The way H of S schedules is ridiculous. This was for mandatory safety recall work (airbags, door lock). I had an 11 AM appt; when I made the appt they couldn't say how long the work would take, it depends on how many people are in front of you. Got there at 10:30, into the line for Appt's only; wasn't even talked to or registered in until after 11. They told me it would take 3-4 hrs, then to come back at 4, which by my count is 5 hours. I didn't have a ride back and their shuttle, undoubtedly convenient for many customers, doesn't go to my area. I waited, luckily with some reading materials; went to lunch on foot, came back, walked around the service bays at 1:30, my CR-V hadn't been started yet. Waited, waited some more. Back around the bays at 3; still not started. Waited. They finally called my cell at 4:20 and I got out of there at 4:30. Six hours from when I arrived. It appeared they did the work in about 1.5 hours. Even other dealerships give you a set time, a time estimate, and try to stick to it. Here you can depend on it taking your entire day; there were people waiting at 10:30 who were still there when I left at 4:30.

Bought a 2020 Honda HRV at this location. I bought my first car in this location as well. Tony was very helpful to tell me all the details of my car and all its safety features. He was very thorough with telling us all the details and he was very nice and welcoming. Jimmy was also very helpful when filling out all the paperwork. Great service! We were in and out within 2 hours.

On Feb 28, 2019 I took my car in for an oil change and servicing. Teddy Mui was there to assist me. He got my car up and running as promised by that evening in time to pick up my son from school. Great Job again Honda!!

When I got to Honda of Serramonte on Monday evening, Mr Wilson came out and quickly assisted me. My car was repaired ( all 4 new tires and an oil change) and Honda got me back on the road the next day. Thanks Mr Wilson and crew!!
Martinez was very professional and worked with me to explain all the work that needed to be done. He got me back on the road the same day As always great service and great staff!!!

On Dec 23, 2017 I took my car in for oil change and multi-point inspection and received the best care by Mr. Wilson again. Honda of Serramonte has one of the best representatives ever. Kudos to Mr Wilson for excellent customer service!! Mr. Wilson was awesome as always and provided top class service care .

Tony Chen at Serramonte was the only dealer contacted me with a quote. All others dealerships wanted a visit at the dealership. Do I want to waste half a day at the dealership with no idea what I'll be paying? Tony gave a quote with all applicable discount and it worked for me. The transaction was completed within 2 hours. Their finance manager Jose Castro was also extremely helpful explaining the services, extended warranty and other options. At the end I drove home satisfied with my ride.

My Experience was Excellent as it always is! When I pull up for service I am never sitting very long the employees always come to my car and see is I have been helped or which advisor I am waiting for. Darrell Wilson is my advisor and he always makes sure that I am well taken care of. He always makes sure that I have a coupon. He always explains exactly what my car needs and goes over what I have already had done. When I go and sit to wait for my service, if and when he has any update he always come to find me and let me know if they are almost done and what the technicians found and recommend for me to have done next to keep my car in top shape. Once my car is done he come to get me and always goes over my paper work to let me know what looks great and what s going to need work in the future. He always goes the extra mile for me and I have been a loyal customer! I have been coming to this dealership since 2012 and it s 2019. I bought my first car here at Honda of Serramonte in Colma, Ca. And they have always treat me right. Always willing to help. The cashiers are always willing to help especially Livian she has been there a long time and she is always smiling always greets and always ready to assist and serve. I recommend this dealership to everyone you will be happy that you put your car in the hand of Honda of Serramonte. I give them 5 stars , and if i could give more stars i definitely would with no hesitation.

I had Darrell Wilson assist me today. Darrell was very nice from the start. He welcomed me and he nicely asked about the purpose of my visit. Additionally, he was very thorough of the check up process and he clearly broke down the price list of my maintenance today.

Overall, I m very satisfied with my experience today with him and I look forward to doing business with him in the future.

I was looking for a used truck for hauling "stuff" with in my price range. So I surfed the internet. Honda of Serramonte had what I was looking for. I talked to Edmond Z., the internet salesman. He was very helpful. The process of buying was quick. The price on the internet was "OTD" (out the door) price plus an average of 11 percent tax and title. No haggling. It was lower than the carfax price. Everyone that I had contact with was knowledgable and friendly. Edmond when out of his way to insure that I was happy. Yes, I would purchase from them again.

I feel cheated! Requested for out the door cost for a Honda Accord at Honda of Serramonte which was listed as $17, 698. The salesperson got back saying, "Our Sonic Internet Price on your Accord stock number MHA207420 is $$17,698. The total after tax and fees will be around $19,976 (Tax $1743, Fees $536)" and also sent link to the details of the car which showed 'Internet Price: $16,998'. Later I noticed that on cargurus the price was listed as $16,698 (It seems the price had gone down just around the time I emailed). My fault I did not pay close attention to this. When i asked for the total to be reduced to $19000, the salesperson immediately reduced it to $19,500. I was surprised since Sonic is supposed to have one true no-haggle price. But now i understand that it was because they were already charging me way above their Sonic price. Emailed the salesperson the day after the purchase regarding this matter but no response so far. I have waited a few days to write this review hoping that somebody would get back to me but no...Not very ethical.

Did get their standard response, that they paste on all negative reviews, to contact them. But they have our contact information and if they really want to make it right they know what they need to do.
Service/maintenance time is coming and I dont want to go to them -- or any 'sonic' dealer!!

The service representative was able to give me a summary of the work to be done with a fair cost estimate. The work was done in a timely manner and service representative kept me in the loop as the work progressed. Thank you Honda Serramonte!

Just purchased brand new 2020 car from Honda of Serramonte. I strolled in there looking to do some test drives and get a feel for what I wanted. I ended up working with Josh. Josh is one of the newer sales guys, but nonetheless he was super knowledgeable, and all around helpful.

After test driving some cars, I let Josh know that I wasn t going to buy a car that day, and that I wanted to go home and do some more homework and sleep on which car I wanted. Josh got it, and respected that decision.

After doing my homework I decided that the Insight was the right car for me. I went back in the following day and Josh hooked me up with a great deal.

I can honestly say that everyone at Serramonte was friendly, helpful, respectful, and great to do business with. 5 Stars!

Granted I wasn't dressed well that day so the sales person, I think his name was Simon didn't want to spend any time with me. He didn't want to get keys for any cars and just expected me to look through the window. I wanted a 2017 or 2018 Accord and wanted one with the most features. Anyways after answering one or two questions I turned around and he just walked away without saying a thing and leaving me alone on the lot. Needless to say I was an all cash buyer and could afford anything on the lot. Since this is a Sonic lot, in the future I will go to Acura Serramonte next door and deal with them even if the vehicle is at Honda Serramonte.

Updated 07/08/2020: So after getting the bums rush at their sales lot, I finally got my 2018 Honda Accord Touring 2.0T from another dealer. Since my car had an outstanding recall for a fuel pump, I decided to give their service department a chance (their sales department was a fail). I called around 4pm while they were open and got a recording. I requested a return call for service and left my cell number twice on the recording. After almost a week and a half, I called Victory Honda in San Bruno and instantly go an appointment. They advised me that they have to order the part and gave me an appointment when they had it. In short good service at Victory Honda in San Bruno, and for Honda of Serramonte, I am still waiting for a return call for service.

Two years ago I took my car in to Serramonte for repair. I d been hearing a grinding noise-intermittently-when starting my car. One of the attendants that works in the garage where I park my car heard the noise one day and told me it sounded like my starter. So when I brought it in I asked them to CHECK my starter. They asked if I needed a diagnostic and I said no, I just need my starter checked.
I went to work and they called me in the afternoon and said my car was ready and they had replaced my starter. I picked it up that night. A week or so later I heard the noise again so I took it back. They called me later and said it was the VTC and would cost me approx. $800. I said I thought they had fixed the problem when they replaced the starter. They said no, that I had asked for the starter to be replaced but that was not the problem. I NEVER asked or told them to replace anything, and you would think they would have called me first before replacing anything. They did not.
So they replaced the VTC and I have never been back.
Now it s 2 years later. I take my car to a different Honda dealership because I ve been hearing that grinding again. They tell me it s the VTC and it needs to be replaced AGAIN. Give me a break-hardly 2 years go by and it needs replacing (almost $1000.)
I think they are crooks and I will never step foot in there again. And I share my story with everyone.

My 2017 Honda CRV had the first service done here today 03/02/2018. The service consultant Bobby Santos is so friendly and professional. He explained to me in details what kind of service my card needs in details and the time needed to finish it. My car is ready as promised and delivered to me by him nicely. Great job.

Very satisfying experience with staff and service at Serramonte Honda yesterday. I bought my 2017 used Honda Civic from this dealership. I have a relationship with a garage in San Francisco, but my experience with Steve Lee in Sales and the Finance team when I bought the car was so positive that I decided to give the service department a shot. Brian Wong was very kind and courteous to me. He listened carefully to my questions, identified my service needs and addressed them in a thorough and professional manner. He even arranged for my car to be washed! I look forward to returning for my service and maintenance in the future. Thank you for everything.

The person who helped me at Colma s service during 8:30am 1/25 was very helpful and accommodating. He explained clearly what my service is and did not try to sell anything that I didn t need - especially since the car is new. He also let me get a car wash since it seemed like they maybe were not doing it. When I went to go pick up the car I forgot my face mask and had to use my jacket - the lady who was working around 2 or 3pm offered to get me a face mask. I was in and out in less than a few minutes grabbing my car and everyone in process was wonderful

Bobby the Saint or Big Shot Bob is the consummate professional and Pinoy ambassador. Overall good, service was busy so I dropped off my car for a damaged wheel bearing on the front left wheel, they were able to call me by the end of the day to confirm that they had successfully received my car. They then called the next day saying it's all fixed and ready to go. Only problem is that when I picked my car they didn't have my keys and had to wait until the following morning. Had to uber because their shuttle wasn't picking up in the morning. The other problem is they told me when I picked up my car that because one wheel bearing was broken that the other one is too. So instead of fixing both, I would have to now go back twice. Otherwise, great service!

Coming here for over 14 years and service has gotten worse. Always had appointments but had to call to find out status of car in the late afternoon. I dont think customer service is as important than selling you a service.

I took my car to Honda Serramonte for a recall and it was fixed at the agreed time. Bobby Santos is a very professional and diligent person, he took care of me, he let me know the results of the multi-point inspection and recommended the services of the dealer; Also he found a second recall my car had and I didn't notice. He called me when my car was repaired and he sent the shuttle to picked me up at the front door of my house, I also had contact with Lynette in the service department, she speaks Spanish like me, and she was very diligent as well. Very satisfied with the service to my Honda... ;)

I figure there s always a little bit of upselling when I go to a dealer, but charging me over $400 for $85 dollars worth of parts? And $160 labor for a 15 minute coil pack replacement job? And on a problem I ve gone to get addressed for the third time now? No more, Honda of Serramonte. Not this time. Taking my business elsewhere from now on.

After reviewing this dealership I was upset to find out now at 45k my Honda didn t have the 30k service performed, I was very direct in asking what maintenance needs done one this vehicle. Now I'm finding out it s pst due for transmission and brake fluid change that should have been done already. I purchased my Honda with 32k mileage on it. 2k over the maintenance interval. I take excellent care of my vehicles- they should have taken care of it. On a good note:
Abbas was prompt to get back to me with an inquiry for the vehicle I ended up purchasing! The entire staff were helpful. Constance the finance manager was excellent.

I bought a new Honda Ridgeline from Honda of Serramonte. I had a very good experience. I met with Zahi the internet salesperson and found him to be very helpful. I got the price I wanted. Everyone I came into contact with was helpful. I did not feel pressured at all. Zahi gave me a complete tour of the vehicle which was very helpful and appreciated. I would recommend anyone looking for a Honda to give them a try.

I've never dealt with a more incompetent dealership. When we bought the car we were told we were all good to go. When I tried to use it a few days later it wouldn't start. Turns out they sold us a car that had a bad battery! So I took it to the dealership and they replaced the battery. A couple weeks later, someone called me saying they needed to schedule an appointment to activate the car alarm, despite telling us everything was taken care of when we bought it. So we took it in for service they said would take 2 hours and they'd call me when it was ready. 4.5 hours later I called to find out the status, and it took 4 people and lots of transferring departments to locate the car, and to finally tell me it was done. When I asked why I was not called as they said they would, they had no answer.
