To be quite fair in terms of aesthetics and design Its perfect its 5/5 out. In terms of service it is god awful. Having to wait an hour for breakfast and having to ask repeatedly for water (three times by the way). I come ft breakfast not to get mad when my waiter cant even bring water. Next topic I should bring up is the silverware at the atrociously drawn out meals. I never had gotten such dirty forks and spoons in my life for a meal, like they were just used and barely rinsed with water by someone texting and never having done the dishes at home. To me the staff is awful at serving meals in the sundance area while it left a nasty enough impression that I dont even want to eat elsewhere on the premise. Now I do understand that service is hard to come by but when the local restaurants down the road are cheaper and have far superior service that makes the $15 omelette seem obsolete.

This resort has beautiful views of the surrounding area, and the facilities are great. Grounds are beautiful. Excellent restaurants and bars, the pool and play areas all the same, just great. The rooms were a surprise, neat, clean, and plain. I assume they figure you won't spend a lot of tome there. We didn't, so i guess it worked out fine.

I will just get to it. Staff at the pool were wonderful at making me and my family feel like we were not welcomed from the start. We went in with drinks from our room, as we walked in we did see the sign that said please no outside drinks. My boyfriend stood and tried to locate the first trash can he could to dump the drinks as we looked around a staff member approached us and reiterated the rule. My BF then asked him why was he only addressing us when clearly others had plastic cups in their hands as well. His answer was, "Well I don't want to tell everyone." As confused as we were we left the pool area and came back without the drinks. BF then went to the girl at the bar and apologized then ordered two sodas. She wouldn't serve him because he had no wrist band on. We were not given wrist bands at check in so we had no idea we needed them. My friends were starting to ask why we were being singled out when they called security, then 20 minutes later a manager approached us as said he was going to ask us to leave if we didn't settle down. As we were explaining to him how horrible we felt when his staff was singling us out other guest with out wrist bands WERE being served. I told the manger that we were going back to our room because I was feeling as though we were not welcomed he never apologized for the actions of his staff, and I didn't even mention the fact that they were refusing to let my kids in the pool because of the wrist band policy. My kids saw other without wrist bands and they didn't understand. I had to leave the pool area because I got so emotional and I started to cry. We left out room around 4am because I was so uncomfortable and angry about what had happened. I called to complain and no one called me back until I called a second time. It wasn't even the GM it was the head of restaurant relations. I told him everything, he apologized and asked us to come stay again for a better experience. After he took my information, I received a forward from the email he sent to the GM. He was asking for her to please give us a two night stay, 4 days later and still nothing. This is what makes me think that we weren't welcomed and people like us aren't welcomed at their resort. It has nothing to do with money I was not looking for that, the room was actually a git from our friend who stays their a lot. It was the way we were approached, the way no one came to say it was wrong. The pool staff was the worst. I feel like there was and is nothing I can do for the way my BF and my children were treated. having them stand around waiting for those stupid wrist bands broke my heart. The staff paid no attention to the kids until they realized they were with us. That is when they were approached about the wrist bands. Im so angry about that. We have tattoos, were dark, we didn't fit into what they want their resort to look like I'm not sure what happened but I hate that I was their that day. I hate that I spent my day off waiting around for management to threaten to kick my family out and for no good reason. It was horrible. I was so excited to hang out with the kids and my friends, I even looked into the website because we want to look for a small venue when we get married next year. Everything about that day was just wrong. we ended up ordering pizza and watching TV in the room which was actually nice. I had it all planned out we were going to swim for hours then dinner. What a waste of a day off, a couple of days later we got a room by the airport. We wanted to still have our pool day with the kids. We ended up swimming and walking to Dennys, it was awesome!!!!!
Thank you Stay Bridge near the Tucson Airport for making us feel like we ARE allowed to have fun and relax. Thank you Stay Bridge for not looking us up and down and trying to figure out why tattooed people think they should have family time. Thank you Stay Bridge for not making a big deal of having two kids instead of one like it was originally planned. Thank you Stay Bridge for not freaking out on us when we asked for extra
towels, STAY BRIDGE, your the best ever!!

Went to visit with a friend that came to Tucson. If it wasn't for me having Google Maps, I would have never found this place. It's laid out like a resort. The rooms are very large and clean. Not sure what all services are offered at this location.

A great resort with golf courses, tennis courts and a lovely pool. The outside area looks impressive. The breakfast is quite extensive and tastes delicious. The rooms are spacious with comfortable beds. The bathroom is okay, but a bit superficial.
The location of the hotel is practically close to some hiking routes. These allow you to see the unique flora of this region up close.

Myself and a number of friends stayed at the El Conquistador for the weekend after the wedding on Friday. Service was decent. Drinks at the poolside bar were very pleasurable. Swimming was fun. Room was clean and didn't have a lot of issues. Card was charged in the correct amount. The only issue I had was when a golf cart ride was requested for my Casita to the pool area noone showed up. My luggage was taken to my Casita by myself however I did have friends whose luggage was lost and they did complain of cockroaches in their room. I also had numerous complaints in my party that the room that they'd reserved was no longer available and a lot of confusion. My experience overall though was a decent one.

A better property than a hotel. Beautiful location. The place has massive potential. But it's like a 3 star hotel in a 5 star setting. The recent room upgrade were an improvement but it could still be better.

John at the Front Desk and The Spa went way outta their way to help me with a surprise for my family. My Family loved the location, Views, Chocolate and massages!!! You can't go wrong here!

The hotel is absolutely beautiful. The mountain backdrop is seriously something out of a post card. The room was standard but clean and nice, with a great view. The hotel catered the food for our conference, and it was all very good. Pool bartenders were friendly and attentive, and the pool areas were really nice. Overall we had a great time and I would definitely come back.

Our stay was amazing! We got here early and they let us go ahead and check in an hour early. Augustin at the front desk was friendly, helpful and so nice! My husband mentioned it was our anniversary and they surprised us with champagne, strawberries and chocolates! All the staff were super friendly and our room was also amazing! We are most definitley coming back!! Thank you so much!

Came for the cake/food tasting for my wedding. Everything was exceptional. I personally don't like fish, and actively hate salmon in particular, but I tried a bite of the salmon and it was amazing. My fiancee is Celiac, and the pastry chef made some amazing gluten free cake. We originally planned on only the top layer of the cake being gluten free, and the guests could have regular gluten cake, but after tasting it we decided to serve it to everyone.

Love it

Terrible experience in the morning. Housekeeping woke us up at 11:00 sharp when we had a do not disturb sign up. She called the front desk and front desk called us the room. They asked if we wanted extended check out and we said yes, and expected to check out around 1. At noon, housekeeper starts forcibly knocking and trying to open the door. Yells at us and tells us, literally, to get out. Front desk calls again, offers the same extended check out and says we didn't ask for extended check out earlier. At this point I was angry we left. I'm a diamond member, give Hilton around $25,000 in business annually. Status doesn't matter here. Your business doesn't matter to them. I will not be giving El Conquistador my business ever again.

This "hotel" is just old buildings on a large property. Which technically makes it a "motel". Terrible customer service and room cleanliness. The view from the lobby is beautiful. Save yourself the hassle and leave after the view.
Also apparently, towels are a luxary item. I had to use a hand towel to dry off. After requesting towels twice. If I had known, I would have brought some from home.

Great facility, incredible setting, it was a little underwhelming only because there was lots of new staff, training, inexperience, not real professional but that should improve. Beautiful spot. Food was just ok.

This a beautiful hotel with amazing rooms and views. However, when we checked in, the lobby smelled like sewage and there was a roach in our room. They also charged me and my wife twice for the room and have been unresponsive when trying to correct the issue. So while the hotel is nice, I'm not sold on the staff.

Getting a bit outdated and needs a refresh. Air conditioner could not get room to a cool temperature and minor things were broken (outlets not working, doors not latching, etc). Conference area was nice but occasionally had the same AC problem.

The place is so good the food the nice Italy vibe to the rooms but I don't like how they don't serve breakfast here and we have to get it some where else or pack. But over all I'm enjoying my stay.

This review is for both the ballroom rental/catering and the hotel rooms. First, we rented the Presidio ballroom for a reunion event and absolutely loved the experience. All of the staff members were kind, professional, helpful and put on a great event. As far as the hotel room went, we got a King Casita suite and it was beautiful and comfy. Will definitely use again for both events and hotel.

Joleen the front desk associate was the best! Had a small issue with my room. Not only did she correct the problem she literally went above and beyond to make this trip special for my wife.

Thanks, Joleen, your customer service was exceptional!

Fantastic property. The front desk people are informative amd courteousas well as extremely helpful. Samantha got me upgraded and Cody had me in my room very quickly. The breakfast staff was awesome with Geno waiting on our table and Ana getting us seated. A really fine staff. Loved our stay at El Conquistador!

The only thing to say about this place is that it's amazing!!! I wish I had all the time to enjoy every aspect of it. The layout of the buildings to the centralized area makes it amazing. Only flaw with the entire place would be the parking. The staff is more than willing to help you to your room via golf carts. I missed many things about this place and it felt like vacation...

I sure wish there was a way to rate with no stars. Here is a brief break down of the experiences of my in laws and myself at this hotel in a short two night stay. The grounds sure looked nice but almost twisted ankles trying to walk down the slanted walk ways. The parking is a long ways away so come prepared to wait for your turn to get the golf cart ride of your life as the drivers attempt to throw you out as they fly recklessly around corners. Another person when asking the front desk where they could find an ice machine were told that ice would be brought to them, it came with a $4 dollar bill. Another person was charged over 200 dollars in extra charges for things not existing or he ever asked for. Thankfully he is a lawyer and got ride of most of them. The bride and groom who stayed there never received the complementary champagne and strawberries as advertised, when the groom called the front desk they apologized and said it would be there in a few minutes, never came.
Now the inside of the rooms. The major things here is that the quality of the wall paper and the comforters on the beds were equal to that of what i have seen in most motel 6's. there was a vanity mirror that swung out from the wall, it was not attached correctly and fell out every time you tried to use it. The sink was lose and wiggled when you used it.
Now here is the kicker, the wireless internet is 10 dollars for a 24 hour period, guess what McDonald's has free internet now along with almost every hotel out there.
So the jist is they try to cover poor service and exaggerated charges with their name, take my advice and look at the nicer cheaper yet much higher quality Westward Look not that far away.
