It seemed really good at first got great customer service when they're selling it to you but after the fact that goes horribly wrong my 72 year old mother is sitting right now with nothing to drive for the last 4 days because she bought her truck in on something they did and they just dropped her off at her house 50 miles away and said he will call you when it's ready 4 days later nobody called finally I picked up the phone to call today because my mother has a great grandkids and has to be able to get around when I called everybody seem little concerned so yeah we'll get to it when we get to it not what I want to hear. somebody will get to it today . four days ago you should have told me that I have a family that's continually buys cars from Nissan I think this is the third one between my brothers and my mother and I'm hopefully convince them this will be the last one this is bad customer service and seemed like every time we show up for warranty service something new to be taxed that wasn't covered by the warranty the warranty is a joke I just hope that my mother can get her truck and and trade it for something else thanks a lot Nissan for the great customer service. Not like the lady said you answer the phone I know you're frustrated but there's nothing I can do about it and then she transferred me to someone else abruptly not hold on. Please wait I just want to talk to you so here's someone else buying a car is an important choice make sure you pick somebody who actually cares about you after you buy and obviously Nissan is not that

I would recommend Hudson Nissan of Charleston to all my friends and frankly anyone who will listen! ha ha Seriously, I was astounded and pleasantly surprised. I went in fully prepared to have "the car buying experience" but the staff at Hudson Nissan made it a real joy! I really have to say a special word about my salesman Leroy. This was not an easy sale but he was kind, thoughtful, knowledgeable and respectful of me, my time and my goal of driving away in a new Nissan Rogue Sport.

so i went to there service center to get my front ...

so i went to there service center to get my front driver side window repaired
after 4 hours at the service center i called them to see where the car was at in the repair
they told me that my window mount motor was burnt out ok how much was my next question
when the lady helping me said 650 dollars i was shocked
so i did some quick internet searches for parts and labor and found that they were close to 300% above market for what they were going to do
when i confronted the person on the phone about this the said that with all the labor and other charges that is a low as they can go
well i called around in the Charleston area and a garage lees than five minutes up the road would do it for half of there asking cost
so in summary i would avoid there service center all together for they price gouge all the time and they think that people cant look up what things cost and will not confront them on it
Considering that i have recently bought a new car from them months ago and was planning on buying one for my wife after this experience will definitely be looking for a new car dealer

This was far and away the best auto buying experience I have ever had. Nexsen Davis, my salesperson really went above and beyond to locate the truck I wanted. When I arrived at the dealership to finalize everything he had all the paperwork ready and in order. He handed me off to Eddie in finance who made that process seamless. After the sale was complete, Nexsen took me out and went over all the details of my new truck as well as giving me a tour of the service department.
5 star buying experience !

Svc. Dept lacking in the paying attention to the fine details. Had my car taken in to replace battery, the tech left the old battery in the back of SUV and the tire storage compartment door was broken. Also he put his greasy hands all over the car outside and inside. Car was not washed at all.

My encounter with Hudson Nissan of Charleston began on a Friday afternoon with a phone call from Chris Classen. Our conversation was beyond pleasant and ended with an appointment for the next day. Upon my arrival I was greeted by a team member who let Chris know I was there. Chris offered refreshments. We got down to business as I needed car. After getting to the basics (personal, income, car peference what size,style,bodycolor etc.) we went on a couple test drive. I found a car I was interested in. Upon returning, we went and finished the rest of paperwork. I wasn't able to get the car due to my credit however my husband cosign...I still wasn't able to get the car. Chris went to have a talk with one of the Managers by the name of Ed. With Chris and Ed working together, I left that same day in a Used 2014 Nissan Pathfinder that I put little money down. I couldn't be more happy. Thank You Chris Classen and Hudson Nissan of Charleston. If your in need give Chris a call you can't go wrong.

Our sales professional, Brendan, was very knowledgeable about all of the features of the vehicles but I never felt he was trying to "sell" me on a specific car. He cared about what I wanted in a SUV and gave me all of my options. He was friendly and I highly recommend this dealership and especially this sales professional. Excellent experience!

Overall my experience with Hudson Nissan has not been well but I will start with the good. The sales rep Jay Mort I really liked, I felt like he took care of all the questions my wife and I had about buying our car from Nissan and was an overall good guy and I would recommend him, just not at Hudson Nissan. Unfortunately I think he was given some untruthful information that he told me in the process.

Now for the bad. So during the review of the car I was informed that there was 3 extra packages included on the car already and it was not a choice to see if I wanted them or not. That did increase the price the car was advised for and I still accepted it. Come to find out that in fact they were not installed on the car, when I asked to see if I could redo my contract so I would not have to pay them, they refused to removed them even though I was told they were already on the car and I did not have a choice. So I did have to schedule a time to go into the dealership and install them since i might as well have them installed since I had to pay for it anyway. When I got to my car I noticed that a rubber cap on the hood of the car was broken off and so I went to the service area to inform the manager, he got the tech to come meet me to take a look at it. The tech immediately denied any fault and said it must have been like that before. after a bit of back and forth he finally "put some sealant" on it and said it was fixed. Needless to say it fell off going down the road later and I fixed it myself. One of the items that I had to get installed was a tracking system into the car and it connects to your phone and such. it seems like Nissan has yet to activate it so I cant do anything with it. I have been trying to get a hold of the dealer for a couple of days and leaving voice mails but nothing back yet

That was only the first issue. So remember when I had to sign the paperwork to get the car, well the finance guy said that I was going to get a 5 year warranty on the car for no additional cost as part of the purchase. Needless to say it was not free and added another $2200 to the cost. this was of course slipped in because they messed up the paperwork the first time and and I had to come back to re sign paperwork. Additional I was lied to about the length of the other extra packages also. I was told it was a 5 year interior and exterior paint protection, it ended up only being 3 years. So remember when I had to go take my car to get the extras installed. So it actually turned out the the second time I had to sign paperwork Nissan screwed up and I had to sign paperwork again right away or the bank would have some big issues with me. For those at home counting that is 3 separate time I had to go through the process of all the paperwork.

So in conclusion I will not be going to Hudson Nissan of Charleston for any new car needs in the future. I think it is quite possible they reply to this negative post with a generic message saying to give them call to fix this. Well I have been calling everyday for the last few days and have heard nothing at all, y'all can call me back.

I was really frustrated by the issue with my new 2019 Nissan Leaf, where the apple car play would cut out when playing through the car's audio system. I showed them that when i wiggled the usb cord in the jack, it would cut out. They heard my frustration and decided to do some research, and genuinely went the extra mile to help me figure out what was causing the issue. They were both patient and courteous in dealing with my frustration and persistent in getting the issue resolved. They have won my trust and I will definitely be bringing my car to Hudson for all my future service appointments! Thanks Guys!!

We were suppose to pick up a Nissan Sentra for our grandson today. We had completed/signed all the paperwork paid a $2000 deposit before hand, purchased insurance only to find out the sales Manager had made a $800-$900 mistake and therefore we could not pick up the car unless we now pay $800 -$900 more. How unprofessional, this would have been our 3rd car buying from Nissan Charleston - the second car just this year. Needless to say never again! Stay away; this business cannot be trusted.

I cannot say anything negative about my experience with Charleston Nissan. Every single person I have been in contact with from the service and parts departments including Becca, Ben, Josh and Mike H. and Mike P. have been nothing but professional. They have heard me vent about my '06 Xterra and the issues (purchased from another dealer and Nissan America downfalls and disappointments) and took every bit of my frustration and answered with calm, cool professionalism. As a small example, I needed a replacement hose, and Mike P. not only spent 30 minutes trying to locate the exact not-very-well-documented hose, he came out to see the hose just to make sure we had the correct part.

Nick Winn won me over with his easy going nature. Winn is an ideal car salesman; he is willing to listen and puts the customers' need first.
The Nissan staff has been very efficient and friendly. The venue is comfortable with food and beverage amenities if your car buying day is going to be a long one!

Do not deal with these people. They use dishonest and underhanded sales techniques. I had a salesman ask me to bring him cash as part of my payment. They intentionally try to mislead you around financing. The free oil changes are only free if you don't value your time, it will take hours to actually get it done. Go somewhere else.

Not impressed. Serious Integrity Issues.

I saw this van online on Car Gurus and reached out. I texted the Salesman and set up a time to come and purchase the van. I brought the cashier's check for the agreed price.

I was giving multiple prices at different prices and even signed a document that said (internal use only) and had a different price on the paperwork than my final paperwork. They put on the other paperwork the price was a warranty, but then had me sign off that there was no warranty. It also looks like they activated some sort of GPS tracker service without my permission as well. Nothing matches the pricing and they are very tricky.

The second key I had, didn't work, went to check the battery and learned the whole key had no guts. I reached out to the salesman and never heard anything back. Had to spend 150 on a key.

Even as a cash buyer the process was close to two hours. At the end of the day, felt like I was on a dirt lot. I plan on filing with AG.

This is not for this particular dealership, this is a review on nissan as a whole. The cars themselves are not bad, but definitely not my favorite. I have had a couple bad experiences with them, and even this dealership!
I had a rim dented on one of my tires, can you guess how much the rim costs for a stock rim for a 2016 Nissan altima? 828 dollars. 828 DOLLARS FOR ONE RIM. And yes I clarified with two people that this was correct.
Can you guess how much I'm buying one online for? 150-250$ max. This means this company literally is ripping off their own customers and blowing the roof off with the price.
I can literally get a lift kick and rims for my boyfriend's truck for the same price of four rims from Nissan. This is bull, especially because they most definitely spent little to nothing on these things.
For this reason I went right away to get rid of my altima. No it wasn't the cars fault or anyone's fault that the rim got dented, but just for that reason, I don't feel like I'm in good hands and now there is bad blood between the brand and me. Bye nissan, never getting one again.

Hands down the best car buying experience I've eve...

Hands down the best car buying experience I've ever had! Start to finish we were only there an hour and a half. My children were never made to feel like an inconvenience they were included and spoken to like they mattered. The sales man Steven got them drinks and directed them to snacks and toys. While the finance guy Donald had candy and let them play with his cool car computer mouse. I wish I started here vs the terrible experiences I've had with other large dealers in the area.

I have searched for the right Nissan Murano Cross Cabrolet and finally found it at Hudson Nissan of Charleston. Scott Barrett was essential in making it happen. From the first conversation to driving it off the lot, Scott was there. Hudson sold the car originally and maintained it. Jeremy trusted my assessment of my Nissan trade from out of state to make it happen. Honest and trustworthy all the way.

Well, Marcella, was amazing!! She assured me that they would fix it and make it right and get me out of there as quickly as I could as we were on our way out of town. Bought my first car there and couldn t have had a better experience!!! Mike Dedalto was terrific, not only a great car salesman but also great to have a conversation with!! Made it a fun time looking and making sure we had everything we needed in a car!! If you go make sure to ask for mike he will make it such a wonderful experience!! Austin the service rep was incompetent! Also i don't know why you guys would let a guy with brown teeth greet customers i felt really uncomfortable. Service manager Dan Ford if that's his real name which i know is false called and told me about how you put your customers first. He said he was calling with specifics when that was my first time talking to him. I'm pretty sure you have to speak to both parties to get specifics. I was charged almost 1,000 bucks to get a new key made and an ignition amp they said i needed. Both parts together costs under 400 bucks so how was i charged 600 bucks for labor. A complete rip off and incompetent workers!!!!!!!

Well let's start off by saying in April of 2017 I bought a brand new Altima. The customer service was exceptional and my sales guy Stephen Hardman was absolutely amazing. He answered any and all questions I had and handled anything I requested. So let's move on I went back a few weeks ago to get my first oil change on my Altima. Well I ended purchasing an additional vehicle that was used. I dealt with a different sales guy by the name of Greg because Mr. Hardman was not there. And oh boy do I regret it to the core. The customer service was a -0!
I left the vehicle there to get detailed and came by later that night before closing to pick it up. Greg was not their ok fine I had not spoken with him since I left the dealership earlier that day. But Mr. Hardman was and took him and another guy to figure out where the keys were no biggie. So Mr. Hardman an I walked out to the car and he sat in the car and went over all the knobs and such as he did with the Altima which is much appreciated. It was dark by the way when I picked the vehicle up. So anyway the next morning I go out to the car to look in the glove department to look for the paperwork that I asked for. Which included the inspection they did on the car and the car fax. Also I needed to know if an oil change had been preformed and when they next one would be. Well guess what? None of the papers where there and along with that the car was not even touched!
The trunk and backseat was full of dog hair there was crusted up looking dust in the door compartments along with some chewed up yellow candy in between the seats. I mean really ??? This is how you do business and take care of your customers? I'm so disgusted with this experience I don't even no what else to say. But what I do know is that in the future I will not do business here again and when asked by my clients where I bought my car since I do rideshare. I tell them to stay clear away from here and then I give them my explanation as to why.

Charleston Nissan not only just got me into the greatest car I've ever owned, but delivered by far the single best buying experience I've ever had. Brand loyalty to Nissan cars goes back in my family to my grandfather who would buy only Nissans, because of the consistent quality and reliability of their build. George at Charleston Nissan spent hours with us, even passed closing, taking the time to listen to our situation and needs. He let us test drive 3 different cars and enjoyed helping us out the entire time. Having been in the industry for years, George was somewhat of a car expert, and I was amazed at the questions he was able to answer. And when I asked about a feature he wasn't aware of, he simply told me he didn't know the answer, but was happy to look it up. We weren't a "potential sale" to George, we were real people to him -- which is a professional and genuine integrity that can't be faked. He was aware of inventory that had just arrived but hadn't yet been photographed for the web; because of that, he got us into the perfect car. He was willing to show us multiple options, and we ended up paying no money down, with no change in the monthly payment we've been paying -- all while upgrading to a better vehicle that has fewer than 7,000 miles on it! I stopped here on 5 AUG 2017 with my girlfriend's Versa. There was a large piece of plastic dragging under the car from a collision with a raccoon. Dustyn was immediately helpful and within 5 minutes, tacked the plastic back up and secured it with a screw. He expected no compensation for his timely help. I was very impressed with his courteous help and that we were back on the road within 10 minutes.
