Recently purchased an used suv at Honda of Serramonte. Sales person Kris did a phenomenal job and caring for my questions and needs of what type of vehicle I was looking for. Although I wish they didn t sell used cars with that low of a tire treads (less than half tread life) But that s my fault for not checking. No negotiations on prices sucks too but I needed a vehicle quick. Everything was going well till the end of the paper signing. Finance manager jimmy was cool in the beginning until he tried to sell me the warranty. He was very pushy. I declined the warranty and instantly the vibes changed. I almost back out the deal. But again I needed a car quick. Would I ever buy a car there again? Would not be my first choice.
After a terrible customer service at the Honda SF dealership, we decided to pay the Serramonte location a visit to see if things would move more swiftly as well as receiving a better customer service. After spending 5 minutes with Edmund, we know that he was a man of action and integrity. We are very pleased with the customer service and felt that he listened to our needs and made sure that all of our needs were taken care of. He's a man of action and has also made sure to follow-up with us after the purchase to make sure that we're happy with the car. If you are thinking of buying a Honda car, then go directly to the Serramonte location.
This review is concerning the service department. I write it half for the random reader, and half for the owners/managers, as it seems that they read these with fair consistency, and there were a couple issues that they may want to know about (I would, were I in their shoes).
The service itself went completely as planned. Staff was friendly and helpful. Shuttle service was convenient. 5-stars for these.
One star off for the following reason. Upon picking up my vehicle, I was told that the tread on my tires was down to 65%. I had the tires replaced at an extremely reputable tire shop with extremely reputable and highly recommended tires ~500 miles ago. There is absolutely no chance they're down to anything near 65%. You can tell they're brand new just by looking at them. I don't know how this is measured, or if this type of estimate is a tactic to get people to buy tires more frequently than necessary, or what, but it seemed a little dishonest in any case.
The second star comes off as a result of the multi-point inspection provided with service. According to this inspection, all of my fluids (break fluid, engine coolant, washer fluid levels, etc.) were in proper working order. However, immediately after picking up my vehicle (30 seconds after), I found that the washer fluid tank was empty. I knew it was low going into the shop, and of course it's not their fault that it had run out, but it makes me wonder whether any of the other things included in the inspection were actually checked - some of which might actually matter. I understand that this inspection is sort of a courtesy, and I don't take it for granted. But if I'm being told that something has has been checked and is good to go, when really it hasn't and isn't? That's an issue. It seems in this case, someone was just checking boxes to finish the paperwork.
These are small issues, but on a general level, people who don't know much about cars (myself included) are always worried about getting ripped off during vehicle service. As inconsequential as my issues are, they are the sorts of things that factor into that paranoia.
I also overheard something being said when dropping the vehicle off about a few of their technicians simply not showing up for work in the morning. I don't know if that's true or not, and I may have misheard or misunderstood, so I didn't let it affect my rating here, but it's fairly unprofessional if it is the case. It didn't seem to affect my service timeline, but thought it was worth mentioning.
Overall, definitely satisfied with the requested service and the staff. But by my lights, there were a few little integrity issues that could be improved. I'll be back, but I'll be vigilant.
They were efficient, respectful, and was able to get my car in an hour. They did the oil change, car rotation and surprised and thankful they did a complimentary inspection too. Also, they honored my 10% off coupon for services.

I originally came here with my husband with the intention of buying a Honda Pilot from a different dealership. I just wanted to test drive a Honda Pilot and this was the closest Honda to our home. But when we got there, we met Gene and he helped us purchase our new Honda Odyssey. As a growing family of four, the Honda Odyssey felt like a better fit for our family then the Honda Pilot. Gene was not pushy at all. In fact he answered all of our questions and found us a great deal on our Honda Odyssey. We're very happy with our new car as well as with the continued customer service from Serramonte Honda. I've already recommended to my family to go to that dealership. My dad is already looking at the Honda accord or the Honda CRV.
Worst deal I ever made in my life
Please save your money, beware when sign the paperwork, ask about return policy within 2 days or 200miles, don t let them delined it for you. they don t do a good job to service the car before they sell it. BEWARE!!!
Eric took care of everything fast and easy, I would definitely recommend going to him with any of your problems, he ll make sure everything is taken care of in a timely matter.

It was a quick and easy process with this dealership. I went and told them what I'm looking for what I'm willing to pay and they made it happen in minutes.
Long wait just to drop off. I had an appointment but still waited over half an hour! I tried to get someone but they were unconcerned. I was basically told I just had to keep waiting and no one was willing to break from what they were doing. I guess they never heard of the concept "Customers First".
Fast and quick service. Service rep Eric Chau was very nice to work with. Over all a good experience and got my car back in a fairly short period of time. Love my Honda Accord.
They lost are star cause I had an appointment and yet it took so long to wait in line to drop off my vehicle.... like an hour long. Time is precious and if it is expected to take this long, this should be told to clients in advance. I try to avoid this place as much as I can but sometimes it is necessary.
Where do i start?! It seems like NO ONE answers the phone there! i needed to get an apt for my airbag recall... finally got tired of leaving voicemails will no call backs i went to the dealership in person to get an apt. the girl at the front desk seemed pretty unhappy to be working there but i did get an apt.
i did have a question about my cars paint recall(I own a 2010 honda civic coupe) she directed me to the guys out there in service and they told me to bring it in any day monday-friday... finally got a day off and they directed me to GAVA body shop to get pictures done for the recall to see if i qualify ...1 month later i get a call from GAVA telling me i can drop my car off at honda and they will pick it up...
get to honda monday morning 7am there is a line i wait patiently to get help once i received some help the guy wasn't very helpful it's like he wanted me to assume what i was suppose to do! thats very irritating in the morning... then he didn't even give me a paper saying i dropped off my car!
so finally Darrel wilson(i believe that's his name) helped me with everything and reassured me about the whole experience... that man is a gem and this place is lucky to have him! He is the only reason why i am even giving this place 2 stars because the customer service there just isn't that great from my experience
Oil change and service was great. The shuttle service they offer is terrible though! Don't bother trying to take it. I waited for an hour and a half and missed a ton of work trying to get the shuttle to and from the dealership.

The process took some time, but less time than any other car buying experience we ve had and at nine months pregnant that s important. There was never any pressure to purchase which was nice. I was doing my windows shopping for my first new car, and I was interested in the Honda Civic, that is why I come to Honda of Serramonte! Guess what? I actually purchased the car at the same day! The reason for that is my salespersons did the fantasy job! He explained everything in the car, let me test drive the car twice and meet my monthly budget! I can't find any excuse to go home without my Civic! I am very happy with their service!!!

This past Monday I didn t expext for me to end my day with a car, I started going to Victory Honda at first liking and leaning to get the 2018 Honda Accord sport sedan, I wasn t pleased because of the price and didn t want to work with me but I continued my search because Honda victory was trying to get me for my money.....So I went to serramonte Honda dealer ship and Eric Wu took care of me, told him what I was looking for and what I can afford so little did I know from the help of financial senior Jose they were awesome and made my decision alil easier. I bought a 2017 Accord from Honda of Serramonte. Their price was better than all the other dealerships in Bay Area. The vehicle purchase process was a breeze and I had my car ready to drive out of the lot in no time. The only problem with the dealership is that the service center is short staffed on weekends and you have to wait for a long time to get you car serviced even if you have an appointment. Also some of the salesmen seems to be unexperienced.

Very poor experience trying to negotiate a price for a Honda Civic with Tamu, Internet sales rep. I emailed all the details of what I wanted with the car and first I got call where he hadn t even read the email. Then I get an email with a price that didn t include the add-ons I specifically requested in my email. Then when I again told him I wanted an all-in, out-the-door price, I got a ridiculously high quote, with the add-ons marked up well above the MSRP on Honda s website. When I questioned that, I was told that it s because they include installation. Really? How much does it cost to install all-season floor mats or a trunk tray??! At the same time, we were negotiating with Honda of Oakland s internet sales dept and they were very reasonable with their quotes. Serramonte - you need to up your game in internet sales if you expect to compete with other dealers in the Bay Area.

I bought 2009 Honda Odyssey drove it out the lot got on the free way the gas light came on it was heavy traffic and i had to drive hour and half to get home
I thought its like any dealer when you purchase a car the fill up a tanke of ges so I didn't pay attention to the gas cage.
Second day enjoing driving the car found out the car vibrating after 60 M/h speed stopped by mechanic to find out who ever did the service to the car didn't balance the tires so i had to do it my self.
In the fact I waited for this car 2 hours to be ready because it was at the service department for safety inspections but I think the didn't do right was not safe .
And the finance manager wasn't nice at all .

I went into Serramonte Honda for the airbag recall. The service I received was of extremely high quality. I was helped by Bobbie Santos. I would have thought because the safety recall was "free" to me, that I would receive less helpful service. But that was not the case. Bobbie did a full inspection of my car, to check that everything was OK (he gave honest feedback that all was good. I highly value honesty in my car mechanic). I also was given a complimentary car wash, which was very much appreciated. I received excellent and honest service, and will be sure to return in the future. I even offered Bobbie a tip, and he declined. To me this exemplifies providing good service for the sake of good service. Which is hard to find. Thank you Bobbie and the Honda Serramonte team.
