This time the dealer got it right. They fixed the installation of the door edge guards on my new 2016 CRV in a couple of hours and it was done correctly. It actually turned out that the way the car was built you were not supposed to install door edge guards on the car because you had to grind away at the edge of the door to get them to fit.
They should have said that they could not be installed and that would have been that.
Exceptional service. Use replacement wiper inserts instead of completely new wipers. Free car wash and ride to work and back.

Had a bad experience at a different dealership and decided to try this place before I gave up and just extended my lease. Hien helped me out, and made the whole experience easy and no BS. Fixed all the problems I had with the other dealer and gave me a good price. Again no BS, no tricking or whatever. Happy I gave this place a shot, and will continue doing business with them.

All though I have not purchase a new vehicle yet but I have to give the sale team here a really good review base on my experience with Anna Marie and the sales manager, they explain everything and made thing very clear, I left very comfortable coming here for the first time. Even though I have yet to agree on the price but their price so far was very competitive could get in the Bay Area.

Worst car experience ever , don t ever come here , bought a car and these guys are so unprofessional , gave me a dirty brand new car and when I asked why my car is not cleaned they saying come back to us other day seriously? I would never recommend anyone here , go somewhere else
I have been going to Honda of Hayward Service for years and have never been disappointed until now. Lets start with the service experience, I got there 10 minutes before my appointment time and ended up waiting for about 40 minutes before i was helped. It seems my original advisor was out sick so the advisor that took over, Robert helped me. He was very helpful, on top of the oil change my car needed he suggested a tire rotation, which I agreed to (at a cost of $24.95 that I wasn't informed of). I returned when my vehicle was ready, in a rush to get back to work I paid and immediately left (not to mention that the worker who was supposed to be manning the desk for checkout/payment was nowhere to be found, after waiting and looking for 10 minutes I went back to grab my advisor so that I could get my car). Once I got home I was surprised to find the tire rotation I paid $24.95 for was not done, i know this as it was indicated in the notes for service. Since my service date of 7/29/2020 I have been calling, emailing and trying to get a hold of someone to get this taken care of and I have not received one call or email back. Nonetheless if this is how customer complaints are now being handled then I will have to get my car serviced elsewhere.
This is my third time coming to this location for a vehicle. The staff is always attentive and super helpful. They work with you on pricing and really get to know you to put you in a car more suitable for your everyday needs. Shout out to Cesar Sandoval my sales person. Kenneth was a fantastic salesperson. He didn't make me feel pressured to buy a vehicle and explained each step to me as we went. All negotiating was done over the phone and when I arrived at the dealership I didn't feel like I was being tricked into another deal. This is the third Honda I have taken to Honda of Hayward to be serviced and it is always a good experience. Any questions I have about my vehicle and when something should be serviced I always ask them and I get thorough answers.
Went in for a simple oil change and tire rotation on a rainy day and everyone was nice (so early in the morning), there was ample space for me to sit and wait and I was out of there in a reasonable amount of time.
Love the new upgrades to the waiting area......great fast friendly service!
I just had my car serviced at Hayward Honda yesterday and I'm giving a 5 star review. My car was nearing 100,000 miles and the service recommended was a valve adjustment and spark plug replacement. Calling several honda dealers for pricing estimates were averaging around $1,000 which didn't make sense to me. With the aftermarket at around $550.I Called Hayward Honda and talked to Rob Miller who quoted me a price at under 500. Thought he made a mistake but I booked a appointment right away lol. I met Rob and he was very personal and professional. He explained the service very thoroughly. I gave a 35 coupon online and he ended finding me a $50 coupon. So with a oil change and service I walked out there spending only $520, ive been working in the dealerships for over 29 years and encountered the best customer service there. Go see Rob Miller he's the best service advisor I've dealt with!
I went in on a Sat 1-19 afternoon 4p wanted to purchase a new Honda Fit 2019 EX .
After introduced to salesman Max Hu.
He was busy with other groups of people before us .
I waited for more than 45 mins before he came to show me the car . In between he disappeared back to the earlier group left me waited again for another 45 mins .
By then I was already tired waiting.
After I saw the car and did some negotiations which I thought was a good price . (my mind was actually very tired long day ) .
Max said to wait in lobby for the finance department to call me in to go over the paperwork .
I waited another 3-4 Long Hours by then was already 8:30p . Im so drained by this buying process and was feeling very stressed out . Max should have told me it took that long in waiting.
No time to go over the detail questions about car cos all of us were tired and all of us wanted to go home .
I left the dealership got home almost 10p.
Next morning I emailed Max re question about Roadside assistance and other questions but still no reply as of today .
I also realized I have over paid the MSRP price by 500-1000 dollars
cos I was so tired to negotiate .
The new car doesn t come with complimentary maintainable . Maybe Honda has changed that to save money . Not happy .
Overall , unsatisfied customer with the purchase process with Honda of Hayward.
Would not recommend others to go there !

I have both my Hondas serviced here. George Lopes has always done a great job for me. He's responsive and helpful and has given good suggestions too.
Although the service adviser was great, I see that my steering wheel is damaged by the servicemen. I notice a heavy cut on my steering wheel with a sharp object which was not there before the service appointment. This is not the first time I am having this type of experience from the Hayward Honda Service Center. Once before after a wheel alignment appointment, there were boot prints on my back seats. Then after another appointment, there was a cut/scratch on the back of drivers seat. I thought the earlier damages would have been mistakes but now I feel that the servicemen damaged my vehicle purposely at every occasion. The damage on the steering wheel is major and it is obstructing my driving concentration. I would appreciate a remedy from Honda.
Everything that was quoted matched the final bill. Car was done in one day which was great given that a valve adjustment/spark plug replacement and timing belt replacement was part of the items. Service person explained exactly what was being done in the B14 service.

I was shopping around at different Honda Dealerships during July 4th and this was one of the only places that wasn't a private Honda dealership that didn't have jacked up prices. The guy that helped me out (Kris C.) was also extremely helpful as well as the finance guy (shoutout to Noel!) they set me up with. Kris was great at explaining everything from GAP Insurance, lojack, to the extended warranty. I wasn't planning on buying a car that day to be honest, I really only wanted an estimate. But by the end of the day I walked away with a new 2017 Honda Civic Ex.
All those bad reviews about getting ripped off was only because they didn't talk to the right salesman. Hands down, ask for Kris. He'll set you up the way you want to be with the ride you want.
My visit started off with test driving one of the 2017 Hatchback Civics and Kris did a great job explaining all the differences between the sedan and the hatch that the Honda website failed to detail. He was extremely hospitable as well as everyone else we met that worked there and helped me realize which car would really best suit my needs.
If you ever need a Honda come to Honda of Hayward and ask for Kris. He'll show you the ropes and explain all the details to you in full.
PS: My favorite part about the visit was that whenever I was talking to him, it never seemed like he was really trying to push a sale. He made sure I knew what I was getting myself into and let me have as much time as I needed to make such a big decision and was even willing to negotiate. Also, Noel was fantastic at explaining the finances! Both these guys, straight up brothas!

Preston Williams is the best adviser I have ever met!! I have worked with him with all my maintenance needs in the past several years. He is honest, compassionate and very knowledgeable. If there is any issue that he was not sure, he will find out the answer for me.
I feel well supported when my car is serviced under Preston's care. Honda Hayward also is easy to get an appointment and their courtesy driver service was very user friendly.
My experience with Honda Hayward is very different than other Honda services in the area. I feel like I am a person they serve rather than a number on their paperwork.

Great experience. Basically what any customer wants when facing a car issue. I received a professional and prompt response and my car was in and out the same day. My cars transmission light turned on and I was able to get an early Monday morning appointment(called in on a Saturday). I worked with Robert who is a true professional who clearly knows what he was talking about. Can t ask for any more.

Replaced a faulty pressure valve that was causing the 3rd gear to fail. This would make the car jerk violently when driving(intermittently). All costs we re covered under power train.

What an amazing day! We drove home an accord with everything we wanted in a luxury sedan!! I came here 6 years ago in 2012 to buy a honda civic and the experience was great Faruk was a very good salesman and I believe they did a fantastic job. Here I am again in 2018 and I still see some familiar faces but I'm glad to say even the new personnel is very professional and helpful. I'm glad I got help from Jeremy in purchasing my vehicle he really explained things to me in lay men's terms which was extremely helpful in coming to my final decision, I didn't feel like he was trying to swindle me like I have felt at other dealerships. He did a great job as did the finance people behind the desk making sure I got approved for a loan. I'm also grateful for Lexi she really took the time to review everything for my loan including warranties and all the legalities in a manner that made sense to me. All in all this is a very good dealership, probably the best in Hayward, I highly recommend anyone looking for a new or even used car to visit Honda of Hayward!
Showed up at 3 for appointment. Waited in service office for 10 minutes before anyone even talked to me. 2 guys came in and out, ignored me, worked on computer. Finally Oscar said we'll be with you in a while. Then they told me someone was in front of me, getting a tire. I said that shouldn't affect me, I'm getting trans oil change. 5 minutes later, Bill walked in, and said he'd take care of me. He took the paperwork, and led me to his office. He processed my information, and was very professional about it. He told me that 3 guys had
called in sick. I replied that's too bad, but that the 2 guys in the service office should have
acknowledged my presence as soon as they came in the office, being ignored is not good customer service. Bill said I could wait in the waiting room, I did, the car was done within 45 minutes. When I paid, I found out that Bill was a manager, which made sense. He knows what good customer service is all about. He deserves a raise. Your customer service employees deserve more training.
I ve been with Honda of Hayward for three (3! Years now and I ve have the great pleasure of having Sal assist next every time! Most recently, Sal and KC were tremendously helpful in helping me to finance a new vehicle after being in a car accident, which left my car in a total loss. Started off great but didn't end so well. For $95 I got to hear the employees screaming at each other, completly unprofessional. The sign said no entry without a mask and employees casually walking around with no mask along with a customer, very confusing,and to top it off they lost my keys , I went to go look for them myself and no one seemed really concerned that had been told my car was ready almost 10 minutes prior and my keys were MIA. I will never go to this Honda again and I live 4 minutes away so I'm sure that says alot. I have never been so mad at spending $95 in my life. They only got the 1 star because I had to in order to leave this review.

I was looking to purchase a new Honda vehicle and had seen pricing on Hayward Honda website better than most other dealerships. I sent an email to inquire about vehicle listed if it was available and received a fast reply that it was in stock from Mr. LC. Finley Sr. unlike other some dealers days later or no reply. Contacted LC. next day that I coming go look at vehicle and he doubled checked to make sure it was still available which was much appreciated since I am not from the area. He took the time to show me all the features, set up modes, info on warranty, and maintenance. There was no pressure or hassle in buying and did get a great price. LC and finance staff were so helpful. I am very satisfied with my buying experience and would highly reccomend.
Service Advisor Oscar Renal made an excellent job addressing my concern and fixing my car issue (inoperational audio unit no display at all). He listened to me to understand what my problem is, worked with proper technicians to check on my car, made the right judgement of just replacing the entire audio unit, ordered the parts and gave me specific number of days it will arrive and for me to come back. The part arrived as expected and my audio unit was fixed on the exact day he told me to come back as he promised. I also noticed they somehow cleans the exterior of my car for it to look clean everytime I get out of the service shop. Kudos as well to the skilled technicians at the back who fixed and replaced the audio unit perfectly, considering this is the new Type R vehicle..!

The service was totally bad. I had an appointment at 10:40am but they got me at 12:40am which means I had to wait 2 hours. Finally after two hours wait, they asked me to drop the car for service. I m very disappointed with their service. There were two line one for appointments and the other one for non-appointments. They were taking both line at the same time which doesn t make sense. If they re going to assist both lines then what s the point of making an appointment???

The service department tried to take advantage of me! I was there to repair a nail in my tire. I have a warranty that pays for repairs or a new tire if needed. Initially I only came to Honda because they told me that they would bill the warranty company directly. After waiting 2 long hours I was told that my tire was not repairable and that I needed a new one that I would have to pay upfront for which was $247 and the company would mail me a check for $150. He even went as far as to explain to me that the position of the nail which was supposedly on the side wall is why it couldn't be repaired. With that I felt like I needed a second opinion. So I took my car to another tire shop! As I watched man pull out the nail which was no where near the place the Honda service department claimed it to be I was disappointed! I can't believe that people still do this! Trying to take advantage of a woman is not ok! I've always had a good experience with Honda of Hayward but this was an absolute turn off! By the way my tire repair was only $20.
I bought my Honda Pilot 1 1/2 year ago. I am very pleased with it. I always take good care of the car and I would go to Honda to have the oil change. Their price are very reasonable and I got a $10 coupon. I don't know much about car, so this is the place I can trust and these are honest people.
