Immediately, a sales associate sat down with us and we told them what we were looking for--A Nissan Versa Note in Morning Sky Blue or a Nissan Juke. That associate assigned us to Tarsha, who is THE BEST. They allowed us to test drive both the Juke and the Note, in the closest trim levels they had to what we were looking for. Tarsha and I talked about the pros and cons of each car, and she really listened to what I wanted. We then sat down with Tarsha and the finance person and ran some numbers. The Juke was out of our price range, but the finance person explained WHY it was out of our price range and did it extremely politely. I told him I still loved it, and he asked what was important to me in a car. My biggest thing was reliability. He explained to me that the reliability on the Note was better, and WHY it was better. That sealed my decision--a Note it was! All in all, it only took about two hours. I appreciated that they wanted me to have the best car for me, and not the most expensive car. We signed the paperwork, and Tarsha drove to Anderson and got my new car, and delivered it squeaky clean and with a full gas tank about 3 days later (this was over labor day weekend). The gal who works in finance there and helped us sign our final paperwork was wonderful, she explained everything to us about leasing and got us through the process quickly, while still talking to us and getting to know us. Tarsha was great about showing me all the features of my new car, and making sure I was totally happy with it. Morris bought my old car, a 1999 Ford Contour. I thought my old car was going to be sent to a junkyard, but I got a call a few days later saying that Tarsha's husband had bought my old car! I was thrilled. A few weeks later, Tarsha sent me and my family a thank-you note and a gift in the mail, and she has been in contact ever since. Honestly, I couldn't have had a better experience here, and I can't even articulate how wonderful the sales staff is. My new car is wonderful, everyone loves it! I was the last of my girlfriends to get a new car and now they all wish they had waited and gotten a Versa Note, and they were all so jealous when they heard about my experience with Tarsha--they wanted to have as great of an experience as I did! I LOVE my new car, Tarsha, and the staff at Morris Nissan! THANK YOU!!!

Awesome experience and top notch service. I initially worked with Michael who was very knowledgeable, patient and understanding of what I was looking for. Even hooked me up with an extended test drive to take home the wife and kid for a nap. I then worked with Syed was very friendly and helpful. He worked out the few kinks I had and explained things nicely. Good down to earth folks!!! Didn't feel that "gotcha" vibe at the dealership at anytime! Highly recommend this car dealership if Nissan is your thing.

I've been to this dealership on Savannah Highway to service my car twice and I left disappointed each time. The first time, I went in for an oil change which included basic inspection, but they handed the car back after the oil change without a word about the basic inspection results. The second time, I went in for mileage-scheduled service that included inspections and an oil change prior with a checklist of things to do prior to a major scheduled maintenance. After first agreeing to do the inspection and oil change, they gave the car back with only oil change done after a two hour wait. Needless to say, I won't be going back to this place again. I've enjoyed great service at Nissan dealerships in other cities, but this particular one has disappointed me not once, but twice.

From the first contact through email, which was responded to promptly, to talking with my salesperson, Michael Gregory, who listened to what I was looking for and went above & beyond to find my car. Michael was polite, professional, respectful, educated, and made my visits overwhelmingly great! He found exactly what I was looking for & handled everything.

I have checked out two other dealerships before coming to Morris Nissan. From the moment I entered the showroom, the Morris Nissan's staff made me feel welcome in a hassle-free and pressure-free environment. Not only that I was not pressured into buying a vehicle, but Richard Smith, my salesman, was very honest and up front with me every step of the transaction. When it was all said and done, I paid a fair price for the Nissan Altima, and felt good about the people that sold me the car. On this day, the Morris Nissan dealership exceeded my expectation and valued me as a customer.

I bought a new vehicle from Hudson Nissan and I am pleased my purchase. Our sales person was Nana. He was pleasant to work with throughout the process. The manager, Clay Toporski was able to get the exact color & features that I wanted for an OTD that I was comfortable with. There were some oversights regarding the vehicle's readiness but the service department corrected them to our satisfaction. The finance department honored the advertised APR offer that I qualified for but they forgot a few forms that required that I sign more papers after the sale. We also had to drive back to the dealer a few times for various reasons. Aside from these hicupps, we had a very nice experience at Hudson Nissan of Charleston. Based on this experience, I would feel comfortable recommending this dealer to friends and family.

Dealer recently started charging a fee for using your credit card even to pay for auto service or repairs. Although the fee is waived if a debit card is used. I was told by service staff credit card are starting to do that which in my opinion is a poor excuse for them to create an inconvenient experience for customers and charge more. Taking in consideration better prices at other service/repair shop and no credit card fees may not return unless is for warranty service.

I've been going to Crown Nissan of Greenville for 8 years and never had a bad experience. I'm moving to Charleston so this was my first time at Hudson Nissan of Charleston and they have already lost my business. I do not feel that they were looking out in my best interest, and they tried to shake as much money out of me as possible. First, they charge a flat $160 diagnostic fee, regardless of what the problem is or how long it takes to diagnose. They then told me it would cost $1300 to replace my coolant fan and $300 to replace the thermostat, which would take an experienced technician no more than a few hours. I told them to stop working on the car and I would fix it myself, but they said the technician had already started taking the car apart and would have to put it back together, so they still charged me over $500 for the diagnostic fee and for this expert technician to take the car apart and put it back together, which took him no more than 1 hr based on the timing of my calls with the service manager. They also still tried to charge me for the parts that they had already ordered until I asked them to remove the charge. They charged over $300 for the parts, which I bought at autozone the same day for $130. The only positive thing I can say is that I took my car in at 5:30 PM and they had the problem diagnosed by 8 AM the next morning.

UPDATE: I completed this job in under 2 hours, just from watching a youtube video, with NO previous experience working on my car. Only spent $150 on parts. Beyond frustrated that I gave these people any money at all.

Left my car for some minor body work (touch up) , was told it would take 1 day, it took 2 days, 6 phone calls. Someone finally told me the car was ready and when I got there it had not been touched!

Let me preface by saying that Chelsea was fantastic to work with and it's a shame that things didn't work out the process before we walked out the door was great. We went to buy a new car, and found one I loved. We were pre approved by our credit union but they said they might be able to get us a better rate, I told them they could run our credit once to see, but I didn't want multiple inquires, they said of course.

We submitted all the paperwork to the CU and based on the NADA value of the car, they were coming up about $500 less than what we needed. I emailed Chelsea and asked if they could work on the price a little ( they only came down 500 originally) and she said she checked with her manager and they said no.

So I went and found another car and emailed back that we were going somewhere else. I then got and email and phone call from the manager saying they could work with us, when I said I wasn't sure because we found another car he said "I'm telling you I can work with you, what is the problem?" Which was quite off putting. If you could work with the price, you should have said so in the first place when I asked, not as I was walking away because it was best for me financially.

Lastly, I just got notifications that they ran our credit 6 times, not once like I had requested since we were pre approved already.

I called on a Saturday to make my appointment for the following Thursday and told them specifically what I was bringing the car in to be repaired for. Dropped it off at 9 a.m. that Thursday morning and at 2 p.m. in the afternoon they called me to let me know that they had discovered what repair the car needed which is exactly what I had scheduled the appointment for and then advised me that it couldn't be repaired until the following day because they had to order the part. Needless to say that I was a bit frustrating since I had called them days in advance and told them what I was bringing it in for so couldn't quite understand now why the part had to be ordered when it could have been ordered all along but I guess they assumed I didn't know what I was talking about. Friday came and still I did not have my car back and they told me it would be Saturday instead because the wrong part came in on Friday. Saturday came and still no car and I I was then told it would be Monday before I got it back. Monday came and then of course still no car. Finally on Tuesday afternoon I called because I had heard nothing from anyone which is how every day went unless I called first, and was told finally the car was indeed done and that they were just getting ready to call and tell me that. Wednesday after receiving my car back I received a call from a young lady to be sure that I was happy with the service I received and I told her that I was not and explained why. She asked me if I would like to have the service manager call me back and I told her I would not because on Monday when I called and was very frustrated to hear that I had to wait yet another day to get my car back, the service manager didn't have the time of day to call me back but instead had a different young lady call to tell me that. And then if all of that wasn't bad enough, two days after I got my car back a young man made a left hand turn directly in front of me and wrecked my car and when I went to get the insurance card out of my glove box, it wasn't there. Turns out that when they had to give me a loaner car to drive while my car was in their shop for days and days, they had taken it out of the glove box to make a copy of it and failed to ever put it back in the glove box. So rather than contacting me to let me know their mistake, I had to find out the hard way. Good thing for online app so I could pull up my insurance coverage on the spot.

Let me start off by saying that our salesman Syed was great. But, my overall experience was one of my worst experience. My husband and I was in the dealership after closing and we thought everything was okay the next morning my husband and I were leaving out to bury my father's ashes and we found over 30 big red ants crawling in the door and a few on the seats and the floor. We could not return it the next day because the location was closed I called and sent an email message to Syed and Ed in the finance department. My husband and I came back in on Monday which was memorial day because it was not just the ants but the car was not detailed properly. When we showed the video of the big ants it was an option to detail the car or switch it out. So now me, my husband and The car salesman Syed went to the left side of the dealership to find another car the same model and there behold there were the same ants in a line crawling into the hood of another car this time the salesman was able to see it for himself. This was tough because I have a phobia of bugs. Syed went to his boss who came to speak with us and offered 4 years of oil changes and tire rotations. So when we went into Ed's office to resign the finance paperwork my husband just wanted the car no extra add ons he just wanted to go and so did I. So I wanted to confirm everything so since we did not get the extra coverage offered by the dealership we were told the 4 years coverage we no longer get so I said to Ed this was offered to us because of our experience and he said since you are not getting any service we are unable to get the 4 years. This made is feel like Nissan was saying I don't care about your experience. So we signed and left thinking never again, what happened to trying to make things right. I guess we know going forward where not to go or where not to refer others to go. This was our experience. This is why I would like to give not even one star but I have to so that I can submit my feedback. I hope no one have to experience what we did.

I ve been consulting Nick for about a year now and he has always kept business clearly communicated; you don t find too many salesmen like that. The hospitality across the entire lot is beyond acceptable and the atmosphere is welcoming. Special thanks also, to Mr. Terry Breedlove for always being a dedicated and honest representative! Recently, had an oil change here. Received report with recommended work needed based off of inspection of my Nissan Altima. However, I have my vehicle frequently maintained at their sister store Hudson Nissan North Charleston. Thus, I asked why were these services recommended if I already had some of it already done. Service advisor then states it was based off of mileage of the vehicle.
Yesterday, I give them another chance. I need a tire patch, low beam headlight replacement, and O2 sensor (confirmed after diagnostic check) to go out of town to aid with a sick relative. After seeing the $500 quote to replace two low beam bulbs. I declined that repair, knowing previously Ihad paid half that for the same repair before. So I signed for repairs to start on O2 sensor and tire replacement (because he said it was to far out/ side-wall repair)... which I doubt but wasn t able to confirm or deny and wasn t on the inspection video. Then, I called the Hudson Nissan on Rivers Ave to verify the prices of the other repairs... as suspected Hudson Charleston quoted and charged me DOUBLE the price of their sister store Hudson on Rivers. So I asked Adam if I could speak to Dan Fort, service manager... conveniently he was out. I spoke to the assistant manager... he explained the other store probably didn t have all the details of my vehicle... I stated that was incorrect because a gave them my phone number which was connected my account to my vehicle vin number. He then has the service rep go call Hudson North Charleston to get specific part numbers and hours of labor... Adam comes back with higher prices than I was quoted but slightly lower prices ( ie $361 for parts and labor on to low beam bulb replacement) and offers to price match this still ridiculous and new fictitious quote. I still declined. However, since I had already signed for the repairs I paid the twice the price for the labor here vs. what was originally quoted from their sister store on Rivers ave.... Buyers beware!!!!!! Rip-off.... Service prices are twice the price as other Nissan dealerships.

While parked in lot waiting for part it is hit by someone s vehicle. Fix leak (hopefully) and now at collision center. First replacement fender arrived damaged. Second arrived this morning and is wrong one. Now being told by collision center might get another by next Tuesday. Need truck back. No one returns calls. Left three messages for general manager. Chirp chirp Only person who has been helpful has been Tony. Left him a message few ago. Will see if I get a call back. Pathetic so far. Will keep you posted. See if we can turn it around. Who knows.

I went there last week Thursday to have my vehicle checked for a possible water leak. John Mount was there when I picked my vehicle up @6pm as well as the guy who I was working with. But John went above and beyond for me as a customer by riding with me to my job, he pulled back the carpet on the floor before we drove my truck into the car wash to verify that there was no leak. Beware if they call that they have someone interested in your vehicle. It s just a sales tactic to try to get you in and sell you something else.

Thanks for the response even if it is irrelevant. I would expect no less if I had contacted you with interest in selling my vehicle. You however fail to mention that your dealership called me out of the blue with a great offer and we would like for you to come in. I am even asked about this being a sales ploy and was assured it was not. Working in car sales, I m sure you are used to getting your time wasted. I, sir, however am not and do not appreciate it

HORRIBLE service department communications! Phones go down, no one answers the phone, no one returns calls, updates are non-existant. Not enough service advisors for existing capacity! Service advisors were nice and courteous in person though. I would never purchase a vehicle from this dealership for those reasons.

I am now the proud owner of a Nissan Altima and couldn't be happier. Jordan made it so easy to get the car I wanted. I texted him with several questions about the car and financing options, and he was readily available to help every step of the way. He asked me which color I preferred and the price range I was hoping to achieve, and he did everything he could to get me an awesome lease price. Eddie Nuttall was incredibly patient and understanding with me when it came down to negotiating the price too. It's always easy going in there for an oil change....

It's always easy going in there for an oil change. They greet you at your car and walk you through the paperwork and then lead you to a nice station where they have Starbucks coffee and other goodies. They also have a big screen Television and comfortable waiting area. Their employees seem very happy so it must be a great place to work. Everybody is very kind and outgoing and there's always a hustle and bustle going on. I've been going here 8 years now and I'm very confident with their abilities.

We recently bought a 2013 Pathfinder from Morris Nissan. We first tried Hudson Nissan and they were severely undervaluing the blue book and black book trade in value on our trade-in and made lousy excuses why. They claimed they would be both the best sales price and best trade-in value around. I called Morris Nissan the next day and asked if they could get me the price that I wanted originally and they agreed on all terms. They not only beat the trade-in value, they also beat the price from the competitor. I am happy that they still run the business as a family and the owners are there working and talking to the customers and are not running the place like a big corporation like many of the dealers are doing these days. I will definitely consider Morris Nissan for my next purchase if Nissan would just update the Armada to compete with the other large SUVs. Thank you Gil and Richard for making this a pleasant buying experience.

My name is Gayle Nielsen and on Wednesday, September 20, 2017 I brought my mother s (Sheri Ackerman) 2010 Nissan Altima in to the Charleston Nissan dealership. After returning from a trip upstate the car seemed sluggish with very little power and a family friend (Scott Moody) recommended that I bring it in to be checked. I was greeted by DANNY BRENNAN and was immediately eased by his friendly yet straight forward approach. He let me know that everyone at Charleston Nissan would do their best to locate and fix the problem with options that would work for my Mother. Danny directed me to the waiting area/ lounge and encouraged me to have a coffee or a soft drink while he sent the car in to the shop. Danny returned with an estimate of what had been located and costs for the repairs. Because the car wasn t mine I had to make several phone calls to talk things over with my mother before giving Danny the go ahead on the work. He was patient and told me to take all the time I needed and let him know when I was ready. When I gave him the go ahead to complete the work...I was so shocked at how fast it was before Danny returned to let me know the car was ready! So great work in the Mechanics bay too! Danny is definitely the PERFECT person for Charleston Nissan to have greeting your customers when they walk in the door! I was frightened and overwhelmed when I walked in and thanks to Danny when I left, I was telling everyone about my great experience at Charleston Nissan. Keep up the good work Danny!

Brought it back to the dealership, they had it checked by some side show mechanic. The catalytic converter went out, cost over 3,000 to fix. Hudson Nissan did not want to pay. I talked to the General Manager and he said he would have it repaired. It was repaired with aftermarket parts and not by BMW. Long story short engine light is still on. We just bought one of our dream cars that Hudson Nissan had available on their lot, and it was by far one of the more enjoyable experiences I have had purchasing a vehicle; but that isn t the heart of this review.

They really shined in dealing with an issue that arose with the vehicle. Their response was above and beyond our expectations. The damage was small, but was a potential point of entry for moisture on top of the vehicle. Every step was taken to repair the damage, and ensure that it was water tight. Effort and attention to detail was evident all the way around.

If you are lot hunting, or just happen to have picked out the car online, you are going to walk away happy if you deal with the crew at Hudson Nissan on Savannah Hwy. Sounds like a commercial line but it s true.

Called on a Tuesday to inquire about viewing / test driving a used vehicle. Salesman Clay stated that the car was being inspected and that he would call back to schedule an appointment. He confirmed an appointment for the coming Thursday. Clay again confirmed the appointment on Thursday morning and stated that he would be out and that Nana would take care of things. Arrived and was greeted by Nana who took me out to the car. He said it was rough around the edges and asked if I was still interested - I said yes and he went to get the keys for a test drive. He came back five or so minutes later with the sales manager who said that the dealership in fact wasn't willing to sell the car and would instead be sending it to auction. He said it was a mistake that the car was on their website. No explanation was given for why someone made a showing appointment and confirmed availability with me the morning of. TL;DR: Salesman scheduled a showing for a car and confirmed the showing on the morning of only for the sales manager to refuse to sell the car after I drove 30 minutes to the dealership and waited around for 15 minutes. Waste of 1.5 hours.

My experience was good Seth McNeil provided excellent customer service. Also want to acknowledge Josh, the auto technician, for actually fixing the part on my car in a reasonable time. Seth informed me that I might have to get a loaner so Josh can work on my car after hours and it would be ready in the morning but Josh worked his magic and I got my car driving smooth as ever. I couldn t be happier with the service at this Nissan dealership. I never felt pressured to make a decision at any point during my search and purchase. Leroy was extremely kind and pleasant to work with, and was very knowledgeable about the features on my vehicle. I m so glad he was my salesman. The finance team did an awesome job of getting me a great interest rate, even with my limited credit history. I ended up being able to afford a 2019 Rogue SL, when I originally thought I d be coming home with something older and more used. They got my monthly payment exactly in the budget I had in mind. Everyone I worked with at this dealership was friendly and helpful, and I had a great experience. I would definitely recommend this dealer.

Called for a service appointment. Was transferred from service to the body shop incorrectly and transferred back to service. She didn't apologize just put me back on hold. After being on the phone for a total of 10 minutes I was transferred without being told to another number and reached a VM. Just to make an appointment... I called Hudson Nissan and scheduled my appointment there instead.

I have never left a negative review for anyone or anything but am so disappointed in Charleston Nissan that I feel the need to leave this as a warning for future car buyers. After being in the car business my entire life, take my advice when I say this dealership is SO poorly operated. It is the most terrible I have ever seen. Never in my life have I been lied to like we were there and then they acted like it was no big deal. Trust me and do NOT waste your time here. There are so many other choices around the Charleston area where managers and employees actually care about the customer and this is DEFINITELY NOT the place.

I came in for a oil change and the expected wait time was 1hr 15 mins. I had a upgrade that "took" 15-20 mins. I left about almost 2.5 hours later. They service person asked if I wanted my truck washed and I said not if it's gonna take over 2 hours like the last time I was there. He said it wouldn't take that long. Again 2.5 hrs to get my oil changed is ridiculous. I get free oil changes for the life I own the truck and that's the ONLY thing I will have done at your dealership.
